The Ant and the Dove

Once upon a time, a very thirsty Ant was drinking water from the river. Suddenly, the Ant
lose his balance and fell into the water.

“Help, help, help” cried the Ant. But no one could hear his cries. A dove sitting on a tree
nearby, saw that the Ant was in trouble. She quickly plucked off a leaf from the tree and
dropped it into the water.

The Ant climbed on the leaf. He thanked the Dove for saving his life.

After a few days, the Dove was sitting on a tree. The Ant saw a hunter aiming his arrow at
the Dove. The Ant knew that his friend, the Dove, was in danger. He quickly bit the
hunter’s leg. The hunter cried in pain.

The hunter’s arrow missed the Dove. This time, the Ant saved the Dove.The Dove thanked
to the Ant. And they become friends forever.

Semut dan Merpati

Alkisah, Semut yang sangat kehausan sedang meminum air dari sungai. Tiba-tiba, Semut

kehilangan keseimbangan dan jatuh ke air.

“Tolong, tolong, tolong” teriak Semut. Tapi tidak ada yang bisa mendengar tangisannya.

Seekor merpati duduk di pohon di dekatnya, melihat bahwa Semut sedang dalam kesulitan.

Dia dengan cepat mencabut sehelai daun dari pohon dan menjatuhkannya ke dalam air.

Semut memanjat daun. Dia berterima kasih kepada Merpati karena telah menyelamatkan

hidupnya.

Setelah beberapa hari, Merpati sudah duduk di atas pohon. Semut melihat seorang

pemburu mengarahkan panahnya ke arah Merpati.

Semut tahu bahwa temannya, Merpati, dalam bahaya. Dia dengan cepat menggigit kaki

pemburu. Pemburu itu menangis kesakitan.

Anak panah si pemburu meleset ke arah Merpati. Kali ini, Semut menyelamatkan Merpati.

Merpati berterima kasih kepada Semut. Dan mereka menjadi teman selamanya.
