Objective 2: Use research-based knowledge and principles of teaching and learning to enhance professional practice
(LEARNING OBJECTIVES)

The objectives in my lesson plan is based on the Learning Competency of DepEd wherein what students will learn or
be able to do at the end of class is taken into consideration. I see to it that the objectives are S.M.A.R.T. (specific,
measurable, attainable, relevant and time-bound) so I can track student progress and ensure that new concepts are
understood before moving on and achievable considering the time available. According to Anderson, L. & Krathwohl,
D., et al. (2001)A Taxonomy for Learning, Teaching, and Assessing: a revision of Bloom's taxonomy of educational
objectives, New York : Longman, one way of determining learning objectives is the S.M.A.R.T. Approach.

Objective 2: Use research-based knowledge and principles of teaching and learning to enhance professional practice
(INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES)

In teaching the lesson, I used ICT such as google meet and nearpod application so the students can enjoy learning
and they are excited all throughout the lesson. I used different activities such as JUMBLED WORDS and NEARPOD
TIME TO CLIMB wherein it is a type of Multimedia Games which requires the active involvement of the learners. It is
student-centered and interactive activity. The kind of approach/strategy is anchored in Constructivism Phillosophy of
Educaton in which the students enjoy while learning in a democratic environment. I used this in my lesson in
answering the activity because it is a technology-game based and according the US Department of Education, the
use of technology helps improve learning, productivity and performance

(ASSESSMENTS)

According to Dr. Serhart Kurt, 2020 students are able to focus on the learning objective and demonstrate the specific
skill required during evaluation when the assessment is aligned in the lesson objectives that is why the assessment I
used in the lesson is aligned in the learning competency/lesson objectives. One of the competencies is to illustrate
probability of union, as part of assessing the learners during the discussion, I used Venn diagram to let the students
illustrate. Another competency is to find the probability of union, to assess this, I used a problem solving type of
assessment wherein students will be able to find or solve probability. Problem solving encourages students to believe
in their ability to think mathematically.(https://nzmaths.co.nz/benefits-problem-solving#:~:text=Problem%20solving%20provides
