1. Data cannot be provided from one source or sink to another without being
processed first. Since the customer is a sink, no processes are involved, hence data
cannot be transferred immediately with food dispatch.
2. When the results of one processing step do not coincide with those of its inputs, this
results in a second type of DFD errors. There may be input flows during a processing
step but no output flows. A black hole is the name given to this circumstance.
Process 3 is receiving input from Process 2 and D2, but no output has occurred,
plainly indicating a black hole in this circumstance.
3. Without processing, data cannot be transferred straight from one data store to
another. Although it is implied that D3 transfers to D3 directly, this is incorrect
because no process is involved in the data transmission.
4. There may be input flows but also output flows in a processing step. This
circumstance is miraculous. Although Process 5 has an output to a sink, it didn't
appear to have any input. The wonder of this scenario is that there is no input.
