2.

1 Create Virtual Switch Manager

1)Click Virtual Switch Manager

2)Choose internal as we just want to communicate within network

3)Give name accordingly & click Apply


2.2 Create a VM with OS (2016 or 2019)
1)create new virtual machine
2)Give name accordingly, click Next

3)depend on your requirement, I select generation 1


4)put 4096 mb

5)choose our switch


Click next

6)select iso file, in this example I choose MS Windows Server 2016


8)Click Finish
2.3 link the VM with Switch
1)Right click VM , choose settings

2)Choose latest switch that we newly created


2.4 create static IP for new VM
1) Go to Network and Sharing Centre
2) Right click network adapter, click properties

3)untick ipv6 and click ipv4

4)use the following IP Address

Example:
Active Directory (AD) and Domain Name Server (DNS)
3.1 Enable AD and DNS features
1) >Open server manager >click manage >add roles and feature

2)tick active directory domain services & DNS Server


3)Choose add a new forest

4)Specify domain

5)Enter your own password for DSRM


6)No need to tick Create DNS delegation, click install

3.2 Promote as Domain Controller (DC)

1)Back in Server Manager >


2)In the ‘Notifications’ section, click the warning triangle > ‘Promote This Server To Domain
Controller’.

3.3 create new Domain Name


1)click start button, type dsa.msc, press enter

2)already created as per step 3.1 (4)


3.4 create Organization Unit (OU) in ADUC for user
1)right click domain, click organization unit

2)enter appropriate OU name , click OK


3.5 create 3 user account under new OU

1) right click organizational unit (OU) , click user


2) enter 3 user details, example
4.1 Enable DHCP feature
1)go to server manager
2)click add roles and feature

3)tick DHCP Server
