Physical Therapist’s Oath

Fully knowledgeable of my obligations as an allied medical practitioner, I pledge before our

Almighty God and in the presence of all, to provide my services as a physical therapist to all in
need of my skill and understanding regardless of race, creed, color, political affiliation, or social
status.

I will be aware of the rights and beliefs of my patients, and consider all information given to me
with utmost confidentiality and care.

I will uphold with highest regard the Code of Ethics applied to the physical therapy profession
and uphold the image of a professional practitioner. I further promise to impart empathy and
compassion to patients in all places and in all events in connection with my duty.

Lastly, I will always bear in mind the ultimate goal of the profession to return patients to their
highest attainable function regardless of my time, effort and wisdom. May the guidance of God
be with me.
 Pharmacist’s Pledge

With the strongest desire, the most robust determination and only the purest and noblest of
intentions, I__________________________, a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy graduate of
Mariano Marcos State University, pledge with wholehearted sincerity to exert all efforts in my
power to direct the pharmacy profession to the pedestal of greatness where it rightfully belongs
and to further reinforce the expertise and education I have gained from this institution for a more
vital process of clinging on to the tradition of excellence of having a professionally registered
identity.

And to uphold the advancement of this profession with vim and vigor;

I will commit my life to the finest service of rational drug therapy through the profession of
pharmacy;

I will serve the humanity as my commitment to the profession as I apply my knowledge, skills
and experiences to the utmost capacity;

I will stand by the ethical values of the profession and practice my rights with fair judgment and
without maltreatment;

I will keep on learning with enthusiasm and keep abreast in updates and developments of
pharmacy information for the continuity of honing and proving of drug expertise, and;

I will strive for excellence as the foundation for an optimum level of pharmaceutical care and

In full knowledge of the obligation I am undertaking, I promise before God and in the
presence of this assembly, to care for the sick with dedication and with the skill and
understanding I possess without regard to race, creed, color, politics or social status, sparing no
effort to conserve life, alleviate suffering and to promote health.

I will respect at all times the dignity and religious beliefs of the patients under my care,
holding in confidence all personal information entrusted to me and refraining from any action
which might endanger life or health.

I will endeavor to keep my professional knowledge and skill at the highest level and give
loyal support and cooperation to all members of the health team.

I will do my utmost to honor the International Code of Ethics applied to nursing and
uphold the integrity of the professional nurse.
