This document outlines two tasks for an exam assessing PTV Viswalk skills. Task 1 involves creating a basic pedestrian network from scratch including obstacles, routes, and multiple levels and saving the file. Task 2 requires building a small network with a bus stop, public transport lines, and configuring the bus stop for pedestrian boarding/alighting while managing conflicts as pedestrians cross between a start and destination area, saving the file.

Task 1 (record with steps recorder, one screen, deactivate others)
First steps in PTV Vissim-Viswalk create a first network with:
• the default settings in PTV Vissim
• create a pedestrian model from scratch • create obstacles • create routes • create multi levels • save your inpx-file (upload the file into the results PTVBox)
Task 2 (record with steps recorder, one screen, deactivate others)
Bus-Stop with pedestrians • create a small network with 2 links and a bus stop in the middle • create 2 public transport lines • prepare the bus stop for real boarding and alighting for pedestrians • define a start area and destination area for pedestrian that they walk from and to the bus stop. • manage the conflicts when pedestrians cross the street • save your inpx-file (upload the file into the results PTVBox)
