automotive, business process outsourcing (BPO), consumer products, industrial products, private equity,
transportation & infrastructure, manufacturing, retail, technology, telecommunications and textiles.
Team Profile:
Alvarez & Marsal’s Turnaround and Performance Improvement Practice (TAP) works with Banks,
Private Equity and Corporates.
Services provided include business assessment to ascertain sustainable debt, provide support for raising
interim finance, identify and implement restructuring for best recovery. Our senior leaders also take up
Interim Leadership (CEO, CFO, COO) positions and run day-to-day operations of the client. We work
with leading private equity and Corporates to improve the company’s performance in areas including
Revenues, Manufacturing Efficiencies, Sourcing & Supply Chaim Optimization etc., leading to EBITDA
growth.
TAP team consists of highly trained and experienced cross disciplinary advisers with operating,
consulting, finance and IT backgrounds.

Distill insights from analyses by identifying second order implications
Systematically break down the problem into relevant focus areas
Develop a quick understanding of clients’ businesses and its derivers and leverages the same
for project delivery

Project Management:
Plan and execute tasks effectively by prioritizing various activities with team
Meticulous attention to detail, a sense of curiosity, and the ability to learn quickly, and a

Collaborate with colleagues, identify and implement opportunities for improved

Capture and record time and costs incurred on each project every week
Ensure the timely delivery of work allocated
Ensure timely actions on feedback by clients/Senior Manager/Director
Client Management:
Interact with clients and seniors independently and effectively
Set clear and unambiguous expectations on deliverables
Manage client expectations and make changes accordingly

Basic Qualifications:
MBA
Experience:
Required:
o Manager: 20 months pre MBA
o Consulting experience OR industry experience at a renowned corporate in strategy /
operations / business planning / cost reduction / sales & marketing / supply chain
management / process re-engineering / finance controller / change management
Preferred:
o Experience of advising companies in turnaround / distress situations
o Experience of working in interim management roles
o Experience of working in operational restructuring environment
Key Competencies:

Effectively communicate the findings and analyses to client
Demonstrated ability to work with teams and creating learning environment
Take initiative and actions to gain skillsets as per project demand
