Appointment of Yice-Chancellor of Tezpur Uniyersity (A Centrel University)

The Te4ur University is an institution of excellence in higher learning and research.

The Yice-Chancellor, being the academic as well as administrative head, is expected to


be:

A person possessing the highest level ofcompetence, integrity, morals and institutional
commiEnent is to be appointed as Vice-Chancellor. The person to be appointed as a
Vice-Chancellor should be a distinguished academician, with a minimum of tan yean'
of experience as Professor in a Univenity or ten years' of experience in a reputed
research and/or academic administrative organisation with proof of having
demonstrated academic leadership.

Preferably not more than 65 years ofage as on the closing date ofreceipt ofapplication
ofthis advertisement.

Salarv and Service Conditions

The post carries a pay ofRs. 2,10,000/- (Fixed) per month with Special Allowance of
Rs. I1250/- and other usual allowances.
