Transportation in South Korea 

The following means of transportation are


available in South Korea 
1. Cabs and other transfer services.
2. Streetcars.
3. Railroads.
4. Bus transportation.
5. Ferries.
6. Subway

Subway 
 The subway is the most practical and
efficient means of transportation in
Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Gwangju,
Incheon and Daejeon as it is fast, safe
and comfortable. 
 Destinations and information on the
subway are in English and Korean.

Buses 
  A regular intercity bus network connects virtually every city in the country.
  Buses with frequent stops are the cheapest way to travel around the country.
Taxi 
There are two types of taxi: 
 regular and luxury taxis. 
 Fares are determined by distance and
time. 
 Luxury black cabs are more comfortable
and offer better service and, of course,
are more expensive than regular cabs. 
 If the cab's "free" light is on, it means
the cab is available. 
 Most drivers do not speak English, so it
is important that you ask your hotel to

Table manners

-Koreans serve all food at once.

-They use numerous plates on the table from which everyone eats.

-You should use a hot towel to wash your hands.

-Place the hot towel on the table after you have used it.

-When there is an older person at the table, wait for the older person to begin eating first.

New Year's Day

-A ritual is performed at the family tomb to
