Blacks in the ‘Burbs (Part I)

The existence of African Americans who consider themselves to be in the middle class is one of
the consequences of the increased number of class differentials within the African Americans.
The African Americans in the middle class assume some level of supremacy such that ordinary
blacks who are considered to be part of the minority groups living in the United States. Middle-
class African Americans have since assumed a high position within the American population, but
it is evident that they continue being segregated by the whites who consider them to be among
the minority groups living in the US despite the wealth or progress they have attained so far.
Wealthy blacks are only recognized by their own people, but their contribution is considered
useless or unbinding by their white counterparts in the US. The protests by African Americans
will be an extensive happening that will not only affect the working-class and lower-class
African Americans but will attract the attention of all minority groups living in the US
(Bonhomme, 2021). Unemployment is one of the main challenges in the US affecting the
minority groups as most well-paying jobs are dominated by whites. Future protests are expected
to be a joint undertaking by African Americans and all other minority groups living in the US.
