INTERNSHIP AGREEMENT FOR GRADUATE STUDENTS

in the 2nd year of Master of Science degree program of study

The following agreement was concluded

I. BETWEEN

Internship Organizer

referred to as Internship Partner.
　
II. OBJECT OF THE AGREEMENT

The main objective of organizing and conducting the internship is the development of work skills
for students of higher technical education, in order to increase their competences level and to
ensure a faster labour market insertion.
The University "POLITEHNICA" of Bucharest organizes the Internship for students in accordance to
the Romanian Law no. 258/2007, dated on 19.07.2007, published in the Official Journal of
Romania, Part I, no. 493, dated on 24.07.2007 and to the Order no. 3955, dated on 09.05.2008, of
the Romanian Ministry of Education, Research and Youth published in the Official Journal of
Romania, no. 440, dated on 12.06.2008.
The method of conducting the internship, as well as the theme and planning of the internship will
be described in the Internship Tripartite Agreement, which will be concluded in accordance with
the legislation mentioned above, between the Internship Organizer, the Internship Partner and
the Trainee (student).

III. DURATION OF THE AGREEMENT

The hereby agreement is valid throughout the internship period for students in the 2nd year of
Master of Science degree program of study, at the University "POLITEHNICA" of Bucharest, Power
Engineering Faculty. For the academic year 2019-2020, Students' Internship lasts for 4 weeks (160
hours) and will be held within the 17th of February 2020 to 15th of May 2020, 40 hours/week.

IV. OBLIGATIONS OF THE PARTIES

A. Responsibilities of the Internship Partner:

 The Internship Partner will accept for the internship 1 (one) student from the
"POLITEHNICA" University of Bucharest, Power Engineering Faculty.

  The Internship Partner will appoint a tutor for the student internship, selected from its own
employees.
 If the Trainee will not comply with his obligations, the tutor will contact the advisory teacher
and sanctions will be applied in accordance with the Regulations of the University
"POLITEHNICA" of Bucharest.
 Before the beginning of the internship, the Internship Partner will instruct the Trainee with
respect to the rules of safety and health at work, in accordance with the legislation. Among its
responsibilities, the Internship Partner will take the necessary steps to assure the security and
health at work for the Trainee, as well as to communicate the rules for prevention of
professional risk.

B. Obligations of the Internship Organizer:

 The Internship Organizer appoints an advisory teacher that is responsible for planning and
organizing the internship.
 After the internship will have been successfully conducted, the Internship Organizer will
grant the Trainee the amount of credits specified in the Curriculum, which will also be inserted
in the diploma supplement, according to the European regulations (Decision 2.241/2004/CE of
the European Parliament and Council).

V. OTHER CLAUSES

If the Internship Organizer or the Trainees will not comply with the above mentioned provisions,
the Internship Partner reserves its right to terminate this agreement.
If the internship will not be conducted according to the commitments made by the Internship
Partner under this agreement, the Internship Organizer can decide on interrupting the internship,
after previously informing the Responsible of the Internship Partner and after receiving
confirmation for reception of this knowledge.

The hereby agreement was signed in two copies, one for each of the signatories.
