Items, Definitions and References

This is the main reference point for the majority of the info in the guilde and will explain short
forms I use. I also provide direct links to the websites that do great work for the community

● New World Database Easily the strongest sourcing and information tool for New World
and the majority of direct hyperlinks in this guide will send you here.

● New World Fans Also a very strong tool for sourcing and finding information.

● New World Hub Has great guides. I only reference it for the dungeons but it is also a
solid tool for information.

A note about both of these fan-made websites is that they provide a lot of the same information
in different ways and graphs. My personal preference is NWDB but everyone is different and you
will find a ton of value on both of these sites. Thank you to the creators and supporters of both
you will be an asset to all of us in New World and They both also have Discords you can join
from their websites.

Interactive Resource Maps

There are simply 2 interactive maps. One was created by New World Database and one
was created by New World Fans. In my personal opinion they are both very strong but are good
for different things and different people. You should use both maps to get the most out of New
World

New World Databases map is extremely good and provides a simple way to find the named boss
monsters, which is invaluable at later stages of the game for elite and boss farming. It also
provides a MUCH SMOOTHER interface

Upon scrolling in you can see mob areas the level requirements

Now to talk about the New World Fans Map I find that the area tracking being colour coded and
telling you if it is a group area is a very valuable feature and it will help you decide if you are solo
to avoid the party areas or if you are with a group to go grind the areas the solo players cannot.

Both have the ability to do most of the same things gathering and hunting wise just slightly
differently and I think using both of these maps to your advantage will provide layers of
knowledge that will keep you on track.

New Player Tips and Tricks

As a new player New World can be very overwhelming and rather confusing.
Instead of rushing, take the time to understand the controls. They are very simple and if
you are the type that needs a leveling guide that will be in the next section. To make sure
you are not confused the best thing to do is constantly open your map (M) to get your
bearings. The quests will guide you on where you need to be and when you approach
quest objectives they have an eerie blue fire glow to them.
Quick Notes:
- Sitting or going Prone(laying down) Hides your name useful in bushe but will
drown you in water
- Don’t equip a shield unless you are using the short sword it does nothing but
weigh you down and provides 0 benefit unless it is equipped in your main hand.
- Gather the items to craft roasted potatoes +1000 Mining luck for 10 minutes. Go
farm stone for the item (Roasted Potatoes). This will let you automatically craft a
bag with +50 weight scaled with item level. You can use higher tier materials to
make the bag have a higher base item level and doing this will allow you to craft
- Small rested bonuses for logging out in town
- Equipping Potions, Food and Ammo removes their weight penalty
- Rear attacks are always crits 100% Critical chance modifier
- SALVAGE EVERYTHING you do not equip or intend to list on the Marketplace. Do
not sell it to vendors as you will need repair parts later on.
- Fast traveling by death to tent no longer works outside of 400m
- Azoth is easier to obtain as of OBT so fast traveling is a lot more viable
- If you dodge (Shift + Direction) and swap weapons it cancels the draw animation
- (=) is auto run. You can rebind it
- If you want to level with friends, meet at the Fisherman - it all converges there
anyways.
Strength and Character Improvement
1. Always have the highest Item level possible this will make you stronger and get you
better drops because of the way world scaling works.
2. Make sure you have a proper build so you are not lost. There are alot of great starter
builds here that will be relevant all throughout the game.
3. Have the correct stats so that you are not a wet noodle.
4. Gem your gear whenever you can these provide really solid bonuses
5. You can change the skills slots they are in by pressing k and clicking on the buttons
they are bound to.
6. When in groups make sure you are always loot sharing so that way you don’t miss out
on a massive upgrade.
7. Stats come from leveling up and gear you will want a good balance of your main stat
and constitution at every stage of the game. Unless you are the 1 shot god then go
ahead and int all your points into whatever your main weapon is.
8. You can change the stats on faction gear by taking them to the tailor, putting the item in
your inventory and buying a stone from your faction vender with the color that you need
ex. Red = Str (Note if you have it equipped it won’t appear as an option)

Leveling Guide
There are many theories on exp grinding and which path to take in this I only care
about the fastest way to 60 to enjoy the endgame which is where the real fun is in any
MMO I will give you my summary of 1-60 and how I will be getting it but I will also link
more in depth guides for the people that need step by step guides. These are very well
done and if I end up getting stuck due to an unlisted change even I will be referencing
them.

1-60
Follow the main story quest as a reference point. They buffed it’s exp and
every time you return to town make sure you grab all side quests and a set of faction
quests. Make sure you get ahead of the pack so the slow respawning single entities
you need for quests are not a timegate.

You will need roughly 30 million exp to get from 1-60.

1-25 Best step by step guide written by Bretty & Studee developed by Navak and Ayle
My guide does not really reference this at all but it is a good place to go if you need
absolute direction. (Note: This has plans for 1-60).

1-5
- Skip tutorial load in wait for rp to finish then (Press Escape -> Click Game Menu -> Click
Skip to New world

5-10
- Start your main story quests at the first NPC while questing to the first town, craft all flint
tools and gather 16 hide 40 wood and 40 stone.

10-15
- You should be roughly level 9-10 by the time you get to the first town this is where you
will pick your company Covenant, Marauders, Or Syndicate. After you join a faction you
can join a company. Here following the main quest introduces side quests, town board
and crafting stations. If you gathered the earlier materials you can auto complete the
quest to receive iron bars. After you finish this quest you can choose to craft a few iron
tools or a Weapon + 1 tool in most cases outside of Great Axe and War Hammer.
- You will also want to start gathering at this stage at least until your lifeskills are level 30
for future quests

15-18
- If you haven't gotten your life skills to 30 yet, go hard and focus on harvesting until level
30 so you can gather this quest. Here is one of the main gates to slow down your
questing so rounding it out is really important as this will allow you to craft the
corruption tinctures and continue your main story quest to craft Azoth staff.

- If you get stuck at level 17 just go do a few town board quests or faction quests to round
it out. You can also grind mobs but mobbing exp is fairly low early game.
- You will also need to level mining to 10 to get the silver to craft your azoth staff.

18-23
- At this stage your goal is to do the main quest line and complete your Azoth Staff
- At level 20 you can equip your faction weapon so make sure you do this. It is a massive
boost for damage and will speed up your leveling obtained through faction points from
doing faction quests.
- At level 23 you can get all of the side quests for Amirine (The Expedition) including the
main story quest this is a massive amount of exp you can only do the dungeon as many
times as you have hearts/orbs/keys whatever you want to call them 5 people = 5 keys
just from story

23-25
- You can choose to continue spamming Amirine (Difficulty Easy). The exp actually is
pretty decent with the repeatable claws quest, I personally will run it one time to collect
rewards then continue my main story. This also provides decent gear.
- The reason I will move on after one run is to do faction quests and get faction tokens to
turn in for a full shiny set of faction gear. This will be the highest guaranteed item level.
You can be at level 25 and will hard carry you even until roughly level 32 where you will
get random upgrades from the world again.
- These quests should get you to 25

25-33
- Continuing the main quest and all sides you will quickly get to level 30 while pushing
north
- At this point Elite chests start becoming valuable if you come across ANY CHEST while
leveling you should pick it up as they provide items you cannot get anywhere else.
- It should not be very difficult to rinse and repeat. Gathering and refining materials is also
a good source of exp at this stage and was buffed by about 50% in OBT

33-40
- You will be coming up on Starstone Barrows (Difficulty Medium) our second
Expedition/Traditional Dungeon. You will need the keys again for this and at 33 you
should have most of the quests I know of unlocked for it
- At this stage of the game farming an Elite area in a group is one of the faster ways to
level alongside Corrupted Portals
- You must continue the MAIN STORY you cannot slack on it as it will just cause you to
backtrack later
- At level 35 you should be able to unlock your next tier of faction weapons, Make sure you
do as this is a massive boost for you

40-50
- My fav option here is corrupted portal grind its easily the best
- Boars are the real sleeper here and can get you to 52 faster than anything if you’ve read
this far you can get me on twitch or youtube for the secret tech.
- NWDB (Filter -> Hide all -> Dungeon Area)
- New world fans (Filter-> Hide all -> Areas -> Select all)
- You can also choose to continue spamming town board/faction quests

- If you are unlucky in The depths make sure you go farm out a full set of faction gear it
should be available at level 40

50-55
- Keep doing main story quest
- Side quests become a lot more prominent now and give much better rewards try not to
skip them
- Corrupted portals in the great cleave insane xp and easy pvp missions.
- Faction quests you can also get your level 50 weapon at this stage again massive dps
boost.
- Most importantly the 2 main spots to farm here will be Scorpius located in Mourningdale

- Lower Svikins stand located in Shattered Mountains. Some people grinded these
straight to 60

55-60
- Do all of the side quests in ebonscale reach for a free 255 weight bag and an extra
tuning orb for dynasty shipyard. This quest gives 35k exp.
- Now you can continue to just hard Elite grind and I will link the places to go
- The great cleave these mountains can easily take you to 60

- Shattered mountain Upper Sviken

- Additionally don’t sleep on side quests or lifeskilling, you will have to backtrack and do
these things anyways in the future
- At this stage you should easily be able to get 60 by grinding. If you don’t want to grind
just life skill and do faction/sides/townboard and you'll get there eventually.
- Notable thing if you made it here, at weapon level 20 you can get a legendary 580 Ilvl
weapon that may be best in slot (debatably) based on the affixes it has.
- Anything I may have missed may be in Cross’s guide; he is a personal friend and this also
has a lot of solid information that you may find useful for leveling.
- For anything else Fusion Thunder’s Video is very good on talking about all of these spots

Gearing and Endgame

These things are one and the same. The better gear you have the better endgame
experience you will have. This will give you a general walkthrough of what you should
expect to be doing at max level
TLDR: Crafted gear is bis there's other stuff too.

1. Having more GOLD will allow you to circumvent most of the early game
processes just by buying whatever you need. Some of the rarer materials you may
struggle to get early on will only be available by people listing them for absurd prices so
put your money up.

2. First set of Endgame gear will be level 60 faction gear at 525 for the blues and
550 for the purples this is a great starter set and only costs some faction tokens and
gold low effort high reward. You will have to complete your promotion quests but
because these give really high exp you should have done them anyways.

3. Endgame Super Weapons are 580 LEGENDARY Quest Weapon but it requires
you to have weapon level 20 for the weapon you are going for if you were grinding Elite’s
your weapon exp should have hit 20 on 1 if not both slots depending on how much you
did. They did nerf weapon exp by roughly 30% on OBT so this may be incorrect but PvP
provides insane weapon exp and this is basically mandatory. These questable legendary
weapons will likely be BIS debating the affixes that each one gets. You will also need
maxxed out life skills for this but you should be doing that anyways. This will also require
the side questline that starts in the great cleave and ends in shattered mountain.
Reference images for weapons and more info to be found at NWDB

4. Max out your gathering life skills Mining, Lumbering, Harvesting, Skinning
this will generate a lot of money just by selling raw matts however I recommend you level
up all of your tradeskills to max.

5. Crafted gear This will be definitively the best gear in the entire game this will all be
timegated based on town leveling speeds. You will be able to craft the best Affixes/Perks
and attributes along with the highest item levels (Note: There are schematics to find out
in the world that will teach you to craft the best things but the default ones also have
great stats and affixes for the most part).

6. Side quests will provide you with some of the best gear, accessories and random
items to help bridge the gap into the endgame content. You should be sure to do all of
the endgame quests in Ebonscale Reach, Mourningdale, Edengrove, The Great Cleave
and Shattered Mountain.

7. The level 60 Expeditions/Traditional dungeons (Garden of genesis)

(Lazarus) (Dynasty shipyard). You need keys (attunement orbs) for will provide the
chance to get purple/legendary gear/accessories and are provided initially from
sidequests recommended to do all these quests with a group of 5 so you can do 5 of
each dungeon.
After those runs you will need to start crafting the keys. Also open world dungeons will
provide gear just not as good as garden or lazarus for the most part.
(Note Dynasty shipyards gear was lackluster on betas may improve in the future)

8. Elite runs and World bosses, To my knowledge these could be looted daily and
weekly depending on which you kill if you want to know the LOCATIONS (NWDB map
Filter -> Hide all -> Boss -> Elite Boss) This will provide locations of all of them and you
should mark which ones you do.

9. PvP the more you pvp the more faction tokens you get the easier it is to buy. You can
also participate in Siege/Fortress territory wars and receive a level 60 box of gear the
rewards vary and are inconsistent but it seemed like the better you do the better your
box. (let me know if you have more info about the siege box)

10. Open world Arenas and Chaos Invasions. Both of these will provide a
chance at gear this is lower on the list because of consistency the icons are the arenas
and the chaos invasions just pop up on your personal map as an event. You will see
them in every region you enter for the most part.

11. Outpost rush and invasions are also ways to get gear but at this stage unless you
get extremely lucky this gear will be mostly irrelevant if you are following the steps above
to generate your gear.

12. Best way to Gear

The best way to get gear is based on your current item level for instance if you have 7
pieces of gear at 525 ilvl and one item at 500 ilvl it will upgrade the 500 to 525 as a
priority. If you have all at 525 it will prioritize giving you a higher item level in any slot.
Inven has a great video on this and explains it very well. The just of the video is your loot
Determined upon entry (snapshot) of your equipped gear which basically means do not
Do not throw out anything horde it all and equip the best stuff before entering a dungeon
So that you can get upgrades easier (Note re equip your normal gear after you enter)

Determined upon entry (snapshot) of your equipped gear which means that throwing away bad
high item level gear is a big nono keep it all and snapshot when entering dungeons.

13. This is the best explanation of New world Luck, Rng and the Loot tables (Drop Chances
Mala Zedik goes to explain this in great detail and basically lets us know the real

Weapon Builds
As a note I will focus towards PvP builds. These builds are also viable in PvE so
speccing your weapon this way should make it for the most part that you won’t have to respec it
AT ALL saving you money and Azoth later on in the game. As always things change over time
and the game is brand new but these are the best builds paths in my opinion and if there is a
better build path I will update it as time goes on. All of these builds were built on NWDB and will
have clickable links below them so you can read all of the nodes that I took for each weapon to
understand what everything you have will be doing.

Scrolling Imgur link with ALL of my weapon builds and what I would combo with each weapon

Primary Strength Weapons:

Sword and Shield: - Scaling Str 0.9 Dex 0.65

Damage type - Slash/Thrust
Buffs - Empower, Fortify, Grit, Haste
Debuffs - Knockdown, Rend, Slow, Stun, Weaken
Stats - Main Con - Off Str

This will be the primary damage soaking weapon in the game. it scales with str main and
dex off. Depending on your shield that you choose you will either gain more damage or more
mitigation this has changed quite a bit over time and I will update the shields specifically after I
have more concrete information after launch SwoleBenji has a solid video that explains this
more in depth but as shields don't have a skill tree I won’t be deep diving them here.

You can use S&S as a dps or a tank weapon. Personally I think it is much better used on
the tank tree and is invaluable for pushing the capture points at Siege and taking massive hits in
PvE.

In this build you will be taking Shield Rush, Shield Bash and Defiant Stance going to the link will
allow you to hover over all of the options I have chosen and it will tell you what each node does.

Great Axe - Scaling: Str 1.0

Damage Type - Slash
Buffs - Fortify, Grit, Haste
Debuffs - Holding, Vortex
Stats - Main Con - Off Str

Great Axe is a weapon of great controversy and is called out as being overpowered 99%
of the time but it is also easily the best GvG engagement weapon due to gravity well and how
powerful it is. It will be one of the highest impact weapons in the game and you should expect to
see it quite a bit. I used it while shotcalling some sieges and was very successful so hopefully
my personal build finds you the same success. You will also out dps most people just by
spamming heavy attacks into the back of PvE mobs.

This is the build I used and when you have to offtank you are a beefy boi, it allows you to engage
and lock a ton of people down while keeping healthy if played correctly, it has a Drain tankyness
to it that I will go more in depth on in weapon combos but you should feel safe and free even
with 3+ people around you to go absolutely nuts and with Blood Lust active you can chase down
and kite anyone basically forever.

War Hammer - Scaling: Str 1.0

Damage Type - Strike
Buffs - Empower, Fortify, Haste
Debuffs - Exhaust, Rend, Slow, Stun, Weaken
Stats - Main Con - Off Str (Debatable to go full str and just be a dps machine but you will be in
Melee so having more hp on a slower weapon has a lot of value.)

War Hammer is one of my personal favorite weapons and has a really fun place in new
World. If you pop proper consumables at the right time you can become an absolute drain
tanking monster with absurd damage as you get later into the game. Those of you who know
me from lost ark know I love to compensate with a big hammer and it’s the same way here on
New World.

This Build is easily my favorite and provides an insane level of fun you end up having insane
movement speed with the stacking haste from facilitated expedition (5) and Swing Away (7)
while having a 20% slow with (11). You stick to everything like glue burn stamina bars which is
invaluable at wars (16) and have some crazy damage output and hp regen this is my ultimate
drain tank build which you will catch me using over on my stream and in my youtube and tiktok
videos.

Hatchet - Scaling: Str 0.9 Dex 0.65

Damage Type - Slash/Throw
Buffs - Empower, Fortify, Haste
Debuffs - Disease, Rend, Root, Weaken
Stats - Balanced Str/Con (Note sometimes this is just full con build depends on playstyle)

Easily the most controversially overpowered weapon in the entire game you will hear
nothing but tears about this weapon no matter what they do to it until they remove berserk this
is one of the best 1v1 weapons in the game as we saw from a few 1v1 tournaments but also
happens to be the best PvE Tanking weapon in the game… This weapon is actually
recommended to go full constitution and just regen more than the enemy can deal to you which
becomes very easy with a massive hp bar and % based regen.

This Build is easily one of the highest dps outputs in the entire game. When you and this is not
an if WHEN you hit a player with feral rush (4/8) in the back and immobilize them then Rending
throw (9) you will be able to absolutely tear them apart with melee attacks in seconds, now in
PvE this build works insanely well because (17) procs on ALLY debuffs giving you 20% more
uptime on berserk (1) the best skill in the game. This will keep you healthy doing crazy damage
keeping you a hunting, kiting (2), unkillable (3), uninterruptible (6) unkillable (12) absolute
monster. This weapon at max rank has some of the most potential in the game in 1v1 and raw
melee dps situations.

Primary Dexterity Weapons:

Rapier - Scaling: Dex 0.9 Int 0.65

Damage Type - Thrust
Buffs - Grit, Haste
Debuffs - Bleed, Stagger, Stun
Stats - Main Dex/Int - Off Con (Note this weapon will often be paired with Fire Staff, Ice Gauntlet,
Musket or Bow for safety and 1v1 potential)

The Rapier is one of the higher skillcap weapons in the game and provides great
movement with insane counterplay and damage potential. This weapon will take a lot of
practice and is very hard to use with higher ping. We will be taking a look at Divine Sensei’s build
for this one as he had great success alongside me in the beta. However I have heard about
Blood tree based builds and I might actually have to add a second build to this weapon in
particular but we will see as Live servers progress.

This Build is basically just for capitalizing on enemy mistakes and forcing them to make a
mistake any time someone gets stunned by riposte can easily be hit with a heavy attack from
behind chunking them. This build has an insane amount of invulnerable time when you pair it
with dodging and a ton of movement it is easily one of the most annoying builds to play against
in the game and also boasts some pretty high PvE damage however in a raw dps situation
where you can attack uninterrupted I think blood may pull ahead but this situation is extremely
rare in new world and I personally value the Invuln time and movement more.

Spear - Scaling: Dex 0.9 Str 0.65

Damage Type - Thrust
Buffs - Empower, Grit, Haste
Debuffs - Bleed, Rend, Slow, Stagger, Stun
Stats - Main Dex - Off Con

The Spear is one of the most fun and underrated weapons in the game you don’t usually
see to many people using it but it is a very solid skirmisher/1v1 weapon with extremely high dps
potential in PvE and PvP. This build is more pvp focused it still performs extremely well in PvE
and turns you into a spamming critting machine with tons of cc for adds.

This Build allows you to basically spam your skills and just dumb heavy attacks at insanely high
crit rates and damage into the backs of basically everything if you land one cc on a player you
will most likely 1 combo them if they are in light armour (either CC, rear rend into second CC into
rear heavy attack) is devastating. This is one of the builds I used on obt with 8 less skill points it
was still extremely effective and had people screaming in proxy chat. Tons of fun and very
spammy.
For the Pure PvE build, basically just drop the 3 points in Vault kick and put them in Skewer
swap (19) over to exposed wounds. It is a definite dps increase you just won't be spamming as
much and lose some open world pvp potential so that's on you.

Bow - Scaling: Dex 1.0

Damage Type - Thrust
Buffs - Haste
Debuffs - Bleed, Poison, Slow
Stats - Main Dex - Off Con

The bow has some pretty crazy montage clips already in large scale and in 1v1 and in no
way does it slouch in PvE damage. It is one of the higher dps weapons in the game and can
absolutely pump if left uninterrupted

This build is absolutely insane. You will outperform everyone in group based content which is
the majority of the game hence MMO you're supposed to play with people, There is another 1v1
build but I am not too interested in those because the most meaningful things in the game are
all group based. If you guys are interested let me know and I'll add the 1v1 build but for now we
will talk about how much damage this puts out. If you read the nodes there really isn’t any better
ones to take for raw damage potential realistically you are pairing this with a rapier and using
that to get yourself out of bad melee situations.
You will want to sit as far back as possible and just rain damage with your aoe skills and
insane auto attack damage, You will always have 2 bleeds up with Poison shot (4) and Rain of
arrows (3) which will also slow them and the debuffs seem to last an eternity with (19) between
the bleeds, and the insane damage from the nodes you will be the top dps at Siege and in
dungeons if you play your cards right.

Musket - Scaling: Dex 1.0 Int 0.65

Damage Type - Thrust
Buffs - Empower, Haste
Debuffs - Burn, Exhaust, Rend, Root, Stagger
Stats - Main Dex - Off Con

There isn’t a lot to say about the only hitscan weapon in the game, it has crazy damage
potential and if you are safe protected spamming in the back you are just an insane dps
machine in PvP and PvE. The shots are easy to land and you do tons of damage.

This Build basically lets you sit in the back farm headshots and just spam insanely high damage
and rp as the american sniper but you’ll have a lot more than 300 confirmed kills with this build
buckaroo. There’s a lot of gimmicks for musket be it using gems or being a living aimbot you will
be dropping a ton of damage into players. Powder burn (6) provides a very strong burn that
gives you a solid 12% dps boost on whatever it’s on while Shooter’s Stance (4) basically lets
you 100 - 0 anyone you tagged previously. If you are good at getting headshots this weapon will
be your best friend and make you look and feel like a god.

Primary Intellect Weapons:

Fire Staff - Scaling: Int 1.0

Damage Type - Fire
Buffs - Empower, Fortify, Grit, Haste
Debuffs - Burn
Stats - Main Int - Off Con

The fire staff is one of the first times I've actually had fun playing a caster in an MMO. It
really gives you a high impact insanely fun weapon to use and I feel like they really hit the mark
with this one. Insane damage, oddly good mobility and biiiiiiiiiiiiiiig Dam.

This Build lets you decimate everything in front of you while helping to keep your mana up so
you can just slam as much damage as possible. With Runes of Helios (14) you will be able to
drop fat fireballs (3) or Pillar of Fire (1) into groups of players or mobs. This is the flatout best
build for fire staff and unless they nerf the skills that won’t change. A lot of people did try
incinerate but in every Siege I personally attended this build outperformed it from a safe
distance and wreaked havoc across the map. This build will let you occasionally 1 shot solo or
groups of players and have a good laugh about it while having extra movement from Burn Out
(6) you should be an uncatchable dps god at the top of the charts.

Ice Gauntlet - Scaling Int 1.0

Damage Type - Ice
Buffs - Cleanse, Fortify
Debuffs - Freeze, Knockback, Rend, Root, Slow, Stagger
Stats - Main int - Off Con

The Ice gauntlet is one of the easiest to use and most punishing unforgiving weapons in
the game. Catching someone in Ice Storm is extremely easy with it’s crazy size and range and
between the crippling slows from Ice shower you probably are just going to get 100 - 0’d the
second you get caught. And if by chance you get in trouble you can Entomb (Ice block) and give
yourself a solid 3-5 seconds to think while they kill it or you break it early. So you get reaction
time, insane burst damage potential and the strongest choke holding ability in the game (Ice
Shower)

This build basically lets you just do whatever you want in the safety of range or melee you’ll
often just want a fire staff as an off weapon to just use burn out and pump your fire and ice
heart out. The best combo here is to catch them in either of your offensive skills and drop the
other on top of them. You do have to be in melee range to use Ice Shower (2) but don’t worry
most people will just W key at you anyways with a hatchet or great axe and you can decimate
them in a couple of seconds. I personally think this is one of the strongest ganking and GvG
weapons in the entire game. There are tons of clips of people destroying entire zergs with ice
storms and gravity well combos.

Primary Focus Weapons:

Life Staff- Scaling Focus 1.0

Damage Type - Nature
Buffs - Fortify, Haste, Recovery
Debuffs - None
Stats - Main Focus - Off Con

Life staff is the support weapon in the game with insanely high damage output for some
random reason. If you like to main support this is the weapon for you because it’s got everything
you’ve ever dreamed of… High low effort healing, Great damage reductions and insane damage
early game it balances off late game but is still very powerful in the full focus or the balanced
con/focus build.

This Build basically allows you to auto pilot heavy attacks and have a massive impact on
everything in front of you. Between your 3 main skills you should be able to keep yourself and
your allies alive with very little trouble.

Datamined Weapons that are not in the game yet:

These weapons will have builds and guides to them when they are put into the game. I
will add it to the changelog and put them under their respective stats.

● Angry Earth staff

● Blunderbuss
● Dagger
● Void Gauntlet

Choosing A Weapon Combo

Here we will talk about the most notable weapon combos currently in the game. I will
only have S tier combos of weapons in here. I will try to keep the summary of each one short so
it will help you decide which one might be best for you. I heavily detailed each weapon above so
now we will go over what works best together and why. If you think a weapon combo is viable
come talk to me about it in discord and show me some clips of you doing well with it and I will
add it.
● All skills are to be taken from the Weapon builds part of this guide.
● S Tier only weapon combos if something gets nerfed I will remove it and if something
gets buffed I will add it
● Read the above paragraph for more info on how to contact me if I missed a build.
● There are lots of builds you can do and most of them are gem focused but these are the
main ones we know work and scale well from the betas.

Strength Based Builds

Great Axe / Hammer (Claysthetics Drain Tank)
Stats - Heavy Con - Off Str
Armor weight - Heavy for max potential, medium for dodge value.
Role - Engage / Offtank / Dps
Difficulty - Medium
This is a very powerful draintank build that allows you to easily engage, lockdown and
stack players/mobs up and pump out a scary amount of damage. You will roughly heal 30%~ of
this damage you deal back so using the 400% damage consumable potions to juice up while
stance dancing you will get some insane damage and be almost unkillable. One of the best GvG
builds for melee players.

Great Axe / Short Sword (The Shotcaller)

Stats - Max Con - Off Str
Armor Weight - Heavy you're a beefy boi with not alot of worries
Role - Tank / Engage
Difficulty - Medium (min maxing block stamina)
This build is basically a shot callers wet dream, you can hold rmb and yell at your guild
to go in the right direction, which right is your right? It won’t matter you’ll have the defensive
setup on the shield and be able to pull off a nasty engage with the axe to set your guild up for
the perfect opportunity. This build is really good for tanking and you can output a lot of dps with
the Great Axe.

Great Axe / Hatchet (Fotm players)

Stats - Max Con - Off Str (Note Fotm players go full str <3)
Armor Weight - Medium you need the dash
Role - Dps/Offtank/Frontline
Difficulty - Easy (Hatchet goes Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrt)
This is the most generic build you will see in new world because it is insanely powerful at
GvG with the greataxe and 1v1 with the hatchet, Above we also discussed why the hatchet is so
good in PvE and you will be able to hard carry your group as top dps and tank at the same time.
You will be able to run everyone down between both weapons if someone gets away from you
they are speed hacking, you will be unkillable with the con build because of hp% regen on
berserk and you can literally just W key at everyone in the game and kill 90% of them.

Dexterity Based Builds

Rapier / Bow (Shroud)
Stats - Max Dex - Off Con
Armor Weight - Light
Role - Dps / Skirmisher
Difficulty - Hard
This is the build we saw Shroud having fun on, in the beta and a lot of people picked it up
as their main build. The reason it’s listed as hard is because getting caught in light armour is
almost an instant death so you need to be really good with the rapier to escape bad situations
and kite people while pumping them with bow damage. With practice this has potential as one
of the best 1vX builds in the game and maintains high damage in all PvP and PvE situations.
As a note you can replace the rapier with a spear but your survivability goes way down.

Rapier / Musket (Sweat)

Stats - Max Dex - Off Con
Armor Weight - Light
Role - Dps / Skirmisher
Difficulty - Hardest
This is definitively the hardest build to play in all of New World Rapier is hard to master
and unplayable on higher pings and Musket even though it is hitscan most MMO players are
going to try and use it like a minigun. This build has one of the highest damage potentials in the
game if you are lighting off headshots your single target damage will be unmatched. That being
said in GvGs things tend to get very laggy and this becomes very difficult making spray aoe
much more effective when the servers drop out. However, on a stable connection with no lag
and some good aim you will be destroying everything.

Rapier / Spear (Meme)

Stats - Max Dex - Off Con
Armor Weight - Light
Role - 1v1 / Skirmisher
Difficulty - Medium
This is kind of a meme build but I 1v1’d a lot of people and watched a ton of others 1v1
and this build came up quite a few times and never disappointed. It's simple but requires you to
be good at ccing and then back attacking for maximum potential. In 1v1 this build is insanely
good but it lacks any kind of aoe and will only be good for 1v1’s.

Intellect Based Builds

Fire Staff / Ice Gauntlet (Fire and Ice)
Stats - Max Int- Off Con
Armor Weight - Light
Role - Dps / Caster
Difficulty - Easy
You basically just throw aoe’s at whatever you want to kill and watch them explode, the
Ice Gauntlet’s skills stay active when you swap weapons so you can get the most out of both
weapons and have extreme safety with Entomb and crazy movement with Burn Out there is no
real drawbacks to this weapon combo it is easy to use and has Insane dps in everything. This
will be the top dps build at all sieges if played correctly. In PvE you are an aoe monster and the
single target this pumps out from the fire staff is ludacris. If you want a good Example Bretty
has some very nice gameplay of this.

Ice Gauntlet / Rapier (Vanilla Ice)

Stats - Max Int- Off Con
Armor Weight - Light
Role - Dps / Skirmish Caster
Difficulty - Medium
This build let’s you have insane movement and gives you the slow potential you need to
just run circles around people with the rapier. Ideal situation you will stun someone with the
rapier, drop big damage on them from behind, swap to the Ice gauntlet and put them in an icy
grave. Again rapier is only for low - medium ping the higher you get the harder the build is to
play.

Fire Staff / Rapier (Firedancer)

Stats - Max Int- Off Con
Armor Weight - Light
Role - Dps / Skirmish Caster
Difficulty - Medium
This is basically if you want more 1v1 potential and don’t really vibe the Ice gauntlet
combo. The mobility you gain here is actually insane. Between all of the rapier skills and
burnout you will look like you are teleporting around dropping nukes on people. I would debate
that this build is situationally better than the Fire staff and Ice gauntlet build just based on
survivability and movement.

Ice Gauntlet / Great Axe (Lockdown)

Stats - Max Int- Off Con
Armor Weight - Medium
Role - Dps / Engage Caster
Difficulty - Medium
This is the ultimate engagement build if you are at the right place at the right time you
can gravity well > reap > dash swap > Ice shower > Ice storm. I have a clip on Tiktok of me doing
this and I did it without the gem. The reason this works is putting a %Frost damage conversion
gem into your greataxe later on in the game this gives you 50%+ Scaling to your greataxe
attacks and allows you to carry any teamfight. There really isn’t any running away from this
build because of the speed increases and the slows.

Focus Based Builds

Life Staff / Sword and Shield (Paladin)
Stats - Max Focus- Off Con
Armor Weight - Heavy
Role - Support
Difficulty - Easy
This is Sir Medieval’s Paladin build. If you click the hyperlink on paladin or his name it will
take you to the video that he made about it. This is a very strong tank/support build and is in my
opinion the best raw support build in the entire game. If you are main tanking you can keep
yourself topped while swapping to lifestaff when you need it. This build is perfect for main/off
tanking all of the PvE content and is really good at pushing and holding the capture points at
siege. (Block about to break you swap to staff and dump heals).

Great Axe / Life Staff (Khonen)

Stats - Max Focus- Off Con (Gimic Gem the Great axe for nature damage)
Armor Weight - Medium/Heavy
Role - Support/Dps
Difficulty - Easy
A very prominent build that you will see a lot of from quite a few organized guilds
coming up at launch it has the ability to chase everyone down and heal everyone up. You
basically get the best of both worlds with very little drawback. Life Staff also has surprising
damage so if you are not careful you will explode before you understand what happened, and
you may not even be able to kill the guy full W keying you with this build.

Constitution Based Builds

Hatchet / Sword and Shield (Beefy Boi)
Stats - Max Con - Off whatever the second weapon is
Armor Weight - PvE Heavy - PvP Medium
Role - Tank
Difficulty - Easy (Hatchet goes Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrt Again.)
Maxxing constitution and using a Hatchet really feels like you are breaking the game,
The insane amount of regen berserk gives you with max hp% healing is out of this world. This
makes for the best Raw tank build in the entire game because bosses can’t out dps your healing
and if you are blocking correctly the damage won’t matter. You pop into hatchet during berserk
and pump for 8 seconds for the duration of the buff and then swap to your Sword and Shield to
eat the downtime with blocks and partywide damage reduction.

Attributes and Stat Distributions

Attributes
Attributes are stats that directly affect your damage, healing and health pool. There are different
weapons that rely on getting base damage from certain attributes.

You will notice there are 6 orbs in each category that give bonuses based on how much of a stat
you have up to 300, these are called threshold bonuses and they are your main goal. You won’t
get enough points to max them out while leveling, you will need to roll your gear for specific
stats in order to have the perfect Build.

Gear
Here we will talk about Armor, Gear suffixes, Affixes, Tools, Accessories bags, and how
they affect you and your character.

Armor
Jumping straight into Armor the key talking point is dodge rolls (Iframe) at Light you will
have a far roll but have less resistance, Medium you will have a nice side shuffle the smoothest
Dodge in the game and have medium resistances and heavy you basically have the 2 step dodge
it's pretty much useless but you are a beefy boi with maxxed out resistances.

This basically shows everything you need to know about it however to talk about how to get
these weight points you must never have a shield equipped unless you are using a sword and
shield it does literally nothing for you other than weigh you down.

Weight Classes

Light - 4 Light 1 Medium as of last OBT

Medium - The best loadout for medium is 2 heavy, 2 medium, 1 light. This will give the most
resistances and put you in the medium category still

Heavy - You can get here without trying but as soon as you hit it you might as well max it out full
heavy armor and if you equip a shield you will be very hard to kill in most situations if your stats
are min maxxed.

Gear suffixes
are the actual names of the items and they will provide you with a set of specific
attributes thanks to New World Fans we have a solid infographic for it.

Affixes
are bonuses to gear that are random unless crafted with special materials which we will
get into later in the crafting section. Here is an example of an affix on a weapon.

There are 3 affixes on this weapon: a gem slot and an attribute boost and named
weapons have guaranteed affixes, when you think about crafting the gear you can 100%
Guarantee at least one of the 3. This also works the same for armor, accessories, bags and
tools. The higher tier the item the more it can have on it so a tier 1 item gets 1 slot this will
usually be an attribute boost or a gem slot unless you force change it.

Gems
Gems can completely change playstyles and gearing efforts for instance you can turn a
greataxe into an intellect weapon instead of a strength weapon like listed in the Ice
Gauntlet/Great axe build.
Thanks to New World Fans we have a full list of all obtainable/craftable gems in the game here
are examples of the Gem armor effects and Gem weapon effects. Going to the hyperlink above
will provide an in depth dive on all of them. Thank you again to New world fans keep up the
amazing work.

Armor Gem effects

Weapon Gem effects

If you would prefer a video guide for this StudioLoot has an amazing video on it

Tools
The biggest thing you need to know about tools is that the higher tier they are the faster
they gather your time is valuable and you shouldnt waste it. Here are 2 examples. Images are
from NWDB

As you can see you gain 300% gathering speed with just the tier 4 to 5 tools this is consistent
across all of the tools except for the fishing rod.

Basically there are 6 Tool slots in New world and 5 are all for the respective gathering
professions. Logging, Mining, Harvesting, Fishing, Tracking and skinning. The last slot is for your
Azoth staff which you will need for corrupted invasions, breaches and the main story quest.

Here you can see that the Tools can also have affixes on them however they are directly catered
towards their profession rather than combat. These will all provide massive boosts and the
higher the tier of the tool the more bonuses it can have.

Accessories

Accessories provide massive stat increases and bonuses and are one of the big factors
in your build, some people go luck some people go raw stats and you will need these for late
game as they will be a key part of your build.

This is an example of what some accessories can look like and have later on thanks to the new
world main page.

Bags
We talked briefly about bags in the leveling guide and how to get the most value out of
them, essentially the lowest tier bag. Higher tier materials you use when crafting a lower tier
bag will bring its weight up by increasing the base item level; this also scales with the Extra
Pockets Talent which gives you +50~ Scaling with item level weight.

As you progress the game you will want to have max level bags so you can have multiple affixes
on them the main focuses here are Extra pockets, Quartermaster’s Burden and Luck from a PvP
perspective this will allow you to get a 15% reduce in the weight of your armor and equip 1
additional heavier piece of gear. Thanks to NWDB for providing a list of all affixes for everything.

Consumables
Potions
Potions will be your best friend in New World. These are all crafted at the arcana
station and you will need them for basically everything in the game. I will show examples of
corruption tinctures you will need to do the later invasions because of how hard the corruption
damage hits for you will need them.

This is the corruption tincture. There is a full list of tier 5 potions here and you can use the
dropdowns to see all of them. You can get absorption/resistance to ANYTHING in the game
through these potions and will be very valuable for those seemingly unbeatable boss
encounters.

We will also be taking a look at healing potions and the other kinds of effect
potions that you can use these are generic potions from the main new world website but you get
the idea that you will be needing them in all aspects of the game.

Recommendation from me is to gather by rivers and streams just water and a few bushtails as
you can use these to make cheap potions early on in the game and they will let you go alot
faster without having to slow down to recover hp.

Food

Stat Food
Food in New World is one of the biggest increases in stats you can get for a low
investment at least for the lower tiers. The higher tier food costs insane materials and everyone
will be wanting and needing it for Siege, and the Raids. We will be going back to New World
database for the full information on this.

This is an example of raw strength food as you can see you almost gain an entire attribute
threshold just from eating this one food, This is an INSANE boost and can let you round out a
build completely however the materials to craft it are very steep but for any Min/Maxxing player
you will be seeking these out.

With the cost being talked about the majority of people aren't going to want to use the best food
in an open world situation and you will often see tier 3 food which is a solid boost for anyone
just running around having fun because the materials invested are not to steep and if you are
learning a new boss encounter it is not recommended to use to best consumables until you fully
understand what you are doing as to not waste your time and money.
Tier 3 Food example:

Lifeskill Food
This is going to be one of the greatest assets to life skillers you will be constantly
crafting and when it comes to the late game gear you are going to want the best here is an
example of a + 15 base item level food for weapon smithing. This is going to allow you to
bypass a weapons base item level and craft a truly Maxxed out Item. There is also food to let
you get more yield from gathering etc here is a full list of food from NWDB

Last but not least Rations

Rations are just cheap spammable hp regen food that you will be crafting and
using throughout the entire game.
Housing
Your First House

Trophies
Buying your first house on New World is a very fun and important thing that you
can debatably do early or later. You get a 50% discount on the first house purchase so if you
wait until later you can buy a high end house cheaper. The main thing to keep in mind is
Trophies give you buffs and you can have 2 trophy items per house.
Here is a full list of housing items from NWDB
Here is an example:

Storage
Additionally you can get extra storage in a town so it is recommended to have a house at your
main crafting town.

Cosmetics
Housing is also very traditional in the sense that you can have really fun cosmetics and really
make the house your own. Other people can visit and see what you have turned that plot into
and it is a ton of fun.

PVE

Expeditions

Personally I feel like the dungeons were very buggy and did not look good in the
beta/alphas of the game and if anything videos genuinely take away from how fun they could be
I hope they have the majority of the issues sorted out for live and I will upload my runs through
them for you all to see. There are a lot of people that did finish them including myself in the cbt
and some of them just didn’t work most of you have heard of the invisible lasers but this is why
we will be leaving it out for now so that it doesn't discourage people from trying them and
grinding them out. If you do want videos from the beta just type the name into youtube.

Each hyperlink will take you to New World databases dungeon map so you do not miss anything

And we have the guides linked from New World Hub. These guys are also epic and have a great
website check them out.

1. Amirine
Is the first dungeon you will encounter from level 23-30 and is a great introduction to the
dungeon mechanics of the game. Great starting point things to note are just don’t stand in any
of the enemy animations and you will be just fine.
Difficulty: Easy
Full Amirine Guide

2. Starstone Burrows
This is the second dungeon you will encounter around level 33-39 the difficulty gets turned up a
little bit here but as long as you are careful you will go through it with ease.
Difficulty: Easy
Full Starstone Burrows Guide

3. The Depths
The third dungeon you will find at about level 40-45 has to deal with fighting commander Thorpe
again the guy from the tutorial and he is juiced up. This is where things get turned up and he is
extremely difficult for anyone without a constitution build and a ton of hp potions at least on
curve.
Difficulty: Medium
Full The Depths Guide

4. Dynasty Shipyard
The Fourth dungeon you will find at level 50-55 In my opinion this is the coolest looking dungeon
currently in the game and was a lot of fun to run through so I can’t wait to see it on live servers.
Unfortunately loot was very lackluster in previous builds so hopefully it’s tuned up a bit.
Difficulty: Easy
Full Dynasty Shipyard Guide

5. Garden of Genesis
The fifth dungeon you will encounter is a creepy underground garden of horrors. This is a level
60 Dungeon and should not be attempted below 525 item level which is very easy to obtain but
this place gets very easy after you farm it a few times and get used to it. Creepy plan vibe.
Difficulty: Hard
Full Garden of Genesis Guide

6. Lazarus Instrumentality
This is the sixth dungeon you will run into and I must say it is the one with the best vibes. The
mobs are cool and the bosses are even cooler. This is easily the most fun dungeon but it is also
unforgiving like garden. If you make a mistake you will flop over dead very quickly. But it’s just
about learning the mechanics and most of those are just dodging very telegraphed highlighted
areas on the ground and reading animations.
Difficulty: Hard
Full Lazarus Instrumentality Guide

Outpost Rush PvE

This is amazon's 20v20 and one of the only queued for game modes in New World. You must be
level 60 to participate.

It is PvPvE where you can kill monsters around the map and get them to fight for you. Basically
there's a bit more to it than that but this is basically the goal. Play Pokemon get the big bois and
then run it down mid and kill the enemy base.

Rewards - You get a box at the end which is possibly better based on performance and has
anywhere from 500-550 gear in it at least from everything i’ve done and looked around for if you
know of someone getting something higher than this please let me know.

Elites and Bosses

One of the favorite things to do over the betas was to do elite runs and kill the world bosses,
Now the world bosses are on a weekly lockout and are all named. The elites are also named
monsters and we talked about this in the endgame section a little more. It has a full map and
how to get to all of them but I will relink that HERE.

Corrupted Invasions
This is where the Corrupted attack your Territory’s settlement and try to degrade your town. You
will need 50 people, this is the same signup as PvP, just a different board.
- This is a 30 minute event with a 15 minute prep.
- To siege you have to sign up at the warboard and get selected by the guild that has
assaulted or is defending the region to participate.
- Same thing as the PvP you get 50 battle tokens to purchase the same things

- This will all happen in waves and the types of enemies you will face are
- Grunts - Fodder units easy to aoe
- Raiders -Tankier units that you should debuff and dispatch with the grunts
- Snipers - If they cluster they start insta killing people so take them out quickly
- Bombers - Main focus if these reach your gates they will do insane damage these
are something you HAVE to prioritize. These have low hp.
- Brutes - Massive siege beasts that have to be single targeted and debuffed to
make sure they do not make it to the settlement they have large healthpools.
- Bosses - At the end it is ideal that you have all the other things cleared out so you
can deal with the boss by itself and is just a big raid boss. Avoiding the
telegraphs and have your tanks face him away from the group for free loot.

- The rewards are tied directly to your score so do good and get the good stuff, This
seems to be an item level based box not a level based box.
- I did not get to do an invasion because every time I tried the mobs never spawned on the
server I was on however BagginsTV has a great video showcasing that when it is
working even if you crash you can get right back into it.

PVP

Siege/Fort Endgame

This is how you will control regions in New World. It is a 50v50 and you will need a guild to
participate unless you are a known player most guilds that contend for these will not just be
inviting people at random.
- Siege is 30 minutes long with a 15 minute waiting room at the beginning.
- To siege you have to sign up at the warboard and get selected by the guild that has
assaulted or is defending the region to participate.
- Everyone gets points at the beginning of the battle and a common tactic is to have
someone buy a cannon/repeater and someone else to buy ammo+haste elixir.
- There are alot of things on the vender.

- I started with 50 points in all of the sieges I participated in but this is a full list of what
you can buy. It is also common to buy inferno traps and haste elixirs on defence.
- Haste elixirs provide a massive movement speed boost and let you run people down
really quickly.

- You will have to capture 3 points to unlock the ability to attack the gates (A, B and C)

- After you capture the points you can attack the gates which you blow up with cannons or
powder kegs.

- Capturing the main Fort point will result in the attacking guild winning the region.

Outpost Rush PvP

- This PvPvE you can mostly ignore the other players and just pve so it is kind of lackluster
but if you end up with the right people in here you can actually have a ton of fun.
- This is the new world preview from amazon games for outpost rush it makes it look
really cool so definitely worth trying out.

Open World
- The main objective of open world pvp will be to get the best resources over other people
but that doesn't stop them from unflagging. The real goal here is to destabilize regions,
every time you finish a pvp quest it

Gathering
Just to talk quickly about tools for this the higher tier tool you have the faster it gathers for
instance a Steel axe has 250-350% gather speed and an iron axe has 125-225% so the higher
tier Tools you are using the faster you will tear through this stuff. You can also spec your bags
for this to have the materials weigh less on you.

Logging
Common trees are littered everywhere in the world. You can’t really walk anywhere without
seeing them but this is the most abundant area. Pictures taken from NWDB MAP

Young Trees and Mature Trees

Wyrdwood

Ironwood

Mining
All of the best routes for mining there are more routes just filter them on the map I will only list
the rank 1 of each type here. Gather stone until level 10. Pictures taken from NWDB MAP.

Iron Ore
Silver Ore

Gold Ore

Oil

Platinum

Starmetal

Orichalcum

Harvesting
Hemp gang rise up, You can basically just gather hemp to 200 and you will probably still feel
good we swapped over to New World Fans maps for this one because it had more nodes for
hemp
(Note herbs, fungi, dyes and cooking ingredients also give harvesting exp and can be tracked
and gathered at different levels pick up ALL of these in your travels)

Hemp

Silkweed

WireFiber

Tracking & Skinning

Please just skin everything you kill or come across it makes life way easier on you there will be
tracking and skinning quests later on in the game that require this to be leveled up.

Fishing
With fishing you are just looking for hotspots or deep water with sub 6 range casts to level
Up. The hotspots are where you will catch all of the rare and legendary fish in the game. Picture
in NWDB map. (Filter -> Hide all -> Fishing (Rare, Secret, Broad).

All Fishing Hotspots

Refining
If you are raw making all of the materials yourself instead of buying them this changes
drastically for example crafting 1564 Iron ingots will get you 56304 exp which would by itself
takes you a lot further refer to the exp tables on NWDB. The values were taken from the
Tradesmen’s bible so go check them out as well.

Crafting
Essentially all of the work to figure out the most efficient pathing for leveling all of these things
is in the tradesmans bible and we will reference it exclusively here. This will be the fastest way
to go from 1-200 in everything.
There are some beautiful infographics from Tesh that you can check out as well.

Weaponsmithing
To note here weaponsmithing has orders that make it alot easier to level up than other
professions so exact 0-200 is off but I will do my personal best to represent it this is my
representation of the best way to level it.

- 0-50
- Crude orders when possible 300-1092 exp per
- Iron longsword 0-50 Otherwise (120 exp)
- 7 Iron Ingots
- 2 Refined wood
- 1 Coarse leather
- The total amount you need will vary based on orders.

- 50-100
- Iron armament work orders 630-1230 exp per
- Steel Longsword 50-100 Otherwise (330 exp)
- 8 Steel ingots

- Starmetal Longsword 100-200 (900)
- 9 Starmetal ingot
- 2 Refined wood - Wyrdwood
- 1 Leathers - Scaly hide
- The total amount you need will vary based on orders and it may just be better to
craft steel longswords depending on material availability.

Armoring
To note here, Armoring has orders that make it alot easier to level up than other
professions so exact 0-200 is off but I will do my personal best to represent it. This is my
representation of the best way to level it.

Cooking
This is another Work orders are the key to success kind of profession your 0-200 will
heavily depend on town board quests. This one is a hardstuck because of the low crafting exp
per meal you will find the best way to level this up is crafting Dye’s outside of work orders.
- 0-50 Rations
- 50-100 Work orders, Dyes and rations
- 100-150 Work orders, Dyes and rations
- 150-200 Work orders, Dyes and rations

Furnishing
This is another tricky one simple because most of the actual good exp items come from
schematics so if you are lucky enough to buy some from the market or find them then this is a
lot easier to level up

- 0 - 50 Ash full bed or Cerulean sheets bunk bed and Ash stain
- 50 - 70 Maple stain or Schematic
- 70 - 75 Common incense
- 75 - 120 The cheapest trophy available to you
- 120 - 150 Strong Incense or Schematic
- 150 - 170 Mahogany stain or Schematic
- 170 - 200 Powerful Incense or Schematic

Towns

Town Board
- This is the main way to progress the town and help it grow this is really important as it
gets you higher tier crafting stations and lets you craft the most powerful items and
consumables.
- These quests refresh every 30 minutes

Faction
- You will have to join a faction to start doing these Quests.

Faction Quests
- These are the type of quests you can get 3 daily bonuses but you can spam repeat all of
these quests 3 PvE and 3 PvP

Crafting Stations
- These are the lifeskillers source of joy in New World and they let you craft everything.
They all have respective icons in a town

- These can only be leveled up as high as a town is leveled so keep in mind it will take
some time before they all get to tier 5 and you can craft all of the best stuff.

- Crafting does give ExP as well so it will help round some levels out for you if you are
heavy into it.

Explore it’s a New World

At the end of the day it’s a brand new game for the majority of people playing and I really
Think that this is the only thing we are getting from an NA company for a very long time and I
am very hopeful that they continue to listen to player feedback and keep the game in a positive
fun state. I look forward to seeing you all out in Aeteurnum.

If the guide helped you at all I really hope you pop by on Youtube or Twitch to come hangout and
maybe even discord if you are feeling spicy Love Claysthetics <3.
