arrangement arrangement by Jos. P. Katz, N.Y, 1921 in the Soviet Yiddish Anthology of Y. Dobrushin
and A. Yudatski, it appears as an anonymous song with additional stanza about the longings of a girl
and a boy for each other.

Translation:

An angel weeps and covers the grass with dew. My beloved, I yearn so for you. My bed is made with
down, but I lie on straw. The night was filled with waiting and the gray dawn arrives.
