Guidelines
• Z3NITH’22 will be a hybrid event and is scheduled to be held on 6th-8th August 2022.
• Each school should register online in ONE go through the registration link.
• We will be accepting independent registrations from school students for the following events: HackX. CodeX.
BuildX. & Cicada 3311.
• The team of participants registering independently are required to attach a copy of their School Identity Card
while registering for logistical purposes.
• Online Registrations will be done on “first come, first served” basis.

• We will also be posting updates on our website, www.z3nith.tech and Instagram handle.
• The schedule specified should be strictly adhered to. No extra time will be provided if any member of the participating team surpass-

• The entry submission guidelines with deadlines for various competitions has been specified on specific event pages.
• Submissions must not violate any third party rights, including, but not limited to, copyrights, trademark rights, or rights of privacy and
publicity; contain defamatory statements; include threats to any person, place, business, or group; or be obscene, explicit or indecent.
• Decisions of the organisers, coordinators and jury members regarding any issue related to Z3NITH’22 will be final and binding on all
schools and participants.
• Although the host school will be participating, they will not be competing for the Overall Trophy, the Z3NITH CUP.
• In all events except Race to Ace, participating schools will be competing for first and second position while the gaming event would
have only one winner.
• Results will be announced in the closing ceremony which will be premiering on the club’s official YouTube channel, Futurz Club AF-
GJI, at 1000 hours on Monday, 8th August, 2022.
• The winning participants will receive their certificates by 16th August, 2022.
• All participants will receive a participation certificate.
• All the certificates will be mailed to the email ID mentioned while filling participation forms.

• The event would commence from 6th August, 0900 IST Onwards.
• The participants would be given various themes based on real-world problems from which they would try to unravel the theme of
their choice by innovating feasible solutions.
• The themes would be released on the spot on the Discord Server at 0915 IST on 6 August.
• The event would have two elimination rounds and one presentation round.
• Each team would be assigned a private channel in the servers that only they, the judges and the coordinators would have access to.

ELIMINATION ROUND 1
• The team of participants would be sent a Google Form at 1015 IST that they will be required to fill by 1115 IST, August 6 answering ques-
tions regarding the abstract, and the team’s own interpretation of the theme and what the team is planning to do,
• The list of teams that qualify for Round 2 would be released by 1230 IST, 6th August.
• Judgement Criteria: Innovation, Relevance & Overall Impact

ELIMINATION ROUND 2
• For Round 2, the shortlisted participants are required to create a presentation and submit it latest by 1700 IST on the Google Form
the coordinators would be providing at 1230 IST.
• The presentation should lay out the SWOT framework and further answer how the solution is capable of solving the given theme,
why the solution is better than other available solutions, what benefits the general public can avail as the user of the proposed solu-
tion, etc.
• The list of teams that qualify for the final round would be released at 2000 IST, 6th August.
• Judgement Criteria: Business Value, Real World Feasibility, Originality & Team Management

PRESENTATION ROUND
• The participants who have made it to the final round would have to develop and present the prototype of their solution in front of the
judges, and demonstrate it’s working.
• The solutions should be in the form of any one or combination of the following technological mediums, app, web application, bot, or
extension.
• The presentation round would take place at 1100 IST, 7th August.
• Each team would have 3 to 5 minutes to present their solution, exceeding the time limit would result in point deduction.
• The presentation would be followed by a Q/A Round by the judges based on all the information, facts and figures presented through-
out the event.

• An online cryptic hunt where participants will be pitted against each other in a race to decrypt the hints and clues.
• The event will commence on 6th August at 1000 IST and will conclude at 2200 IST, spanning over the lapse of 12 hours. Participants
are supposed to be available throughout the course of 12 hours.
• The hunt would cover themes of pop culture, current affairs and tech events.
• It is mandatory for participants to join the Discord Server as questions will be released on the server itself.
• The team would have to DM the answer to the coordinator in-charge.
• Points will be awarded based on the time taken to answer and be displayed on a leaderboard which will be updated and shared with
the participants at regular intervals.
• The participants would be briefed about further details in an orientation session before the event’s commencement.
• Any of the participants, if found sharing answers or exclusive hints online will be immediately disqualified.
• Respect the organisers’ judgement and decisions. Any kind of toxic behaviour, unnecessary arguments or abuse at any point during
and/or before the event will not be tolerated.

• The event will last for 10 hours.
• Participants would have 40 minutes at hand from the announcement of the topic to create the meme and upload it on the Google
Form the coordinators would be providing. Late submissions will not be accepted.
• Participants can use any software to create the meme.
• Memes can be submitted in .jpeg, .png or .mp4 formats.
• The duration for a meme in .mp4 format should NOT exceed 10 seconds.

selves and not computer generated.
• The duration of the video should be 3-4 minutes.

• Software Minimum Requirements

• A gaming related quiz will be conducted in the first round. The quiz will be solely based on computer/mobile/electronic games. One
player from each team will represent the team to take the quiz. Top 24 teams from the quiz will qualify for the next round.
• The second round will consist of two Valorant death matches (12 teams in each) where one player from each team will play. The
teams at the bottom 4 from each death match will be eliminated. The remaining 16 teams from the deathmatches will qualify for the
tournament.
• All the matches in the tournament will be knockouts except the finals which will be a best of 3.
• The Discord Server link has been given in the General Guidelines. Only the registered participants would get the access to the gam-
ing channel after verification. Participants are requested to join the server at least two days prior to the event with their real names.
• The event spans over the period of 2 days. The schedule will be laid out in advance on the Discord Server itself. Timings will be fixed,
no change in schedule will be entertained afterwards.
• During verification, participants are also requested to post their in-game ID’s below their real name and only registered accounts will
be allowed to join the tournament custom. If any unregistered account joins the custom lobby, they will be kicked out instantly and
the suspected team will be given a warning.
• The use of any kind of hack and/or aimbot is strictly prohibited.
• Respect the organisers’ judgement and decisions. Any kind of toxic behaviour, unnecessary arguments or abuse at any point during
and/or before the event will not be tolerated.
