2. Explain the differences between Republican states and Monarchical states. (25mks)

3. Examine the merits and demerits of a unicameral legislature. (25mks)

4. With reference to suitable examples, account for the adoption of multi-party

system government in East Africa. (25mks)

5. Describe the functions of local government in any one country in East Africa. (25mks)

6. Describe the salient features of pre – colonial governments in East Africa. (25mks)

7. Examine the functions of the cabinet in any one government of East Africa. (25mks)

8. Explain the role of the court system in Uganda. (25mks)

9. Explain the importance of the police force in any one country in Easy Africa. (25mks)

10. To what extent did the East African Community (E.A.C) fulfill the aims of its founders?
