Fezziwig is portrayed as a kind, caring employer.

This is
shown when Dickens states, “No more work tonight,
Christmas Eve”. This implies that Fezziwig cares about
his workers and doesn’t want them working for
Christmas. As an employer he is the complete opposite
of Scrooge and presents all of the positive virtues that
Scrooge lacks as Scrooge complains that it is neither
"convenient" nor "fair" when Bob asks for Christmas off.
Dickens may have done this to highlight a different side
to capitalism.
