Glacier

A story inspired by Minecraft

Episode 1: Welcome to Glacier

In the great year of 800, the sun shines above the kingdom of Glacier. A kingdom
located in somewhere between Europe and Asia. Glacier is not just a normal Kingdom,
it’s a place full with power, wealth, fame and even magic. It’s a place where no
other people except for their own can enter. Only a few foreigners have been to the
wonderful place of Glacier but they were forced to not say anything about it. Even
in a place so fascinating, always has evil lurking within it. Monsters, enemies and
corrupt magic users have been a threat to the kingdom since the beginning. So the
kingdom cannot protect the citizens with just normal weapons, they use magical
weapons crafted from the same magic they were given from god. Many skilled fighters
are invited into the royal army but there are 6 frontmen whose skills are no match
for any normal human to beat. They are called the 6 frontmen of the army. There has
been many generations of the frontmen but this time, no one is chosen to be a
member of them. Until now.

A stranger walks into the markets of Glacier. The people in the market notices that
the stranger is not one of them. The people immediately informs the guards about
the stranger. 10 guards from the palace arrive to where the stranger is and
surrounds him.

Guard: Don’t move and identify yourself stranger.

Stranger: My name is Thomas Swan and my parents are Gerald Swan and Brenda Winters.
My father was a warrior in Glacier’s army. He was drafted to a war and met my
mother. Then he never came back to Glacier because he started his family. I’m here
to see the king and I don’t want to cause any trouble.

Guard: How did you get into Glacier? Our kingdom is heavily guarded.

Thomas: I had to come here with one of your weapon carriers. I apologize for
breaking in but it was the only way. Now can I please see the king?

Guard: So you’ve been in the weapon cart, do you have any weapons? Guards, let’s
apprehend him.

Thomas: You have to do this the hard way then?

The guards charge towards Thomas and he easily dodges the first few guards. One of
the guards try to jab Thomas with his spear but Thomas quickly grabs the spear from
his hand. Then he continues to stab the guard in the leg making him fall down. The
other three charges towards him but Thomas slides underneath them and slashes all
of their legs with his spear. All three of them fell down to the ground as they
cannot move. Thomas runs towards the guard with a shield and punches his neck to
paralyze him. Thomas takes his shield and blocks the sword attacks from the others.
Then he pushes the 2 guards to the wall with his shield. The guards got knocked
down and Thomas cuts a rope ontop of them so that the sack of sand falls of them.
Then he continues to throw his shield to the other guards and the shield hits one
while ricochets to the other one. They all gets knocked down only leaving one left.

Thomas: Now can I see the king?

Just then, a sound of a trumpet makes its way to the market. The king along with
his men arrive to the place in their horses.

The King: What seems to be the problem here?

The final guard bows down to the king and answers his questions.

Guard: My majesty, this stranger had broken into our Kingdom and asked to see you
my lord.

The King: What happened to all of the others?

Guard: Well my lord, we tried to capture him because he might be dangerous but he
beat all of us easily.

The king looks at Thomas.

The King: Impressive, tell me your name warrior.

Thomas: My name is Thomas Swan and my parents are Gerald Swan and Brenda Winters.
My father was a warrior in Glacier’s army. He was drafted to a war and met my
mother. Then he never came back to Glacier because he started his family. And I am
no warrior.

The King: Gerald Swan? He used to be my father’s best soldier. So you’re his son?

Thomas: Yes my lord.

The King: I am pleased to see you Thomas, my name is Richard Ohera. You may call me
Lord Ohera. Please, make yourself feel like home in Glacier.

Guard: But my lord, can we even trust him? We don’t have any thing to know about
him yet!

Lord Ohera: Silence! Take the other guards away for medical treatment. Thomas, I
invite you to my castle.

Lord Ohera gives Thomas one of his horses so that he can ride his way to the
castle. They start to ride their way to Lord Ohera’s castle. Oh the way, Lord Ohera
asks Thomas some questions.

Lord Ohera: So Thomas, Where did you learn how to fight like that? I mean, it’s not
easy to take down 10 guards with weapons. Especially without even a scratch on you.

Thomas: Please, you can call me Tom Lord Ohera. My fighting skills are nothing
special, I just learnt it from my father growing up. And not just my father, by my
mother’s people as well.

Lord Ohera: Of course your father would teach you how to fight. It’s not even to
survive in this cruel world. We are almost there to my castle and when we get
there, I want you to meet someone.

Tom: Who is it?

Lord Ohera: You’ll see.

They arrive at the castle as the draw bridge opens up for them. They continue to
get off from their horses and walk inside the castle.

Tom: Castle is wonderful Lord Ohera. It is nothing like I’ve ever seen.

Lord Ohera: Please, make yourself feel like home. As I said, I wanted to introduce
you to someone.
As Tom and Lord Ohera walk through the hallways, Tom hears swords clashing. They
arrive to a training area and sees two men training with swords.

Lord Ohera: Tom, I would like you to meet my son. Prince Kennith Ohera.

Thomas sees Prince Kennith train and he is able to put the other one to the ground.
The trainer gets back up and says goodbye to Kennith for the day. Prince Kennith
walks to his father and Thomas.

Kennith: Father, I have gotten better at sword combat. I was able to cut through 20
hay statues in 15 seconds.

Lord Ohera: You are getting better and better my son.

Prince Kennith: So Who is this person?

Lord Ohera: Son, please meet Thomas Swan. He is the son of your grandfathers best
soldier.

Kennith gives Thomas a handshake to greet him.

Prince Kennith: Pleased to meet you Thomas.

Tom: Please, just call me Tom.

Lord Ohera: My son is training to become one of the 6 frontmen. I believe that he
is skilled enough to be one of the members.

Tom: How many members are there now?

Lord Ohera: Zero but not anymore when my son becomes one.

Tom: But isn’t he just going to be one? There has to be 6.

Lord Ohera: That’s why I want you to become one of them.

Tom: But Lord Ohera, I just wanted to come to live in my kingdom because it feels
like the right thing to do.

Lord Ohera: And Yes, you will live here but don’t you think it’s more right to
become a humble warrior like your father? To protect your country from dangerous
threats. You can do more with those skills.

Tom: I’ll try to become one if I can.

Lord Ohera: You can but first you still have to prove yourself. Have you ever
fought Deadights and skeletons?

Tom: Yes, sometimes.

Lord Ohera: Good then come to the arena tomorrow morning. We will see if you are
truly worthy to become a frontmen or not. And as a bonus, I will give you two bags
full of gold as well.

Lord Ohera and Prince Kennith leaves as Lord Ohera orders one of his guards to give
Tom a house to live in. Tom goes to the house that Lord Ohera gave and slept for
the night.
Tomorrow came and Tom is ready to go to the arena. He rides his horse to the arena
and he gets there, he sees Lord Ohera waiting for him at the entrance. Tom Parker
his horse and walks up to Lord Ohera.

Lord Ohera: Welcome to the Royal Glacier Arena Thomas. Please follow me.

Lord Ohera escorts Tom to the preparing room where it’s filled with armors and
weapons.

Lord Ohera: Wear any armor as you like and only take two weapons of your choice.
You will have 15 minutes. Good luck.

Lord Ohera leaves the room and Tom begins to choose. He wears iron armor but he
leaves the helmet out. He looks through the line of weapons to choose the one he
lights. After a second, he finally gets his attention on an iron edged sword. He
takes the sword and a shield as he is ready to go out. He hears a trumpet playing
and a door opening into the arena. He walks out of his room and into the arena. He
looks up to the seats and sees that Lord Ohera and Prince Kennith are watching him
from the special seats. Then he hears other metal gates opening from other sides of
the arena. He see many deadights and skeletons walking out with weapons of their
own. Pillagers also walk out with crossbows. Tom stands there and gets into a
fighting stance as the trumpet plays again.

Tom: Alright, let’s go.

Episode 1 ending.

Episode 2: Unite

The group of enemies charge towards Tom and tried to attack him. Tom also charges
towards and lands his first hit on a deadight. He decapitates the first one and
continues to kick the head. The skeletons shoot arrows at Tom but he blocks them
with his shield. Tom pushes back the deadights with his shield and bashed all of
their skulls open by pushing them back to the wall. Another deadight swings its axe
at Tom but he blocks it with his shield. The axe went through the shield and it was
no longer good. So Tom throws the shield back at the deadight and continues to cut
its head off. Tom takes the deadights axe and runs to the skeletons. The skeletons
shoot arrows at him but Tom blocks them with his axe. He throws his sword at the
skeletons hitting 2 killing them. He swings his axe on the skeletons while they
reload. An arrow goes pass his face giving him a small slice. Pillagers shoot their
crossbows but Tom quickly takes the bow and arrow from the dead skeletons. He takes
aim and shoots at the pillager. A pillager gets pierced through the eye with an
arrow. Another one gets shot through his hand and Tom takes the chance to kill him.
Tom throws his axe to another pillager and attacks the other one with his bare
hands. He manages to beat the pillager to the ground and finishes him off by curve
stopping on his head. He takes his axe back and runs to a deadight to finish it
off. He does by cutting the half of its body. More deadights come out of the metal
doors. Tom runs towards them and immediately cuts the first ones jaws off. A
deadight bashes Tom with a shield but he quickly knocks down the deadight by
sliding its legs. Tom continues with a kick to the head while getting back up. He
takes his axe and slashes the deadights around him. Then he finishes the downed one
by stomping on its head. He takes a piece of the rib cage from the deadights
corpse. He uses the rib cage to stab one in the eye while using his axe to cut
another one behind him to half. A winged flying creature comes out of the cage and
attacks Tom but he dodges. He takes the crossbow and aims it at the flying
creature. The creature tries to escape by flying outside but it hits an invincible
border around the arena. Tom sees a potion bottle on a dead pillager and he
realizes that it’s a bottle of poison. Tom smashes the bottle with it’s arrow and
dips it. He takes aim again and he carefully shoots at the flying monster. The
arrow hits the flying monsters wings and the poison made the wings dissolve. The
flying creature falls down but it is not dead. It uses its legs to chase after Tom.
Tom runs to a wall and slides out of the way so that the monster hit its head. Tom
takes the chance and runs up to the monster with his axe charged. He jumps over an
edged rock while his axe is ready to kill the creature. The creature tries to block
the attack with its hand but Tom cuts through the hand with his axe and the axe
goes straight into it’s head. The trumpet plays again meaning that Tom is
victorious. Lord Ohera and Prince Kennith looks at him with impressed faces.

Prince Kennith: Impressive, that hand to hand combat and speed.

Lord Ohera: Guards, escort him out of the arena and give him 2 gold bags. And tell
him to come to the castle this evening.

Thomas takes off his armor and wipes the blood off his clothes. He puts the armors
and weapons back and a soldier comes to give him 2 bags full of gold. The soldier
continues to escort him to the outside.

Solider: My Lord has invited you to his castle, please come this afternoon.

The soldier walks away from Tom as he himself begins to walk to his house. On his
way, he sees kids trying to steal bread from the food shop. The shop owner kicks
the kids away and yells at them. Tom sees the kids run back to a corner of the
kingdom wall where there is a little shack. Tom walks up to the shack and sees the
kids crying inside because of hunger. Tom walks up to them and the kids looks at
him with fear.

Tom: Hey, Hey don’t be scared. I’m not gonna hurt you. My name’s Thomas, what’s
your name?

Little boy: My name is Dane and she’s Diana.

Tom: Are you guys siblings? Where’re your parents?

Dane: They died when they tried to save us from an attack from deadights.

Tom: I see, I’m sorry for your lost. Here take this bag of gold. Buy some food and
make sure to share with others too.

Dane: Th-thank you very much. I will never forget your kindness.

Tom gives the two one of the gold bag and walks away.

He continues to go back to his house to clean himself up. The afternoon comes and
he begins to ride his horse to the castle. When he arrives, the castle opens their
draw bridge for him. Some soldiers escort him to where Lord Ohera is waiting for
him. They take Tom to a library where Lord Ohera and Prince Kennith is waiting for
him.

Lord Ohera: Tom, I am very impressed after what you just did in the arena. You
truly is a very skilled warrior. Please let me show you something.

Lord Ohers shows Tom an enchanting table with hundreds of books around it. A
sorcerer is also standing in the middle of the room.

Lord Ohera: Tom, you and my son will pick your weapons that you will be using for
the rest of your life. The sorcerer will guide and help you. Choose wisely my
warriors. I will give you some time.

Lord Ohera leaves the room so with his soldiers.

Tom: So what now?

Prince Kennith: So we do as he says. Let’s choose our weapons. Sorcerer will guide
us.

Sorcerer: Indeed I will. Please come with me.

The sorcerer moves his hand around and the bookshelves move as a room full of
diamond weapons appear. Tom and Prince Kennith look at the secret armory with
surprise.

Tom: Prince Kennith, do you know about this?

Prince Kennith: I’ve been living in this castle since the day I was born but yet, I
have not seen anything like this. And just call me Ken.

Sorcerer: Chooses two weapons of your choice. One is to use for now and the other
is for much higher threats.

Tom looks at the row of weapons and begins to choose his first. He goes through the
line of axes and gets his attention on a battle axe. But he sees something more
appealing to him. A diamond combat axe put in the corner gets his attention. Tom
picks it up and carefully looks at it. The axe’s edges and a small part of the
middle are made of sharp, strong diamonds. He finally chooses the axe and gives it
to the sorcerer.

Sorcerer: So you have chosen your first weapon. Go ahead and choose your second.

Ken looks through the line of swords and sees a diamond Sabre. Like the diamond
axe, the Sabre has diamonds covering the side and edge. Kenny takes the weapon and
gives it to the sorcerer. The sorcerer asks Kenny to take a secondary weapon.

Tom tries to find something that he will use but he can’t find one. Right as he is
about to give up finding the weapon of his choice, he finally sees one. He sees a
diamond royal sword that he likes a lot. He takes it and gives it to the sorcerer.

Sorcerer: So you have chosen your weapons.

Ken looks through a row of multiple weapons and he sees a one sided diamond axe. He
feels that that the axe was made for him so he takes it to the sorcerer.

Sorcerer: All of you are set. I will enchant these weapons with different abilities
depending on your truest form. I’m start off with Thomas.

The sorcerer opens up the enchanting table as a book comes floating out on the top.
The sorcerer puts Tom’s axe on top of the book and starts speaking magical words.

Sorcerer: With thy power of thy ancients! May this weapon turn into more than just
a weapon, but into thy holy hands.

The sorcerer begins to put enchantments into Tom’s axe.

Sorcerer: Enchantments shall be put in! The strong strength of Smite 4, the spirit
of unbreaking 3, the fast hand of efficiency and the never ending mending!

The sorcerer finishes enchanting the axe and moves on to Tom’s sword.

Sorcerer: May this sword be filled with it’s fullest potential! The dangerous fury
of Sharpness 4, the burning feelings of fire aspect 2, the spirit of unbreaking 3
and the never ending mending!

The sorcerer finished enchanting and the weapons glow bright blue light. Then the
sorcerer continues to enchant Ken’s weapon’s as well. He starts off with the
diamond Sabre.

Sorcerer: May this weapon be filled with the power of thy holy. The dangerous fury
of sharpness 3, the quick shivers of sweeping edge 3, the undying spirit of
unbreaking 3!

He continues to enchant the one sided axe.

Sorcerer: May this weapon be your truest form. The unbarring brute of Smite 5, the
undying spirit of unbreaking 3, the holy speed of efficiency 3 and the redeemable
mind of Mending!

The sorcerer finishes the enchanting and right as they are about to take their
weapons, the stronger ones disappear into thin air.

Ken: What happened? Where did they go?

Sorcerer: You are not ready to wield your powerful weapons yet. Time will come but
for now, use your first weapons.

Tom: What do you mean by that?

Sorcerer: You will learn.

The sorcerer walks out of the room but Tom and Ken are still confused.

Tom: So what did he mean about us being not ready?

Ken: I don’t have an answer for that but I guess we’ll find out when time comes.

They take their weapons and leave the room as they see Lord Ohera waiting for them
with his guards.

Lord Ohera: The sorcerer took away your powerful weapons right? Don’t worry, you’ll
reclaim it some day.

Ken: Yes father and you told me that you have something important to say?

Lord Ohera: Indeed, I have something important to say. Meet Sir Shane Dahan.

Tom: Pleased to meet you, my name’s Thomas Swan but you can call me Tom.

Lord Ohera: Kennith knows him as my best guard and he will be another member of the
frontmen.

Ken: But has he chosen his own enchanted weapons?

Lord Ohera: He already has, much more earlier than you. It’s because there is an
attack coming. I didn’t have time to search for more frontmen but luckily I found
Tom. And it’s still just three.

Ken: How big is the attack going to be?

Lord Ohera: Very dangerous and maybe one of the most dangerous we have ever fought.
That’s why i’m sending 3 of you on a mission early.

Tom: What is the mission?

Lord Ohera: You three will go to the outer villages of the kingdom at the south
part. There have been reports that the people there are going through many threats.
The will give Shane the map and you will get prepared. Shane and Prince Kennith
will take you there to prepare some more Tom. Good luck.
They leave the room as Shane and Kennith lead the way to the royal armory.

Shane: Take whatever you want and need. Always make sure to bring your horse. If
you don’t have one, we’ll give you one.

Tom: Don’t worry, I already have my horse. I’ll just take whatever I think I need.

Shane: We have 10 minutes, let’s hurry up.

Tom looks around and takes a bow with a quiver of arrows. He doesn’t take any armor
but he still takes armor for his horse. Tom also take a weapon carrier for his Axe.
Ken takes some arm pads and knee pads to arm himself a little bit. He also takes a
belt to put potion bottles in. Shane wears his royal armor and takes a crossbow
with arrows. They finished preparing and heads to where their horses are. Tom puts
on the armor for his horse but the other 2 already has the armor on their horse.
They all get on their horse and the draw bridge opens up for them. They set out to
the south part of the outside village. As they are riding on their horse, they see
bright light coming towards the woods.

Ken: We’re close. They say that it’s dangerous there. Keep your heads up and stay
sharp.

Episode 2 ending.

Episode 3: Attack and Defend

They continue to ride their way to the village where an attack is happening. As
they get closer, they see dead corpse of deadights and other guards of the village.

Shane: The body doesn’t seem to be cold so it must have happened not too long ago.

They go into the village and they strangely doesn’t see anyone around. A camp fire
is burning bright in the middle of the village but no one is around.

Tom: Something’s wrong, it’s too quite.

Ken: I see something in the Tower on the left.

They all look up at the tower and sees a bunch of Pillagers aiming their crossbows
at then. They immediately move out of the way on their horses to safety. They jump
off their horses and takes out their weapons. The pillagers shoot their crossbows
but they hid behind a boulder. When the pillagers begin to reload, Tom takes the
chance and shoot them with his own bow. His arrows hit 3 of the pillagers but it
was not enough. Ken and Shane move places and run into a house. Tom runs towards
the tower and makes his way inside. As he gets in, he is greeted by a vindicator
with an axe. Tom doesn’t waste any time and continues to take his axe out as well.
The vindicator attacks him but Tom manages to knock him back to the wall. He takes
the chance to slice the vindicator into his chest killing him. When Shane and Ken
are in the house, they hear some people calling for help. They look around and see
a bunker door with a lock on it. Shane breaks the lock with his iron spear and
opens it. They find out that some of the villagers are trapped in there. The
villagers scream thinking that they’re going to die.

Ken: It’s okay, we’re not gonna hurt you. What happened here?

Villager: A lot of pillagers raised our village just 2 days ago and they have
locked us up here ever since. They killed all of our guards. They haven’t given us
any food or water for 2 days. There was something strange about the pillagers. Some
of them had magic.

Ken: Magic you say? Don’t worry, we’ll get you out of here after we take care of
the pillagers. You just wait here Alright?

Shane: Magic? We’re going to have to help Tom right now.

Back at the Tower, Tom sneakily climbs up the stairways. He hears some pillagers
coming down so he gets ready to charge. 2 pillagers come down and right as they do,
Tom quickly kicks one down the stairs. The he proceeds to block the attack from the
other with his axe. He cuts the pillagers hand off and kicks him down the stairs as
well. Tom continues to go up the stairs and he makes it to the top. He peaks at the
pillagers and he sees a lot of them. He sneaks up to one near the balcony and kicks
him down. It made the other pillagers know Tom was there and everyone starts to
attack him. Tom charges at the pillager group and decapitates 2 of them at once. He
slides down to dodge the arrows and knocks down a few of them with the slide. He
continues to slice the pillagers legs off with his axe. He cuts off 3 downed
pillagers legs with his axe. He gets back up and throws his axe at more pillagers.
The axe penetrates through one’s torso and goes through to kill another one. Tom
quickly takes out his bow and shoots it faster than the pillagers could. His arrows
kills some pillagers but it wasn’t enough. A vindicator comes up and tries to slash
Tom. He dodges and hits the vindicator with his bow. He continues to break the
vindicatora hand and takes his axe. He uses the vindicator’s axe to finish him. A
pillager bashes Tom but he threw the axe at the pillager and it made him fall of
the balcony. The other pillagers shoot at him again but Tom knocks down a table and
takes cover behind it. As the pillagers are walking towards him, an arrow goes
through one’s head. Shane shoots his crossbow from the stairs to the pillagers. Ken
comes up and slashes some of the pillagers. Vindicators try to attack him but he
blocks them with his shield. Shane takes out his iron spear and kills the pillagers
surrounding Tom.

Tom: Well, took you long enough.

Shane: I apologize about that but we found the missing villagers. They’re trapped
in the house we went in and we’ll get them to safety after this. I see you did a
lot yourself too, great job.

Tom: Yeah thanks. Let’s finish them.

Tom runs to the pillager corpse where his axe is at but a pillager shoots at him.
He dives into the air to dodge the arrow and when he gets back down to the ground,
he takes his axe back. Then he cuts the pillager’s hand off while he was reloading.
Tom finishes him by kicking him off the balcony. Ken stabs two vindicators with his
Sabre and bashes another one with his shield to throw him off the tower. Shane
finishes off the last one by jabbing his spear into their body. They think they
have finished off everyone but they hear chanting from behind. They look back and
sees an evoker making an energy ball in his hands.

Tom: Everybody get down!

The evoker shoots the energy ball at them and it explodes in impact. The impact
knocks them away and makes them fall off the balcony. While they’re falling, Ken
takes out a bottle of levitation. He throws the bottle to the ground and the splash
from the bottle becomes smoke. The smoke goes up into the three giving them some
time to levitate before hitting the ground. They slowly touch the ground without
getting harmed.

Tom: Nice save.

Ken: Yeah, you’re welcome.

The evoker himself floats down from the tower to where the three is. The three take
out their weapons and gets ready to attack.

Evoker: You should get out of here while you can.

Tom: There’s no way in hell we’re getting out of here just yet.

Evoker: Have it your way then!

The evoker waves his hands around making the ground to shake. Spikes come out of
the ground but the three had great reflexes. Ken charges at the evoker and tries to
hit him but the evoked blasts him away. Tom runs up to the evoker and gives him a
good slice with his axe. The evoker stomps the ground making a giant rock to pop
up. The evoker uses the rock to bash Tom with it. Shane shoots his crossbow at the
evoker and some missed but some hit him. The evoker summons small flying angels
with small swords. The angels attack Shane with their swords. Shane manages to kill
most of them by swinging his spear around but the evoker used the chance to blast
Shane with his energy orbs. Tom does a whistle to call his horse to him. His horse
quickly arrives and Tom tells it to bash the evoker. The evoker gets distracted by
Ken. Tom’s horse charges up to the evoker and bashes him with the heaviest force it
has. The evoker gets knocked down to the ground and Tom shoots at the evoker with
his bow. The arrows go through the evokers hands and pins him to the ground.

Evoker: No! I will not lose to some idiots with weapons.

Tom: You sure about that?

Tom continues to shoot the evokers legs so that he can’t get up. As Tom is about to
finish him, Ken stops him.

Ken: Wait! We have to ask him some questions.

Tom: Alright, go ahead.

Ken: Go and save the villagers in the house.

Ken points his Sabre into the evokers back as he asks the questions.

Ken: Tell me where you learned those types of magic? A normal evoker couldn’t use
black magic.

Evoker: I will never tell you!

Ken: Have it your way then!

Ken starts to jab his Sabre into the evokers back making him feel a horrible pain.

Evoker: Ahh! You think that will be enough to get words out of my mouth?

Ken: I was just making sure to make the wound big enough!
Evoker: For what?

Ken takes out a potion of poison from his belt. He starts to pour the poison into
the evokers wound to make him hurt a 100 times more.

Ken: Now tell me right now before the poison slowly eat away your body. I’ll cure
you if you tell me.

Evoker: Ahhh! It’s the same magic as the Entity’s and I learned from them.

Ken: Tell me where the group is? And is the Entity back on the world.

Evoker: Ye-Yes! The group is somewhere in the west part of the kingdom just near

Ken: Thanks a lot.

Ken walks away from the evoker leaving him to die.

Evoker: Wh-what are you doing? Aren’t you going to cure me?

Ken: Yeah, sorry about that. I never know what you’ll do if you’re free, especially
l someone evil like you. You’ll die in the next 10 seconds.

Evoker: Screw you, you bastards! You’ll never escape the great darkness! They will
rule everything!

The evoker dies in the ground after the poison fully infected his body. Tom comes
back with the villagers that were trapped.

Shane: Is that all of the villagers?

Tom: It’s all of them. We’ll get them back to the kingdom. We’ll be there by dawn
but all we have to do is to protect them from other threats on the way.

Shane: Let’s go.

They get on their horses and lead the way to the kingdom while the villagers follow
them from behind.

Villager: When will we get there? Will we be safe there?

Shane: Don’t worry, you’ll be safe there.

Just as they’re in their way, a villager screams out of nowhere.

Villager: There’s a horde of monsters behind!

The three look back and sees a horde of monsters including Deadights, skeletons and
creepers.

Shane: I’ll go on to the back to kill some monsters, find a way to get the
villagers faster he kingdom.

Shane gets off his horse and puts some of the kids on his horse. Then he makes his
horse follow Tom and Ken. Shane runs to the back and starts to slay some deadights.
Tom tries to think about an idea to get the villagers to move faster but he can’t
carve out one.
Ken: I have a plan.

Ken takes out a bottle of speed from his potion belt.

Ken: I can use this on the villagers to make them faster.

Tom: Why didn’t you use that in the first place?

Ken: I was saving it for a much bigger time but I guess this is it.

Ken throws the bottle on the villagers giving them faster speed. Ken tells the
villagers to continue following them.

Tom: What about Shane?

Ken: The villagers are more important.

Tom: You go ahead with the villagers. I’m going to aid Shane.

Tom rides his horse back to where Shane is and shoots his arrow to some monsters.
He rides his horse closer to Shane and Tom gives him his hand. Shane grabs on to
his hand and gets up to the horse.

Shane: Thanks, what about the villagers?

Tom: Don’t worry about them. Ken is leading them the way back.

They ride on their horse but the horde of monsters were too many. A giant deadight
appears out of the deep forest and chases after the two. Shane aims his crossbow at
the giant deadight and shoots but it barely tickled it.

Shane: That thing is getting closer and closer to us!

Tom: You take control of the horse. I’ll take care of this.

Shane and Tom switch places and Shane takes control of the horse while Tom tries to
figure out a plan. The giant deadight throws a creeper at the two but Tom shoots
the creeper away before it can explode. As they’re riding in the horse, Tom sees an
almost cut down tree on their way. Tom takes out his axe and he gathers his
strength. The horde of monsters are almost about to catch on to the two. Tom swings
his axe to the tree, cutting the tree instantly. The tree falls as the other trees
fall with it blocking the path. The horde of monsters eventually stops following
them as they cannot go further.

Shane: Great move! Now let’s catch up with Ken.

Tom: The sun is almost up.

They continue ro ride the horse back to the kingdom. They see Ken’s horse and the
villagers.

Ken: You’re alive, good. We.’de almost at the entrance.

When they get to the entrance, they see that it has been destroyed. They
immediately rushes into the castle with the villagers. They see Lord Ohera waiting
for them.

Ken: Father, what happened?

Lord Ohera: Some magic users and some rouges attacked the front part of the
kingdom. The soldiers tried to defend but many of them lost their lives. But I see
that you completed your mission.

Shane: The villagers need to get medical treatment and food right now.

Lord Ohera orders his men to take the villagers to the nursery.

Ken: We has to fight an evoker as well. Not just an ordinary one, he used black
magic.

Lord Ohera: Black magic!? So it is true of what the soldiers said after the attack.
Thomas and Shane, you will head to the west part of the outside kingdom. Many of
the people saw the rouges traveling to the west part where the white dove is
located at.

Ken: What about me, father?

Lord Ohera: You must stay this time my son. We need to do get to the supreme
meeting. Thomas and Shane, you have some time to rest before going to the west side
and go prepared again.

Tom: Understood, Lord Ohera.
