Application To apply as an exchange student at Marsyk, HAN first needs to nominate you.
procedure Nomination means that HAN informs the partner university that you have been
selected to study with them as an exchange student for one semester. As soon as
you’re nominated you’ll be notified.

Required documents
☐ Once you’ve been nominated, Marsyk University will send you an email with
information about their application procedure and instructions on how to use the
online portal.
You will need to provide, among others, the following documents:
☐ Printed online application
☐ Passport-sized photo
☐ Proof of English proficiency B2 (see English Proficiency Form).
☐ HAN Learning Agreement

Once you’ve completed the application, send a copy of the confirmation of your
application together with the following documents to outgoing@han.nl:

☐ HAN Learning Agreement signed by you and your SSCC or Exam Board
☐ HAN Registration Form signed by you and your SSCC or SAC
Please note: the IO Scholarships Department will send you an email with more
information on how to apply for the Erasmus Grant. For more details, please visit the IO
Insite page.

Learning On the Learning Agreement (LA) you fill in International Office Nijmegen

choice of courses approved by HAN and 6525 EN Nijmegen
by the Partner University. The LA requires
three signatures: yours, HAN’s (Examination
Board or your SSCC) and the partner’s. Opening hours Front Desks:
12:30 - 16:30h.
Please note: You are responsible for
obtaining all three signatures. Therefore
provide the partner university with your Email:
partially signed Learning Agreement (i.e. outgoing@han.nl
signed by you and by HAN) via their online
application or via email and politely
request them to sign your LA too.

Fees student at a partner university means that
you pay tuition fees at HAN, not at the
partner university. However, this does not
mean that you do not have to pay
anything. Most universities require you to
pay a one-time semester fee to cover, for
example, their costs for administration,
registration, services, activities, etc.
