1. Give a brief snapshot of yourself. (Max 50 words)

Tell us something interesting.
Ans: Coming from a background in Astrophysics and Molecular Biology, I have used my
quantitative abilities to solve problems from pure sciences to fest management. Always
the topper in school, I have fought successfully against the stereotype of being a nerd. I
also have a passion for teaching and problem solving.

2. What do you consider to be your Top 2 achievements? (Max 50 words)

(Outside of academics)
Ans:
A. Turning the tide for Pravega, IISc’s annual fest. When I took over as chief
coordinator, the fest was in a debt of ~20% and was on the verge of shutting down.
Under my lead, we managed to clear all outstanding debt, made a ~10% surplus and
conducted the biggest edition of Pravega to date.
B. Completing a diploma in Indian Classical Music. Having to manage rigorous practice
while preparing for JEE, and having to study and write the exams in Gujarati, a
language I have never know before, was a significant challenge that I feel proud to
have completed.

3. What is your motivation behind applying for the EntreVC Club?

List 3 points.
Ans:
A. Talk to entrepreneurs and gain first hand experience of how to start a venture of
your own.
B. Find like minded people to potentially start a startup with.
C. Learn the personality traits it takes to be an entrepreneur.

4. Briefly describe one activity that you would want to undertake as a member of the
EntreVC Club. (Max 50 words)
Ans: A mock trading platform for unlisted startups to encourage market research and
learn how startups should be valued. I know there are a lot of kinks to be polished here,
so I will give it some more thought if I am selected.

5. Is there any industry/sector you follow closely, or admire? If yes, why? (Max 50
words)
Ans: I follow edtech and climate change solutions sectors very closely. Both my parents
are teachers and I have spent a long time thinking about the best methodologies for
democratising education and making it accessible to all. I also worry constantly about the
impending doom of our planet and possible business solutions to make saving the planet
a profitable endeavour.
