Death Mage 281 - One statue is canceled, another is built

Gartland’s Dungeons had originally been low-difficulty E-class and D-class

Dungeons.
The God of Entrails Povaz and the other gods who had created the
Dungeons had deliberately made them that way. After all, if they created
high-difficulty Dungeons and a monster rampage were to somehow occur,
the entirety of Gartland could be destroyed.
Gartland was about a third of the size of the Demon King’s Continent.
However, half of that was the underground lake. If a monster rampage from
a Dungeon were to occur and monsters spilled out into Gartland’s surface,
Gartland’s residents would have nowhere to run.
And since Gartland had been built deep beneath the ground, little miasma
came in from the outside, so there was no need to gather and disperse
miasma in Dungeons.
That was why the gods had created E-class Dungeons to use as training
grounds and emergency shelters, and D-class Dungeons where Gartland’s
residents could gather various natural resources and food.
They had also created a single C-class Dungeon to train warriors capable of
defeating the powerful monsters that sometimes appeared from the ceiling
and walls.
These Dungeons should have been sufficient for Gartland’s population, but
with the addition of Zozaseiba and his Titans, the demand for natural
resources grew, and so the gods had created additional Dungeons.
With Nineroad’s plan to gather all of the world’s miasma on the Demon
King’s Continent, the continent became severely contaminated, and the
effects of this had reached Gartland as well, causing all of the Dungeons to
increase in difficulty by one class.
“According to the records of our ancestors, this caused great chaos at the
time,” said a beautiful woman, her hooves clip-clopping against the ground
as she walked.
She had the lower body of a horse, dark brown in color, and the tail of a
scorpion. Vandalieu was riding on her back.
“I’m sure there was,” said Vandalieu. “They needed to gather natural
resources from those Dungeons to sustain their lifestyle, so it must have
caused a lot of problems.”
Before the contamination, workplaces had been safe as long as one kept an
eye out for the odd monster that was about as strong as a stray dog, but all
of a sudden, countless numbers of monsters as strong as bears had begun to
appear in those workplaces. It was easy to imagine the chaos that the people
had faced back then.
“It is difficult even for the gods to reduce the difficulty of a Dungeon after
it has increased,” the woman continued. “However, our ancestors fought
bravely and grew accustomed to their new environment. Now, the gods
have acknowledged our efforts and our strength, and they encourage us to
improve our skills in the ‘Five Gods’ Fortress,’ which has become a B-class
Dungeon. That Dungeon is this place.”
“I see. Thank you for your explanation,” said Vandalieu.
Vandalieu and his companions were currently in the process of clearing the
‘Five Gods’ Fortress’ in order to prove that they were capable of
exterminating the monsters that would appear during the digging of their
tunnel in Gartland.
The beautiful half-horse woman with a scorpion’s tail was Zalzarit, the
leader of the Glaistigs, who was accompanying them as a witness to their
strength.
Glaistigs normally possessed the lower bodies of goats, but she had
undergone atavism which had given her the lower body of a horse, and one
of her ancestors had married an Androscorpion, so that was why she had a
scorpion’s tail.
Perhaps due to this, the race title displayed in her Status was not ‘Glaistig,’
but ‘Pabilsag.’
“It is an honor to be of use to you,” said Zalzarit, concluding this topic of
conversation.
As if they had been waiting for their turn, the other two leaders that were
present began to speak.
“Well then, allow me to explain the history of the Snow Ice Titans. It is a
history filled with great sadness –”
“No, I should speak of the history of the Androscorpion race. The tragic
story of us becoming unable to produce threads from our mouths –”
“What are you talking about! The history books state that the
Androscorpions only lamented their inability to produce threads for a
handful of years, and they quickly adapted!”
“What are you saying! There is no way that could be true! And as for your
people, the history books state that you already lived in snowy lands when
you lived on the surface!”
Zorg, the Snow Ice Titan leader, and Feltonia, the Androscorpion leader,
began arguing, forgetting that Vandalieu was there.
Zorg looked like a yeti, with his long, white hair, beard, and fur, but if one
looked closely, they would see that his face and body were the same as a
human’s, other than the fur and the size. He was wearing armor on top of
his clothing, so from a distance, he looked like a monster like a Snow Giant.
On the other hand, Feltonia was a beautiful, black-haired woman with
glossy, chocolate-like skin, and wore gold ornaments on her body. Her
lower body was that of a scorpion, low to the ground, so the height from
which she cast her gaze was closer to that of a human than an Arachne.
Androscorpions didn’t have small-type or large-type individuals; it seemed
that they were all of around the same size.
“You Androscorpions adapted just fine to Gartland’s deserts, and people
even say that you run faster on the sand than Centaurs! And your
agriculture has been successful, with the use of water from the oases! By
using magic to turn the sand into sandstone, you’ve built a splendid city of
gold in the desert! We couldn’t be more jealous!”
“You Snow Ice Titans have adapted to Gartland’s cold regions, and have
built a kingdom of frozen earth and ice, have you not! It is true that it is not
suited for agriculture, but you live rich lives in your city of ice! You have
domesticated Huge Reindeer and Snow Bears, and you take meat and fur
from the enormous monsters you defeat! We are so very jealous!”
“What are you saying! You Androscorpions are very powerful, are you
not! Many of you are mage-warriors, using the pincers and poison stinger
of your lower bodies as weapons, while casting magic with your upper
bodies!”
“You Snow Ice Titans have exceptional physical capabilities and many of
you are mages who are proficient in the use of water-attribute magic. Your
bravery is spoken of even in the deserts!”
“… Is this supposed to be an argument?” said Vandalieu. “Well, I suppose
it’s interesting to hear the reputations that each race has.”
Zalzarit gave a wry smile. “What both of them are saying is indeed true,”
she assured Vandalieu.
It seemed that Zorg and Feltonia were trying to show off how much
hardship their races were enduring in order to persuade Vandalieu to visit
their city or their settlements. However, they had begun quarreling on the
topic, and this had turned into a strange argument that involved
complimenting each other’s race.
Incidentally, the Glaistig race led by Zalzarit, who was not a part of this
argument, lived in a settlement along Gartland’s walls. As they possessed
the lower bodies of goats, they maneuvered the walls skillfully and mined
ores and other resources, and grew crops on terraced fields using the
underground water that emerged from the walls.
As warriors, many of them were light-armed fighters or archers, and there
were a considerable number of spiritual magic users. They were a powerful
race that was not inferior to the Snow Ice Titans or the Androscorpions.
… Even if humans were to invade Gartland, they would likely be defeated
unless they invested a considerable military force into the attack.
After all, the battlefields would not be in their favor. The Snow Ice Titans
would fight on extremely cold mountains, and the Androscorpions in
deserts. As for the Glaistigs, the battlefield would be a series of steep cliffs,
where humans would not even be able to walk properly.
Each race would simply need to retreat to their settlements, with the
exception of the residents of the town by the salt lake.
It was probably a coincidence, but it seemed that Gartland was in a
strategically exceptional position, unless their enemies were extraordinarily
powerful like the battle-oriented champions or demigods.
“We will have Vandalieu-dono visit us first!” Zorg and Feltonia exclaimed
simultaneously.
“Zalzarit-san, do you know why these two want me to visit their homes so
badly?” asked Vandalieu, seeing that the quarrel was showing no signs of
ending.
He wanted to put an end to the dispute over having him visit before it
escalated.
The reason for that was that it was possible that the two of them would
declare that they would build statues of him. It had already been decided
that statues of him would be built at the Merfolk settlement and the lakeside
town; he couldn’t stand the thought of more being built.
However, it seemed that Zalzarit didn’t have any idea why they were so
intent on having Vandalieu visit either. “I am afraid I have no suggestions. I
have not heard that they have any residents with incurable illnesses or
living in poverty. There aren’t any who are hosts to a fragment of the
Demon King like Doraneza, either,” she said.
Doraneza, the leader of the Merfolk, had been forced to remove the seal on
the Demon King’s mucus glands and allow it to infest her so that she could
help her people and Dediria’s tribe of Majin escape from the Bahn Gaia
continent to Gartland. News that Vandalieu had extracted the fragment from
her without killing her was already spreading across Gartland.
However, there had been no Demon King fragments in Gartland before
Doraneza’s arrival.
Povaz and the other three gods who had been a part of the Demon King’s
army had fled and scattered immediately after the defeat of the Demon
King Guduranis, the source of the fragments. Bellwood and the other
companions had sealed the fragments along with the pieces of Guduranis’s
flesh immediately after defeating him; there had been no time for Povaz and
the others to acquire any of the fragments.
Povaz and the others had not taken part in the battle between Vida and Alda
that came after that, and there had been no opportunity for them to steal any
of the fragments that were under the guard of Vida’s faction.
Of course, even if they had acquired any of the fragments, they would likely
have thrown them away before they created Gartland.
They had not wished for the resurrection of Guduranis, nor had they wished
to amass their own power and become the enemy of every god in this world
like the Evil God of Joyful life Hihiryushukaka or the Evil God of Release
Ravovifard.
Povaz and the others had chosen to wait until they were welcomed by
Vida’s faction, and secretly give shelter and protect members of Vida’s
races until then. With that being the case, any fragments they obtained
would be nothing more than dangerous objects that would see no use as a
weapon.
The same was true for Zozaseiba and the Titans when they joined Gartland.
Thus, there had been no fragments in Gartland other than the Demon King’s
mucus glands.
The only other reason for Zorg and Feltonia’s desperation that Zalzarit
could think of was the demigods of Alda’s forces on the surface, but the
situation wasn’t so desperate that immediate action was needed. It wasn’t as
if they had discovered Gartland’s existence and were planning to invade
today or tomorrow.
On top of that, there was not much of a point in bringing Vandalieu to their
homes.
As Zalzarit pondered the question, thoroughly perplexed, Zorg and Feltonia
finally stated the reason they wanted Vandalieu to visit their homes.
“We won’t let you have the next concert!” they declared simultaneously.
It seemed that they wanted Vandalieu to visit their homes not because they
wanted him to do something for them, but because they wanted a concert to
be held there.
“It seems like Kanako and the others captured the audience’s hearts better
than expected,” said Vandalieu.
With that said, it wasn’t that Zorg and Feltonia had become extreme idol
fans. They wanted to spread the guidance that came with the concerts to
their people as soon as possible.
The guidance improved physical ability, made it easier to raise Levels, and
provided bonuses to acquiring Skills. On top of that, Vandalieu’s guidance
did not specifically target certain types of people; it was effective even on
ordinary people who weren’t warriors or mages.
With improved physical ability and Skills being acquired more easily, non-
combatant civilian work would see improved efficiency, and that would
lead to wealthier and more comfortable lifestyles. Apprentice craftsmen
would improve their craft and become capable workers multiple times
faster; the potential economic benefits were immeasurable.
“But shouldn’t you be saying this to Kanako rather than me?” Vandalieu
asked.
“Yeah! Why are you acting like I’m not even here?!” Kanako complained.
“‘Consecutive Fire!’” she shouted, firing multiple arrows at a horde of
Tyrant Mudmen.
Vandalieu and his companions were in the middle of clearing the ‘Five
Gods’ Fortress,’ a B-class Dungeon, but the only ones who were actually
fighting the monsters were Kanako and the others who weren’t taking part
in the conversation.
“In the first place, why aren’t you fighting, Van?!” Kanako asked.
“Come to think of it, Borkus and Jeena aren’t here, either. Well, I’m having
fun fighting monsters that I’ve never seen before, so I don’t mind,” said
Doug.
“Then can we leave all of the Mudman-type ones to you?” said Melissa.
“Yeah, thanks, Doug,” Privel said in agreement with this idea.
Mudmen were humanoid monsters with mud-like skin and heads that had
no features other than a round mouth lined with sharp teeth. Until fifty
thousand years ago, Tyrant Mudmen were thought to be the most powerful
of them. They were Rank 5 and abnormally weak for monsters in a B-class
Dungeon. And since Kanako and the others were already more powerful
than B-class adventurers, they weren’t particularly threatening enemies.
However, they constantly excreted very sticky body fluids from their skin,
and it had a foul, sludge-like smell.
“No, that’s a little… Shit, I guess I’ll get it over with. ‘Hecatoncheir!’” said
Doug.
“Van-kun is slimy as well sometimes, but he smells way better,” said Privel.
“I’m going to use my Breath!”
“Alright. I’ll keep the blood sprays off us,” said Melissa.
Kanako and the others were fighting mainly at a distance, as they didn’t
want to get the Mudmen’s excretions on themselves.
Melissa cast an absolute barrier with ‘Aegis’ to stop the advance of the five-
meter-tall Tyrant Mudmen.
Meanwhile, Kanako’s bow, Doug’s telekinesis that was controlling
Vandalieu’s arm that he had received previously, and the ice breath of the
Dragon heads on the ends of Privel’s tentacles applied the damage needed
to steadily clear the enemies.
Tyrant Mudmen possessed plenty of Vitality along with Skills such as
‘Physical Resistance’ and ‘Water/Earth Attribute Resistance,’ but even they
couldn’t withstand this fierce attack; they began falling one after another.
“No, we simply thought that talking to you while you’re fighting would be
a distraction, Kanako-san, we weren’t ignoring you…” said Zorg.
“Yes, the champions had a saying – to shoot the general, you begin with the
horse. We thought it would be best to invite Vandalieu-dono in order to
invite you to perform a concert,” said Feltonia.
It seemed that Vandalieu was the horse in this situation.
“Neigh,” said Vandalieu.
“Don’t make a horse noise that sounds nothing like a horse! It makes me
want to turn around and stare at you!” said Doug, who was still busy
fighting.
“But in the end, I’ve been shot. If Van decides the place for the next
concert, then that’s where the next concert will probably be,” said Kanako.
Vandalieu’s decision was needed for holding a concert. Though Gartland’s
first concert several days ago hadn’t needed Knochen as a mobile venue,
Vandalieu’s cooperation was necessary for Knochen to be used and for the
Demon King Familiars that provided the lighting and background music.
The transformation equipment that served as the performers’ outfits had
been made by him as well.
Of course, Kanako would be able to organize a concert of her own if she
had enough time and resources to organize a venue and stage, and prepare
performers to provide the music, but… it was questionable as to whether a
stage would be available in the cold regions inhabited by the Snow Ice
Titans or the deserts inhabited by the Androscorpions.
And Kanako’s time was limited, as she couldn’t stay away from the city of
Morksi for too long.
Though Zorg and Feltonia hadn’t taken all of these things into account, they
nodded and looked back at Vandalieu, who was still riding Zalzarit’s back.
“So that’s how it is after all,” said Zorg. “Then a grand statue in our
homeland –”
“Yes, in the deserts where we Androscorpions live, a large statue –” said
Feltonia.
“Umm, that’s not a good way to persuade me to visit,” said Vandalieu,
interrupting them.
“We will not build any statues, so please visit us,” Zorg and Feltonia said,
immediately and in unison.
“Kanako, do you have any openings in your schedule? If you don’t, then I’ll
sing and dance on my own if I have to,” said Vandalieu.
Zorg and Feltonia had heard about Vandalieu’s reaction to learning from
Mayor Yurak that a statue of him would be built, so they used the promise
of not building a statue as a way to convince him to visit.
“Van-kun has given in right away?! And he’s willing to sing and dance?!”
Privel exclaimed in astonishment.
“… I’d actually be interested in watching that performance. But I have a
feeling that it’ll sound more like a script recital than singing, and with the
stage filled with Demon King Familiars, it’ll be impossible to tell whether
it’s a concert or a horror show,” Melissa remarked.
Despite their surprise, they continued defeating the Tyrant Mudmen. Doug
finished off the last one using Vandalieu’s arm, which had the Demon
King’s claws and was covered in the Demon King’s exoskeleton, bringing
an end to the battle.
“So, you still haven’t answered the important question of why we’re the
only ones fighting, have you?” Doug said, sounding slightly fed up.
As Vandalieu was beginning to plan out his schedule, Zalzarit answered for
him.
“That is because we must check whether you possess the strength necessary
to deal with the monsters that will appear during the construction of the
tunnel,” she said. “I have been told that construction will continue even
when Vandalieu-dono is not here, so we wish to see the strength of those
other than him, just in case. Incidentally, we have heard that Borkus-dono
and the other Undead are all at least Rank 10, so we did not feel that it was
necessary for them to prove their strength.
Monsters that resembled worms, ants, and moles appeared from boulders in
Gartland’s walls and ceilings, and unidentifiable monsters similar to
Mudmen appeared from wet soil. In addition, the soil and boulders
themselves sometimes turned into Golems, and fossils from the very distant
past sometimes turned into Undead.
These monsters were of low Rank; the ones that appeared on a daily basis
were Rank 1 or 2. The members of Vida’s races who lived here trained
themselves regularly, so these were nothing more than small fry that could
easily be defeated.
However, on very rare occasions, there were hordes of Rank 5 Tyrant
Mudmen or Gluttony Worms – enormous ravenous caterpillars. Once every
few centuries or perhaps once a millennium, monsters of Rank 7 and above
would appear.
The ‘Five Gods’ Fortress’ was a Dungeon made for fighting the high-Rank
monsters that appeared in Gartland. It had increased in difficulty from C-
class to B-class, causing it to produce monsters of Rank 7 and above, but
even so, it was the perfect rehearsal for fighting the monsters that would
appear during the tunnel’s construction.
“I see, so that’s why. So the reason Vandalieu fought up until the fifth floor
but then we started fighting after that had nothing to do with the Dungeon
posing no challenge because the bugs were getting too fond of him, huh,”
said Doug.
The insect-type monsters that appeared in this Dungeon had become tamed
by Vandalieu the moment they appeared before him.
As the group climbed a hilly road, enormous woodlice called Gart-balls had
knocked Vandalieu over, then ant-like monsters called Gart-ants had given
him honey directly from their mouths. Gart-worms had wrapped themselves
around them, and Gart-spiders had forcefully taken him to their nest.
Incidentally, all of these monsters had only ever been seen in Gartland, and
they were one Rank higher than similar monsters on the Bahn Gaia
continent.
… There had been no response at all from ‘Danger Sense: Death’ from the
moment they appeared, so it was possible that they had become tamed
before they showed themselves and had only rushed towards him to greet
him like a playful dog.
It was a terrifying thing to think about, but they were currently all inside
Vandalieu’s shadow.
“Well, that was one reason for it,” said Vandalieu. “I think you’ve shown
off your strength plenty now. Should I take over again?”
“No, we’re kinda in the middle of it now, so we’ll keep going until the next
mid-boss,” said Doug, declining Vandalieu’s offer. “My movement has
gotten a little duller lately anyway.”
It seemed that Melissa and Privel agreed with his idea.
“It’s more fun than concerts, so I guess that’s fine,” said Melissa.
“I’m not quite satisfied yet,” said Privel. “And Van-kun! Having four legs
isn’t bad, but just so you know, I have eight!” she added as a jab at Zalzarit.
Zalzarit, Zorg, and Feltonia looked at Vandalieu with surprised expressions.
They were now under the astounding impression that in the outside world, it
was not the shape and length of legs that made them attractive, but their
number!
“Yes, yes, I know,” said Vandalieu.
Vandalieu wasn’t denying it! Was Privel telling the truth?! The three leaders
from Gartland were all dumbfounded.
“I think there’s definitely been a misunderstanding. Well, it’s more fun that
way, so no need to clear things up,” said Kanako as she walked off after
Doug and the others.
Doug and the others would come to regret their decision – the Dungeon’s
mid-boss that appeared before them later was a Rank 8 Absolute King
Mudman, which surpassed the Tyrant Mudmen and was truly the most
powerful Mudman variant, and it was covered in a fearsome quantity of
mucus.
Having proved their abilities in the ‘Five Gods’ Fortress,’ Vandalieu and his
companions began work on the tunnel.
As they would need to fight off the monsters that appeared, the tunnel was
made wide and tall enough so that three Titans – Borkus and the others –
would be able to fight shoulder-to-shoulder without any problems. The
tunnel was easily large enough to fit a two-lane road, but it would be
problematic if the tunnel were to collapse due to reckless fighting, so it had
been made with plenty of room to work with.
However, Vandalieu couldn’t simply stay here and focus entirely on the
tunnel’s construction, so once he made all the necessary preparations, he
returned to Alcrem and rejoined Kühl, who had been acting as his body
double, as well as Darcia and the others.
He then attended a meeting with Takkard Alcrem to discuss the Temple of
Borgadon, which was being built in the former ‘Sacred Wastelands,’ which
had recently become nothing more than an ordinary wasteland.
It had already been decided that the temple’s outer appearance would not be
changed much from its previous appearance, but its interior design,
decorations, and statues would be changed significantly. Naturally, that
would include the living quarters that Goldie and the other Mimic Humans
had used as their den, but also the normal parts that were used by the
ordinary worshipers.
At the previous temple, Borgadon had been worshiped as one of the gods of
Alda’s forces. The statues accompanying Borgadon’s had been those of the
great god Botin and other earth-attribute gods who belonged to Alda’s
forces, and there had also been statues and carvings featuring Alda, the
leader of the gods, and the heroic god Bellwood.
That would be completely reversed, and the new temple would be one
where Borgadon was worshiped as a god of Vida’s faction.
Botin would also still be worshiped there, but the earth-attribute gods would
be replaced by the earth-attribute gods of Vida’s faction. The statue of Alda
would be replaced by one of Vida, and statues of Ricklent and Zuruwarn
would be added as well.
Finally, a statue of Hillwillow, the champion who had been chosen by
Botin, would be built in place of the one of Bellwood.
Up until now, Zakkart – viewed by many as the ‘Fallen Champion’ – had
never been worshiped at a temple on a large scale, and neither had any of
the other creation-oriented champions. At most, there had been carvings
and paintings depicting their mythical history of a hundred thousand years
ago, only at the temples of the gods that had chosen them as their
champion.
This was presumably because of those who worshiped Alda and the
champion Bellwood, who went on to become a heroic god. The influence
they wielded had likely caused people to avoid worshiping the creation-
oriented champions, who had attempted to introduce knowledge and
technology from their own world.
Thus, building a statue of Hillwillow was a bold step from Vida’s faction –
something that Alda’s forces would consider an outrageous act that would
not be forgotten by history. Mortals living on the world’s surface could only
imagine the gods’ reactions to this, but it was easy to predict how other
mortals would react.
Many in the Alcrem Duchy would be shocked, and the nobles who opposed
the duke would likely be able to use it in their political battles. And even
the moderate worshipers of Alda would not be pleased. The duke was no
clergyman, and the people were certain to think that he was merely an
opportunist who would pander to Vida’s faction now that he was done
pandering to Alda’s peaceful faction.
It was a decision that Duke Takkard Alcrem would never personally make.
However, his hair had become more abundant and his skin had regained its
youthful tone recently; he had immediately agreed to the requests of
Vandalieu and his companions.
After all, though this had not been made public, he had the support of
Vandalieu – and by extension, the Demon Empire of Vidal – and thus, he
could expect future assistance in all kinds of forms.
Also, it was expected that ordinary people who weren’t particularly devout
worshipers would quickly adapt, even if they were shocked at first. The
temple of Borgadon would change significantly, but there would be no
visible changes at other temples, and it wasn’t like anything was being
forced on them.
And the clergymen who served Borgadon, those who would normally be the
most opposed to such changes, had all been Mimic Humans and were now
dead.
Thus, there were two problems being discussed at the meeting. The first
was the design of the statue of Hillwillow. Nobody had built a statue of him
for at least the past ten thousand years, so there was nothing to use as a
reference for how a statue of him should appear like there was for statues of
gods and other great historical figures.
Vandalieu had asked Borgadon, Vida and the other gods what Hillwillow
had looked like, as they had known him personally, but no matter how close
to his actual appearance the statue was, there was no point if people didn’t
recognize that it was a statue of Hillwillow.
Thus, it was decided that the statue would depict Hillwillow wearing the
mythical-class equipment that had been given to him by Botin, according to
the legends in which Bellwood was the most prominent figure.
The second problem at the meeting was… the steaks of gray meat served as
lunch during a break in the meeting was the meat of Zerzoregin, the Evil
God of Cannibalism.
The duke remarked, “It was very delicious, but I wish you had told me
before you served it.”
After that, Vandalieu and his group, with the addition of Arthur and his
companions, returned to the city of Morksi after staying in Alcrem for
longer than they had planned.

Several minutes after the carriage carrying Vandalieu left the highway and
disappeared into a forest, the Boulder Colossus Gorn, looked into the skies
from the shore of the Demon King’s Continent with a sour expression.
“… So, they’ve come.”
Cuatro, sailing across the blue sky… and next to it was an enormous sphere
made of flesh, with a Majin man riding on it. And there was also… a
Vampire that was completely unfazed by the sunlight.
“Gorn! Brateo! Madroza! The assumption that Vandalieu-dono intends to
devour Botin’s soul is an extreme misunderstanding! If you stand in our
way for such a foolish reason, then I will show you no mercy, even if we

already pumped up his muscles.
“Personally, I would be more bothered if you didn’t stand in our way! It’s
finally my turn to fight! It won’t be worth coming all the way out here if I
don’t get to go wild!” said Godwin, the king of the Majin inside the
Boundary Mountain Range.
“Big words from someone who’s standing on people,” Legion muttered.
“Zod… To think that serving Vida after her sanity was not enough for you,
and you are now a hound of Vandalieu, who gathers fragments of the
Demon King and devours souls, even those of gods! We are the ones who
will show no mercy!” shouted Brateo.
“You cannot charge in, Brateo,” one of his allies warned. “More
importantly, we must determine whether that ship is the real one or a fake
like last time.”
“But we must enter battle to do that,” said Brateo. “Let’s go. Don’t forget to
be wary of it possibly exploding until we know that it’s the real one!”
And so began the third battle against the demigods of Alda’s forces.
666 – Skill Check
Having checked my stats, I’ll take a look at my skills now. The new ones I
got were [Curse Knight], [Limbo], [Dite], [Cocytus], and [Doomsday
Tone].
There’s a lot of ominous skill names, but I guess that can’t be helped.
Unlike the oneiros, I knew this would be an evil dragon type through and
through.
【Normal Skill [Curse Knight]】
【Solidifies mana into the form of a knight bearing a powerful curse.】
【When the knight is struck by an impact or successfully attacks an enemy,
it explodes, scattering a curse through the surroundings.】
【In addition to applying the Starvation and Frenzied status condition, if
the target’s magical strength is low, the curse can cause death or allow the
target’s body to be puppetted.】
I see…? Rather than producing a knight, it sounds more like it produces a
projectile the explodes on impact.
Depending on the resistance and magical strength of my opponent, I could
combine it with [Berserk], [Death], or [Ruler’s Demon Eye][1] to stack up
status conditions… Status conditions and [Death] tend to feel difficult to
use because they’re only sometimes. I guess applying multiple status
conditions at once makes this skill a little more convenient to use.
But in the end projectile speed is too important, so I doubt it can beat
[Dimension Claw’s] complete lack of travel time. [Dimension Claw] is so
convenient that it’s entirely benched [Wind Slash], which I had been
constantly relying on before. Even if the benefits of hitting increase a little,
it doesn’t matter unless I can actually hit with it. As an oneiros, my attack
power was high enough that [Dimension Claw] felt like it was plenty. As an
apocalypse, I’m even more specialised in attack power.
To be honest, I can’t really expect much of it. Even when hunting weaker
opponents, I’ve never bothered to use [Death]. [Wind Slash] has been
plenty. [Curse Knight]-san will probably follow a similar path of disuse. I’ll
experiment with it later of course, but…
【Normal Skill [Limbo]】
【According to the Holy Guidance, the Holy God and equivalent beings
possess magic that can save those who cannot be allowed to live or to
die.】
【A single Saint in all history once was able to attain [Limbo].】
【A magic skill that sends the target to a dimension where the concepts of
time and space do not apply.】
【It is short range and slow to activate. But, if it connects, enemies will be
forever sealed in a separate dimension.】
S-scary… It sounds like the origin matter’s [Dark Frozen Prison].
But, for this to land I’ll have to already be in a position where I could beat
my target to death. It seems similar to [Wormhole]-san. If I can somehow
set up a situation where I can guarantee it connecting, it could be good,
but… To be honest, I’m not super enthusiastic about the idea of trying to
work around it.
【Normal Skill [Dite]】
【A magic skill that summons the flames of hell and shoots them in a
spherical shape.】
【The flames will continue to burn until the target is reduced to ashes.】
This sounds like another straightforward attack skill. It might be related to
sphere-type skills, but I wonder if it might be more powerful?T This type of
skill’s usability comes down to the MP cost, power, scale, and speed. I
wonder how good it is compared to the easy-to-hit [Dimension Claw] and
the powerful [Gravidon]. Testing is needed for sure.
【Normal Skill [Cocytus]】
【A magic skill that summons the ice of hell, and manipulates it freely.】
【The ice can freeze anything, and will never melt.】
【It rapidly drains the heat from the surroundings, so unexpected damage
may occur.】
【Once the ice has been deployed, it is practically impossible to erase, so
caution is need.】
This one’s ice, huh… It sounds like it might be more usable than [Dite], but
the MP cost is probably going to be a little high for me to count on it as a
main attack.
Well then. The next skill is my last new skill. It’s also the one with the most
unsettling name of them all…
【Normal Skill [Doomsday Tone]】
【Dissolves the user’s vitality and mana to boost attack power and speed.】
【However, the user’s reason is also dissolved, causing them to fall into a
frenzied state.】
【The frenzy will not abate until everything in sight is reduced to
nothing.】
【Even after ending, it is highly likely that some mental changes will
persist.】
【When activated, the force of the mana leaving the user’s body causes a
strange sound to be heard, appearing to be coming from far away.】
【According to the Holy God religion, when the divine messengers use
instruments to signal the end of the world, the sound they produce is the
same as this skill.】
I’m happy for a skill which raises my physical stats, but the downside is
way too big. To be honest, this one’s no good. I can never use it.
Of course, I hate the idea of using a skill that has a permanent effect on my
psyche, but more importantly, there’s no telling what could happen while
I’m frenzied. It’s possible that the spirit servants are only in the Four Great
Monster Domains, but there’s a good chance I’ll be fighting them near
humans. I don’t want to risk rampaging and killing a bunch of bystanders.
In the first place, the cost of losing all reason in a battle far outweighs a
slight increase in stats. Rational opponents are always much difficult to face
than irrational ones.
Lilixira was excellent at diversions and surprise attacks. The hecatoncheir
moved in fixed patterns, but only ever fought in a way that played to its
strengths. Miia attacked with refined movements, but would also defend if
it would reinforce her path to victory. If any of them had gone on a
mindless rampage, I wouldn’t have struggled anywhere near as much.
In the end, even if it increases my stats a little, it’s meaningless if I’m no
longer capable of making good use of them. At the very least, that’s how it
would have been for those three. It’s not a skill I can rely on, even when
cornered.
『Master-dono, you look troubled. Is something wrong?』
Treant asks me, concerned.
『I was taking a look at my skills, but most of them seem difficult to use.
Let’s get going. I need to test my skills and level up. We haven’t got long,
so after a tiny bit of levelling we’ll go back to our world.』
Act 4-10: Aptitude Test
The morning was time for the aptitude test. For better or worse, the number
of examinees was a lot. Without the figure of Roman and Lumine around,
my mind was finally at peace.
However, a part of those examinees engaged in various whispers while
staring at me. They’re most likely gossiping about the incident with that
idiotic prince. Had I known I would become such an attention magnet, I
would have avoided overdoing it. Well, let’s just ignore these curious
onlookers.
The aptitude test ended in a similar way as it started.
The first test was the measurement of my magical power. Since things
might become really troublesome if I, the owner of 『The Most
Incompetent in This World』 gift, had magical power rivalling that of an A-
rank hunter, I set the average of my stats to 1 with 【Glove of Sealing
God】 and managed to pass without a hitch.
The second test was a magic invocation. some people managed to invoke
magic even without the assistance of a gift like mine, though their number
was small. Finding such talents was the reason for this test, as for what kind
of invoked magic, it didn’t really matter. Naturally, I received a sympathetic
gaze from the examiner when I told them I couldn’t use attribute magic and
was sneered upon by the other examinees who eavesdropped. Yeah, their
reaction was as predicted.
The third test was physical strength measurement, a test to measure one’s
physical strength and stamina. It was completed without a hitch since I
suppressed my abilities with 【Glove of Sealing God】.
The next test was summoned aptitude test.
It was a test to see whether you’re liked by a giant dog-like creature with
beautiful white fur. According to the pamphlet, the name of the test
was―― Friendship with Kouma―― that 『Kouma』 seemed to be the
name of that giant dog-like creature.
When a student with cropped hair tried to pet it, the dog-like creature called
Kouma growled at the examinee.
The same went for the next examinee. Rather, no one had managed to touch
the dog-like creature called 『Kouma』 so far. Since they always snarled at
anyone who tried to touch them, the test turned into ‘who could get closest
to 『Kaouma』’.
And the next turn was of the blonde-haired girl with a bob cut, Lumine.

Lumine always loved to fluff adorable creatures. And just as I thought, she
embraced Kouma with sparkling eyes.
Even that 『Kouma』 never expected such a reaction. Though its eyes
darted for a while after that, upon seeing Lumine raise a strange voice as
she buried her face into its pure white fur, Kouma could only heave a sigh
and accept its fate.
Cheers resounded in the surrounding. Rather than being liked, Kouma just
looked dumbfounded. I mean, Lumine did have a mind of steel when it
comes to fluffing adorable creatures. Anyhow, since Kouma had always
brushed off or snarled at the other examinees before Lumine, its current
reaction could be considered favourable.
Even now, the troubled staff of Babel was trying to separate Lumine, who
clung to Kouma like glue, thus ending Lumine’s test.
And then―― My turn had come at last.

「Next, number 【20456】!」

I came forward when my number got called.

Would that dog-like creature accept me? I mean, the only dog-like creature
in that easy dungeon was Fen. And he was the creature of the easy dungeon
on top of that.
This Kouma didn’t seem to be that strong, but it is still the sacred beast
chosen by the examiners from the tower. I did say it didn’t seem to be that
strong, but in the end, it was just my guts, there was no evidence to back it
up. This fella might’ve some sort of hidden power that Fen and co lacked…
right…?
When I approached a Kouma with a smile, who lay on the ground with
boring look――

『Master! I’m hungry!』

Fen, the wolf puppy, suddenly appeared from inside my clothes, his tail
swung happily as he made his usual request. Come to think of it, it was
about time for lunch.

「My bad. I’m a little busy now. Go ask Kyuubi to make your lunch for
now. In exchange, I’ll make your favourite hamburger tonight, Be a good
boy.」

I dismissed him as I brush his head like a child.

『U~h, I’ll do my best!』

「Good, Fen is a good child.」

I fluffed him and added a pat on his head, Fen closed his eyes in joy,
enjoying this moment,

『Instead, I’ll get the hamburger, right? It’s a promise!』

Fen raised his small paw as he told me his usual demand.

「Yeah, it’s a promise.」

Maybe he was satisfied with my answer, as Fen went back into the picture
book immediately. I faced the Kouma again with a wry smile on my face,
due to Fen’s sudden interruption.
Kouma’s jaw opened as if completely dumbfounded, but then, its entire
body stiffened as its gaze met mine. Suddenly, it retreated as if trying to get
away from me, its teeth clattering.
Uhm, no matter how you look at it, it seems to be scared of me. How
strange. I shouldn’t have an outer appearance that made the dog-like
creature scared shi*tless. Though Asta and Zack teased me that my smile
was enough to scare even the demon king, could it be that my appearance
and face were actually atrocious? No, that must be not the reason. Their
senses were just abnormal. Yeah, that must be the reason.
Okay, now let’s tell it that I am not its enemy with this brilliant smile of
mine.

And when the tips of my lips rose up, revealing the best smile I could
muster,

「Lookie lookie, I’m not scary at all.」

I spread my arms, approaching it as I called it with a voice that I use to coax

a stray cat.

『HIIIIIIIIII!』
At that moment, Kouma shrieked in fear, and escaped in a flash, hiding
behind the female, navy-robe-donning Babel examiner. It covered its head
with its paws as if prostrating toward me.
My smile turned rigid,
「Look! That creepy smile of yours even made this child scared! Leave this
poor child now!」

Lumine, who was about to leave the room, ran back with an angry look on
her face and stood between me and the trembling Kouma, as if she trying to
protect it.
Uhm, it seems my skinship plan was a huge failure. This test was to see
whether that dog-like creature liked me or not, and since they ended up
scared shitless instead, you might say that I failed this test.
Well, this test was only a trivial matter that was forced on me by Rose
anyway.
Well, this added even more points to the fact that Zack’s joke about my
smile being similar to a demon king might be true, and I couldn’t help but
feel sad.

「Is the test finished?」

When I asked the female examiner, still bewildered by Kouma’s reaction,

「Y-Yes.」

She nodded and I left the summon aptitude venue.

ARC 10
Darcia arrives in Moksi, and join Van in selling skewers.

Van is bullied by sub guildmaster of commercial guild, but Van doesn't

mind and does what is told, to absolute success, he adopts a mutt now
named Fang, he uses it to get a Tamer license, and grows famous from the
speed growth of his new Hellhound, he then gets 3 Giant Rats from the
Undead Breeding experiments and uses them too. Meanwhile Darcia starts
to preach about Vida, getting famous by Vida priests, but annoying to Alda
ones.

He selected the Job Fragment Bestower, and new races were born from that:
Hell Humans and Beastmen, and Dwargen for dwarves. They are immortal
and were transformed by consuming lots of Van's blood, Luciliano and
Doug, and all the slaves rescued from Hartner long ago are the first
converted ones.

3 new characters appear: Simon, a retired adventurer who lost an arm,

Natania, an adventurer who was betrayed by her comrades and had all her
limbs cut by minotaurs but was saved by Randolph in disguise, she also
asked him to save another person, the third character, Juliana, the little sister
of Duke Alcrem, she lost her limbs plus extras and was raped by the
minotaurs and is holding Eggs inside herself, Van decides to make a
pseudo-reincarnation similar to Pauvina on her and her squad. He also helps
the other 2 by getting them Spirit Form through Guidance and prosthesis.

Van befriends some kids in the orphanage, they want to be tamers like him,
but during a commemoration, he arrives to meet Birkyne, the owner the
Orphanage, Van fights him, we find out he has been completely encroached
by his Fragment "DK's Shadow" and while acting as Guduranis, he thinks
he is Birkyne. Van eats him and Hihiryushikaka.

Van gets the Demiurge jobs, which unlocks the skill "Demi-god" that
bestows "Demon Ascend", Van's equivalent of Familiar Spirit Descent for
every single one of his allies (besides Ban himself). Van also introduces
Zadiris and Basdia into Moksi, who are quite well received.
Hajime Fitun attacks Moksi to get Van, Van's allies protect the town and
fight Hajime Fitun. Murakami's group appears in the middle of the fight to
help Fitun, but are betrayed and everyone is eaten. Van inherits their
abilities + Deathscythe and Gungnir, which Rod gave to Murakami, but
they are embedded into other skills, so they are not usable as is.

Officially, the whole incident is considered as lack of management of a B-

Class Dungeon that nobody knew about. A statue is made for the nameless
heroes (actually Legion) who saved the people of Moksi, Darcia is called
the Saint of Victory for protecting them. They get VERY famous. On
Alda’s side, they were sure that Fitun would win, as a God of War, and
couldn’t believe how he was easily utterly trashed. Their opinion on the
tactic of attacking the whole city as hostage, although bad from a Gods of
Humans point of view, was accepted as a good, but regrettable, plan to
defeat the Demon King.

In regards to Heinz, Mill explains everything she knows about the Demon
King Vandalieu, to convince Heinz that Vandalieu is bad and needs to be
destroyed, but from everything she said, he recognized that he was actually
saving people, and in fact, he was doing a much better job than what they
themselves could. He was also explained about Vida's resurrection, and that
his new "Enemy of Vida" title was given by the goddess herself. He wants
to be able to talk to him about the dangers of DK Fragments, but he needs
power to survive him first. He is still recovering.
ARC 11

Van is called to the Adventurer's Guild. There he is implored by the official

Guildmaster of the Commerce Guild to join them. The Mages Guild also
invites Van to join, the Tamer's Guild was already on, and finally, the
Adventurer's Guild does the same, but now he is aware that Van must have
some Unique Skill that he is trying to hide, which was the reason he never
approached them, and although there are rules and limitations in a branch
office, he will support Van in letting him join without showing his skills to
anybody. Finally, they are asked to visit Earl Moksi, and are told to visit
Duke Alcrem, but Juliana receives an Oracle from Peria with Botin's
location.
Van visits the Gods to show his results on Coke, and asks for what they
know about Peria's Oracle, confirming that the world is round, hence
understanding the meaning of the Oracle, she is at the other side of the
world, which can be reached by going on either direction over the sea. The
Demi-gods and Evil Gods reveal they are jealous of Gyubarzo's staff, and
ask Van to make equipment based on them for his party, so that they can be
seen helping. Cuatro learns to fly and departs towards this unknown place,
but to avoid being seen by Alda, they submerge underwater during the day.

A suspicious group chosen by the Gods of Alda faction decides to go to

Alcrem.

Alda finds out 3 of his gods are acting weird and can't be contacted, nor
their heroes, he guesses they may have been guided by the drawings from
their behavior, but he hopes that's not the case. The Empire's new name is
decided as Vidal Magic Empire (The Kanji for Magic can also mean
Demon). Van and Darcia are preparing to go to Alcrem capital, they get
horses, turn them into demons, and call Kanako over to Moksi, because she
joined the fight against Fitun and Murakami, she is now part of the "Dark
Elf village" Darcia and Vandalieu came from.

Before going they clear the old Dungeon to check on it, this serves as
training for the new horses, Simon, Natania and Kanako's trio that were
called over. Fitun's Dungeon is renamed as Garess' Battleground. Van
returns to report on it, and introduces Kanako, who stays with Zadiris and
Basdia.

3 friends, Carlos, Edilia and Hendricksen, Heroes chosen by Alda's Gods

meet, and 2 of them have heard about the new dungeon in Moksi, and
decide to go there.

In Farzon Duchy, Selen heard about a Dhampir in the Alcrem duchy, and
wants to send a letter, she believes it could be the child she met in Niarki.
The adults, priests of Alda and Vida around her though knows extra details,
like him being a Vida Fundamentalist.
Van receives Dark Elves, a group including Darcia's parents and
grandparents, who now met their grandson and his waifus, their common
sense overloaded upon the meeting. Randolph visited Moksi disguised as a
blue haired bard Rudolph, looking to learn about the Dhampir Van, but he
was already gone, instead he found out about Juliana and Natania, the 2
people he saved before who were supposed to have lost all their limbs, but
seem to have recovered in a strange way, he meets Kanako who answers
some of his questions and invited him to join her. For Kanako's plan,
instead of calling other Ghouls to preach about Vida, she decides to call and
teach the townspeople instead.

Van and Darcia arrive in Alcrem, sell some skewers, introduce Vida races
like Ghouls who he already did in Moksi, plus Arachne, Empusa and Scylla
with his waifus. During the night they meet with Braga, he is now known as
the Face-Stripping Demon and has been cleaning the place. However, it
seems there was an impostor that did the same, but in a much crappier way,
and they are looking for the copycat.

The mysterious trio of Heroes chosen by Alda confirms that the Oracle
received from the gods about the darkness coming was confirmed, however,
from here on out, it will be dangerous for their new friend, and ask Miriam
to leave their party. Miriam however doesn't accept that, since she is their
friend, and they will be lost without her, they saved her life, and she won't
accept any debts, Arthur, the leader and mean looking man understands that
she is a true friend, and accepts her request to stay, but warns about the
danger.

Van stole the DK Fragment in Ricklent's temple left by Randolph, the

Fallopian Tubes responsible for Juliana’s death and rebirth, and finds out he
can lay eggs now, much to everyone’s confusion. In the mansion of Duke
Alcrem, the main Knights of the Duchy are discussing the rumours of the
Dhampir that is coming, since the Face-Stripping crimes also started
recently. The next day, Van visits the Tamer's Guild, but they are not nice.
Darcia also didn't get a good response in Vida's Temple.

They decide to open a stall and sell some skewers to meet the locals, but
ends up meeting the local stall owners that decides on a friendly
competition since Van looks really famous. During their work, The Knight
of Insight Ralmeia was spying on Van to find out some of his secrets for the
Duke, due to limitations of the skill, he could see things slowly, but
understood that Van has some skills like cooking at a high level, that Darcia
was being Guided, that some of the tamed monsters with him like Kachia
have Sword Technique at lvl 7, and then he saw a weird skill called Abyss,
and Van was watching him seeing weird status over him. Ralmeia noticed
Van looking at him and fled absolutely scared, fleeing from the scene, Van
noticed the man just got Mental Corruption and a feeling of someone being
guided, so he let him go.

Then an evil looking man asked for some skewers, and threw him a piece of
paper to meet him at night. Ralmeia returned to the castle and was laughing
as if he had just seen the end of the world and warns Duke Alcrem and the
other knights not to turn into Vandalieu's enemies. At the same time, Cuatro
advanced and found a weird flying Kraken, and Van creates a Flying
Assistance DK Familiar, to help those who can't fly to fight aerial battles.

At night, although others think it's suspicious (Van doesn't think so, because
the man had good muscles), Van does as asked and goes alone (+Gufa) to
meet the man. Arthur, Karinia and Bolzofoy are Hero candidates guided by
Bacias, Zelzeria and Hamul. These 3 gods were used by Alda to spy on
Talosheim, and because somehow they didn't receive headaches from
looking at Van's inscriptions, they continued being used to watch on them,
with Alda not knowing they had been enticed by the drawings. The 3 Gods
ask Van to move to Vida's side, and in regards to the 3 chosen ones, they
will most likely continue as adventurers, and in regards to the 4th unrelated
person, Miriam, she is someone who was saved by them and has been
helping them in deals of the outside world, they have high regards for her,
hearing that, Van thinks that it would be good to have such a common sense
friend himself.

Heart Warriors (Miriam, Arthur, Karinia and Bolzofoy) join the party. You
see, Miriam is the cutest average girl, she is was a 15yo E-Rank adventurer,
she was saved by Arthur, who are all adults well over their twenties, and
started helping the trio who lived all their lives in an isolated village and
knows nothing of the outside world, so now she helped them in their divine
mission, and once she was done, she thought she would be left alone, but
then Van told her that the gods talked really well about her and he wanted
her to be his friend, so now she has the [Friend of the Demon King] title,
and has currently surpassed the realm of B-Rank in less than 1 year since
she met Arthur. She still has some common-sense, but don't worry, it will be
dead soon and she will be just an abnormally adorable girl. She is the leader
of the team and she doesn't understand why they made her into one. She has
got leadership skill "somehow" and is constantly praised by the trio,
although she doesn't think too much about herself, when she asked Simon
and Natania after a joint battle later on, they also agreed that her
instructions have been pretty good. Miriam has been learning multiple
Archer related jobs, so she should be a really good supporter, more than she
herself expects, she talks cutesy, her Transformation Device is cute and
heavily in contrast by the evil looking people around her. With the blessings
of 3 gods + Van, she is growing at a pace faster than everyone else,
hopefully she will soon be an adorable S Rank adventurer and will show
herself in a timid but secure position next to Van against enemies like
Heinz. Have I said how Miriam is cute? She is adorable! Just a little more
for her common-sense to die for sure, but she is even more adorable when
she thinks of abnormal stuff as common sense now!

Ironically the trio had no problems in dealing with the Undead, after all, if
the boy talks with Gods, taming undead should be simple, and after some
conversation, they understood Van's "tamed monsters" as people. They are
native out of common-sense from the start, Miriam just had to accept as she
was used with their weirdness.

They were invited to a Tea Party by Duke Alcrem, Juliana, who was
actually the little sister of the Duke was specially invited too, but before
that, Valdiria, one of the Alcrem Knights finds out the Face-Stripping
Demon (unknown to her that it's just the Copycat) in Knight Goldy, trying
to kill him before he tries anything else, however, he reveals himself as a
Mimicry Human serving an Evil God Zeezoregin, who consumed Evil God
Forzajibar and God of Mountains Borgadon, trapped her in a room with a
God-level poison that can't be resisted for her to remain weak and alive,
then be assimilated later on.
Duke Alcrem recognizes Juliana although she is a half-minotaur now, but
she introduces herself as merely a tamed monster. Valdiria couldn't be found
and Van showed the new races to the Duke, who is nervous, especially with
2 of his great knights out-of-commission, Ralmeia who closed himself in
his room, and Valdiria who went missing. Van however felt someone dying
because Valdiria tried to kill herself to avoid being consumed/controlled.
Van sends ghosts to search, but there was a blocked Area.

Knights Sergio and Brabatieu thought that Van was doing something evil
and tried to warn the Duke, Brabatieu had hired a Spiritualist, and it seemed
that even the spirits were tamed, so Van must have been planning something
against the Duke, but Ralmeia appears to shut him up. Goldy is nervous
since he is the culprit, and wants to consume Van. With his accomplice,
another Mimicry Human, they appear as Goldy and Valdiria, who are
heavily injured, but Ralmeia and Van detect Valdiria to be fake. Van tells
Darcia where to go to help the real one, while the fake eats his arm, robbing
Dark King Magic and Demon King skills, Goldy tries to get support from
the 2 knights against Van, but the duke declares Goldy as fake and
dangerous.

The Mimicry Humans wants to reach Zeezoregin's main body to give him
the Demon King skill (Van already got it again), he makes mimics of older
fakes he created, and also fakes of Van's allies, including Darcia, but the
real one arrives, and the other fakes are significantly weaker than the real
ones. Knowing that the battle will just get worse, Van teleports himself and
Goldy with Gufadgarn away from the capital to where Braga and the Heart
Warriors are. One small Mimicry Human reaches the main body of
Zeezoregin, and Van arrives soon after.

Alda gods are surprised to find out that Zeezoregin is alive and faking being
Borgadon for so long and they had not noticed at all, and now they will be
saved by the Demon King, they can't stand the idea, however, even if they
were to descend there to deal with it themselves, they would just get shot,
and decided to focus on searching for any other Evil Gods that may be
lurking similar to Zeezoregin.
Zeezoregin awakens, with the DK skill he can control Fragments and by
himself can control the power of the 2 gods he consumed previously. His
giant figure can be seen from the Capital, but Van, using the ghosts and
Gufadgarn are able to take most of his power out, Zeezoregin throws
Forzajibar trying to escape, but the robbed skills (skills are part of the soul)
announce that they will be taking over. Zeezoregin tries to save himself, but
it's too late.

Van: Omae wa mou shindeiru.

Zeezoregin: Nani!?

Literally.

Meanwhile, Darcia kills the Mimicry Humans. Van gets his soul fragments
back plus some new DK fragments (Muscle included), but they don't
do what he wanted. The story told was that Forzajibar had awakened, but
was stopped by the god Borgadon, the sacrifice of one of Alcrem Knights
Goldy, and the help of the Holy Mother of Victory Darcia. That's the
official story. Van made a huge golem and some scenes to make it seem like
so.

Van frees Borgadon, who accepts joining vida, and guarantees that Botin
would have done the same. Everything is revealed to Duke Alcrem who
now learns about Vidal Empire, Juliana and many other things, and turns
into an ally (He DOES NOT want to be Van's enemy), getting V Cream,
and also changing the official religion to Vida Fundamentalism. Meanwhile,
Van was finally able to reproduce videos using DK Fragments. Van also
unlocks the Great Demon King. job.

Those Heroic Spirits from Alda are wondering how things will go looking
at the state of things.
ARC 12

In Rod's area, the soul fragments of Guduranis tremble, possibly impacted

by Van’s new job somehow.
Heinz is back, Edgar returns stronger (But seems to have some nightmares
like being killed by Bellwood or hating Van as a faker), they continue the
dungeon starting from the point where it wasn't destroyed yet. He informed
the others about Van, he is called the Demon King, yet is fighting for Vida's
races, he killed Fitun, but also protected Alcrem from an Evil God. Also he
understands that in regards to the new races they found out to be human,
they may not have any away of currently helping them properly, and that
Van is likely the best person for a reconciliation of the races, however they
need to be sure that things would work in the future where Van isn't around
to control the undead with his guidance and/or DK things. Mill apologizes
to Alda as she failed in making Heinz recognize Van as a threat for what he
is.

Rudolph, Carlos and Edilia have been learning from Kanako in Moksi, and
they are very interested in the lessons. Darcia gets a Noble Title in Alcrem
for defeating the Evil God, and now earns the Zakkart family name. The
streets of Alcrem were in feast for the new Honorary Earl, and exchanging
talks in between the stalls.

On the way, they meet Botin Defense Force, a huge group of Demi-Gods
from Alda's faction who thinks/were told that Van is going to eat Botin to
get stronger. Van is called by a mermaid and finds the "submarine" territory
of Gartland, which is reigned by some gods and evil gods who couldn't
meet with Zakkart, or fused and would be refused/killed by Alda. There are
a number of new races there, and everyone is adopted by Vida and are now
they are part of the Vidal Empire.

Knowing that the other side may have a Space Attribute God to stop
teleportation, Van sends a single suicide fake Cuatro to attack them,
revealing the existence of said God. Van decided to be tricky and build a
tunnel to Botin's seal while keeping the fight above as a distraction. Some
time later Van starts a 3rd attack with 4 Cuatros, plus Zod and Godwin on
his side, warning the Demi-Gods side that Van wants to free Botin and not
eat her, the response of the Demi-Gods was attacking them, they decide to
return to trigger the Space God, Gufadgarn and Legion confirm the
blockage but it can be dealt within a few minuts, Van sends one suicide
Cuatro forcing the God to go defensive, and they return.
Kanako is teaching people not from Vida's about music and entertainment
in Moksi, and then gets the Entertainment Guider Job, due to possible
conflicts she worries and talks about it to Van, to which he replies "Sure,
why not?". And with that, she starts guiding people like crazy, and those
guided by her are later easily guided by Van. Even the the disguised “True”
Randolph notices a sudden change that couldn’t be described on her.

Van sends an attack force towards Peria's place, Tarea is with him, the
meaning of the attack is to avoid their Defense Force to join Botin later, and
keep both sides in high alert. Because Peria's side had less reinforcements,
many Orichalcum golems were used, and Van got a lot of Orichalcum
before returning.

During the digging in Gartland, Luvezfol finds a fragment of Marduke's

bones. Van asks Tiamat what to do with it, and she does some Shenanigans
informing him she will give him a son, not a new race son, but a new demi-
god Dragon child. The news is a surprise to everyone, including Van.

After Van was back in Moksi, he got in a small interview with Rudolph,
who left the town soon after, and was not completely guided, but it was
enough for him to know Van is hiding his strength, but still has a good
impression of Kanako.

1 month later, Van starts the 5th attack towards Botin Defense Force while
his clones are digging from below. This time even the new pets and Heart
Warriors who want some training are with him, and Luciliano interested in
new monsters to see. Van eats Sirius with Gufadgarns help, while receiving
an attack to serve as an excuse for retreat. 1 day and a half later, they launch
their 6th attack now full powered, the demi-gods were surprised since all
the previous attacks took time, and this just revealed they were being
played. They are also introduced to Bakunawa, Van's first son, who eats
many of the random monsters being used as bait while being protected by
Darcia and Tiamat. Diana and Talos join the fight too.

Van unseals Botin and some of her Subordinate Gods during this time, and
during a conversation between both, Botin announced support to Van, not to
Alda nor Vida, only to Van, for the mere reason that he is indirectly related
to Hillwillow. When warned by her subordinate gods that she is being to
hasty, Botin warns them she is not forcing them to join her, but if they join
Alda, they will be her enemies. Botin give Van the titles [Goddess
Liberator] and [Great Demon King]. The remaining of Peria Defense Force,
are dismissed by Peria's subordinate god Pargutalta and Peria herself who
has been waiting for such an opportunity, as she was faking sleep all this
time. And both join Vida's side.

Because Kanako is a living proof of being able to move to Talosheim, and

then started being effective in guiding people outside his circle, she is now
the second person Rodcort needs killed, so he, with Alda's support will
offer the following reincarnators: Kill Van or be brainwashed.

Heinz fought Dark Souls-style Guduranis, eventually defeating him. They

meet Bellwood who is hiding under a rock thanks to Jyarodeeps (God of
Sinful Chains, best Evil God), his ability threw all of the hate and sins from
Bellwood back to him and he regrets everything he did, in fact, he wants to
do nothing because anything he does is bad. His pure guidance that he was
so proud off was actually an empty guidance, a guidance that leads
nowhere, and as such is actually bad. He doesn't want to do anything, but
Heinz convinces him that he did nothing bad (without hearing the whole
story, mind you), so he accepts giving Heinz his help by acting as a power
up item, nothing giving his opinion, and just doing what he is told. But
Heinz can't use all of Heroic God Descent without semi-destroying his
body, but this marks the end of the Trial of Alda’s dungeon, and the
entrance is opened for anyone to enter.
ARC 13

Van is training to fight against Heinz/Bellwood (Vida found out thanks to

Vida believers waiting for Heinz). Same for Heinz trying to get used to the
new power, the dungeon is open and useless girl (Selen) visits him too with
a letter to him written by Asagi. During this week of training, he changes
job 4 times, awakening some already powerful skills and gets the new
Unique skill "Inner Body World" from the job Qliphoth.
Katie Hartner, a reincarnator known as Urd, is doing her best to avoid her
father from suiciding himself against Van's forces, she is supported by Rod's
Angels who keep her updated on the latest news about the reincarnators
(censored).

Zadiris got Princess Guider because there were no other jobs available.
After discussing with the others that she may just need to marry Van to later
turn into an Empress, she was convinced to accept. Kanako also casually
proposed to Van, but he tells her he can't deal with such circumstances now,
and asks her to wait for after Heinz and Bellwood are dealt with. Kanako is
now waifu.

Van, Darcia and Pauvina move to Orbaum capital, the children will join the
Elite Adventurer's School, they buy a Haunted House (Selkie), show the
tamers guild he can guild undead and insects, both pass the entrance exam
with flying colors. Randolph is one of the teachers.

Seems like problems are arriving in Origin that will require Van's
intervention.

So now we move back to what happened in Origin in the meantime, starting

back from the end of Arc 9.

ORIGIN ARCS 9~12

Van was called by Zuruwarn to accompany him somewhere, they reach

Earth, where Van finds out what happened to his first family, meets the
Gods of Earth and receives their full blessing (It was just the Dark Gods
until now).

Zuruwarn leads Van to Origin to meet the Gods of Origin, there he meets
Pluto, now a newbie God of Origin, a different Pluto born from the belief of
the people in Origin, and she asks him to help deal with Rod, they are
furious for their world being used as some sort of tutorial to his game, and
now Avalon is researching Death Attribute, which could lead to the world's
destruction. Van accepts to help, and then returns to Lambda, however, a
part of his soul was unconsciously sensed by thousands or millions of
people with negative tendencies, who used fragments of his soul to deal
with each one of them, eventually focusing his attention on a specific soul
that approached him.

He meets Mei, and they briefly meet Metamorph who is acting as Avalon,
and she gets confused. At the parting time, Van makes Banda for Mei and
is tied to her, he can't move over 50m from her. Mei loves Banda (Vandalieu
in baby voice was Banda).

Mei and Hiroshi are kidnapped, Banda saves them and prints the 8th
Guidance marker.

Hiroshi meets Banda, gets part of Murakami cheat (Super MP Recovery),

and Banda starts teaching him No-Attribute Magic to help with his
inferiority complex he has compared to his father. Van also meets Druid, a
braver who seems understanding and helps against Avalon.

Mei is 3yo and has to make her attribute test, after one failure, Banda makes
her test result in Light Attribute, but Avalon deduces and is aware she
probably got something around her (who saved from the Kidnapping), and
must really have Death Attribute. In her birthday, Van also "short circuits"
Metamorph who came to visit as Avalon, but Shaman takes her back, they
find out she won't answer to the brainwashing anymore, so Avalon decides
to experiment Death Magic on her, and that could lead to the death of the
world.

Rod found about Banda by checking Druid's memories, and thinks

Vandalieu wants to make everyone in Origin into Undead to give power to
him and Vida, he tries to send a divine message to Avalon not to mess with
Mei and get his soul destroyed in the process, but Avalon doesn't get it.
Now he tries to send to Hiroto to kill Avalon. Rod wants Avalon to die fast
(not soul broken though) to go to Lambda.
ORIGIN ARC 13
Avalon, to everyone's surprise, including Rodcorte, succeeds, and Mari is
the third Death Mage, Avalon decides he needs Mei to reach his objective
of absolute power and decides that it's time to destroy Bravers.

Banda kills Balor (And encroaches fear on his soul, recommending him to
listen to the angel trio that are seemingly telling others not to fight against
Van), and takes Echo, Mei and Hiroshi in a flying van to Africa to help
Narumi, meanwhile Amemiya meets Metamorph, she killed Sahadeva and
Artemis, and with 3 new limited DA users, kills Ares, also revealing that
Banda is real, and she calls Mei as Mama. Druid unknowingly kills
Sleipnir, saving Asclepius, Sandman and Chiron who are with him.

As a note, besides Druid, we find out Echo, Asclepius and Sandman have
also met Banda due to their own psychological problems in the past and are
friendly with Banda for some time already, they act as babysitters for the
children and help with the vigilance as Banda teaches Mei and Hiroshi
magic. Chiron is described as "Asagi with a sense of distance", he is
actually quite popular with the readers.

Narumi meets Banda and joins his party. Banda goes to the supermarket,
leading to news all around the world about aliens and monsters named after
Balor (Using his credit card for payment), and then rescues Druid's party,
then moves to Mari's party.

Banda and Pluto believers in the Army start a Coup D'état and take control
of the US (New president Sergei), making them NOT attack Banda and
Mei, meanwhile, the Banda Van is getting on the nerves of Avalon, who
made so many preparations for such a ridiculous thing to appear out of
nowhere and ruin all his plans.

Narumi finds out he is the Undead, Amemiya and Iwao are made to shut up
before they make things more complicated by revealing that the Undead is
Amamiya Hiroto just before the main fight.

Amemiya is now a golden super hero leading a group of silver costumed

ones against Avalon's HQ, Avalon takes it the worst, not only some
ridiculous monster ruins all his plans and collects the spread Bravers, now
even they arrive with some ridiculous superhero costumes, that's too much,
and he starts to get crazy. The costumes were made by Banda as magic
items, they are prototype crude ones made to increase Bravers propaganda
(If they are known to have dealt with the problem, after this whole mess,
there is a bigger chance that Mei will be able to live in peace again, plus,
Banda wanted to harass Amemiya as a form of revenge, Banda doesn't care
about them anymore, as in, he is completely indifferent, but to an extra level
in regards to Mei's parents.)

Banda kills Copy while trying to rescue other guided victims, he finds out
he can't break souls as Banda, only as Van, and Avalon announces he will
suicide, and with a Reincarnation System he made (Crude in comparison to
Rodcorte, DK's or Vida, but a system nonetheless), he reincarnates in a new
body he made to be super compatible with Death Attribute, this process also
increases the gap in his Soul and ends up with 80M of MP (Supposedly
because the act of creating a reincarnation system led him into the realm of
godhood slightly, also this effectively took him out of Rod's system,
meaning Rod can't check on him anymore), and now calls himself Ark
Avalon, he is 3m tall and has no hair in all of his body. Ark Avalon starts
shooting dangerous Death Shockwaves that could destroy the whole
continent, so Banda gets some help, and Cthulhu Vandalieu's main soul
arrives by breaking the space to stop the huge Death Dome created by Ark
Avalon, Akira's ending style.

Shaman fights Yikijoro, Bokor, Chiron and Titan, Knight and Issunboshi
fights Narumi and Titan, Ark Avalon and Amemiya meet, Avalon offers
Amemiya half of the world to join the dark side him to fight the Cthulhu
Amamiya Hiroto, but Amemiya refuses and loses the subsequent fight, but
his 9yo son arrives in a 3m tall metal monster suit to save his sorry ass.
Banda arrives too, Ark Avalon finds he himself is a failure compared to 3yo
Mei, since he can't command spirits, and as Banda pins him, and as his
allies lose each of their fights, he escapes by ripping his own arms and legs
thanks to his Fortune.

Rodcorte comments that Avalon has indeed turned into a Demi-God

(though weak compared to Van and the demi-gods of Lambda), and Van
ends up turning into a God of Origin thanks to the President of the US.
Rokudou is able to flee, but Issun-Boshi and Knight are eaten.

Van declares he will take Mei and Hiroshi and all the other Death related
people in his protection, but promises to let the parents meet the children at
least once a month, while Narumi is initially against it, Amemiya accepts
with no complaints considering that Bravers will be unstable for an
unknown amount of time, Van gets everyone into his "Origin based" Inner
World to show his precautions, Van tells Amemiya to talk with president
Sergei as he should be an ally. Van informs the Bravers about the third life
and the situation of the people who died, with little details on Kanako's trio
and Gazer under their request. Mari, the LDA's like Bokor, Gabriel and
Yuki Joro, and the undead and other experiments are converted to Lambda's
bodies (Otherwise they die), Echo joins them, but the rest stays in Origin.
Mei and Hiroshi will also go to Lambda.

Also, Narumi found out near the end that Amemiya = Banda = Vandalieu,
but she didn’t had the time to ask anything, nor Van wanted to answer
anything. Don’t expect much interaction in that regard.

BACK TO ARC 13

Rod was able to recover Avalon and Shaman, but fainted after feeling pain
from the other 2 getting eaten, the angels took advantage of it and warned
the others about avoiding targeting Van. Van and Pauvina are dealing with
school and a dangerous hypnotic weapon called "Principal's speech" that
can make even a Ghost like Orbia sleep. Meanwhile inside Inner World,
Kanako and Gazer are recruiting the 2 newcomer reincarnators into idols.
ARC 14

At the school, Van ends up joining Elizabeth Sauron's party over a

misunderstanding. Some conceited normal guy with the "Magic Eye of
Great Appraisal" didn't notice him, but he wants Pauvina on his party, he
freezes after meeting her and seeing the wall of garbled text and recognizes
that she is much stronger than him. Van warns her to be careful, and the
people from Origin are finally ready for moving to Lambda.

Rokudou wakes up and finds out he can't be reincarnated even if Rod

wanted, besides, he is weaker than Fidirg, but he is still needed since
Bellwood most unlikely to go back into a killing spree that Rod certainly
wants, so they would need to see something about that.

Everyone back at home is happy that Van made friends, the Heart Warriors
were asked to investigate if any Reincarnator appeared in an Adventurer's
Guild. Pauvina and Van have earned respect, Randolph tells Meorilith what
he heard of his feats from "Kanako-sensei". Elizabeth's mother is being held
by an idiot noble, the rest of Elizabeth's party get very friendly towards Van
(Van thinks they are nicer than he thought and condemns himself for his
lack of behavior towards him, this is of course a misunderstanding, as they
were asked by their parents to find out more about Vandalieu). Telkatanis
(Prime Minister of Orbaum) receives a “Divine Message” from a god called
Rokudou who needs assistance to deal with Van.

Heinz learned from Asagi about Van, themselves, and that Van is a God in
another world (There was no mention of Avalon or the truce with Bravers),
Heinz doesn't fully trust Asagi, Selen sends another letter to Van.

Van is recognized as a teacher-like existence by his classmates and teachers,

Eleonora is also officially tamed now. There is a noble party to introduce
Darcia and him to Nobles, and Urd reveals herself to Van. They talk and
from that Van understands a hidden message given by the angels, Rod is
trying to use Rokudou somehow, and now Urd receives a hotline with Van,
while she tries to save her family from Van's "indifference".

Rokudou is leading Telkatanis to create him a vessel with 15DK Fragments,

they got 10 already. Rod is helping, but he doesn't want Avalon to develop,
Rokudou himself wants to be a demi-god and kill the filthy Undead.
Teachers are leaving the school, Randolph and Meorilith suspects Van could
be a Guider, although there are weird variables, Alex is seen as a pervert by
everyone on Van’s side.

Alcrem reforms are catching attention and support from nobles, although
their reasons could be related to Darcia and/or V-Cream, still, this could
lead to a big reform in Orbaum, starting something like a political war, such
is the extremism of Alcrem's reform in adopting more Vida races.

During a school test, Zohna (party member) tries to seduce Van to get info
on him, but Alex tries to look at his status, which are reflected revealing to
Van that he is spying on him, the idiot gets trapped by Gufadgarn, but just
as Van arrives, Randolph does the same, and they are willing to fight to
kill/protect Alex. Nothing much happens after, Alex is forced into a contract
where he must not tell anyone besides his close relatives and party members
about what he sees on his skills, otherwise he will reveal to everyone he has
such ability (Which would be his doom, as he can't protect himself yet),
Randolph witnessed some of his power, and Zohna was actually seduced
back instead.

Rod checked Alex's history to see Van's status, but besides mosaic, there
was nothing, so he will tell Alda the number of skills and digit attributes at
least. Zohna properly tells Van to take responsibility, and pushes herself on
him, as usual, he ends up accepting, but not before warning her that she
should wait more to decide on that. Yuuma (Oniwaka) is going to be
registered in the Tamer's Guild, and Zohna gets Van's divine protection and
Van tells her his secrets. Luvez and Yuuma are registered in the Tamer's
Guild and Van finds out some nobles are making unreasonable requests to
him, so he sends some letters warning them to stop, he also receives the
letter and drops on the spot. Earl Rimsand (Elizabeth's Guardian) changes
his plans and decides to increase the "medicine" on Elizabeth's mother to
better control her.

Schneider kidnaps emperor Mashkzar, while Hiroshi meets some children

from Lambda, like Jadal and Elper (wait?), Kanako and Tarea are working
on mass-producing transformation equipment, and Van is planning what to
write back from Selen's second letter. Schneider leaves Mashkzar with Van,
the kidnapping was actually an accident (Tehepero :p), and causally,
Vandalieu meets Amelia, and finds out about Elizabeth's circumstance. The
next day, he has to be hospitalized too.

The new Emperor Salazar receives word of the kidnapping, plus recent
problematic events caused by Peria and Botin's oracles are giving him a
headache, Meorilith receives Darcia's absence letter that Van will be out for
exactly 1 week because he is being interned in an Asylum. Van diagnoses
Amelia and finds anomalies in her brain, he hopes to properly fix that in 1
week.

The news of Van being hospitalized spread like cockroaches and nobles and
institutions act to take profit or steal as much as possible of it, Van decides
to act more directly in the clinic. Earl Rimsand goes paranoid on Van
aiming to take his women, Kanako makes a show in Alcrem, Duke Jahan
meets Darcia and asks if it’s possible to meet her sick son, she just accepts,
but tells him to be fast (He is working after all). The 4th day starts, the
clinic decides it’s time to give the medicine (Flag trigger), the patients are
getting cured (guided), Van got Amelia, Elizabeth and Maheria to a picnic
inside his body through Sam, and Van got the medicine thanks to Isla.

Van dominated the clinic and forced all the stuff to consume their own
poison-like medicine that can bypass Poison-resistance (it’s treated as
medicine). Elizabeth learns about her mother and earl guardian, and leaves
the clinic for Van to deal, because she knows he will certainly do better than
her. Duke Jahan visits Van, and is easily Guided, plus, he found information
on Telkatanis collecting DK Fragments.

Rokudou revives with 30DK Fragments, and also has DK Soul Fragments
on Instinct and Memory. He wants time to get used to his body, and is going
to make a Dungeon to hide. Edgar noticed something. Heinz told Selen
about his past in Mirg. Noah and Super Sense are living together, but Noah
noticed that the angels are hiding something, and is planning to see what
this is about. If they get affect, she will join Van who at least won’t destroy
the world.

Rimsand is dealt, Elizabeth and Amelia are moving to Silkie where it’s safe.
Amelia only recognizes Van as her husband, and has been accepted by
Darcia. Telktanis wants the Orbaum army to start using DK weapons
provided to him by Rokudou (It’s actually a plan to bait Van out of finding
Rokudou, implying there is some craftsman able to create them with the DK
Materials he’s got), and while the representatives are discussing about it,
Duke Jahan helps Van into seeing there is something mysterious behind all
this.

Van is back to school, but in a single week, the political spectrum changed
too much, Randolph and Meorilith are suspicious, the school is talking
about Elizabethm Alex is frustrated because they are catching up, Vandalieu
explains everything to his party members, and Gufadgarn invades the Royal
Castle, sending Sleygar, Braga and Legion. Rokudou is training, aware that
Van may be coming at him, Van deaves little to be detected, and correctly
deduces that Telkatanis is being helped by Rokudou.

Mashkzar is building his own home, we learn of a recent problem in Vidal

Empire: Vandalieu Addicts, people that are addicted to Vandalieu materials,
but they can’t mutate into new races, meanwhile, some Gods from Vida’s
faction are worried since they don’t have a representative in Van’s wives,
and are considering what should they do about that. It’s time for Van’s
birthday, but Rokudou cannot be found, so the party will have to be
postponed, meanwhile, Van sends a message to Asagi, who is coming to
Orbaum under Duke Birgit orders, and Heinz (suggested by Edgar), with
Selen and others that were on their side, are going there because of the news
related to Telkatanis using DK Fragments, so Van warns them about
Rokudou, and that he is already dealing with it, so get lost, or try a 3 way
fight. Still, they it fails as they go through.

Alda thus learns about Rokudou and tries to force an answer from Rodcorte
who mixes half-truths with lies ends up able half-convincing Alda that it’s
not Rokudou but Van who is dealing with DK Fragments. And thus Van
decides to rent a theater for Kanako’s shows, and Heinz and Asagi arrive in
Orbaum Center, although they don’t try getting into Van’s territory.
Meanwhile Alda’s Hero Candidates are nervous in the Adventurer’s Guild,
wondering what the gods want them to do, and they discuss it with fellow
adventurers and “Hero Candidates related to Vida” Heart Warriors, on the
other side, Van needs ideas to find Rokudou, and seems like Echo gave him
an idea. Van warns Dandolip and Meorilith of the treat, Kanako is with
Orlock, Van finished the transformation devices for Diana and others, and
now it’s time to find Rokudou.

Van paints the whole castle, and finds a Dungeon entrance, Kanako copies
the memories of Telkatanis to Van, so he learns more of the circumstances,
Rokudou tries to temporarily confine him inside the Dungeon while he goes
out for the kill, but Van appears outside thanks to Gufadgarn. The Hero
candidates are being lead by Miriam, the Gods don’t know how to deal with
that, Van analyzes Rokudou and finds out about the Demon King Soul
Fragments and his inability to break souls, and when he decides to get
Rokudou in his inner world to finish the battle without impact on the
surroundings, Heinz and his team arrive to ruin the day, and want to
cooperate with Van against Rokudou, but Van strikes them too, and so a 3
way battle starts.

Isla, disguised as Telkatanis explains to the others that the enemy is called
“Dark Avalon”, Van continues trying to kill both parties, and Rokudou,
trying to shake Van’s concentration, opens gates to his dungeon all around
the capital of Orbaum, leading monsters to attack the people, however
instantly after, Van destroys many of those monsters, and Miriam, leading
the Heart Warriors and Alda’s Hero Candidates, starts destroying those
monsters as soon as the gate appears, and helping people to evacuate.
Others are also helping on their own.

Rokudou is almost killed by Van, but decides to release his instincts, tries to
kill Kanako who not only survives, but completely and absolutely
humiliates “Weird Nose Man” on his face (With the DK’s Nose, Rokudou
had many human likes noses on his limbs, chest and back for Air Cannons).
Due to his instincts, Rokudou is now stronger and sometimes refers to
himself in a different way (Like Guduranis) frightening the monsters so that
they work more to kill, he also can release Air cannons capable of
dissipating magic, and Heinz decides to attack while Van watches. The
evacuation progresses, and Selen is evacuated into Duke Jahan’s shelter.
Kasim, Zeno, Fester, Gerda, Gaol and Katia also reappear as a party.
Godwin, Borkus, Jeena, Zandia are rescuing people, Knochen is with DK
Familiars and one invades the gates for an unspecified reason. To protect
the people around the castle from the sudden arrival of monsters, Isla
reveals herself, and gets the Elected King to understand better the situation,
plus, evacuate everyone. Luvezfol is worried that Rokudou could cause the
tamed monsters, Vida’s races and even Legion could have been affected by
Guduranis sudden instinct that increased their violence, he is protecting
Reinhard, discusses the situation with Vigaro and Legion, who are working
separately in multiple missions. Luciliano is trying to save the idiots from
Alda’s temple and ends up in the same place as Asagi, the evacuation is
reaching its end, and Darcia thus descends Vida, thanks to Jane Doe’s
Teleportation Gate, she informs them to go for safety, and thus Rokudou
failed to get a hostage.

The fight continues, Kanako takes Daiana and Jennifer out of the fight,
because Rokudou is using them as a shield against Vandalieu, once they
notice that their presence is helping Rokudou, they reluctantly fall back,
Rokudou prepares to call all monsters to use as a trump card, but all of them
are actively being killed everywhere, and Darcia/Vida arrives. Guduranis’
memory remembers that Bellwood killed him before after descending Alda,
he knows the power of a Great God, and if Darcia is here, the bait that is
Five Colored Blades will be useless. Heinz also agrees that they should
retreat, he thought Vandalieu wouldn’t be able to win, but with Vida here,
that’s not the case anymore, but Edgar surprisingly advances and attacks
Rokudou, who instinctively touches Edgar’s soul, and absorbs the Soul
powder of Guduranis, eventually convulsing until he announces that the
Demon King Guduranis has been revived.

Edgar and Rokudou are absorbed by Guduranis, Vandalieu confirms

Guduranis intentions and after an amicable talk, they turn to kill each other,
Heinz is useless, because Guduranis knows all his movements thanks to
Edgar, eventually, he decides to liberate a potential ally who has been
enslaved by Vandalieu, unsealing Luvezfol from his Wyvern body back into
that of his True Dragon God form, Pauvina tells him to hit Guduranis, and
he gratefully attacks the one who unsealed him thinking that he would be an
ally, with Vandalieu’s help, the breath attack of a Demi-God Dragon hits
Guduranis in full, however, there was not enough damage. The second
attack however is defended by Guduranis using one of Edgar’s Skills,
revealing that he has access to the Status System with Edgar stats, by using
Avalon’s cheats, he uses the ghosts of the reincarnators loyal to Rokudou,
that reveal to be in an insane state of believing that Guduranis and Rokudou
are the same person, and fights while trying to rapidly raise his skills,
eventually revealing the Demon King’s Brain fragment that he has.

Vandalieu and Guduranis start a physical battle, meanwhile, he releases

multiple Artificial Spirits with Shaman to kill the other allies. Heinz
prepares to fight the Demon of Fire and Death Malacoda, the others take on
the remaining ones, not even considering ever helping Heinz’ side. The
people on the ground heard the announcement of Guduranis, only the
adventurers and knights remain, so in their confusion and panic, some of
them stop fighting, while others are more determined. Asagi, as someone
who is unable to keep quiet, shouts out that Guduranis revival is certainly
Rodcorte’s fault, he also talks other shit, seems to feel murder intent when
Kanako is mentioned, and Natania considers ripping his limbs off… At
least one. That loud mouth however was useful, some people heard that,
and although Rodcorte is not a known god, eventually it reached some
people that heard of him, Alda’s Hero Candidates, who had received
Oracles asking them to pray to a god with such name, were confused on
how their patron gods would be related to a god that someone that knows
this god said is responsible for Guduranis revival. Confused and agitated,
the candidates are almost fighting in between themselves, until Miriam
gives a great speech, and they join her to defeat the monsters for now.

Darcia, Isla and Legion easily kills the Demon of Earth and Death Tai Sui,
Randolph is losing against the Demon of Wind and Death Pazuzu, and is
worried that no one is coming to support him, Darcia’s group that were
coming to help were then taken by the Demon of Death Guduranis Shadow,
Kanako is receiving support from Knochen against the Demon of Water and
Death Vepar, but a bone sword appears from a teleportation gate sent by
Gufadgarn, and he is able to recover ground. Pauvina is losing against the
Demon of Light and Death Gnosis, but Luvezfol, now in his original form,
finds out he can still use the skill he learned, and with Demon Ascend,
easily finds out the truth of the enemy, and they kill it. Only Guduranis and
the Artificial Spirit named Guduranis Shadow remain.
Heinz is having problems with Malacoda. Now, what matters, Vandalieu is
having a physical fight against Guduranis, who thought he had the
advantage, but then Vandalieu showed that wasn’t the case, by copying
some of Rokudou’s spells, he showed that he also learned, and then
although Van is using a lot of mana, so is Guduranis, and after dealing some
damage at the expense of ridiculous amounts of mana, Guduranis thought
he would win, but reinforcements arrive, and Vandalieu sucks Zadiris (for
blood, to recover MP) while everyone else keeps Guduranis busy.

As the find went through, a DK Familiar was ready to change jobs, but the
2 that he has chosen next instantly maxed out. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Guduranis felt
more pressure from the random demons and guessed out that Vandalieu
learned new skills… No, a new job. Randolph got reinforcements, but
Kanako is jealous cause Zadiris got a kiss mark, then Basdia got it too, if
things are going in order, she will have to wait a lot. Jeena, Zandia and
Borkus, who also got bloodsucked, remain with Van, to Guduranis
annoyance since although they can’t kill him, they are obstacles to reaching
Van who is just having lunch. He tries to summon more spirits considering
more of them just died, but he receives a surprise long distance attack from
Heinz/Bellwood, who not only destroyed Malacoda who they were fighting
against, but also some of the Artificial Spirits he just wasted his power to
create.

Thus he is in a panicked state, but Van decides to just end this since he
wouldn’t like the 1 in a billion chance that Heinz could interfere and take
the prey. Van releases a new spell that triggers Guduranis’ “Danger Sense:
Death” to everywhere around him, causing him not only to absolute panic,
but also to fear everything, using Edgar’s instincts was the only way to
support himself in such a situation, and he tries to attack Van, not to kill, but
to take his Fragments back, however… The fragments refuse, and suggest
Guduranis’ fragments to join instead, inflicting terminal internal damage
against Guduranis, who tried to leave, but finds out his hijacking of the
fragments failed, and is being hacked instead. After bluffing that he would
be back after being consumed, Van finishes eating his, Rokudou and
Edgar’s souls, getting all fragments, body and soul. Vida praises Vandalieu,
giving him the titles of Savior and Demon King Slayer, his mana jumps
more 20B, and he gets all the skills from Rokudou and the ghosts that were
also eaten.

Since Edgar is dead, Heinz lost his friend, but doesn’t blame Vandalieu, he
explains his plans for negotiating his life after the death of Rokudou, and
Van is positive towards his request on leaving the others, just taking him,
and his holy sword, without a fight. But Heinz believes in Guduranis bluff,
and can’t believe that Van, who he thinks is not a god (Van is not happy
when he is the one saying it), won’t end up in the same situation as
Rokudou and Edgar. Van gives up on negotiations and decides to attack
with the help of everybody, and at that time, a powerful wind storms in, and
as soon as it’s gone, the 4 Colored Blades are gone. Vida explains she felt a
strong Wind Mana, likely Nineroad descended for a moment to rescue
them. Since the fight is postponed, Vandalieu wonders what to do about the
city who is mostly in rubles, but all the shelters are saved.

Rodcorte suffered from having 7 souls killed, plus Alda gotta be pissed, as
he is dealing with the pain, Alda appears, and stabs him in the face. To
Alda’s surprise, the pile of law worked, he did it out of anger, but this
means that Rodcorte is a God of Lambda now. Asking his angels (Oracle),
he ponders if leaving him like that will cause any problem, after being told
that they can manage for some good amount of time even without Rod,
Alda decides to leave Rod like that, and plans on Heinz returning to the
Amid Empire, to fight against the threat of the Demon King Vandalieu,
although Edgar’s loss was high, at least Heinz seems to have understood the
danger of Demon King Vandalieu.

In Orbaum post war, Vandalieu is fixing a lot of stuff, the Alda Hero
Candidates are confused on why the 5CB are gone and not returning, why
they tried to attack the “Savior” just after Guduranis was killed, and having
to deal with the processing of materials from all the monsters around…
Meanwhile, in the new Bone Palace that is being used for meetings of the
Orbaum politicians, “they” have to decide on what to do, the Elected King
basically says they will offer whatever Van wants, Van’s main demands are:
allow Vandalieu to revitalize the slums, and help with degrading the Five
Colored Blades reputation. Also, no politician shall resign, at least wait
until the city is rebuilt, otherwise it will just be annoying. So although some
nobles and priests of Alda (and Vida, pfff) complained about this
preferential treatment, specially Alda’s temple who would have to
depreciate their heroes and themselves, Randolph and the other ministers
explained to them that Vidal Empire is ridiculously stronger than whatever
they can do, and whatever they want to try shall be considered as suicide.
When everyone stops complaining, they continue the meeting.

Meanwhile, Vandalieu finally arrives at the Job Changing room, and finds
that he turned into a Job. He selects the new job, after accepting that the job
is pretty much the same as his other Divine Jobs, as in, Vandalieu is now
recognized as some sort of Unique Famous Personality by the God of
Status. After suffering from the incredible instantaneous Growth Spurt that
was worse (but much faster) than the one he had in Arc 9, it’s maxed, and
he selects True Demon King, which also maxes, and then the Yin Guider
Job, awakening his Guidance from the already awakened Manas-Vijnana to
the new Alaya-Vijnana Guidance. There were a bunch of awakenings, and
his overall ability values, Agility is minimum at ~450K, Intelligence is his
best at ~650K, Vitality surpassing 1M, and Mana almost at 200B.

Meanwhile, at the side of the continent, Heinz receives a message from

Nineroad, meet the Pope from the Grand Bigot Temple, to get Alda’s
message, he is forced to leave Selen in Orbaum (to die, not really, she is
super safe).

1 week later, the city is recovering, partially thanks to Van. Selen and her
escorts return to Farzon, also thanks to Van who got them a carriage, many
people in Orbaum are getting used to the new races, Demons and Undead
around, with some of the rescued humans even going as far as wanting to
work and live on Cuatro, or work on Silkie, even if it’s required for them to
turn into undead (These are stopped). Miriam found the Heroic Guider Job
in her list, and Elizabeth finds out Van nominated her (with some pressure
in the Adventurer’s Guild) for her party, including Van and Randolph
accompanying them to map the dungeon out. Why get Elizabeth to this job?
To power level them, because when they return to school, they will be able
to take first place for sure. The famous Demon King Slayer, Savior, and
Emperor of a whole country, Vandalieu, will go back to school until he
properly graduates, to Elizabeth’s surprise.
Weeks pass, Orbaum is recovering, the Dukes go back to their duchies, so
that they can decide how they will decide to deal with Vidal, and to send
supplies to Central Orbaum. The gods (Vida’s faction) all send Oracles to
everywhere they can that Guduranis attacked Orbaum, but was defeated,
and this shall be a new holiday for all religions (Vida’s faction). In regards
to Vidal, some Dukes are positive, some are negative. Alcrem confesses the
truth about the attack with Sauron in the Scylla Territory, and when asked
why did he made such a secret deal without telling anyone? He blames it all
on Dark Avalon. Duke Birgit, from the duchy where Vida is the majority
religion, joins Alcrem in pro Vidal, while Farzon, who supported the now 4
Colored Blades says no, and that they will stop interacting with anyone who
accepts Vidal. Hartner reflexively joins Farzon, but Katie Hartner (Urd) and
Belton Hartner make sure to convince him otherwise, at the same time, in
the heavily Alda fundamentalist Duchy of Jahan, Duke Jahan who secretly
moved to Vida once he was guided by Vandalieu arrives with the emperor
himself, and makes his arguments while keeping an Alda stance, their
intention is simple: Use guidance, while Van tries to guild the nobles,
Kanako, Zadiris and Miriam will guide the population. However, Elizabeth
requests Van’s help, arriving there, he finds out her other half-brother
Veedal Sauron doing dogeza at her feet, it seems he had gone crazy, sent a
letter to Rudel Sauron to give his position to Elizabeth, surrender and beg
for his life, meanwhile, Veedal is begging for his life. Also, somehow, and
for unknown reasons, many higher up Alda believers in these duchies…
Are gone, moved elsewhere, it’s suspected it may be an Oracle from Alda.

Back to Veedal, seeing his poor desperate state, Elizabeth gives up on her
revenge plot, he tells her he will help to make Rudel give her the Duchy, but
she doesn't care about it already (Her mother is marrying the top person
from a bigger empire, ffs), Telkatanis will be publicly executed, and in
regards to Sauron, if Rudel does give the duchy to her, he recommends her
to accept in name, and they can find someone to take care of the politics. In
another place and time, discussions happen, Rudel learns despair, he gives
the throne to Elizabeth.

The duchies are all presented, and they gotta give an answer. As we know,
Alcrem, Birgit and Hartner are pro Vidal, and Farzon is being a fag.
The other duchies end up as: Alsabah declares neutrality, Jahan too, but will
likely end up as pro-Vidal in some time. Corbit, Dison, Zectoir join in.
Because Farzon was being a fag and refusing to interact with anyone that
goes pro-Vidal, Pilchikov decided to go Neutral to be able to interact with
both, but Farzon told them they won’t interact with no filthy neutral, and so
Pilchikov joined in. Rext didn’t know what to do, but got pushed by Birgit
and the Vida’s races in his own duchy, and joined Vidal, tough by pressure.
So Farzon is the only fag in the end.

Meanwhile, in the DK’s Continent, Van used DK’s Memory to find the
remains of the former gods, while Diana experimented her new clothes
(Transformation Equipment), she acted super cute (a reminder that she is a
mature sexy giant lady) and eventually they find one of the Giant God
Zerno’s remains. With some blood, bones, flesh, and important internal
organs (DK’s Brain) from Van, she ate everything + Zerno’s bone, and
announced Vandalieu’s 2nd child.

On Rodcorte’s Divine Realm, we find out Alda left after taking Guduranis’
sealed soul fragments with him, and leaving a Familiar Spirit to monitor his
situation (And to not let the angels to help Rodcorte), meanwhile they are
away, maintaining the system after the many errors from all the guidances
happening in Orbaum, and Zuruwarn confirming the situation, the Angels
tell him how they are dealing with the problem, and that for now, that’s how
they are buying time and not telling anything to Alda.

In Origin, the world is still in political turmoil, the two countries related to
Rokudou’s hideout are in civil war each, Bravers are working with the
United States to stop any extra inciting on their war, while not being able to
stop the wars themselves, as that’s an internal matter. Amemiya is depressed
because world peace is impossible, and seeing the chaos in this world
caused by none other than themselves, he wonders if he wasn’t too eager (in
playing hero I suppose), meanwhile, President Sergei is on a cleaning spree
of Rokudou’s supporters all around the Globe while spreading his new
religion: 8th Religion, based on 8th Guidance, he is building monuments,
arts and wants to incentivize all sorts of media, while also rebuilding all the
government (the test to be accepted is “Have you met God in a Dream?”),
and spreading misinformation on Death Attribute Magic to make the people
who still want to be immortal lose their hopes, and as such, Mei would be
able to live without being targeted again, and for that, he is actually
releasing magic items with Death Attribute magic helped by Vandalieu to at
least support the excessive demand, while serving as proof for their lies
about researching Death-Attribute. The chapter ends with Druid, Sandman
and Asclepius, the ones who are guided and get to talk with Vandalieu in
dreams, who will get the whole explanation of what happened to Rokudou,
and Amemiya, who recognizes that he can’t be “impacted”, thus he will
never meet him in dreams like the others.
ARC 15

Vandalieu was summoned by the Gods, after some meltdown with Botin,
they revealed about the Circle of Reincarnation to Vandalieu, who
understood all the details of the system, shocking even the other gods. Once
he returns, he founds out that Eisen had Ranked Up into an Yggdrasil’s
Sapling, a giant big tree taller than the castle, causing Luciliano to grow
hysterical as he narrates all what you need to know, Eisen shows she still
has a normal form that grew out of the giant tree, and Bellmond reminds
Van that he may need to explain this to the neighbors and government.
Reinhard and Luvez are doing patrol in Orbaum, a beautiful friendship,
meanwhile Van, Luciliano, the Vampire trio and others are checking on
Eisen’s conditions.

Vandalieu started rescuing people who received Oracles from Botin, Peria
and possibly others, but who were imprisoned without the truth being
known outside. At the same time, Jahan’s is seeing more people converted
to Vida, although not everyone, it’s still progress.

Meanwhile, the Subordinate Gods of Botin and Peria are facing an

existential crisis, their patron gods joined Vida, and are not even calling for
their former gods to return to them, meaning: You are enemies now. They
don’t know what to do, but they also think that Vandalieu is dangerous, and
after Guduranis revival, they don’t know what the fuck are both sides
thinking, but for now, they decided to ignore Alda’s instructions of raising
Heroes to fight Vandalieu, and are trying to keep themselves away from the
batlefield, and Alda can’t punish them as Orbaum is being taken over,
meaning, Alda’s Power Recovery is slowing down daily, while Vida’s is
increasing, and he needs to save his power for the final fight.

Some of the vampire remnants that fled after Birkyne fell reappeared, and
after a “Submit or die (and then submit)”, they found out Isla had Ranked
Up to a No-Life Queen. The former emperor Mashkzar has been living his
slow life isolated in one of Van’s Body Worlds, but recently the crops and
animals are turning into monsters after a ridiculously large tree appeared on
the horizon. At the same time, Schneider is spreading non-public facts and
some rumours in Farzon, like Heinz returning to Amid Empire (confirmed
fact), and that maybe he was always planning on going back to his home
place even after having received so much help from Duke Farzon. As the
party reunites, they share information, Dalton explains that the
Adventurer’s Guild is actually happy with the extra hands, Lissana searched
for Gods willing to change sides, although she was trying to still remain
somewhat hidden, but got nothing. Meldin found out that Duke Farzon and
other nobles are acting as fanatics towards Heinz, Alda and Bellwood, the
behavior is similar to Undead in regards to Vandalieu, plus, Selen is being
treated as a Saintess, and they wonder if they are planning to use her against
Darcia, Schneider considered kidnapping but game up, she wouldn’t like
being with Heinz’s enemies anyway.

Meanwhile, Eleonora and Bellmond asked Basdia for tips to turn into
Queens, because Isla got a pretty neat rank name, but they stop after
realizing that Isla actually had subordinates and thus was more of a queen
than they are.Bellmond gives up, she will remain as a Butler, Eleonora will
think on something else.. At the same time, Vandalieu receives the title
“Self-proclaimed human” and goes into shock, he is together with,
Elizabeth, his older (step)daughter, Bakunawa his first son, and the recently
born Aradia, daughter of Vandalieu and Diana. When he wakes up,
Elizabeth tells him to be more confident, so as to try to at least keep his
monstrosities hidden, however, Basdia, who vaguely heard that, seems to be
tired of Van’s childish behavior in denying that he is not just a human
anymore, and wants him to face off reality. Basdia is super waifu material
right there.
In the Amid Empire, the Emperor, Salazar Iristel, announces that Amid
Empire is now being returned to Alda. The Pope and Heinz are by his side.
The Era of Men in the Amid Empire is over. The Amid Empire is over, the
Amid Sacred Empire is on, Aradia curiously awakens the power of her
Magic Eye, causing a giant eyeball over the moon to appear, wanting to see
the person who is her father’s enemy, but Heinz, seeing it, calls Bellwood
and attacks it, but the people who were insecure about the changes, are now
claiming in favor of Heinz. Aradia is safe, but the blinding light got her a
little dizzy. In a later date, reports on the changes, mostly on the now
acceptance of Vida’s Races in Amid Sacred Empire, but Heinz is
unsatisfied in having gotten acceptance by using Bellwood, he wanted to
properly explain to people rather than get their support in such a forceful
manner, the Pope Eileek tells him not to worry, the effects are the same, he
is now a Hero of this Empire after all, but the former Emperor Salazar
ponder how can he be a Hero if he didn’t beat anything, it was that
Vandalieu after all.

The political scenario changed significantly, and a conference over the

politics of Vidal Magic Empire are decided in regards to the recent news.
They understand that the current policies will likely cause the Empire to fall
in a short amount of years, meaning that Alda is aiming to get enough force
to attack Vidal before that time. They also understand that Heinz is merely a
guiding puppet for Alda and Eileek to get support. He will also be soon
graduating from the Hero School after half a year. Orbaum is ready for the
first civil war, all 11 vs Farzon, meanwhile, it’s possible that the other
nations under Amid may consider this turbulent time to act for
independence, which could lead to another civil war in Amid. And in none
of these, Vidal will participate.

New Gods from Alda’s Faction join Vida, Van finds a weakness in himself
that is quite bothersome and needs to find a solution, meanwhile, one of
Vandalieu and Luciliano’s long researches seems to have achieved results:
Necroborn, a new race between a living male and an Undead mother
(including Ghosts). In Orbaum Vandalieu, Elizabeth and Pauvina are also
graduating from the Hero Preparatory School, but now Elizabeth will
inherit the Sauron House, and although a proudful little lady, she worries
that she won’t be able to do it, however, her friends, and Van, remind her
that she is not alone.

Miles once said Boss could move the Boundary Mountain Range. The
Boundary Mountain Range goes vroom vroom. Van is kissing drinking
blood from the usually forgotten girls, Tarea made sure this was their
exclusive time. Bone Man ranked up into a Hell’s Divine Emperor’s
Skeleton Knight, forcing Van to admit that he is “Divine” to not ruin his
mood, at the same time, after the panic from Sauron’s side, the Gods sent
Oracles calming them down, and now people are praying to Van as a God,
so he decided to spread the responsibility towards other gods so as to make
it not his sole accomplishment. The new mountains are renamed “Ark
Mountain Range”.

In Mirg, it was complete panic, monsters overflowing from the devil’s nests
since nobody knew of it in advance unlike Sauron’s side, Alda sent an
Oracle explaining this is part of the Demon King’s power, thus people now
fear the Demon King, and hopefully, they will unite, however, Alda’s
Faction believes that Vandalieu is just a reincarnator who absorbed the
Demon King, and not really a God. (Important to remember, Gods can also
be powered up by fear).

Vandalieu is resting, with the remaining girls that want to be sucked (or are
forced onto him by her superiors), and explains the security matters in
regards to Ark Mountain Range. Mirg also survived thanks to the Hero
Candidates reinforcements, this also showed the power of the Sacred
Empire to the Vassal Nations, also, the elite warriors of Mirg have started
receiving blessings, thus any talks of independence are now nothing but
utopia. Alda is forcing Rodcorte onto giving blessings to all his Hero
Candidates, and Rodcorte is now allowed to say anything, or Alda will
pierce the stake on his face again, thus Rodcorte can’t even warn Alda
about his own familiar spirits who are working independently. And finally,
with the direct blessings of Vida, Elizabeth is crowned as Duchess Sauron.

Mari has created a new body for Bacias, Orbaum is recovering better than
how it was, with Demons and Undead, who ensured that, moving the
Mountain Range? Pfff, easy peasy for that person. And Vandalieu makes
some small conditions to allow for embassies at and from the Duchies, two
of them is to allow Vidal to support them in case of war as an ally, and the
other is to stop the label of “Vida Fundamentalist” that was attached at them
by the the fags from Reconciliation Factions, since Darcia can confirm with
Vida own words, no one else can claim their are the religion that follows
Vida’s teachings the best, thus, no more “Vida Fundamentalism”. After that,
many revelations were made, including about reincarnation, the territory
and so on, fortunately, Duke Birgit played a risky game, and won against
the other Dukes. Although he had prepared many things to gain Vidal’s
trust, in the end, it was much easier than expected, and while talking with
his confident Knight Bombarde, understanding that Asagi’s group are likely
reincarnators too, since they are not doing something convenient, and they
are adventurers related to the Guild, outside his jurisdiction, Birgit decided
to not do anything about them.

On the other side, Vandalieu and Pauvina finally receive their Adventurer
Ranks, and so, the Demon King Slayer and the Dragon God Tamer… both
get S Class from the start. But only those two, their respective parties
declined (They actually didn’t get the chance, but Van was suggesting using
his influence), saying that it may be slow, but they will catch up, and the
conversation was good, but Darcia made sure that Vandalieu checked the
letter he received from Asagi… Obviously, he didn’t want to do it, he tried
to evade it more than he did with Heinz, he knew it would just be
annoyance, so they should just go and eat something, but nops, gotta check.

Meanwhile, in a certain inn, Asagi is currently in shackles, the ones who

did it? Clairvoyance and Ifritah. Why? Asagi tried to go after Vandalieu
with a direct talk (with a small threat), and left only a letter to the two
explaining what he was going to do. By “Fortune”, the two found the letter
immediately after Asagi left, and they captured him. Pluto and Mari soon
arrive with the “reply”. After reading it and the 4 trying to get him to
understand the circumstances, Asagi announces that he will try to think of a
solution more fitting to this world that he ironically doesn’t really know
much of.

Rod’s angels are calmer now that Asagi survived this event, and resume
their work while Alda’s familiar spirit who is wary of them from sending
info to Vandalieu. Ironically, Asagi is treated by Alda as Vandalieu’s ally.
Noah and Super Sense who are living far away learned of the events almost
2 months later, but are not moving, thanks to that, Alda is also not doing
anything directly against them. Gods from Alda’s Factions are raising many
“Trial’s Dungeons” for their Hero Candidates for the sake of training, the
gods believe that once they defeat Vandalieu, everything will go back to
normal, including the enemy gods recognizing their loss and joining their
side. Alda himself however recognizes that, although Heinz is able to
improve his affinity with Bellwood, that strength is still not sufficient, and
will try to work something with the DK Soul Fragments in his hands. Eileek
Marme is following Alda’s new plan, and by “taking in” people with some
specific characteristics, is forcibly descending Heroic Spirits into their
bodies, similar to how Fitun had done before. On the other side, Bacias,
now with a body, meets the Heart Warriors in person, and declares that
now… she wants to sing and dance too!

Van recognizes that he has no way of training himself stronger, he is aware

that Alda has Guduranis fragments, and although unlikely, there is a risk of
Alda using them. So instead of training himself, he decides to train
everyone else. Borkus, Bone Man and Vigaro are facing a special battle
against special DK Familiars, this is to test them against a possible fight
against the fragments, Randolph is training in Vandalieu’s S Class
Dungeon, since he is still a little unfocused on these hard battles, Bacias is
training under Kanako, and Miriam worries that she may soon find herself
with a new form of Blessing, the “Stigmata”, and Tarea is getting Van to
make many materials for her.

Time passes, it’s autumn, soon it will be winter, Van was able to gain levels
thanks to everyone’s training, in this time, he maxed out Fallen Musha,
Insect Nin and Eclipse Cursecaster, he now selects Nergal, a job that
represents the Sun and Underworld God from Mesopotamian myths. He
declares that, instead of waiting to be attacked, he will attack in the winter.
Around the same time, Eileek receives an Oracle, announcing that the Holy
War will start soon.
Holy War
The leaders from Amid Sacred Empire nations want explanations for the
sake of their territories, but Eileek assures them that Alda has everything in
mind, and they have no need to worry (All shall be sacrificed if necessary),
the plan is for Heinz to split the mountains in half. Duke Farzon thinks this
war is his Raison d’tré, and acted so much that the other duchies caught up
on their preparations, of course, Vidal learned everything too. While Amid
is sending an Army towards the Boundary Mountain Range, in Talosheim,
they are discussing the situation, and where Heinz is.

When the Holy Army arrives, and decoys that are acting like Heinz are
preparing to open the path, but the mountains open a path for them,
revealing a stampede of monsters, at that moment, many of the army
soldiers believers in Botin, Peria, Ricklent and Zuruwarn, who were
influenced by those incarcerated people Van’s group saved in Orbaum and
Amid, ran away with all their might, as they recognize Eileek is going
crazy, and have no intention in fighting this suicidal war, also, Borkus,
Vigaro and Budarion and his Noble Orc Army appear behind the monsters,
thus the 1st Battle is won by Vidal.

Moksi still hasn’t seen any effects of the war besides some of their
prominent members, like Vandalieu, Miles and the Magical Girls being
absent, but the war has already started. In Farzon, the new Saintess Selen is
properly being used by Farzon to raise their morale, the idiot girl, however,
found a contradiction in Alda’s teachings, after all, if he is the one who was
supposed to seal Guduranis… Why did he appear in the first place? Doesn’t
that mean that Alda is failing in something? She sent a letter to Heinz
telling him that they should just leave this war and live alone in some
random island away from Vandalieu, who she understood would not
prioritize them when they first met in Orbaum, and although she understood
it correctly, Heinz decided that he needs to kill Vandalieu before he is taken
over by Guduranis. Good for you Van.

In the border between Farzon and Hartner, they are wasting time with some
war traditions, so direct hostilities have not started, and Pauvina, Luvez, her
party members, Rapiéçage, Tamata, Juliana and her imoutos are just waiting
for these formalities to end.
But the 2nd Battle has started on Farzon’s sea, with Tama and Gyoku, Rank
12 flying Cookrakens attacking the patrol ships of Farzon’s Navy, and the
merfolk that were killed, and whose survivors migrated to Gartland, are
now getting their revenge (But don’t kill them too hard, it will be annoying
to sew their corpses later since they will become allies), a Rainbow Trident
(Transformation Device) holder Doraneza controls the ocean, and with the
giant Cookrakens, it’s just impossible to lose.

Meanwhile, Alda, the holder of the narrative, knows that Vandalieu is evil,
and everyone working under such evil will eventually be cut off, but
strangely, things are not working well, in the first place, the ones seeing
traitors are not the Demon King’s side, but his own side… This is not good,
it doesn’t follow the narrative, he himself can’t understand reality, so he
takes Guduranis soul fragments in one hand, and the sealed gods in another.
Then, from the skies around many regions in Orbaum, and even the 2 other
continents that shouldn’t have seen effects of the war, Evil Gods, Gods and
Demi-Gods suddenly descend, including the Boar Beast King, and even the
Lion Beast King appears in Birgit, who asks his children to kill him fast,
before he loses complete control! Yes, Alda’s method is to “burn and kill
everyone, for the sake of peace, because Vandalieu is dividing the
continent, the “forces of all that is Good” shall not tolerate such actions that
don’t follow the narrative”, truly… “Peaceful Protesters”.

Vandalieu goes to Gartland, where Luzmazela, one of Vida’s Subordinate

Gods in the past is going berserk over the Soul Fragment, Vandalieu saves
her, and tells her to ask about the situation with the Gods in Gartland right
there, and goes for the next. Gufardgar is battling the Evil God of Demon
Castles Gupyaresla, and as new monsters are to attack the city from his
dungeon vessel, the Demon Vigilantes Vandalieu, and the Heroes led by
Hendricksen assault them. Meanwhile in Mirg, Zod recognized the “Dragon
God of Thunderstorms” Ziggurat, who is busy frying Alda’s soldiers, he
was a Dragon God from Vida’s Faction sealed by Alda in the past war, and
hates Alda and the 3 Champions, he does not attack Ghouls and Noble
Orcs, Eileek announces that he has a soul fragment of Guduranis that
Vandalieu placed on him to attack them. Meanwhile, Budarion announced
to Bododo, the Evil Boar Beast King, that he shall die by their hands rather
than be Alda’s pawns.
Budarion and the Noble Orcs fight Bododo, Vigaro and Borkus are aiming
towards Ziggurat, the Storm of Tyranny fights the 15 Evil Breaking Swords,
the 4th Sword Leonardo reveals he has a DK Fragment to take Schneider
with himself. The 4 Colored Blades, aided by Nineroad’s winds, pass
through without anyone else noticing, but hear the sounds from battle
behind, although uninformed, Bellwood believes Alda may have released
the Evil Gods and DK Body fragments on them to fight. They resume their
way to Talosheim… In walking speed.

Gods of Alda are revolting and want an answer from Alda, they got one
from Niltark, who made 2 of them “sleep” by force, leaving the remaining
ones understanding that they have been separated from the Divine Realm.
Alda can’t understand Van’s movements, Heinz is also slowly walking, and
he only has 2 Soul Fragments remaining, Reason and Wisdom, which are
very dangerous, he considers he may need to descend himself. Zantark seals
3 friendly Gods with his own body in the Demon Continent so that
Guduranis soul won’t corrode them more. He is extra pissed at Alda, and
leaves Diana and Tiamat to defend the people. A Fire-Attribute God was
also dropped in between Hartner and Farzon to deal massive damage to
Vidal’s force, but although confused, he was able to evade the place,
although he ended up in Pilchikov, which would end up facing a bad fate
too, however Lafaz came with Farmoun, and although furious by the sight
of the traitor, Farmoun also uses his body to seal the God, leaving only
Lafaz, who holds Vida’s mark to be seen.

Between Hartner and Farzon, the “Evil God of Ruinous Greed”

Zobyubelogia, one of Guduranis 4 executives, makes half of Farzon’s army
start killing each other, Pauvina-sama’s party, Luvez, and Juliana’s squad
confront him, Fidirg, Zozogant, Valdiria, Randolph and Meorilith arrive as
reinforcements. Contested by Jennifer about why Heinz is prioritizing
Vandalieu over saving the people from the Evil Gods released by Alda,
Heinz explains that it would be counterproductive, since Van would be
provoked, attack them and not deal with the victims around the world, there
is no good for any of them, besides, the reason he has not appeared to stop
them is because Talosheim is not where it should be, thus, they can literally
only wait until Vandalieu arrives.
One of Zuruwarn’s Subordinate Gods, the “God of Concealment”
Wyzwarn, finds himself in the skies with no one besides him after having
been sealed during the Alda/Vida war, although he detects Guduranis-like
signs, he also detects Darcia using Vida’s power, and confused on what he
should do, he decides to move to her side to get an update on the situation,
without noticing that he himself is infected with a Soul Fragment.

In Nineland, the “Evil God of Mad Slaughter”, the “Evil God of Ceasing
Clouds and Demon Rain” and the “Crystal Giant” are having a three way
face off, a 4th one appears in Vandalieu, who came to rescue the originally
friendly True Giant, near the end of the fight, Lafaz arrives, and Van deals
with Darmatark, freeing Farmoun to still help, telling him to wait in the
“God of Mountains” Borgadon’s Sanctuary in case anyone else needs help.

Between Birgit and Farzon, the Lion Beast King is battling Knochen who is
holding him down, Van arrives and hastily deals with it, placing the Lion
Beast King inside his Inner World, and leaving Knochen as reinforcements
against Farzon. Many are already melting and having their skeletons ripped
off from their bodies. Vandalieu notes that his soul appearance is pretty
different, and tries to “fix himself” a little, unaware that his original looks
are considered worse than Evil Gods. In Jahan, even thought it’s a Duchy
with many Alda believers, Darcia, Zadiris and Basdia are fighting against a
multitude of Evil Gods sent to defeat Vida’s Incarnation, there are also 2
Beast Kings which have to be defended, and that’s unbalancing things for
the defense side. Vandalieu arrives, now that he is capable of changing
positions with any DK Familiar or Fragment, and deals with the 2 Beast
Kings.

Over Sauron’s skies, the Evil God of Cursed Poison appears, but not
without catching the attention of Bakunawa who was near the Ark
Mountain Range. The Death-Attribute Dragon God easily consumes all the
cursed poison without side-effects, revealing himself a natural predator of
sorts against the Evil God, however, he is sending monsters to the ground to
distract this enemy that is trying to protect the humans. Meanwhile, Amelia
Sauron is commanding Sauron’s Army, and Elizabeth, who has no
experience in commanding an army, decided to go to the front to raise
morale at least, besides also motivating Bakunawa, who seeing his onee-
chan, remembers that more than having infinite food, he has to kill this guy,
and blows him towards the mountain range with the Dragon Emperor’s
Breath. There, Botin seals the Evil God just like Zantark had done.

On the sea near Farzon’s territory, where the battle between Doraneza and
Farzon’s Navy happened, the Evil God of Distortion had appeared (Former
boss of Hihiryushukaka), but Tama and Gyoku didn’t had the strength to
defeat them, much less Doraneza, thus reinforcements in the forme of 2 of
the Gods from Gartland appeared, and incapable of even using Farzon’s
Army as a shield because they were almost completely turned into Undead,
he tried to flee, but Peria caught him and sealed him too.

Back in Jahan, the battle is over, the 2 beast kings are freed, Van does not
eat the sealed Evil Gods because he is in an indigestion right now, and he
will treat them as a mana potion in case he needs mana in an emergency,
besides, it seems some of the soul fragments are collecting others for
themselves. Meanwhile in Orbaum, Silkie is flying and bombing monsters,
and the Evil God of Demon Castles decides to fuse with his soul fragment,
thus triggering a new revival, however, because of the Death Attribute, he
loses his ability to use Space attribute magic, and Gufadgarn, with
Ricklent’s help, seal him with himself.

In Alcrem, Kanako’s trio, Legion, Eleonora, Bellmond, Bone Man, the

original Heart Warriors quartered + Bacias, Carlos and Edilia are helping on
the physical realm, while Elk and Hilshem deal with the infected Goddess
of Snow Storms, but all are quite easily swallowed/sealed by Legion.

Pauvina’s battle ends with Van arriving and eating the enemy Evil God, he
also sends Randolph and Meorilith to Mirg as reinforcements. Meanwhile,
at Mirg, Leonardo reveals not only his DK Weapon with a sealed proboscis
fragment, but also activates the DK’s Heart on himself. On the other side,
Eileek calls for the Heroic Spirit Knights to advance, they are the Group
imitating Fitun’s tactics, and trying to create Chaos on Vidal’s side, but the
Ghouls Army descends their familiar spirits and show enough resisting
power.
The Heroic Spirit Knights reveal that all of them have Demon King
Fragments with them, causing even the Holy Army (their allies) to panic,
but Miles, Randolph and Meorilith appear as reinforcement. 3 are killed,
but the Heroic Spirits remain, deciding to fight even if they need to spend
their divine power to remain, but Miles was focused on trying to seal the
DK Fragments that lost their hosts, and are aiming for new hosts, and the
Heroic Spirit won’t let him do it, but that triggers new reinforcements,
Andy and the Hero Candidates of the Holy Army, attacks the Heroic Spirit
Knights, and with his Spear Artifact, while ignoring Zares oracles telling
him to stop, Andy knows the danger of DK Fragments, and announces he
prefers to work with Ghouls and Undead to seal the fragments, instead of
helping the ones using them. As the Heroic Spirits are shocked by the
sudden “betrayal” (#walkaway), Borkus and the others return from dealing
with Ziggurat, as Van has just arrived and got the Soul Fragment.

The Holy Army is in shambles, with many fleeing. The ones who received
Oracles to leave have now returned to help with the DK Fragments sealing,
and against the Heroic Spirits that are interfering. Thus, Eileek decides to
go to the front, where he dies a really fast death, confusing the commanders
Bilde and Katia. Meanwhile, Leonardo and Schneider continue fighting, but
Leonardo’s allies are being defeated by the Storm of Tyranny, and when
Leonardo is out of time because of the DK Fragment on himself, he
consumes the one inside his equipment, at the same time, members of
“Hilt” got the unused fragments of the fallen Heroic Spirit Knights and
made sure they reached Leonardo, who got all of them, thus, triggering a
“Third Revival”, but Leonardo is already half-dead, and Schneider kills
him, but the fused fragments are now searching for a new host, and it’s
unknown if they can be sealed on a normal container, but someone appears
and consumes them before they are able to call Vandalieu. (All 15EBS +
Carmine are officially dead).

The DK’s Core that Alda unsealed on a random Evil God was thought to be
an important, but otherwise useless fragment of Guduranis’ soul. At the
Core’s own surprise however, it was a complete “backup” of Guduranis,
one that, even if his soul were to be broken, as long as the Core remains
intact, he could recover. This is something that Rodcorte, Alda and Vida,
who sealed him, couldn’t have known, as a God from another world.
However, he had no information of what was happening, so first, he got a
fragment from another infected God that was spawned next to him,
Wyzwarn. Thanks to the DK’s Heart, he arrived in Mirg’s battlefield, got
Bododo’s fragment, and as he was going to consume Leonardo, Vandalieu
got inside him, eventually killing him and refusing all pleading from
Guduranis. Seeing that, with this, it’s pretty much impossible for Guduranis
to revive properly, he decides to go fight Heinz after a Job Change.

The Five Colored Blades arrive in the first fake Talosheim, during all this
time, Van had changed Jobs 2 times thanks to the Experience gained by his
friends in battle, now, it’s the third time, and he is forced to select the new
“Neo Vandalieu” Job… Although reluctant, the previous Vandalieu Job not
only maxed out, it granted big bonuses, and he is in need of power for the
upcoming battle. Then, he selects the other new Job, also due to its possible
positive effects, although even more reluctant. But after selecting the “God”
job, nothing really happened, no skills, not level ups, not even the expected
Insta Maxed Out… And so he leaves with Gufadgarn, whose main body is
sealed, but the one in the vessel is still fine, and they teleport towards
Heinz. Vandalieu summons countless DK Familiars from his shadow as the
fight is about to start.
Battle against Heinz

The Five Colored Blades start fighting the countless DK Familiars, but
Vandlaieu is taking his time now, although they have descended their
Heroic Spirits/God and gotten stronger, that power comes with a time limit,
meaning, the moment they reach their limit, they will be weak, besides, he
is still wary of them, this is because even Jennifer is easily killing DK
Fragments, so he is experimenting on what is happening. He finds out that
all of them are using weapons made by Bellwood in the past, while
Farmoun created the Adventurer’s Guild and Nineroad created the Tamer’s
Guild, Bellwood started working on his craftsmanship and alchemy (so
production related works), to create weapons to help humanity seal DK
Fragments and kill the wicked and ugly Vida’s Races (not to improve
people’s lives, just to kill people. VIVA SOCIALISM). Those weapons are
essentially Holy Weapons that are especially good against Guduranis, and
because Vandalieu had just eating many soul fragments of Guduranis
without enough time for a digestion, even his mana is a little different, and
closer to Guduranis, which is boost the effect of their weapons. He is still
experimenting on the situation.

Vandalieu talks with Nineroad in Delizah’s shield, but her changing sides
now would not be only shameless, but essentially a suicide for a god in the
wrong side, thus, she doesn’t plan to retreat and will fight even though she
knows she is very likely to lose. Vandalieu also offers Daiana and Junnifer
to leave with their lives, but they stay, and so Vandalieu wears his soul,
preparing to fight for real. From his experimentation, he understood that the
Holy Sword made to kill Guduranis wasn’t as effective against his raw soul,
and through cooperation with the 3 main elemental ghosts, he was able to
throw Jennifer and Delizah through a teleportation gate made by
Gufadgarn, so they are away from the main battle.

At the same time, Alda sent orders to all his Heroic Spirits to descend and
help Bellwood, considering the limitations, it can be said to be a terrible
tactic, but that’s how pressed is Alda in regards to risking losing Bellwood,
and no other god said anything against anyway. They used the opening in
the Barrier, but were met by an ambush unit of the Abyssal Pure Breed
Vampires and Majins, with Iris acting as their commander, facing the fact
they wouldn’t be able to accomplish their mission, they changed tactics,
while one of them slipped in without anyone noticing.

As the battle progressed, something was going to hit Vandalieu, but got
Gufadgarn instead, Vandalieu aimed at the culprit, Larpan, who had arrived
with Alda, who sealed himself to not be detected, but before Van could eat
the God of Reflexions, Alda sealed him away, and got a Familiar Spirit to
get him out. With Alda himself on the battlefield, even Heinz was surprised,
but once meaningless discussions were over, the now alone Vandalieu
against Alda, Heinz (Bellwood) and Delizah (Nineroad) unseals and eats
the Evil God of Demon Castles, recovering Mana, eating a new soul
fragment, gaining a new authority, and unsealing Gufadgarn’s main body,
who is pretty pissed seeing his vessel skewered as a shameful sight.

Van is pissed, but keeps distance, wary of the reacting Pile of Law, Alda
unseals Yupeon and Niltark, who also arrived in similar fashion to himself,
and tells Heinz he will lose, but he has a last resort option. The gods are
being annoying, so Eleonora, Bone Man and Knochen are called to deal
with the 2 gods. Delizah descends Nineroad on herself, and shields Heinz
who is doing something, after Van’s attack is over (Her Provocation skill
actually worked this time), her body falls to its knees with blood all over
her, but Heinz is able to finish his “Ménage à Trois”, where Bellwood
descends Alda, while descending Heinz. As Heinz arrives and calmly asks
Delizah to fall back, she shoots him with a “World Breaker Hollow
Cannon”, and to everyone’s surprise, including Nineroad back at her shield,
Vandalieu reveals it’s him.

Vandalieu absorbed Delizah’s body through the blood, using the moment
Nineroad left her body to take over. With the surprise attack blowing Heinz
away, Delizah takes Gufadgarn’s sealed body while holding Nineroad’s
shield, and unseals the body, and calls for some reinforcements, then goes
back to fight against Heinz who is now. Gufadgarn throws Nineroad’s
shield away in some deserted isolated island, she is not being destroyed.

Bone Man and Knochen are fighting together against Yupeon, until Bone
Man’s Magic Sword-type DK Familiar hits Yupeon, eventually turning the
God of Ice into Snowflake. Niltark is getting powered up by the prayers of
Alda’s believers in this crisis, but when he seems to be winning against
Eleonora, Vidarcia hits him, reminding him that Vida too is receiving
prayers and getting stronger, she knee-kicks his balls, although as a god
without a physical body, there is no such sharp pain besides the humiliation,
then Basdia, with a Magic Axe-DK Familiar, assisted by Zadiris and
Zandia, attacks him who notices, with all the enemies surrounding him, one
powered Great Goddess and an Axe capable of eating souls, that his
chances of survival here are pretty much zero.

Heinz, with a slightly more aggressive personality thanks to Alda’s

personality influence in the advent, condemns Van for killing another God,
and during their exchange of blows, manages to hit Van’s right arm, sealing
it in place. Van cuts it out together with the feeling that he is losing Mana,
and the fight continues, with each damage directly sealing a part of his soul,
not giving him a chance to unseal the already sealed parts. However,
Vandalieu doesn’t feel cornered, as he senses his soul is now growing,
unlike before, but this is not his power, it’s all thanks to everyone else, he
can hear many prayers aimed towards him.

In Origin, President Sergei and Amemiya release a broadcast to the entire

world revealing themselves as reincarnators, and asking everyone to pray
for Vandalieu to help him. While fighting Heinz, Alda and Heinz notices
Van growing even while his is constantly being partially sealed, and Van
explains that he is receiving prayers from another world, which are
strengthening him, it’s also causing Van’s authority to be more related to
Origin, weakening the effect of Pile of Law on himself. In a last attack,
Heinz and Alda try to attack him, but Vandalieu, now unaffected, easily
counters them back, ripping off Heinz's arm holding the Holy Sword,
Vandalieu then seals it away. Heinz is now suffering without a weapon,
seeing himself losing the battle, and the fact that he is descending 2 Great
Gods.

The moment Van goes for the kill, a scream from Heinz, and a pillar of light
shouts out of his body towards the entrance, Vandalieu focuses on Heinz,
but notices there is no soul, meaning that Alda killed Heinz by ripping his
soul away while still alive. Alda arrives in his Divine Realm holding Heinz
and Bellwood who received too much damage, he wants Rodcorte to mesh
them up like he did to Vandalieu’s soul in the past, but reaching there, he is
welcomed by Zuruwarn, and Vandalieu right behind him. Alda screams in
horror, Vandalieu eats Heinz and Bellwood, and “processes” Alda into an
egoless god. Rodcorte, still partially sealed, finds out he was betrayed, his
system is completely isolated by the gods of multiple worlds supporting
Zuruwarn and the 3 Angels. Vandalieu then eats Rodcorte.
After War

Discussions have start. Vandalieu wants nothing with Farzon, so Orbaum

will have to deal with it. In regards to Amid, Vandalieu will support those in
the 3 vassal nations that responded to Peria, Botin and Ricklent’s Oracles,
he will also send Mashkzar and his relatives to them to help with the deals
(as hostages, if necessary).

Vandalieu and the Great Gods arrive at Alda’s Divine Realm, to look out for
the sealed Gods and Evil Gods, how to deal with each of them, and find the
Evil God of Sinful Chains, which they meet almost completely sealed and
in weakened form. After some small talk where they recognize the
friendliness of the Evil God, Van frees him from the many stakes, while the
loud screams of Alda in the background can be heard. Van is going to
support him with a new Dungeon near Talosheim, plus he will order to
prioritize the making of statues of him so that he can recover faster.

In Origin, the people want to build facilities to worship Vandalieu around

the world... Things have changed a lot.

10 days after the end of the final battle, Van gave Randolph a request
previously, and has now receive a report, Jennifer, Daiana, Selen and the
Roaring Sword have left the continent, moving towards some random
Island, but has no detailed information about it, Randolph has also given
them some flocks of hair from Delizah and Heinz, as per the request. This is
his last job as he will now retire and work with Kanako from here on.

Farzon has already officially lost the war, the Duke will be killed later, and
Orbaum will do the rest. On the other side of the Ark Mountain Range,
Amid hasn’t officially given up, but Van already sent Mashkzar and his
family members to the 3 Vassal Nations besides Mirg, and they should now
fight for independence against Amid.

Van and the other Great Gods are interviewing the Evil Gods sealed,
releasing them in a controlled environment (Inner Body), and requesting
them if they want to be Gods of Lambda. The majority either denies or are
just incompatible. One of them, “Evil God of Cursed Poison”
Dobopezepaluo is one of the 4 strongest Evil Gods, also refused, but upon
remembering Bakunawa, who consumed him, he asks about the strange
Dragon God he met, and upon learning it’s Vandalieu’s son, he submits and
accepts the offer. Gufadgarn sympathizes as a fellow Evil God with very
simple, but eccentric, preferences.

Farzon is now formally defeated, the Duke family has been lethally
punished, and the other duchies have to decide what to do with this region
that is the center of Alda fanaticism in Orbaum, having started a war against
Vidal.
Elizabeth Sauron gives up early on, she has too much work already, and
decides on sending her older brother Rudel as a representative.

Hadros Jahan also doesn’t want it, it’s too far, and Van just made a tunnel
towards the sea, so one of Farzon’s uniqueness is soon to lose its appeal,
and although Jahan and Farzon have strong Alda religion, Kanako’s work,
plus the Oracles from all the Great Gods explaining Alda’s actions and the
story of Vida’s punishment, caused the Alda believers to deeply regret and
apologize for the actions they have done in Alda’s name, so this similarity
is soon to change.

Gerald Birgit, and historically the Birgit House are enemies of Farzon, they
worked together as Duchies of Orbaum, but otherwise, they hate each other,
and it’s more annoying that because they are neighbors, they have to take
care of their problems not to overflow on their side. Gerald sent Bombarde
as his representative to the meeting.

Lucas Hartner has already too much on his hand to even consider dealing
with Farzon, he has to find the lost treasures of Talosheim his ancestors
stole and gave to other nobles for bribing and support. Lucas plans to deal
with all of this himself, and after this, he will retire and make his daughter
the new Head of the Family. He wants to do it himself, so as to ensure that
Katie Hartner will not have to deal with this problem.

Takkard Alcrem doesn’t really want to deal with Farzon either, but the
friendly duchies have too much to take care for, and the other duchies with
little connection to Vandalieu are likely to be wary of having influence in
Farzon and being mistaken as trying to raise anti-Vidal sentiment, so
Alcrem decides to do it, so that the territory doesn’t go down in a spiral of
problems due to negligence. Elected King Corbit, as the current King, also
supports Takkard, and so both have to spend resources on this.
One year Later

Vandalieu, Legion and Knochen are flying over the moon; he finds out that
the Lambda Universe is geocentric, with planet Lambda as the center, and
all celestial bodies orbiting around it. They went to see the Lunar Monsters,
and when investigating the other side of the moon, they find an Evil God
who immediately surrendered.
Arc 16 - After Story

Vandalieu is making Hell in Lambda.

There is a political marriage boom. Van is also deciding on the ceremony of

his own wedding and who he is going to marry. Darcia is included by the
other waifus.
