Culture in the Philippines and How It Affects Me
Philippine culture is interesting, mostly in how it affects Filipino families
and their way of Ii
ing. Many Filipinos love to put on a show for family and friends. This
can manifest itself in many ways: Filipino families who live far away will try to reunite on
special occasions, such as Christmas or New Year's Eve. The main purpose of this is
for their loved ones, especially the ones living far away, to be in the same place at once
and experience some warmth from one another. For example, when the Philippines is
celebrating something, Filipinos will throw parties and they just want to hang out with
their friends and family. If a Filipino hangs out with their family when the Philippines is
celebrating something, then their parents will ask them why they're not at a party.
Another characteristic of Philippine culture that affects Filipinos is how people
here can get annoyed or stressed quickly. This can happen when somebody bothers
them or does something that isn't what they are expecting. For example, a Filipino might
get stressed if their spouse is late or something happens that throws off their schedule.
In another example, if you ask an elderly person to do something and they say no, then
you should not ask again or else they will get annoyed by your persistence. There are also many kinds of jobs in the Philippines for different kinds of people.
There are plenty of job opportunities for those interested in working with the
environment and nature.
Philippine culture affects me in a way | can say that is quite good. | can see how
the culture affects a person and how it has been a part of their personality. For example,
when a person is in the Philippines, they usually want to hang out with other people
from their family and community and even me adapted that manner or behavior. They
want to share their experiences, especially if they are sad or something happened that
made them feel down. These kinds of feelings will then radiate throughout the family
and this encourages other people to be like that by sharing stories themselves with
each other. Another way Filipino culture affects me is through the matters of family
issues because I've been through it most of the time even though I don't want to.
