The age of solace

the age of solace or the age of elves is an incomplete history dating back to when the elven empire was
at it's strongest centuries before humans gathered in tribes and tamed fire. Much of this history has
been lost do to the genocide on the elves and the lack of other sentient creatures during most of this
age.
What is known is that the elves controlled a mighty empire in the west and they worshiped a gentle god
known as the tender. This ancient god watched over the elves and their lands not as a lord dose his
subjects but as a gardener dose his garden.

They planted the seeds of sentience and simply allowed the elves to grow only offering advance if it
was sought out though great peril to the questioner these was how the elves empire was for much of its
existence however things change as is the nature of the world.

The Elves continued to grow learning about the world and how to shape it as their tender had before
them and their god hide his worry and congratulated his seedlings on their ever growing skill and
knowledge.

However as their power grew so did their god's worry for when they created it was always for purpose.
Nothing was made simply to be and the time was coming when the elves would create their own seeds
the tender's fear did come true for when the elves crafted their first sentient it was made for a single
purpose to serve.

The tender had watched their beautiful seedlings sprout into weeds and his silence and unvoiced
disapproval of their actions had gone on for to long when the tender chose to act it was to late for his
seedlings had grown strong the result of their action was their sundering.

The elves slew their god when they came to tear down all they had achieved.
