RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR UOH FOOTBALL CUP AUCTIONS

1. 10 teams will fight for the trophy where 2 pools will be randomized (5 teams each pool).
2. Top 2 teams from both pools will qualify for semi-finals.
3. The tournament will be 7 a side and is unisex in nature.
4. The selection of teams will be based on auction which will be held on 21 March, 2022 at
7.30 pm sharp (Venue – Amenities Center).
5. All registered players are expected to be present at the for simplifying the auction process
and making the auctions easier for respective managers.
6. The auction rules are as follow:
➢ 9 managers will bid for registered player during auction.
➢ Each team compulsorily should have minimum of 10 players and maximum can go up
to 12 or 13 depending upon the virtual money available in the manager wallet.
➢ All players who have been auction will be eligible to play with their respective teams.
However, managers need to ensure that there are only 7 players at one time on the pitch.
➢ Managers will be given 1500 Rs each to buy/build their teams during auction.
➢ Managers who will only manage and are not playing, will be given Rs. 1700 in their
wallet (Rs. 200 additional money) during auction.
➢ The base price of each player will be Rs. 50. Every time the manager wants to raise the
bid, it will be raised by Rs. 20 for the given player.
➢ If a manager fails to form a team of minimum 10 players or run out of money, the
managers need to pick players from the unsold category.
➢ In such case, managers might not have any discretion and allotment of unsold players
to their teams will be done on random basis according to their respective position.
➢ The organizers/official decision will be final.
➢ All registered players need to pay Rs. 50 as entry fee to their respective managers after
auctions.
➢ The details/players list will be circulated to all where player name, email and position
will be available. The managers will receive a separate data sheet which will also
include player’s mobile number.
