Specialized Safety Systems
designed for the way you work.
DBI/SALA knows that while on the job you need
comfort, mobility and safety! We've designed
each component of our safety systems to be
fully customizable, ready to fit any size or
shape. And because every safety system provides
flexibility and full mobility, we make it easier to
keep working productively while remaining fully
protected.
With 25 years of fall protection expertise, we
offer the broadest line of safety equipment in
the industry; including harnesses, shock absorb-
ing lanyards, self-retracting lifelines, rescue and
‘A retrieval equipment, netting and more! We engi-
neer all safety systems to meet (and exceed)
sy every code! The DBI/SALA team works with you
i: to design and construct a system engineered for
maximum safety and comfort every time!
We also have a complete line of specialty items
0 address unique safety concerns and provide
safety solutions for challenging environments. For
example. flame-resistant Kevlar webbing har-
nesses and lanyards assure safety when working
around flame and excessive heat. Non-spark-
ingInon-conductive hardware offers the
protection you need while working in explosive
environments or when electrical conductivity is
an issue.
With our total safety systems approach,
DBI/SALA takes fall protection to a new level.
And to make sure you have total protection,
each one of our five basic systems typically
contains four safety components: a body
support, connecting component,
anchorage connector and anchorage.

Work positioning systems will hold and sus-
tain you at a specific work location, imiting
ny free fall to two feet or less. Rebar tying
and concrete wall-form work are typical
applications.
For maximum security, each work positioning
system includes a Delta No-Tangle™ full
body harness connected by a chain or web
rebar assembly, or a rope or web lanyard.
A workseat can also be added for additional
support. A carabiner or snap hook connee-
tor is used to fasten to the anchorage,
generally rebar or a support structure.

WWW.SALAGROURCOM safety systemsRestraint
Restraint systems prevent you from reaching an
area where a free fall could occur, Leading edge
roof work typically calls for a restraint system.
For body support you can use either a Delta-
No-Tangle™ full body harness or a body belt
that connects to a rope or web lanyard con-
necting component. For secure anchorage,
restraint systems use an anchorage connec-
tor such as an anchorage plate with a D-ring or
4 support structure that connects to the lanyard
with a carabiner or snap hook.

Suspension
Use a suspension system to support and hold
you without any possibility of a free fall while
you are being raised or lowered. Boatswain's
chair jobs, such as painting or window wash-
ing, are common examples.
DBI/SALA suspension systems provide total
safety with the Delta No-Tangle™ full body
hamess and a workseat or boatswain’s chair
as body support components. The con-
necting component is generally a
rescue-positioning device (RPD), Fisk
Descender™ or winch. The anchorage
connector can be a carabiner or tie-off
adapter; with anchorage from a tripod,
davit arm or support structure.
