Thank you for purchasing the PET100 GPS tracker. This manual shows you how to operate the tracker easily
and correctly. Make sure to read this manual carefully before using this product. Please note that content
in the manual is subject to changes without prior notice. The manufacturer assumes no responsibility for
any errors or omissions in this document.

Summary
PET100 is based on existing GSM network and GPS satellites and can locate and monitor any remote targets
(mostly used for dogs and cats) by SMS or internet within 5 meters of accuracy. It operates on a 1000mAh
battery, which in normal mode should be enough for 300 hours before re-charge. When tracking the
battery time is reduced significantly.

Open the rubber cover on the side of the PET100 GPS tracker; insert the SIM card into the SIM card slot. If
you have purchased a micro SIM, you will need to use a micro SIM adapter, like the one below:
Pet collar should enter the PET100 GPS tracker like the photo below:

Operating the PET100 GPS tracker
Turn on the unit outdoors by pressing the “on/off” button until the LED is flashing
For first use, please initialize the unit and restore it to the default setting by sending SMS
“begin123456” to the PET100 trackers SIM card number – reply should be “begin ok”
In 10 or 40 seconds, the unit will begin to work and acquire the GSM signals as well as the GPS
signals. The indicator will keep flashing every 3 seconds when the unit has received the signals
(green for GSM/GPRS and blue for GPS signal)
When this unit receives GPS signals normally, you can use it and do any setting as the instructions
of this manual
1. Google Maps link; this is the link to the Google map showing the position the of the PET100 tracker
unit. When you click on the link with your fingers, it will bring up either Google Map (if installed on
your smartphone) or your phone browser with the GPS positon of the PET100 tracker.
a. V.A/V indicates GPS signal
b. V.A indicates there is a GPS signal
c. V.V indicates there is no GPS signal
2. 2015-01-13 11:34:00 The date and time stamp when the unit last received a GPS signal
3. S:000 km/h: this indicates the last known speed of the unit
4. Bat: 100%. The approximate amount of battery charge remaining. The value is between 5% and
100% with 100% being fully charged.
5. 9106102010: The IMEI code of the PET100 GPS tracker. This number is used for tracking website
and app.
3. SMS tracking
Call the SIM card phone number in the PET100 GPS tracker by other smartphone or cell phone
You will receive a Google Maps link by SMS
Click on the link displayed
Now it displays the position of the PET100 GPS tracker
When the PET100 GPS tracker cannot get GPS signal in one minute or in sleep mode, it will reply history
position (V.V); the PET100 GPS tracker will send real time tracking information until it get GPS signal (V:A)

When the PET100 GPS tracker location show different position than on the Google map, there are two
kinds of circumstances.
Solution
Dial SIM card number for the PET100 GPS tracker. If it replies SMS with “V:V”, it means there is no GPS
signal and if reply with “V:A”, it means PET100 GPS tracker is in sleep mode. Use SMS commands below to
correct this.

IMPORTANT: For correct APN name, please contact your provider of the SIM card or search the internet for
the APN name of your service provider (SIM card). Without right APN name, the PET100 GPS tracker will
not work when tracking online.
Setup:
1. A standard SIM card from a mobile phone provider – not a 3G or 4G card only.
2. Your IMEI number mentioned on either the box or the GPS tracker itself. On the PET100 it is
mentioned on the back of the unit.
Once you have noted these numbers you have to login to the platform at http://hosting.wialon.com/
Username and password will be provided by Securitashop if you have signed up for this option.
When logged in you will see like this in your top left corner of your screen – in this case a GT300

your country code in front of the number – for Denmark it is +45
V. Click OK and go back to “Monitoring”
Next step is to send commands into your unit so it can communicate with the platform:
I. Make sure you have set your APN as written in 4.1 – otherwise you cannot send/receive data
II. Send following SMS to the GPS tracker (valid for SS-GT300 only): server,0,193.193.165.165,20891,0#
III. You will receive an “OK”
IV. Wait some minutes for the GPS tracker to go online.

II. Once downloaded enter the connectivity settings as below (below is a SS-GT100). Unique ID is the IMEI
number of the unit.
III. You are all set – go back and click MAP. You should see your GPS tracker on the map.
