“There are always three speeches, for every one you actually gave. The
one you practiced, the one you gave, and the one you wish you gave.”

-Dale Carnegie

This quote of Dale Carnegie depicts the importance of speaking abilities in

communication. A reminder for us that as we speak to the audience we tend either
to inform, persuade and entertain others. “The one you practiced, the one you gave,
and the one you wish you gave”,these three speeches what matter is that you
deliver the speech you want to convey because that is what your audience was
expecting to hear. The importance is that it lies in its tremendous potential to
induce change, inspire others, motivate them to take action, and persuade them to
devote their lives to a cause.

In our modern world, the ability to present to an audience is a crucial skill.

Delivering a speech can cause even the most confident among us to break a sweat.
We should remember that no matter what your mistake, remain positive and don’t
get hung up on it. Mistakes are made by everyone, and are part of becoming a
better public speaker.
