AirROC D55 and D65 are down-the-hole drill rigs that
combines simplicity with capability. They are ideal for
construction, surface mining and quarries. They are
easy to transport, set up, operate and maintain.

The low number of controllable functions and adjustments, as well as the swing arm
control panel for tramming and boom positioning, make them operator friendly. The
drilling control panel mounted on swing arm protects the operator away from the
drilling hole and all service points are readily accessible. These rigs drill big holes.
They offers excellent terrainability and reliable productivity.

Strikingly proficient
The AirROC D55 and D65 are small rigs that drill big holes. Perfect stability allows
the use of 3” to 5” DTH hammers, selected according to hole size. Atlas Copco’s

performance in terms of speed, reliability and longevity. With high penetration rates
and low fuel consumption per meter drilled, Atlas Copco’s DTH hammers make a

and D65. The hydraulic system, centrally driven by a steady air motor enables
smooth setup. Powerful air tramming motors with a force of 45 kN (9664 lbf) give
fast tramming. The operating panels are ergonomically designed and user friendly.
Controls for drilling are located directly at the feed, while tramming and boom
positioning are performed from a swing arm panel.

Energy efficient
The AirROC D55 and D65 drill with minimum energy loss. The impact force is
delivered directly to the bit, without having to pass through the drill string. This
gives you constant penetration, independent of hole depth, and brilliant performance
when drilling in fissured rock.
