The time mage’s strong new game ~

I returned to the past to rewrite it

as the world’s strongest – Chapter
29 – Chrom’s power
“It’s all right. I’m here.”
Labrys, who was attacked by first-class mages, suddenly saw a boy
standing in front of her.
She knew very well who he was.
“…C-Chrom?”
Labrys whispered, seemingly taken aback.
Chrom, who she thought was dead, was standing in front of her.
He smiled at her to try to reassure her.
His smile was as kind as it was when they were younger, but seemed more
reliable.
For some reason, she couldn’t look away.
“…Sorry I’m late. You were scared, weren’t you?”
Chrom knelt in front of Labrys, and touched the restraints on her wrists.
Somehow, that was enough to undo the magic restraints that didn’t budge at
all before.
Labrys couldn’t understand how Chrom could do that.
How did he even get there?
She was happy that Chrom came to her rescue, but…
“…I didn’t want you to come.”
Tears started streaming down Labrys’ face, even though she decided long
ago she wouldn’t cry in front of him ever again.
She ended up crying again because she was weak, and had to wish for
Chrom to save her again.
This time, Chrom could have really died. This thought threw her heart into
disarray.
She knew she shouldn’t cry, but couldn’t stop.
“…I didn’t want you to fight… I didn’t want you to get hurt… You
shouldn’t have come to save me… Why… Did you come…?”
She didn’t think of herself as some adorable princess that people would
want to protect, and she said some pretty bad things too.
Chrom got hurt a lot because of her, and yet…
“Well, because you were crying.”
Chrom placed his hand on Labrys’ head. It felt as warm and nice as when
they were younger.
“I promised you, didn’t I? When you cried, I’d come to save you.”
“…You remember?”
“Yes, it’s an important promise for me. No matter how much time passes,
I’ll always honor it.”
It was a promise they made when they were younger, and their relationship
changed a lot since then.
But it was just like Chrom to risk his life for the sake of a promise like that.
“Let’s go home, Labrys. Everyone’s waiting.”
Chrom reached out to Labrys, who rubbed her eyes.
“…Yes.”
She seemed a little bashful, but reached out to grab Chrom’s hand…
“Gu… Do you people really think you can get away…!?”
Behind Chrom, first-class mages staggeringly stood up.
“…! T-they’re still moving…!?”
Although they were covered by the robes, it was clear that the first-class
mages’ bodies were bent in unnatural ways.
The attack from earlier broke bones all over their bodies, but still, they
moved them by using magic, looking like puppets on strings.
With unnatural looking movements, they encircled Chrom and held up their
staves.
“Fu, fufufu…! I don’t know how you managed to get here… But it seems
your magic energy is depleted! You will meet your end here…!”
Yes, they could not sense any magic energy in Chrom’s body.
The first-class mages on the other hand were releasing an immense amount
of magic energy.
They were five in total, and they were all among the most powerful in the
continent.
But Chrom didn’t budge.
“…That’s my line.”
Chrom silently got up, and turned his back to Labrys, facing the first-class
mages.
“…Do you really think you can get away after making my childhood friend
cry?”
Suddenly, it was like the gravity around them increased.
(…I-is Chrom mad?)
Labrys had never seen Chrom like this.
No matter how much he got hurt, he had never been mad like that.
The intense bloodlust around him showed how angry he was for her.
The first-class mages should clearly have the advantage, but they were
pressured into stepping back.
“I-it really was you, wasn’t it!? You took down the ancestral dragon!”
“Ah? Ancestral dragon?”
Chrom smiled daringly.
“That thing was weaker than I thought.”
The mages were silent.
“…Y-you monster…”
Mumbled one of them with a trembling voice.
The first-class mages that were strong to the point of despair, were scared of
Chrom, who stood against them alone.
“…Six, what do we do?”
“Someone hold him back while we retreat with the dungeon’s transfer
feature…”
“…D-don’t falter! He doesn’t have magic energy left! Attack him all at
once!”
The one they called Six, who was apparently the leader, raised his staff
above his head.
The rest all followed.
“““‘Six Icicle’.”””
Magic circles filled the air with their shine.
(…Multiple level six spells!?)
Each mage formulated several level six magic circles.
Not only that, but their speed was incredible.
Many icicles appeared in the air, and it was clear by the magic energy
infused in them that each had enough power to kill. It would only take a
scratch from one of them to freeze a person’s entire body.
This was the real power of first-class mages…
“C-Chrom…!”
Labrys grabbed Chrom’s clothes without thinking.
“It’s all right Labrys. Leave everything to me.”
Said Chrom as the icicles were launched.
They ripped through the air and descended upon them like a rain of arrows.
Chrom didn’t dodge, or even defended himself.
He just pointed the palm of his hand towards the rain of icicles.
“‘Stop’.”
That was all Chrom said, and the rain of icicles… Stopped in mid air.
“…Eh?”
Was all Labrys could say as she saw the unrealistic sight in front of her.
She didn’t understand what happened. It was like time itself stopped.
It ignored all the rules of this world.
Even the first-class mages were at a loss for words, and stood in place
silently.
“W-what… Is this power…?”
“…”
Chrom said nothing in response.
He simply walked slowly through the rain of icicles.
It was silent, like even sound stopped.
Only Chrom’s footsteps echoed.
“W-what are you…!? H-how can you use magic like that!?”
Six stepped back as Chrom stepped forward.
Eventually, his back hit one of the cultivation tanks, and his voice trembled
as he felt cornered.
“D-damn you! If it wasn’t for you…! Our plan would’ve been a
success…!”
“Yes, that’s right.”
“W-what?”
“If it wasn’t for me, your plans to create demon kings would’ve been a
success. The ancestral dragon would’ve gone on rampaging, and you
would’ve created demon kings one after the other. There wouldn’t be
anyone in this time who could stop you. Everything would’ve gone as you
planned, and a future of ruin would’ve begun. But…”
Chrom drew his sword, and the stopped icicles began to move again at the
same time.
There were suddenly flashes of lightning, and all the icicles shattered.
Their shining pieces rained down on the ground as Chrom pointed his
sword at the mages.
“I’m ending that future right here.”
Vol. 2 - Ch. 35
Awakening to a Special-Grade Explorer
There was a sound of students chattering in the background.
Squeaking and the uncomfortable sound of a chair scraping the floor.
The sound of footsteps was coming from the hallway towards the front
door.
The school was more noisy than usual and it was almost after school. Inside
the classroom where the 1-B nameplate hung, Tenji sat by the window and
gazed blankly in awe at the scenery outside.
For the students of the high school, this was the time to get excited. It is the
end of July, and the long-awaited paradise, summer vacation, is about to
begin. It is no wonder that high school students, in the struggle of
adolescence, are always in a state of excitement.
Tenji was also feeling a bit cheerful as summer vacation was about to start.
"Homeroom's about to start. Take your seats."
The rattling classroom door opens and the 1-B homeroom teacher walks in.
The teacher, with dark hair, dark eyes, dark glasses, and a white lab coat,
stood in front of the podium, holding some papers and bending forward
lazily.
The teachers of this Explorers High School were all former explorers or
people who have been active in the dungeon since the first stage of the
dungeon era. However, many of them have already retired from the field of
exploration. Some of them are world-famous former explorers who were
called heroic explorers a long time ago. And now they give lectures as
teachers.
Of course, this homeroom teacher was one of the explorers who was active
a long time ago.
Tenji's homeroom teacher - Ichimaru Kose, 39 years old, with calling [Mad
Scientist] - lightly lifts his glasses and quickly appeals to the students to
calm down.
Even though they are unprincipled, they are still students who want to
become explorers. But not a single one of them had any rebellious attitude
towards what Ichimaru-sensei, a well-known explorer, had to say.
"Let's see....... Well, it's faster if they look through them. Would you please
pass these out?"
"Yes!"
At Ichimaru-sensei's instruction, a female student who had been quietly
waiting in the front seat responded briskly and received a brochure from the
teacher to hand out to everyone. She quickly handed them out. Her hand
reaches out to Tenji, and he follows the text on the printout with his eyes as
he hands it to a student in the back of the room.
[Curriculum changes?]
The headline read in large letters, "Curriculum will change from the second
semester."
As the students followed the details on the brochure, Ichimaru-sensei began
to talk.
"Oh, Is anyone here left to get one? So, the curriculum has changed
suddenly. Please don't worry about it. The rule for acquiring a calling was
usually 'until the third year,' but from the second semester it is changed to
'until you advance to the second year.'"
"But, sensei, Why?"
One of the students raises his hand and asks a question.
Ichimaru-sensei raised his glasses back up and turned his attention toward
the student. He was very active.
"That's because the Ochanomizu Dungeon's grade has been upgraded. The
government and the association want to get more and more talented
explorers as soon as possible. The more talented explorers there are the
better it is........ Ah, but there was one. I don't even know where he is now."
"Ochanomizu Dungeon means ......Do you want to increase the number of
people with second grade or a higher calling?"
The current grade of Ochanomizu Dungeon was officially certified by the
World Explorers Association as a "Second Grade Dungeon".
Therefore, with a few exceptions, the explorers with licenses below the
fourth grade can no longer even enter the Ochanomizu Dungeon. Only
explorers of third grade or higher could apply to enter.
However, at present, the number of these third-grade explorers was
overwhelmingly insufficient.
"That's right. But there is no such thing as a calling as a student. The other
thing is that you'll have to go into the dungeon to get your provisional
license from the second semester, so prepare for that during the summer
break. That's all I'm saying."
"What do I need to prepare?"
"You're on your own. There are weapons and suits and all sorts of things.
So, it's okay to have fun with your boyfriend or girlfriend, but don't neglect
to prepare for the dungeon. Okay?"
"Yes!"
"Okay, that's it. Homeroom's over! Enjoy your summer vacation!"
With Ichimaru-sensei's announcement, Tenji and his classmates had
completed their first semester, or half year, of study at the Explorer High
School. The first-year students stood up and ran to their friends as they
pleased.
The discussions about calling, weapons to buy, what grade of inner suit to
buy, and so on, were all typically coming up.
Once again, the classroom became a crowded place.
From tomorrow begins the long-awaited summer vacation.
They ponder their calling and fantasize about themselves as future heroes.
'A cool, rich, and respected explorer that everyone looks up to.'
This is the image of the explorer they imagine. They discuss what they
should do to prepare for this, and what actions they should take during their
precious summer vacation.
They do not think alone, but exchange information and discuss it with the
students around them to make decisions.
In the midst of all this hassle, one student was staring out the window in a
very relaxed manner.
[I'm finally going to get one more level with 120 more experience. I'm
getting an average of 24 experiences per day, so that's just about 5 more
days, simple math. I can't wait to see what kind of changes will happen ......]
That student was Tenji. He was actually staring at the 'Book of Enma'.
Tenji cleverly pretended to stare blankly out the window, actually analyzing
the 'Book of Enma' the whole time.
The 'Book of Enma' was not visible to others at all, and he was in the habit
of observing it by pretending to gaze somewhere like this. No one would
suspect a teenager of daydreaming.
For the past month, Tenji had been listening to lectures, analyzing and
experimenting with various aspects of his calling. There were a few new
things that came to light in the process.
Tenji opens the notepad on his phone that summarizes the results.

The hell beasts other than the first contracted "Goblin-kun" can be erased.
I can summon "Goblin" by spending 5 points.
The Goblins are super strong. (However, arm wrestling and fighting
monsters are unknown)
...The 'Book of Enma' will not get destroyed in any way. (It doesn't burn, it
doesn't get wet, it doesn't tear, etc.)
The 'Book of Enma' never leaves me beyond a certain distance; 500 meters
away. It always appears in front of me.
The Book of Enma cannot be touched, seen or felt by others. Therefore,
physical attacks using the Book of Enma's levitation ability are also
impossible.
The [Red Demon Ring] is invisible to others and only I can see it.
The [Red Demon Sword] probably has the sharpness and durability
equivalent to a third or fourth-grade sword.
(Well, I guess that's pretty much it. I've done a lot of testing, but I've yet to
see a Goblin fight.)
Several such minor verifications could be done within a month. However,
now that the application to enter the dungeon had been denied, he couldn't
try to fight the Goblins and monsters in any way.
So Tenji was doing some arm wrestling to test things out, but the Goblin
turned out to be strong. Tenji couldn't move the Goblin's wrist even a
millimeter, even though he was clearly being outmaneuvered.
It was a pokey-faced, horrible hell-beast.

(And I'm also glad we're only speculating about unique abilities.)
Right now, unique abilities are shown like this.

[Fixed Small Object Levitation] (Lv.5/10)

[Experience] 20/22

[It used to be "3/22", but now it's "20/22".]

[As I searched for this, I learned that "12 hours of continuous use" is
required for the experience value to increase by 1.]
"I heard that there's an upper limit on unique abilities, is that true?". Tenji
asked Ichimaru-sensei.
He readily answered, "It's true."
[I continued to ask him about it, and it seems that some crazy American
researcher has come up with a certain law.]
After roughly two years of constant use, the usability of unique abilities
reaches its maximum.
Tenji was making these assumptions.
But the speculation was not accredited by the association, and the doctor
was only talking in the way that he remembered seeing such a paper.
So Tenji measured the laws of time and experience and came up with the
12-hour requirement. From then on, he always used his unique abilities
against the 'Book of Enma', and developed a trick to gain experience.
Originally, the 'Book of Enma' is a mysterious object that can levitate and
move through the air at will. It can spin around like a globe and can be used
at will with just one fingertip.
Conveniently invisible to others, Tenji continued to use his unique abilities
on the 'Book of Enma' for no reason.
Tenji doesn't find much meaning in his unique abilities, but he wanted to
grow them if he could. He was invested in the belief that one day it will turn
into something more.
"Well, now let's get out of here."
As the students started to leave, Tenji started to put away the textbooks
from his desk into his bag.
It seemed like he did not have any friends. Because he had taken many
public holidays as a luggage carrier since the beginning of his school career,
it was natural that he did not have any friends with whom he could talk
openly.
Inevitably, Tenji was perceived as awkward in class.
One of the students came up to Tenji's side.
The Principle of a Philosopher by
Eternal Fool “Asley” – Chapter
308, The King of the Dead
As soon as Sagan saw the monster — the SS-ranked Living Dead King —
he drew his sword from the sheath on his waist.

“A… AA……”

The Living Dead King’s body swayed as it groaned.

Then the shaking gradually stabilized, until its movements looked more
deliberate — a controlled vibration. An ominous wind sharted blowing
around it.

“AAAAAAAAAAAA!!”

Its groan turned into something… eccentric, causing Sagan’s face to warp
in horror.
On the other hand, Asley was calm — and so was Pochi next to him.
They had already fought the Devil King once, after all; even the powerful
Living Dead King was no enemy of theirs.
However, the one fighting this SS-Ranked monster this time was Sagan.
This War Demon Emperor was talented — so much so that a former Holy
Warrior considered him a genius — but he was still human.
The young man’s cold sweat turned greasy, and the look of horror on his
face shifted to one of determination.

“HAAAHHH!!”
Sagan readied his sword and put one foot forward, and at the same time, the
Living Dead King rushed forward.

“Ngh–!”
[That thing’s actually skilled. It’s matching up its movements with Sagan’s,
waiting to hit when he’s vulnerable. This is why humanoid monsters are so
tricky — Sagan’s gotta be careful.]

As Asley expected, the monster moved in to attack, exploiting Sagan’s

opening.
As Sagan pulled his leg back with the intention to stand his ground and
counter, the Living Dead King leaped up.

“Hah!”

Its method of attack was simple — smashing down with both its fists.
Sagan guarded with his sword.

“Hmph!”

And as he groaned while holding his stance, his arms and legs bulked up.

“Ooh! Nice muscles!”

“KAHHHHHH!”

Asley’s strange monologue faded into the night, while Sagan dug his heels
into the earth, standing his ground head-on against the Living Dead King’s
attack.
Eventually, Sagan gritted his teeth and swung, knocking the monster away.
“Ngh… rock solid!”

Looking at the Living Dead King’s arms, which Sagan had defended
against with the sharp edge of his sword, he saw that the cut was far too
shallow.
After all, even if it was the size of a normal human, it still was an SS-
Ranked monster.

“Let’s try this, then…”

[It’s gonna be fire magic… right?]

Both Asley and Sagan, through the latter’s defense against the physically
powerful opponent, had seen the same clue to the winning solution.
Sagan, seeming to notice Asley’s tense gaze from behind him, grinned as he
concentrated some arcane energy into his left fist.

“He’s switching to mainly using magic-based attacks… Good call.”

Asely muttered to himself, putting one hand under his chin as he observed
Sagan’s actions.
Saga’s dominant hand was his left… but he still wielded his sword with his
right. At his current level of ability, he had to rely on his better arm to use
magic spells and magecraft that demanded attention to detail.
Sagan himself knew that as well. He took one deep breath to improve his
concentration.

“Hmph!”
And as he started drawing, the Living Dead King closed in on him again,
stepping from side to side.
Trying to keep up with such movements would only result in dizzyness, so
Sagan opted to not look at it at all.

[Its movements are erratic, but by the time it’s close enough, it’ll be at one
of my sides… No need to worry about where it is while it’s out of my
sword’s range!]
“AAAAAA!”

As the Living Dead King appeared right in front of him in a low stance,
Sagan sensed its split-second hostile intentions and parried its uppercut.
The powerful blow slightly bent the face of Sagan’s sword, but the impact
was mitigated.
Its attack deflected, the monster’s body sprang up, and it attempted to shoot
a kick at Sagan’s abdomen.
Sagan repositioned his sword, directing its shard edge ahead at the kick just
before it landed. And then… he relaxed his right arm.
With his sword knocked back by the kick, Sagan let it draw an arc using his
arm as the fulcrum, looping it back around to his opponent.
The Living Dead King now realized that the impact of its kick was coming
back to hurt it — and it felt threatened.
The next moment, Sagan tensed up his right arm and clashed against the
Living Dead King’s next attack — an instantaneous burst of strength
achieved through a combination of grit and technical skill.
The subtle change in the Living Dead King’s eyes suggested that it was
finally taking things seriously… and then it looked surprised.
Grit and technical skill… were not the only cards up Sagan’s sleeve.
The monster saw light in a corner of its eye.
It came not from Sagan’s attacking right hand… but his left.
The arcane energy concentration in that left hand was minuscule, but to the
Living Dead King, it was a major obstacle.

“Burst!”

Grit, technical skill… and magic — those were Sagan’s cards.

His sword was now going at the Living Dead King with more speed and
power than before.

“Huh!? You’re not using fire magic!?”

“I know what I want to achieve, Leole Mask!”

The monster turned away in an attempt to avoid Sagan’s sword, but

compared to the speed of Sagan’s spin attack… it was slower.
An impact echoed — of the distinctive metal-on-bone kind. It was so loud
that Asley’s ears twitched, but he kept his eyes open to see how the clash
unfolded.
The Living Dead King had folded its arms to block the blade, and
succeeded… at an extremely crippling cost.

“I got you…!”

Sagan shouted out the pit of his stomach.

His sword was touching only one of the monster’s arms, which was only
slightly scratched.
Its other arm, however…

“AAAAAAAAA!?!?”
The Living Dead King’s right arm fell to the ground.

“Hahaha…… amazing.”

Asley subconsciously let out a word of admiration.

“How was that, Leole Mask?”

[He WAS writing a fire spell in the beginning… But then he expanded the
formula’s frame and added a whole new spell formula into it! In other
words… he rewrote a spell’s formula while drawing up its Circle… Man,
he’s really done it–]

Asley knew what this technique was.

He had already researched something similar before, but had abandoned it
due to lack of success.

“…Rewrite Magic.”
“Listen, Leole Mask… a Nation does not revolve around doing a single
thing. Broadening our horizons… sometimes calls for heavy-handed
methods. You WILL have your reward, Leole Mask… I will make sure of
it, even if I must force things with my own two hands!
HAHAHAHAHAHA!”
“Well, well…”

War Demon Emperor Sagan was laughing in the face of an opponent clearly
much stronger than him.
Ingenuity was what was important — Asley knew that well. But as Sagan’s
mentor, he had taught him something different.
Not just straightforward ingenuity… but the willingness to brute-force
things through.
“…I can’t let myself be left behind.”

Sagan, able to tell without looking back that Asley’s eyes were sparkling
with excitement, chuckled briefly before looking at the Living Dead King,
whose face was once again warped in pain.

[I came here to teach him, and here I am, being taught something… So this
is the real reason why I got sent to this era! You really got me this time,
God…]

Asley, noticing that he had cracked a dry smile, shook his head.
He could not let Pochi see him making that face, since she was sure to
comment on it.

[Wait a second… what’s Pochi up to? She hasn’t spoken a single word since
we started…]

With that in mind, Asley turned to Pochi… and saw that she was looking at
neither him nor Sagan… and not the Living Dead King, for that matter.
After all, she was facing away from all of them.
Asley, having been with Pochi for so long, immediately could tell that she
was on high alert.

“Something’s approaching us…”

Pochi said, and only Asley next to her got the message — because the
former did not want to distract Sagan from the fight at hand.
Asley divided some of his attention to the direction in which Pochi was
facing, while keeping himself faced forward, so as to not alert Sagan with
unnecessary signs.
Both Asley and Pochi could tell that this approaching presence was not all
that strong.

[Just a few… wait, it’s just one.]

“It’s coming this way despite us and an SS-Ranked monster being here…
Must be a VERY hungry creature… right, sir?”

Powerful arcane energy of various signatures drifted in the air. No one in

their right mind would dare to even get close to this area.
Although inferior to both Asley and Pochi, the Sagan and the SS-Ranked
Living Dead King were powerful in their own rights.
Asley’s energy could intimidate a fair bit, despite the cap being severely
reduced.
And then there was Pochi, far more powerful than everyone and everything
else around here.

“Well… that, or maybe it’s just stupid.”

Asley let out a dry chuckle, and at almost the same time, Pochi’s eyes
widened with surprise.

“Wait, could that be–!?”

Pochi’s reaction caught Asley’s attention, prompting him to turn and look.

“Hah hah hah… hah!!”

A figure appeared, approaching with an uneven pace and drooling all over
the ground.
Eventually, it revealed its form — its body dark red and gigantic. Its arcane
energy aura suggested that it was somewhere between Ranks A and S in
strength.
Still, Asley and Pochi were surprised. They both had a feeling… that they
had once seen a creature that acted just like this.
They tilted their heads and pondered that feeling over.
And then a ray of moonlight shone through the dark clouds, giving them a
good look… which prompted them to exclaim in realization,

“”Ah!””

With Pochi held forward her front paws in further surprise, and Asley
cracking an ‘I knew it’ grin.
The creature’s face, uncaring of appearances due to just how hungry it was,
resembled someone the two knew quite closely.
Then Sagan, noticing its arrival in a corner of his eye, muttered out its
name…

“…Ah, it’s a King Wolf Garm.”

Vol 6: Chapter 7 (2)
「I give up. You are more capable than I expected.」
While muttering as such, he puts his hand on his chin and starts to think
about something.
「Well, you see, I was told not to reveal it by His Eminence… but the
remark during the meeting was a request made by His Eminence.」
「…Huh?」
「You must have understood by now that the Church used that opportunity
to guarantee your identity and eliminate discrimination against black hair
and black eyes, right?」
…Well, they wouldn’t have bothered to ask me to return to black hair,
otherwise.
「But nobody would want to make unnecessary statements towards the
Church, or the situation might get too complicated if some of the
representatives held strong prejudice against black hair and lashed out. So
His Eminence requested me to control the debate. That’s why I did it.」
「I see……」
「That’s why I have no ill will towards black hair and black eyes. In the
first place, people who discriminate against others are not selected as the
People’s Representative in our Windle Republic… but, I guess you
wouldn’t understand it.」
「No, I do. It means that you don’t have an absolute monarch and you
choose a representative by election.」
It is a political form that is rather common on modern Earth.
Holiday blinked in amazement to my response.
「I see now… This is why the Church guaranteed your identity.」
「What do you mean?」I asked.
「Exactly as it sounds. You’re an excellent fighter, and you’re also
intelligent. That’s why the Church wants to keep you.」
「N-no… I’m not that big of a deal.」I said.
「Reiji-kun is amazing, after all!」Mimino-san added in from the side,
with a proud look.
.
「Once this turmoil has subsided, I definitely would like to invite you to
Windle. What do you say?」Holiday said.
「Well… I am a little interested.」
Most of the nations in this world are monarchical, such as a kingdom or an
empire.
The Republic of Windle is part of the Keith Gran Federation, and is one of
the few Republic nations.
If I say that I was not interested, it would be a lie.
「I am glad to hear that. –Also, do you have some time now? We still have
about an hour before the meeting resumes.」
「Yes, I have time.」
「I want to talk about the revocation of the Covenant.」Holiday said.
**
Representative Holiday seems to be aware that he is the Pledger of the
“Continental Humans”.
There is no doubt that he is a “human” the same as Non-san and everyone
else. It seems that he was awakened as a Pledger after he reached
adulthood.

「The Republic of Windle has kept a record of the Covenant. It seems that
the People’s Representative has been chosen as the “Continental Human”
Pledger many times in the past.」
There are many humans on this continent, thus it is probability-wise strange
that many Pledgers appeared in the Republic of Windle in terms of
population ratio.
Pledgers don’t seem to be selected by chance. Though, I don’t really
understand the criteria behind it.
「The Covenant which I hold is–」
「Revocation of the Covenant, isn’t it?」
「That’s right. Did you hear from His Eminence?」
I nodded in response. The fact that I can use【World Alliance】is still a
secret.
Then, as if pondering a little, Holiday took a sip from his tea cup.
We were in the waiting room which was assigned to me.
Although it is called a waiting room, it was quite luxurious. It had the taste
of a noble’s reception room. Religious paintings hung on the wall.
Two guards stood behind Holiday, three at the entrance of the room, and
five outside the window. Although they were dressed like civil officials and
secretaries, they carried concealed weapons on their sleeves, hem, and hair.
I recalled the memory about the revocation of the Covenant.
Revocation of the Covenant (Continental Human/ Dwarf)
・The Revocation of the Covenant is made by declaring it to the mediator.
・If revoked, the two worlds will become one.
The method of revocation is “declare to the mediator”.
Is there anything to be worried about there?
「Reiji-kun, what did you think of the conference earlier?」
「What did I think…?」

「Didn’t you think it was unseemly?」

After the “Child of Disaster” point was over, talks about “unification of the
world” proceeded.
However, that’s where the difficulty began. Even if we say that a world
crisis is imminent, the representatives are unable to realize and sense the
crisis.
They said the “Red Gate” issue is the Lev Magic Empire’s problem. And
they were only interested in one problem, “Depletion of Skill Orbs.”
In short, the proposed solution did not address the fundamental problem.
They just said to get more skill orbs. There was even a representative who
said, “Is the church hiding something?”
The Pope and the Cardinal are currently discussing how to eliminate these
headache-inducing representatives and have constructive discussions with
the rest.
「Actually, the Republic of Windle is promoting state management without
relying on skill orbs.」
「Huh?」
I was shocked. Is that really possible?
If it is a skill-based skill orb, the user will not be able to let it go after
having a taste.
A skill orb is a convenient tool, like a personal computer or smartphone.
Once you use it, you will not be able to throw it away.
「We distribute low-star skill orbs only to those who apply formally. But it
is a temporary loan and they have to return it after the agreed upon number
of years have passed.」
「Why such a system?」I asked.
It sounds quite inconvenient.
「Because you forget effort when you have a skill.」
Holiday said, with a confident look. Those words poked at my heart.

Lark, my sister – I don’t mean to say that she didn’t make an effort, but
once she obtained【Shadow King ★★★★★★】, she became over-reliant
on it.
The price she had to pay was high. She is struggling to overcome it now.
(It is the same for me.)
Until now, most of my conduct has been based on【World Ruler】.
It is really difficult to let go of it.
「—There are many people who make an effort for the sake of the world,
even if they have a skill.」Non-san added a counterargument.
Holiday was not displeased to hear the counter, he was rather delighted.
「As you say. I am sure that you and Reiji-san are such hard-working
people, but it’s also true that many aren’t.」
「…………」
Non-san kept silent, as if understanding that there is truth in that
statement.
「In truth, our policy is experimental. For example, there are almost no
places where ferocious monsters appear in our country, so we do not need
strong skills. Also, we share all our borders with nations within the same
federation, so we do not face any threats from foreign enemies.」
The Keith Gran Federation distributes skill orbs to the nations which are
part of the federation, but the Republic of Windle refused high-star skill
orbs, and in return secured financial support from large countries and
military cooperation in an emergency.
「Our policy is no doubt reliant on other countries’ use of skill orbs. But on
the other hand, our agricultural production is by far the largest in the
federation and it is becoming more abundant.」
「That means that after the two worlds are united… Windle will be a model
case.」
「Exactly!」
Holiday nodded vigorously, as if I had hit the nail on the head.
「Our country no longer needs skill orbs, so other nations in the federation
will definitely ignore my remarks. However if the skill orbs are completely
depleted, the world will collapse. So we should revoke the Covenant before
it becomes a reality.」
「Representative Holiday, do you really think the world will collapse?」

「I do.」
He affirmed lightly, but clearly.
「The Church, which has been observing this world longer than anyone
else, says so. No matter what other experts the representatives bring in,
those experts would only be a mouthpiece for the representatives’ wishes. I
do not think there is any other way. The Republic of Windle is a small
country, after all. Things which I am not capable of, will be achieved by my
peers. That is my idea of effort.」
「With so many monarchical countries it may be difficult…」
Kings, Emperors, and those in that sort of position can decide everything on
their own subjectivity.
Certainly, they will make their decision after listening to the opinions of
vassals and experts, but unlike a republic, where elections are held and
representatives can change, the monarch will always be the monarch. As a
monarch, you will want your reign to last forever, and you will give more
weight to the opinions of experts from your country than from other
countries.
「But on the other hand, a monarchy will reform quickly if the king decides
to do so, right? In the case of a republic, in order to win the next election,
the representative may try to run for immediate profit before the expiration
of their term.」
「Reiji-kun, how old are you? Where did you study politics?」
「Ah no… I just happened to be interested in the subject.」
「Hmm. This just makes me want you even more… Before that, I will
have to warn the Pope…」
「Uhh…」
「Oh, sorry, sorry. But that is exactly my aim.」
「Your aim…?」
「I’m the Pledger of “Continental Human”, so I am a monarch, in a sense.
In other words, the decision of all continental humans is in my hands.」
That would be so. That might be why this person is able to make such a
bold decision.
「As I said earlier, there are of course disadvantages to the revocation of
the Covenant, such as the disappearance of skill orbs and the appearance of
strong monsters, but on the contrary, since our country has a lot of food, we
can use it to receive protection from other countries. In other words, I am
positively willing to revoke the Covenant.」
「But the other countries–」
「Yes. The other countries will be unwilling. The depletion of skill orbs is
more important than the collapse of the world. How strange… they don’t
even have to struggle to get re-elected in the next election.」
Holiday laughed sarcastically.
「Therefore, I will advance the unification of the world.」
「What? Why did you come to that conclusion?」
「If we force them into that situation, the monarch will have to take
leadership. And if the monarch decides so, his vassals must obey – that’s
what you pointed out earlier.」
I was dumbfounded. This person was saying, “Ignore the countries that
advocate maintaining the status quo, and let’s advance with reforms.”
And that is correct given the current dire situation. But on the other hand,
for the nations which have not prepared for the collapse of the world—that
is, the “maintaining the status quo” nations, they will suffer enormous
damage.
「I think it is better than the world being gone.」
This person is not joking. He is a revolutionary from the ground up. His
escorts were looking at him with somewhat of a fanatical look.
(This is dangerous. But what should I do?)
The most unsettling thing is that Holiday himself is a Pledger.
If he wishes, he can summon the mediator and revoke the Covenant at any
time, and unify the worlds.
The sole reason he hasn’t is because he wants to watch how the world
would decide to act.
If anything happens, he wouldn’t hesitate to revoke it—even if the world
integration will be incomplete due to the revocation of just one Covenant.
「So, what do you think?」
When Holiday asked so—the bell rang to announce the start of the next
meeting.
「Oh, how unfortunate. We’ll talk later.」
This person is raring to go. If it becomes difficult to harmonize the other
countries, he will not hesitate to revoke the Covenant singularly.
Representative Holiday left the room with his escorts.
Raidorl Seiken Senki
Chapter 223
Dense, overgrown trees.

Deep in the forest, a feast was about to begin.

“Guhe, Guhe …”

“Ghehehehehehehehe”

A low, ugly voice comes from the trees.

The owner of the voice is a huge, deformed body. It was a monster with a
silhouette that was far from human.

It is a giant, nearly three metres tall.

It stands on two legs, but even at a distance, no one would mistake it for a
man or a monkey.

It has a stocky, round body with unusually short limbs. It has a large amount
of flab on its torso, which taps and sways up and down whenever its huge
body moves.

It wears no clothes and has no hair on its head. It had the same number of
eyes and noses as a person, but only one eyeball was bigger than the other
and the nose was sticky and squashed.

It was a creature called a 『troll』.

Like humans, it walked on two legs and was wise enough to handle tools
with both hands. Even so, they do not have language or writing, and are
demons that hunt in groups.

Some biologists claim that they may be a subhuman race because of their
minimal wisdom. At least, the subhuman confederacy in the southern part
of the continent does not recognise them.

For elves and dwarves, being equated with trolls was as humiliating as
calling people apes.

“Stop! Stop it!!!!!!!!!!”

“Guhe, Guhe, Guhehehehe”

Such were the trolls. They were currently in the middle of cooking in a
small settlement deep in the forest.

The ingredients are human. The ingredients are fresh and live, having been
caught yesterday on a hunt.

“No, no, no! Get off me! Let go of me!!!!!!”

“Guhehe, Guhehe, Guhehe”

One of the trolls hummed a good-humoured tune and grabbed a human

male from his wooden cage. He dragged him out of the cage, took him to
the square and slammed him against a rock that served as a chopping block.
“Gyaa!?”

A short scream escapes the man’s mouth. There was a cracking sound of
bones breaking and he was unable to move.

A troll swung an axe made of stone at the man, who was unable to escape.

“Gyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!”

The man’s decimation echoes. A blow from a stone axe shreds half his
torso.
The entrails protrude and a thick black liquid, a mixture of blood and some
kind of bodily fluid, flows down.

“Ghehehehehehe ~ ♪”

“Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!”

The troll swings the stone axe down again and again without care. The man,
who had resisted at first, eventually stops moving and his screams,
movements and voices disappear.

The troll stabbed a tree branch through the man’s mutilated body, put it on
the fire and cooked a spit-roast using human flesh.

“Guhe! Guhe!”

“Guhyahya!! Guhyah!”
“Uuuuuuu…………”

“No…..someone help me…..”

Laughter is heard from other trolls at the sight of the man’s bits of meat
being grilled to a golden brown.

In contrast, there are screams from those who are being held captive.

There were about 20 trolls living in the settlement. It is a fairly large

settlement for trolls, who have a low capacity to reproduce despite being
gluttonous eaters.

And there were about five people being held captive.

At first there were twice this number of people but the others had already
been cooked and placed in the trolls’ stomachs.

They lived in a village near the forest, but last night, a group of trolls
attacked them and they were driven to destruction. The majority of the
villagers have been killed and those who are left are in the process of being
eaten as appetisers.

The villagers lived with the forest as their livelihood, but were rarely
attacked by demons.

If a single goblin appeared, the whole village would be in an uproar. It was

the first time since the village was established that they had been attacked
by a large demon such as a troll and it would be their last experience.
“Guhe!!!”

The trolls finished devouring the skewers of human flesh, but they were not
satisfied being gluttonous as they appeared on the outside.

They looked at the human cage with their big eyeballs and decided on their
next prey.

“Kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!”

“Guhe! Guhe!”

“Guhyahya!! Guhyah!”

A young woman was chosen for the next supper.

The troll licks his tongue and drools as he attempts to take the woman to the
kitchen.

The other trolls cheered. They knew from experience. They find young
women’s meat more tender and tastier.

“Iyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa”

“Guhehehehehehe!!!”

The woman lets out a high-pitched scream.

The troll amuses himself with such poor resistance by swinging the
woman’s body up and trying to slam her into the bedrock that serves as a
chopping block.

“Guhe?”

Its torso was cut at an angle and fell to the ground.

“Kya!”

The woman also fell to the ground as well but luckily she avoided the
bedrock and fell without any major impact.

“Wha,what just happened….?!!”

The woman mumbles in dismay.

She is freed from the troll’s grasp and looks up to see the troll’s huge
body, severed in half, with only the lower half of its body standing empty.

“Fuuh….just in time.”

Then there was a girl in a blue-toned military uniform.

The girl had golden hair that was blowing in the wind and she held a sword
in each hand.

From the shining sword, blue-white lightning flashes are scattered, giving
off a fantastic atmosphere, as if the lightning had been solidified into the
shape of a sword.

“No…..I was not just in time. Most of them have been killed like this. If
only I’d gotten here earlier……!”

The girl looked around and saw the human remains scattered across the troll
settlement.

She contorts her shapely willow eyebrows in anger and glares at the trolls,
who are beginning to get upset at the sight of their slain comrades.

“But I won’t let you kill anyone else! Assist me….. Claíomh Solas!”

In response to the girl’s voice, a large number of lightning bolts were

released from the shining sword.

Celia Von Arslanian.

The third imperial princess and the Holy Sword holder Excalibur holder,
chosen by Claíomh Solas, the Holy Sword that governs 『Thunder』.

Shaking her shining hair like lightning, Celia swung the holy sword at the
demons, the enemies of mankind.
Celia Von Arslanian is an Imperial Princess.

As the holder of the Holy Sword of Thunder, she fought in the war against
the Kingdom of Zain, but was defeated in battle and taken prisoner.

As a prisoner of war, Celia is forced to share her life with the holder of the
Holy Sword that defeated her – Raidorl Zain and experiences a number of
events for the first time in her life.

For better or for worse, having gained a variety of experiences as a warrior

and a woman, Celia returned to her homeland after a peace was concluded
between the Kingdom of Zain and the Arslanian Empire.

Defeated, Celia was prepared to receive the punishment she deserved, but
surprisingly, she was not scolded on her return home.

On the contrary, she was even praised and awarded a medal for her role in
establishing friendly relations with the Kingdom of Zain.
Her guess is that they want to pretend that the fact that the Imperial Army
was defeated against a smaller, lower-ranked kingdom never happened.

If it were made public, such as the defeat of the tiger’s childrens, even the
holder of the Holy Sword, it would cause unrest among the people.

Thus, on her return to the Arslanian Empire, Celia had to return to her life
as a princess for a while.

She attended tea ceremonies with the children of noble families, dressed up
in beautiful dresses and attended parties. Celia has returned to the way she
should have been as a princess, but deep down, something was missing
from her heart.

“I can’t keep doing this……I’m the Holy Sword’s chosen hero! I have to
swing my sword for the good of the world and others, even if just a little!”

With such declarations as Celia left the royal palace without waiting for her
father’s permission.
Celia headed for the Adventurers’ Guild. It was an institution specialising
in exterminating demons, which she had used many times when she was in
the Kingdom of Zain.

After knocking on the guild’s door, Celia worked energetically. Accepting

one difficult request after another, she travelled throughout the empire and
defeated the demons that tormented the people.

Of course, the people of the royal court are trying to bring back the
princess, who has run away from the castle to fight dangerous demons.

But there is no one who can capture Celia, who can fly in all directions like
a lightning bolt.

Her father and emperor, Zacharias Von Arslanian [Just leave her
alone!Leave her alone!] and laughed hysterically at his daughter’s outburst,
no full-scale search was possible and Celia’s journey to defeat the demons
was half-approved.

Celia chose to become an adventurer for two main reasons.

The first is that, after working as an adventurer in the Kingdom of Zain for
a short period of time, she learnt how people were being tormented by
demons.

Powerful demons originally only appeared in outlying areas such as the

frontier cities that were ruled by raiders.

However, in recent years, the number of demons appearing and the range of
their activities have increased significantly. Even in areas where demons
have never appeared, damage has occurred and people have been attacked
and killed.
Celia was not so heartless as to turn a blind eye to the suffering people she
saw.

The months she spent as an adventurer were enough to change her

outlook on life.

Another reason is that she has lost sight of the 『justice』 of war.

The Arslanian Empire has launched wars of aggression against countries

with the cause that humanity should join forces to confront the threat of the
『Six Witches of Doom』.

Celia has always believed it was the right thing to do. Until she came to the
Kingdom of Zain.

Living in the Kingdom of Zain and interacting with its people, she began
to question whether it was really right to destroy their lives and impose
imperial justice on them.

Also, Raidorl, the royalty of an enemy kingdom. Living under one roof with
his arch-enemy Neimilia, one of the 『Six Witches of Doom』, has
overturned her previous values from the bottom up.

She no longer believed that wielding the Holy Sword for the sake of
『imperial justice』 was the right thing to do.

After anguishing, conflicted, lost and suffering regrets, she finally decided,
she chose to follow her own path of justice.
She was not forced by anyone. She found her own reason for wielding the
sword.

In other words, she chose a future as an adventurer, fighting against

demons, the enemies of humanity.
“Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!”

“Gufoooooooooooooooooooo!?”

Celia swung her holy sword with a cracking spirit.

A thunderbolt from the holy sword Claíomh Solas cleaves several trolls and
burns them all together.

“Imperial style swordsmanship――【Tonitrus:thunder and lightning】”

“Gufoooooooooooooooooooo!?”

The battle between Celia and the Trolls began in hostile territory but it
could no longer be called a 『battle』.

The trolls are huge monsters, nearly three metres in height. The herds of
twenty of these monsters are chased, burnt down and cut to pieces by Ceilia,
repeatedly.

At first, the trolls resisted, but now they have passed the point of complete
defence and are simply running away.

For a troll weighing several hundred kilos, the human creature was not an
enemy. They were prey to be chased, caught and eaten.
Although there are occasionally species clad in metal shells, they should not
be defeated unless there is something wrong with them.

However, the enemy in front of them – Celia – was clearly different from
the humans that the trolls had hunted in the past.

She wore no armour or helmet. She was small and didn’t look like she was
built to fight.

In fact, the meat looked tender and should have looked like the finest
foodstuff, but they noticed that it was them who were being hunted.

Each time Celia swung her sword, her fellow trolls died.

Some of them tried to escape by moving quickly despite their huge size but
they were instantly shot out of the air by a thunderbolt and stopped moving.

Having been exposed to the horror of the human creature for the first time,
the trolls are already reduced to about the number of fingers on one hand. It
is probably only a matter of time before they are wiped out.

“Guhee!!!”

But one troll had an idea.

He guessed what had caused Celia to fly into their settlement.

“Guhyaa!”
“Kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!?”

A troll dragged a human being out of the cage and held her up like a shield.
The hostage was a young girl around ten years old.

“……taking hostages. It’s petty and clever and it really pisses me off.”

Celia squints disapprovingly at the troll who used an underage girl as a

shield.

All but the troll who had taken the hostage had already been defeated.
There was only one left. The troll, his face contorted in ugliness, was trying
to back away with the little girl in his arms.

“I can’t tell you to let go of the hostages. I don’t even know if you
understand my language and I know from seeing this place that you people
have no mercy.”

Celia’s voice was quieter than ever, but inside she was raging with anger.

The trolls’ practice of literally preying on humans was unforgivable. Of

course, she doesn’t believe that the natural world is a predator and that
eating other animals is evil, but such logic was not in Celia’s mind.

Celia will defeat the demons that are tormenting people. This is the
justice that Celia believes in today.

It is the truth that she has derived from her various experiences in the
Kingdom of Zain and which is unique to her.
“I’m going to kill you now. No hard feelings.”

“Guhyaaa!?”

“Imperial style swordsmanship――【Fulgor: Instant Thunder】”

A flash of lightning flashes and Celia moves instantly behind the troll.

She thrusts her holy sword into the back of the startled and bewildered
troll, and then pierces it straight through to its chest.

“Gu…… Fo……”

Celia’s blow accurately pierced the troll’s heart but the troll, with a life
force as massive as its body, did not simply die out.

With his last ounce of strength, he tries to clutch the body of the young girl
she is holding as a hostage as the least resistance he can muster.

“As if I let you!!”

“Guoooooooooooooo …!?”

Lightning shot out from the impaled Claíomh Solas and pierced the troll’s
entire body.

The precisely controlled electric current ran only through the troll’s body
and did not try in the slightest to flow through the young girl in his hand.
On the contrary, care was even taken to ensure that the electric current did
not cause the muscles in the arm to contract and crush the hand. Only the
muscles that stretch the joints, called 『extensors』, were precisely
stimulated to release the captive girl.

“Kya!”

“Oops! It’s dangerous!”

[It’s abunai]

The young girl was released from the troll’s arms and was caught by
Celia. With blinding speed due to instantaneous movement.

“You are………”

“Sorry it took me so long to come and help you….. you’re going to be safe
now.”

“Uuuu…….”

“Don’t cry….”

When Celia stroked her head, tears welled up from the little girl’s eyes as if
her worries and burden had disappeared.

Clinging to her chest and sobbing, the young girl was soothed as Celia
walked towards the cage the troll had built to rescue the other villagers.
After defeating the trolls and rescuing the captured villagers, Celia returned
directly to the guild where she had received the request.
It took some time because she had to send the villagers out of the forest, but
for Celia, who can use instantaneous movement, the time for travelling was
nothing.

She received the request this morning and was able to return to the guild
that evening.

“Ce,Celia-san, are you alright?!”

As Celia entered the guild building, a receptionist she knew ran up to her.

She is a petite woman with brown hair tied back. She is about the same age
as Ceilia.

“I’m home, Lusha! As you can see, I’m not hurt!”

“Good……so where are the villagers? Were the people kidnapped by the
trolls safe?”

The reason why Celia attacked the troll settlement was because she received
an urgent request from the guild.

A village near the forest had been attacked by trolls, and the villagers had
been kidnapped, so she was asked to go and rescue them.

Celia rushed to the village as soon as she received the request, but by the
time she arrived at the troll settlement, half of the kidnapped villagers had
lost their lives.
“I couldn’t save more than half of them…. but I did send the ones who were
alive back to their villages.”

“I see…..”

When Celia reported with a darkened expression on her face, receptionist

Lusha also became somber.

“I didn’t expect trolls to appear in a place like that……There’s been an

increase in damage from demons lately, hasn’t there?”

As Lusha said, the appearance of demons has recently increased.

Even in areas originally inhabited by a large number of demons, there are

reports that the demons have clearly strengthened and not only adventurers
but even knights are being sent out to defeat them.

“Massive outbreaks of demons……since that earthquake, no, since the

night of the red moon.”

Celia bites her lip.

As the holder of the Holy Sword, Celia knew the cause of the increase in
demons.

It was because the 『Six Witches of Doom』 had returned after the night of
the red moon, known as the 『Witches’ Resurrection Ritual』.

‘Neimilia was a good girl, but…..other witches are still enemies of humans.
Even that earthquake was said to have been caused by one of the witches,
so we still have to fight them when we confront them……!’

Ceilia is prepared in her heart.

She has reconciled with a witch called Neimilia and made friends with her,
but that will not be the case with other witches.

Even if she distances herself from the imperial army and the royal court, the
time will eventually come when she will fulfil her duty as the holder of the
Holy Sword.

Defeat the Witch of Doom and save humanity. Celia was chosen by
Claíomh Solas for that purpose.

“Oh……by the way, Celia-san. While I was away, someone came to the
guild who wanted to meet Celia-san. It seems he came from the royal
palace……”

“Are they the Knights again? They’re really persistent!”

Although she was left alone by her father, Emperor Zacharias Von
Arslanian, many people were trying to bring Celia back to the royal palace.

She has been using her instantaneous movement to spread around the
guilds here and there, but every once in a while someone with good
instincts sniffs out her whereabouts and barges in at the guilds and inns.

‘Do I have to move from this town too? I’m starting to like this, the food
was good’
Celia sighs softly.

It would be troublesome if she came face to face with a messenger from the
royal palace. It’s already dusk today and she’s determined to get ready for
her journey and leave town tomorrow.

‘The inn where I’m staying might be guarded up, maybe I should stay at
Lusha’s house tonight? It’s evening already, and they won’t come up to the
guild, will they?’

Celia ponders in this way, but against her expectations, the guild gates open
behind her.

Entering were soldiers in the armour of the Imperial Guard. And a girl with
emerald hair and azure eyes.

“Ooo! I found you, my sister!”

“Eeeeeee?!! You are…”

“Seriously……adventuring in such a remote town. I thought I would have

to search all over the empire for you!”

The person who appeared was someone she knew. Celia’s half-sister.

A half-breed born to Emperor Zacharias and an elf woman.

She was the fifth imperial princess – Alex Rainmakina Amaltu Arslanian.
TL: THE TOMBOY ELF HAS APPEARED…and her name is still
mouthful…..
Act 4-7: Babel’s Circumtance
【Babel】’s Top Floor.
「No matter how much I look at it, it’s a complete beatdown.」
In the headmaster’s room located at the top floor of Babel’s tower, Babel’s
grand headmaster, Inea Renren Lorelei, was examining the data sheet in
front of her while muttering her thoughts.
Examining the data sheet, she concluded that Kai Heineman would become
a key player of this world in future. His strength aside, her main focus was
on his character, she wanted to know just what kind of a person Kai
Heineman was, to grasp his character. The data sheet was just one of the
many information files gathered by the secret investigation team.
Written in the sheets were information simply too unbelievable, yet true.
It started with the inauguration of princess Rosemary as the lord of East
End in the beginning of Amelia kingdom’s crown contest. Naturally, there
was no such thing as “Normal” inhabitants living in the East End. The one
that Kai Heineman choose was the people who happened to hide in there,
the Wind Cat.
And the leader of the Wind Cat was none other than the missing duchess of
Amelia kingdom, Felis Loto Amelia. If that was the case, it was normal to
think about inhabiting them as citizens, yes, if it was stopped at that point.
The problem was the method Kai used to allow the Wind Cat to gain their
proper citizenship.
First, he made the three underworld organizations, 【Tao Family】, 【Lost
Forest】, and 【Crimson Raven】 who were hailed as the three kings of
underworld come to Akinashi territory to lure out the Wind Cat from
hiding.
The three kings of underworld were a bunch that sometimes caused huge
headaches even for the big countries. And yet, Kai Heineman somehow
managed to convince the troublemakers and duchess Felis to subjugate the
evil dragon, 【Deboa】, who slept in the Akinashi territory’s mine.
Though the matter of the evil dragon 【Deboa】 being sealed in Akinashi
mine was forgotten by many of short-lived creatures, it was actually a well-
known fact amongst the long-lived races such as dragon race, demon race,
or elven race.
The evil dragon first appeared in the eastern part of Amelia kingdom.
【Deboa】 had burned a lot of cities. Upon witnessing the evil dragon’s
power, Lorelei government at that time tried to make contact and establish a
contract with 【Deboa】, and yet, the team who carried that duty met with
total annihilation from the evil dragon. Ever since then, Lorelei government
had labelled 【Deboa】 as an 【Extremely Dangerous and Harmful
Spirit】 and prohibit any contact.
And Lorelei government wasn’t the only one to establish such policy.
Demon race of the north, Aldebaran or, the rulers of 【North Grand】,
adjacent to the location where the evil dragon was sealed did the same.
Over the years, when the fact about sealed evil dragon was forgotten by
most humans, they only remembered the fact that Aldebaran army couldn’t
launch a large scale invasion to East End due to the steep cliff that separated
North Grand and East End but, that was only half correct.
And the wrong part was the cliff part. There was no doubt that Aldebaran
army did need large scale air force that could fly in the sky to launch large
scale invasion.
At this point, demon king Aldebaran, who was a crossbreed between the
most powerful ogre, Ogre Lord, and Demon race hailed himself as Demonic
Ogre Lord. And his army did have airborne squads who rode wyverns
called sky ogre. And the existence of this elite unit made it possible to cross
over the cliff.
Moreover, by cooperating with Blue Dragon family who ruled 【North
Grand】, large-scale invasion wasn’t pipe dream. And yet, the reason why
both parties never worked together was simply because they didn’t wish for
their invasion to accidentally awaken 【Deboa】, who slept in the eastern
part of Amelia kingdom. That indicated just how much of a threat
【Deboa】posed to the world.
And of all possibilities, Kai Heineman ended up releasing【Deboa】, and
led the three kings of the underworld along with the contracted spirit of
duchess Felis to subjugate the evil dragon.
Naturally, she also knew that Titan, one of the spirit kings was an extremely
powerful spirit. But according to spirit king of wind, Jin, who protected
Lorelei kingdom for generations, 【Deboa】 was irregular existence who
stumbled into this world. He even said that the evil dragon couldn’t be
defeated unless the entire world united their military might to fight it. That’s
why it was pretty much impossible for Titan to beat the evil dragon by
himself. And yet, according to the report from the investigation team, Titan
had single-handedly overwhelmed the evil dragon from beginning to the
end.
Thus, the fact that Titan who shouldn’t be able to defeat Deboa; became
strong enough to defeat the latter meant that Kai Heineman was involved in
the process. First, the main problem might not be as simple as that anymore.
That plan was by no means a haphazard one put together carelessly, it was
in fact an extremely thorough and well-thought plan. And the fact that
【Deboa】 was used in his plans meant that for Kai Heineman, 【Deboa】
wasn’t even a threat.
She thought that it was safe to overestimate Kai Heineman ability if it was
only the case. But then, Kai Heineman had personally slaughtered a giant
three-headed dragon who manifested from Deboa’s corpse, displaying
overwhelming strength. This had ironically boosted Millefeuille’s
【Clarrificator】 gift accuracy to a whole new height.
In short, the man called Kai Heineman was――
「The strongest transcendent in the history of this world…」
Transcendents―― They were abnormal existence that surpass even the
spirits, and dragons. Though no one had witnessed them before, they would
come out without fail in fairy-tale, or myths. And yet, Kai Heineman
insisted that he wasn’t one.
In fact, Inea thought that Millefeuille was exaggerating things when the
latter was explaining the matter about Kai Heineman. But now, she couldn’t
think a reason why he insisted on that. If she didn’t hear from Millefeuille
before that Kai Heineman was insisting to be a human, Inea might have
assumed that Kai Heineman was playing a prank on her.
‘I can understand that idiot prince of the human race who insisted that Kai
Heineman did something really unforgivable to him.’
Nevertheless――
「Trying to sentence Kai Heineman with the death penalty, eh… what a
buffoon.」
No matter how much she could relate to Gilbert’s feelings, she felt no shred
of sympathy for the latter.
Because if what Millefeuille had said was true, Kai Heineman still regarded
himself as a human. The reason why he didn’t go as far as killing the idiotic
and reckless prince was the very evidence of that. Thus, if the action was
taken within the rules of being human, Kai Heineman wouldn’t go
overboard. Since that was the case, she felt that advancing with the first
plan wouldn’t rouse Kai Heineman’s anger.
「I’ve never expected that such a plan will make me so nervous and
exhausted.」
Inea heaved a deep sigh,
「But―― this is interesting!」
Yet muttered so with sparkling eyes in the right next moment.
The prologue starts with the executive body of the slaine theocracy
gathering in to talk about the recent matters of the Sorcerer Kingdom

✓ They mentioned that the Re-Estize Kingdom’s fate of destruction is now

sealed and that they can’t do anything about it anymore

✓ One of them mentions his concern for the Kingdom’s magic items, such
as the five treasures being plundered by the Sorcerer Kingdom which they
spared no thought since they can’t deploy anyone to do the work and that
it’s dangerous

✓ Then one of the cardinals mentions that they should consider getting
Brain Unglaus on their side and have him assist them (of course they don’t
know he’s dead)

✓ They then mentioned that some of the adventurers from the kingdom
have escaped to the theocracy, but because they are just “thorns” to them,
they thought of getting rid of them

✓ So one of them suggested that they should send these adventurers to the
Draconic Kingdom to assist in the war against the Beastmen country

✓ It is also mentioned that the Draconic Kingdom is purchasing powerful

undeads from the Sorcerer Kingdom which made the two countries’ closer
diplomatically
✓ They then mentioned that sending the adventurers might leak
information, to which is debunked since they thought that it’s better to
reveal their capability to use teleportation magic

✓ They also mentioned that they’re still working on developing spell scrolls
of the fifth tier and above (even after centuries) so that they can easily
access the use of teleportation magic

✓ It is revealed that the Theocracy is capable of developing spell scrolls up

til the fourth tier and that they can brew potions they call as “God’s blood”
(Red Ygdrassil potion?)

✓ Then one of them spoke out his thought about why would the Sorcerer
Kingdom order a massacre on the Re-Estize Kingdom over a stolen grain

✓ They think that first, It’s for the SK to show their military might, second
is because the Sorcerer King is an undead, and third is to turn the destroyed
places into a spawning area for the undead like the Katze Plains

✓ They thought that he did this in order to absorb the spawned undead into
his kingdom, and that he got this idea from collecting something valuable
from the Katze Plains

✓ They then also thought that he did this so that a buffer between the
Sorcerer Kingdom and the Council State would be created, which would
protect the SK from the Council State. Alas, this would give the Sorcerer
Kingdom to focus it’s attention in the Theocracy

✓ Everyone was pained by this, they knew that in terms of military

prowess, the SK has the huge advantage and that they still don’t know it’s
full power, realizing this, they concluded that they have to form a
comprehensive alliance between them and the Council State

✓ But they knew that even if they formed an alliance, there are still
problems left to be dealt with even if they won against the SK
✓ So they thought that submitting to the SK would be more good, but
they’re also having trouble in thinking of ways to convince the citizens of
the Theocracy

✓ With them knowing that it’s the Theocracy’s turn next to be involved
with the SK, they then decided to finish the issue with the Elf Kingdom
now since it would be a problem to deal with the two countries at the same
time

✓ They then discussed that if SK were to directly confront the theocracy,

then they have to evacuate some of the citizens to the hidden village they
have built 600 years ago which is now guarded by the Ashendust Scripture

✓ They then discussed that one leader should go to lead all the evacuated
citizens, which grew heated due to them not deciding who will go but the
Pontifex Maximus spoke up

✓ They decided to postpone discussing the matter. They then mentioned

that they’re fine letting the run-away elves go, but they want to make sure
that the Elf King will die and suffer before he croaks

✓ They mentioned that even if Zesshi Zetsumei were to go leave the

country to kill the Elf King, the PDL would understand due to the situation.

✓ The prologue ends with them concluding the meeting, they were all now
sent by the Pontifex Maximus to each of their own to start making
preparations.

✓ The scene then transitions to Ainz in Nazarick, who just finished

stamping documents after a 30 minutes of time, as a start of the first
chapter.

✓ Ainz had considered decreasing the work of the NPCs as they have been
overworking all these time, so he thought of implementing a vacation plan
that includes a paid time off
✓ Ainz wanted the maids to consider not working hard and think that it’s
okay to slack off or decrease their eagerness in work, but he failed to
convince them

✓ Without having anything to do and no one to talk to as the maids beside

him is not speaking, he felt lonely and thought of having a change of
environment

✓ It is also mentioned that he was not just taking trainings with Cocytus but
is doing some with Pandora’s Actor as well

✓ Without anything to do, he then started to think that it’s time to carry out
his plan for Aura and Mare to make friends and he thought of starting with
the dark elves

✓ it is also mentioned that Shalltear was the one who had been taking care
of the frost dragons

✓ So he headed to the 6th Floor along with Lumiere (maid) with his
objective to gather intel from the three elves they took in

✓ After entering the 6th floor, he was greeted by Aura and asked what he’s
doing there, so Ainz asked her about the elves they have taken in

✓ Ainz told Aura that he came in to mentally pressure the elves and see
how things changed in the 6th floor since they have fetched many creatures
from the Great Forest of Tob inside

✓ So Aura brought him to the meadow, where several plant-type monsters

are gathered, she then mentioned Pinison, the dryad had taken the role title
as the chief of the plant monsters

✓ It is mentioned that due to the twins overwhelming power, the monsters

they took had submitted to them and obeys every order they give, some of
them revere Mare as a god
✓ While she is leading him in the floor, Aura then suggested to ride a beast
which Ainz agreed to

✓ Aura then excuses herself and wore a necklace, which is a magic item
that allows her to have conversation with Mare even in far away (like a
cellphone)

✓ So she contacted Mare and told him that Ainz came to have an inspection
in the 6th floor, she also mentioned that she thinks Ainz came in to check
on the two of them

✓ With them confused, they discussed a little more about his goal in this
visit but they can’t think of anything any longer,

✓ But Aura also mentioned that Ainz came in to check up on the elves they
have taken in, and Mare expresses his dislike about them

✓ He mentions that the three elves keeps on blabbing about elven royalties,
is helping him dress and take a bath, which he finds annoying

✓ Hearing this, Aura then told him to prepare as they are near and will soon
arrive to meet him and the elves

✓ The meadow of the 6th floor was then mentioned, it is said to have no
traps at all as they haven’t deployed any either, it is mentioned that they
planned to put one but because of the AOG’s female members’ opposition
to it, there was no traps then at all

✓ Ainz arrives in the meadow, he saw different creatures in it, and saw that
there are huge carrots being eaten by spear needles, Aura then mentioned
that they’re safe to eat

✓ Aura also introduced an Alraune Lord, which leads the 14 Alraune in the
floor, looking at the alraune, Ainz remembered Neia Baraja
✓ The Alraune Lord then greets Aura and looked at Ainz, so Aura proudly
introduced who Ainz is to her, so the Alraune greeted Ainz also and
introduced herself as “Violet”

✓ After looking in the meadow, he asked Aura to now take him to the elves
and with them arriving, Mare and the elves greeted him

✓ With Ainz glaring at the elves, they then felt nervous and is frozen in
fear, so Ainz told that he didn’t come to harm them, then Ainz asked the
elves where they feel comfortable to speak

✓ The elves suddenly spoke and implied that they want to speak inside the
twins’ tree house

✓ But with Ainz thinking that the elves are their visitors, he thought that
they should treat them with a drink first before talking

✓ Aura realize later on that Ainz wants to talk in a different place, so she
told him which he corresponds that she’s right

✓ so Ainz think first of where to go and the cafeteria on the 9th floor came
up on his mind

✓ So he asked the twins if they have eaten already which they reply with a
no, then he also asked the elves to come with them to which the three
replied that they’d go

✓ Ainz asks the two if it’s fine to bring them and they replied that it is, so
Ainz used [Gate] to travel into the 9th Floor

✓ Arriving at the gate of the 9th Floor, He was greeted by Cocytus’

subordinates, and due to their figure, the elves got afraid and one of them
slipped and couldn’t stand
✓ Ainz then told them that no one in Nazarick will hurt them, but he knew
that telling them wouldn’t work, so he told Aura to pick her up and used
[Gate] again to travel into his room

✓ Arriving in the room, they sat down and has managed to calm down so
Ainz told them to go now since they can now stand up, then he took the
lead

✓ While on their way to the cafeteria, Ainz hears the elves behind his back
singing praises on the beauty of the place

✓ As they got near, Ainz hears the noise inside the cafeteria, but when he
entered, it suddenly turned silent so Ainz told them to keep doing what they
are doing

✓ Going forward, they sat on a table a little away from the maids, with the
twins sitting besides Ainz and the elves in front of them

✓ Ainz then asks Lumiere what is available and to give him a lunch menu,
he then ask them if they know Katsudon (of course, they don’t lol)

✓ The twins then mentions what they want to eat to which the elves nodded
to follow, Lumiere also ask what drink they want, then she goes to the
kitchen to fetch them foods

✓ And then, as she enters, the head chef then appears and sprints towards
them and knelt down to greet Ainz, his name is Shihoutu Tokitu, the
guardian of the cafeteria

✓ Shihoutu Tokitu then says in a loud voice that he will make a meal
worthy of Ainz, the maids cried in admiration, but Ainz told them to not do
that as he can’t eat and that it’ll be a waste

✓ Shihoutu then rebutted that it’s not a waste to make food for him, but
Ainz continues to convince that he just came here to talk, and that only the
twins and the elves should eat

✓ Ainz then manages to convince him with some words, and then he came
back to his post to cook their food, then Aura tells everyone to continue
what they are doing

✓ Lumiere then brought them their favorite drink and gave Ainz a coffee,
sniffing it’s aroma, Ainz thought that it’s wonderful

✓ Drinking what has been serve to them, the Elves calmed down as they
really loved it’s taste, they even asked for seconds.

✓ Ainz seeing this, he then thought that it’s time to bring up his matter with
the elven country, he mentions what he know about it

✓ Ainz mentions that Albedo never thought about forming diplomatic

relations with it, that he knew that the Elf King is strong (doesn’t know how
much) and that it’s war against the Theocracy (they also know the reason of
war)

✓ He thought that he should bring the topic up by saying that he wants to

form diplomatic relations with the country (though what he really wants is
for the twins to make friends)

✓ so Ainz asked the elves who just came back from getting seconds, he
asked what’s the country of the elves is like?

✓ The elves then describes that they live in the woods and they use the top
of the trees for their houses

✓ The elves continues, by saying that their priest uses magic on trees to
transform it and build their houses, they call these trees suitable with magic
as “Elven Trees”
✓ The elves also tells them what they know about the capital, they also
mentioned that there’s a huge lake besides it, where powerful monsters
resides

✓ It is mentioned then that through their magic, they can transform elven
trees into different varieties of things such as bridges

✓ Ainz then thought that this kind of magic doesn’t exist in Ygdrassil

✓ It is mentioned that the oldest they have lived was until 300years old and
that their population is not that huge

✓ After hearing that, Ainz asks them where to go to return them to their
village, the elves look to each other and Ainz thought that they don’t
probably want to go home as it’s the village where the theocracy captured
them

✓ So Ainz changed the question to where is a safe place to go in the

country, but the elves know nothing outside of their village so Ainz
suggested to bring them back to the elven capital, as it’s a way to form
diplomatic relationship with the elf kingdom

✓ But as Ainz suggests this, he sensed that the elves wants to say
something but is just hesitating, so he asked Aura/Mare to go away from
awhile so that they can speak

✓ The elves told Ainz that they’d prefer to live inside Nazarick than to go
back in the elven country, they prefer the food, they prefer to serve the twin
guardians, and it’s safe inside it

✓ Convinced by hearing this, Ainz didn’t rejected their request and told
them to be of use to Nazarick, to which the elves is happy to hear.

✓ Ainz then asks them to be their guide as they travel inside the country but
the elves do really know nothing about the country. So Ainz instead ask
them what they think of dark elves

✓ The three elves replied that they’re wonderful people, but they also know
little about them since only a few dark elves lives in the country and it’s
rare for them to visit other elf

✓ Ainz then ask them what does the elves think of Undead, they
immediately answers that they’re terrifying beings.

✓ After this, Ainz then thought that it seems impossible for him to form a
diplomatic relations then, and without having anyone to send as a
diplomatic representative, they’re also losing time since the elves is slowly
being dominated by the Theocracy

✓ and since he doesn’t want to intervene between their war and to make
hostilities against the theocracy, he thought that he should forget forming
diplomatic relations but only go to the dark elves and help them evacuate
from the theocracy

✓ Thinking of this, Ainz then asked the elves what souvenirs would they
like to bring back, so they suggested their own, he did this in order for the
elves to think that the Sorcerer Kingdom is a nice place and have them
testify it’s glory to the elves they’re about to meet

✓ Ainz also mentions that he wants Nazarick to acquire or monopolize the

technique that elves use on elven trees, that if they can’t learn it, then they
should make those who can use them on their side

✓ After all the chat, Ainz decided to visit the oxbow lake first where strong
monsters reside, then the elf capital to gather information then head to the
dark elf village

✓ As Aura and Mare came back at the table, they asked if they’re going to
the dark elf village, which Ainz replied that they are, and so he let them
continue to eat their food
✓ The scene then transitions to Ainz in the throne room, with Albedo
entering after she had been called a while ago, then Ainz told her that he
will be taking a paid vacation

✓ Albedo suddenly had a strange reaction and said that everything from SK
and Nazarick belongs to Ainz, which confused him

✓ Ainz knew that Albedo misunderstood something and that because there
wasn’t a paid vacation system rolling in Nazarick, he thought that what he
said is a mistake, so he apologize for confusing her, he then continues to say
that he will be taking a vacation, and with the twins inside the room, she
knew that they will tag along in this vacation

✓ With Albedo knowing that Aura and Mare will be tagging with Ainz, she
asked him where He will take the two, so Ainz told her that they’ll be
visiting the Elf Kingdom

✓ Albedo gasped a little, and asked if he’s going to form diplomatic

relationship but Ainz said that he’s just going to see what’s going on.

✓ Albedo replied with “Understood” and didn’t ask any further which made
Ainz realize that she misinterpreted something again, or thought that she
thinks he’s doing a scheme again

✓ Given the situation of the Theocracy, they knew that action must be taken
now, so Albedo told him that if he wanted to immediately leave, then they
can go without worrying about the twins making preparation

✓ Ainz then mentions that since their influence on the continent has
expanded, the organization of Nazarick grew larger, so he thought that as
they have more responsibilities, they should also have time to take
vacations

✓ And with the twins tagging along with Ainz, albedo told him to leave all
the responsibilities left by them to her, to Demiurge and to Pandora’s Actor,
as Albedo believes that the twins will do the same when they also take their
own vacation

✓ But Mare remarks that he’s not confident to meet the expectations of the
Supreme One in carrying the job that Albedo and Demiurge might leave if
they took a vacation, in response, this triggered Albedo and made her shout
that it’s a floor guardians job to meet the expectation of their supreme
master

✓ Ainz then told Albedo to stop and let Mare think that if he can’t, then it’s
okay. But Aura remarked that what Albedo is saying is correct and is coldly
putting the blame on Mare

✓ Ainz worried about what’ll happen to their relationship took the initiative
to resolve the problem and rebuke them all equally

✓ Albedo and Mare apologizes to each other and Ainz told Albedo that she
can leave some of the responsibilities to her subordinates if it’s too much
for them

✓ Albedo then asks if he will assign Hanzos as his bodyguards Ainz

thought that he should save some of them for a while, and told her that he
won’t bring them and confirms that he will bring something other instead.

✓ Ainz then closes the discussion and leaves the throne room, Aura then
came up and asked Albedo what she knows about Ainz’s aim in having
vacation in the Elf Kingdom

✓ Albedo then mentions that according to their prediction, the Theocracy is

launching a full-scale offensive war against the Elf Kingdom

✓ She mentions that while the Sorcerer Kingdom is not yet hostile against
the Theocracy, a conflict would brew sooner or later in the future.

✓ Albedo thinks that it’s okay to let the elf kingdom be destroyed and help
them later when they become slaves, but she thought that it seems Ainz had
devised a strategy more different than her idea

✓ Albedo then told them that Demiurge should know something more than
she does, as Demiurge excels when it comes to military affairs, but it seems
that he is not taking any actions, so she thought that Demiurge might be
keeping some info as a secret from them

✓ So she advises the twins to contact Demiurge as much as possible to

gather info from him, she also considers that he might be bringing some of
his demon subordinate

✓ So they thought that it’s possible that there will be a fight between them
and the theocracy, so Albedo told them that while she is not involve in the
whole operation she will still make preparations

✓ Although, they are still confused why Ainz used the term “paid leave” so
they thought that he is doing something to fix the organizational decline of
Nazarick, that it could also be the reason why he isn’t taking guards with
him

✓ Albedo reminds the twins to stay alert and keep observing Ainz’s actions
to predict on what they have to do next and to consult on Demiurge so that
they won’t mess up

✓ She also told them to still protect Ainz, that while the Elves and the
Theocracy isn’t much of a threat, they still have to be alert

✓ The first chapter then ends with them leaving the throne room thinking
about carrying the order of their work

✓ The scene then transitions to the Elf country’s Great Sea of Forest, as a
start for the second chapter

✓ There, one of the Theocracy’s six sects, the Holocaust Scripture is lying
behind the trees, with their leader being named as Gwen
✓ Before him was an elf girl, who’s equipped with a magic bow with
unlimited number of arrows, it is said that this elf girl has already
massacred thousands of the Theocracy’s foot soldiers

✓ It is mentioned that individuals who reached the realms of heroes are

automatically recruited in the Black Scripture

✓ Gwen who’s about to engage with the elf girl used [Invisibility] and
[Silence] so that he can get approach the elf girl and attack her

✓ Gwen felt a cold sweat, as he thinks that one mistake and it will lead into
his death, so he made sure to carefully observe each of her actions as he
moves

✓ The elf girl then moves, with [Elephant’s Ear] activated, Gwen could
hear the foot soldiers approaching the elf girl, and with the elf girl noticing
the approaching soldiers, she then stretches her bow and shoot an arrow in
the sky

✓ with [Hawk’s Eye] also active, Gwen notices the arrow and saw it
multiplying in the sky and falling down like a rain in all directions, in a
second, Gwen heard screams of pain from the foot soldiers, he noticed that
no one was unharmed.

✓ Confused by the attack, the foot soldiers ran away but the elf girl
stretches her bow once again, and suddenly, Gwen could no longer hear the
voices of the foot soldiers, they all died.

✓ Gwen realize that the elf girl still hasn’t grasped his presence, so he used
a spell that enables him to launch 12 [Magic Arrows] in all directions

✓ The Magic Arrows was able to struck the elf girl and he saw the her
collapsed, but afraid that she might be using Illusion Magic, he made sure
to remain invisible and approach the corpse carefully.
✓ After turning her around, he confirmed that the Elf girl really died and
while he felt that the elf girl deserves her death and that he took revenge for
his fallen comrades, he still felt guilty for doing this

✓ Gwen decides to take the elf girl’s bow, but when his hand is about to
pick it up, a voice suddenly sounds in front of him saying: “good grief”
(yare yare)

✓ Surprised by this, he stiffened and slowly look up to the person standing

before him, looking at it’s heterochromatic eyes, he knew who was the
person before him, It was the Elf King

✓ The Elf King then mentions that the elf girl is a failure as well, and
implied that it was his daughter

✓ Gwen immediately attempted to escape through Invisibility but the Elf

King was still able to track him with his eyes, he knew that he has
incredible perceptual ability, even so, he turned away and continue running

✓ But out of nowhere, the Elf King closed in the gaps, realizing that it’s
impossible to escape, Gwen shouted to inform his subordinates to leave him
behind and run away back to the Theocracy

✓ the Elf King then summons his [Behemoth] and ordered it to kill Gwen,
it is described to be small yet have big chunky arms, it looks like an
unknown fusion of an ore and rocks. Gwen views it as ugly

✓ Gwen then resolves himself to die here and buy his subordinates enough
time to escape, and as he sets to attack, he saw the Elf King’s twisted smug
look, which he find to look so disgusting and irritating

✓ He then used [Stone Wall] to create a barrier between them but the
Behemoth broke through it easily with a punch
✓ The Behemoth swing it’s other fist towards Gwen, and before it pulps
him into the ground, he felt relieved and laughed a little as he knew that his
subordinates managed to escape.

✓ The scene then transitions to the Elf King on his way back to the royal
capital’s castle, his name is revealed to be Dechem Hogan

✓ He expresses his distress for wasting time, and mentions that the magic
items that he lent his daughter is something he inherited from his parent

✓ And because he has no subordinate he can trust, especially with

recovering the magic items, he has to do it himself

✓ It is then mentioned that Dechem thinks that elves are the strongest race
in the world, and it’s said that his Father proved this. He even thinks that
they’re from the race of a High Elf or of an Elf Lord but that seems not to
be the case, all the other elves in the country are just the same as him,
they’re elves

✓ So he’s confused why the others around him are weak, and with him
trying to prove that elves are the strongest race in the world

✓ He thought that he should produce a strong child, but to do this he

thought that the mother should be strong as well or else it wouldn’t work

✓ However he believed that his elven children cannot awaken their strength
unless he sends them to the battlefield, but most of them didn’t came back
alive at all and it makes his head ache to see things like this

✓ While pondering over this, a woman who looks so angry approached

him, it is revealed to be the mother of the elf girl earlier, the woman asked
the king where the child is, but Dechem asks her about who is the child
she’s talking about
✓ The mother then mentions the elf girl’s name to be Rugi, but Dechem, the
elf king can’t remember her as she is not worth to remember

✓ The mother then turns to the bow he is holding and asked him if she is
dead, then Dechem realized that she was talking about the failure who died
earlier, he confirmed that she died in a normal calm manner

✓ The mother’s voice slowly trembled, but Dechem thought that she is
tearing up because she was embarrassed that her daughter is a failure to the
elf king (which is wrong, this dumbass)

✓ So he thought that he should give the mother another chance, so he

invited her to come to his chamber and make love, and mentions that he
should bring the armor and the bow first back into the Treasury

✓ After bringing the items back, he returned to his room chamber, and then
his butler came in and informs him that the woman she called earlier to
come into his room has committed suicide

✓ Dechem confused to why the woman has suicided, asked his butler for
confirmation, the butler confirms that there are witness, having a hard time
thinking of the reason why, he concluded in the end that this is her way of
apology for giving birth to a failure

✓ The butler then mentions only the woman knows the reason why, so
Dechem told him to bury the corpse as a way of his forgiveness, but even
so, he’s still longing to mate with someone else

✓ Dechem then asks the butler if he has a daughter, but if she’s still young
then the butler’s wife would do, hearing this, the butler trembled and has
slowly answered the king that he would bring her then.

✓ Leaving the room, it is then mentioned that he already forgot the woman
who committed suicide
✓ The scene then transitions to Ainz in the Elf Country’s Great Forest, it is
already midnight, but he was amazed by how huge the forest is and that due
to the blows of winds in the forest, it kinds reminds him of the sea

✓ While amazed by how huge the whole forest is, Ainz then mentions that
he discovered two things in the elf kingdom, first is the oxbow lake where
the royal capital is located, the second is the path that connects to the
theocracy

✓ Ainz thought that the theocracy destroyed the surrounding trees to create
this path, but while looking around in the sky, there seems to be no sign of
any trees burning

✓ So he thought that the Theocracy is probably avoiding to kill the elves

with fire because they want to capture some elves and turn them into their
slaves

✓ Ainz using the spell [Perfect Unknowable] continues to hides his

presence in wary of attracting any powerful enemies

✓ After descending from the sky, Ainz decides to move forward to the royal
capital, the place is so dark and only a hint of moonlight can be seen around
due to the thick forest

✓ Approaching the capital, Ainz notices that it’s just similar to elven
villages but the capital is obviously packed with more residents and is
bigger unlike in remote villages where only a few hundreds of elves live

✓ Ainz then continues his plan to infiltrate the capital, so he started using
spells and scrolls, the spell he activate is [God’s Eye] that can slip through
walls he and used [Perfect Unknowable] on it so that even if it infiltrates the
capital, no one could see it floating around and observing the whole place

✓ Ainz wary of the elves superhuman abilities tested if the elven patrols
can see it, but it seems that they can’t. The elves are seen holding bows as
weapon
✓ After that, with [God’s Eye] he infiltrated the capital and observes the
place, after minutes of observation, Ainz saw that the place is just like
another forest with various households. It has no plaza, no boulevards, no
signboards, it’s more primitive than the human settlements and capitals

✓ with [God’s Eye] he then enters an elven tree house, and saw that there’s
a family of elves sleeping in it’s third floor

✓ Ainz seeing the elves comfortably sleeping, he felt jealous as he can’t do

that anymore. He then canceled [God’s Eye] and decided to return to the
twins

✓ It is then mentioned that Ainz created a small cottage that blends in the
forest through the spell [Secret Green House] and as he near in, Fenrir who
they only brought along notices someone nearing in, so Ainz also cancelled
[Perfect Unknowable] and Fenrir bows his head down seeing that it was
their master.

✓ Ainz then enters the place, Aura and Mare welcomes him back, they
seem to be wearing pajamas or something they wear to sleep

✓ Entering inside, Ainz and the twins sat down in the living room, as he
intends to share them the info he gathered in the royal capital. But he
notices that Mare is trying his hard to stay awake as he is sleepy

✓ so Ainz decides to bring him back into his bedroom, but Aura who’s
equipped with a sleep-negating item decides to stay with Ainz and guard
him, she apologizes for Mare’s conduct but Ainz says that it’s okay since
they’re on a vacation

✓ Ainz then told Aura everything he gathered, the road that the theocracy’s
forces built, and that he can’t find anything important in the elven capital
during the Night
✓ so Aura suggests that they should gather info at the noon which Ainz
agreed with, and with that, he told Aura to go back and have her sleep, and
he went back to his room and reads a book

✓ 2 days later, he finally got a grasp of the capital’s structure and saw some
shops in the place

✓ Aura and Mare came back too and told Ainz what they have gathered,
they mentioned that the elves uses their trees as well as a road

✓ Ainz then came to an elven house, he’s using [God’s Eye] and saw only
one elf sleeping, so used a mind-control spell on the elf and used a
teleportation spell on the lone elf

✓ Surprised by the sudden change of scenery, Ainz told the Elf that he used
a teleportation spell and entered the cottage along with the elf he kidnapped

✓ Not wanting to waste time, Ainz takes out a memo book, and started
asking the elf, he asks where the dark elves live, what the elves know about
the Theocracy, and if forest elves have a bad relationship with dark elves

✓ The elf answers that dark elves resides in the southeast of the capital but
he doesn’t know it’s exact location, next is, he brands the theocracy as
hateful humans and is attacking them out of no reason, and his last answer
is that dark elves are just relatives to elves but they don’t know much about
each other and doesn’t interferes with each other.

✓ Hearing his answer, Ainz then asks Aura if she could track the dark elf
village by the information they got, which she replied that she can.

✓ Ainz then asks if the elf knows how to use magic but he doesn’t seem to
know about it. While Ainz wants to know more about elves, he doesn’t
want to waste time so they put him to sleep and erased his memories
✓ After that, he asked the twins to carry the elf with him, and used [Gate] in
the lone elf’s house to bring him back, and because they used a spell to put
the elf asleep, they have to hurt him first so that he will wake up, Ainz then
saw a wooden figurine and before he came back in the gate, he threw it on
the elf and he woke up

✓ The elf waking up, mentions a name, and suddenly pose into a form of
worship, it seems that the figurine is the form of the god they worship, and
because that figurine hit him, the elf thought that it was conveying a
message

✓ Ainz then closes the day and told the twins to rest as they are going to
depart for the dark elves village tomorrow

✓ The next day, Ainz with the twins riding Fenrir is now running through
the Great Sea of Trees, Ainz felt a little excited as he can feel the spirit of
adventure in their travel, he is amazed by how Aura is managing to look for
the village in such a short time

✓ While pondering over things about the forest, Aura then asks Ainz on
what he is going to do now, so Ainz said that just like what he did on their
way to the dwarves, he will also build a Fortress and have Aura continue
the search for the dark elves with Fenrir

✓ so Aura continued going around in the forest with Fenrir, and with Ainz
and Mare left, Ainz summon a Cerberus and commands it to inform him if
there are unfamiliar scent nearing in

✓ Ainz then asks the Cerberus if it’s capable of smelling up until 100meters
but the Cerberus reply implies that it seems impossible, we can also see
Mare rubbing it’s belly

✓ Mare then suggest to Ainz to build a Secret Green House again and hide
inside it for awhile, which Ainz did.
✓ But Ainz kinda feels guilty that he’s just here waiting while Aura is
working hard to find the village, but he shakes off the thought in his mind
and tells Mare to wait for Aura with him. Mare’s bright smile made Ainz
ease up a little

✓ The scene then transitions to a bear-like monster, it’s appearance was

described, it’s strength and toughness is like no other, and it can use one
magic, a magic that it uses to hides his scent and hunt down on it’s prey. It’s
a magic beast called “Ankyloursus”

✓ It is then mentioned that the Ankyloursus is preying both on Aura and

Fenrir, and is a little bit confused as to why they are not running away, it
thinks that they’re so afraid that they cannot run.

✓ As the Ankyloursus approaches, it suddenly felt pain from it’s hips, it fell
down due to the severe pain, it seems that Aura attacked it with her whip

✓ Seeing Aura approach him, the Ankyloursus is confused as to why she is

not afraid, she should be the prey and him as the predator

✓ Aura then entangles the Ankyloursus with her whip, and says that she
doesn’t want to make Ainz wait a little longer. So she ponders on what she
should do with the magic beast before her

✓ Aura remembers Ainz words before, so instead of killing it, she decides
to use it for an experiment. While pondering, the Ankyloursus then tries to
cut up the whip with nails, but it’s ineffective, he got more confused

✓ The Ankyloursus then realized that the one before him is tremendously
strong, but out of nowhere, Aura took away the whip and shouted to go
RUN

✓ The Ankyloursus who can still feel the severe pain ran away in a cold
sweat, he thought that this time, he is the prey.
✓ The scene transitions back to Ainz and Mare in the cottage, to make up
for his guilt, Ainz decides to prepare food for Aura to eat when she came
back from working hard. To get the food, he teleported back into Nazarick
and asked the chef to make food for him

✓ Wary that they may attract someone with the scent of the food, Ainz
made sure that the food’s scent will not be strong and had Mare summon a
wind elemental through a magic item, so that any scent will fly up in the
sky. Mare then gives back the item to Ainz

✓ Mare and Ainz then discusses how they can summon different elementals
through this item

✓ Suddenly, the Cerberus growls in a direction, and since the cerberus

never met aura, they thought that it was her that the Cerberus smells, but it
seems not to be the case

✓ Ainz then activates [Perfect Unknowable] and in a few seconds, the

Ankyloursus appeared in front of them, next to it is Fenrir, with Aura riding
on it’s back

✓ Seeing this, Ainz deactivates the spell, surprised by Ainz sudden

appearance. Aura immediately got down and greeted Ainz

✓ Aura then told Ainz that she caught this magic beast in the area, so Ainz
thought that this place should be this beast’ territory and is the reason why
no one approaches in this area

✓ Ainz then asks Aura that by taming this beast, the beast she caught and
keep in Nazarick is no longer in her control,

✓ but Aura says that it’s alright because she just dominated it with strength,
seeing the beast, it reminds Ainz of Hamsuke, so he asks Aura if who is
stronger, this beast or Hamsuke
✓ Aura then honestly answered that in terms of physical strength, the beast
is stronger, but now that Hamsuke has gained the warrior class and if she
wears her armor, she might be able to win against this beast

✓ Ainz then tells Aura to go back to the Secret House, and while going
back, Aura says that she saw different creatures and rare herbs and plants
inside the forest, but since they are not here to discover such things, Ainz
thought that he should send adventurers to do that job

✓ Ainz then asks Aura on what she is planning to do with the beast, that it
would be beneficial for them if the beast is as intelligent as Hamsuke, but if
it wasn’t then it would just cause a mess on the 6th floor

✓ so Aura says that if it’s smart enough to be trained then it’d be good,
hearing this, Ainz praised Aura for being able to think of things for herself.

✓ As they got near in green house, Ainz then told Aura that he prepared
food from Nazarick for her, seeing them, Mare welcomes her back, Ainz
also mentions that there’s food for Fenrir, and the Ankyloursus doesn’t need
to have one since it ate something before meeting her and getting caught.

✓ They entered the safe house, and then ate, the food is delicious and while
they are eating, Ainz tells them his next plans

✓ Ainz plans to relocate the green house and continue his search for the
dark elf village and once they found them he will make friendly relationship
with them, and to carry out this plan, he needs Aura to do something

✓ So the twins asks Ainz what’s his plan, so Ainz told them that this idea
came from a book, a book entitled the “Crying Red Demon”

✓ Mare then mentions that he just read this book the other day, and knew
what Ainz was planning
✓ Ainz then says that they will be using the bear that Aura brought! The
second chapter then closes with them smiling to each other.

✓ The third chapter opens with the introduction of the dark elf village, it is
mentioned that there’s no difference between forest elves and dark elves
besides their skin color and social life in the forest

✓ It is also mentioned that the dark elves possessed the knowledge to create
beast-repellants, they sprinkle this repellents around the village to keep
dangerous beasts from entering, only dark elves know this technique, it is
also mentioned that they are originally from a different forest and only
moved to the elf Country’s Great Sea of Trees

✓ It is then mentioned that hearing echoing roars from the outside is a daily
occurrence in the village, but this time, a slightly different roar was heard

✓ A dark elf man known in the whole village, calls on the attention of all
the soldiers in the village, his name is Agnia Blueberry and he has a unique
bow in his hand, a bow that they could only have after performing well in
their once in a three years archery contest

✓ It is then mentioned that the whole village has 200 residents living in it,
and in front of the whole congregation before him, Agnia says in a loud
voice that the roar they heard earlier was from an Ankyloursus, and the
people before him all turned tensed up

✓ It is mentioned that there are several dangerous beasts in the whole great
sea of trees, and an Ankyloursus is one of them due to it’s tough hide and
armor-like body and that it is feared by everyone in the whole village as
running away from it is impossible

✓ A dark elf woman then asks if what they really heard earlier was from an
Ankyloursus, as she’s not sure if it really was. She is one of the head
hunters in the village besides Agnia
✓ Agnia then confirms that there is no mistaking it, that even up until today,
he still remembers the power difference between him and the beast

✓ Then another one of the village head hunters also speak, he mentions that
them hearing the roars of an Ankyloursus means that several creatures has
entered near their territory

✓ They then wondered what creature has entered the territory that made an
Ankyloursus run after it, and for the sake of their safety, they would just let
that creature be caught by the Ankyloursus

✓ A dark elf then asks Agnia, as to why he has to summon everyone of

them together when even if they heard it’s roar, the territory of the
Ankyloursus is still far away from their village

✓ Agnia then mentions that a change in the territory of the forest beasts is
probably occuring and says something might happen

✓ But someone suddenly brushed off his idea, by saying that even if a
creature escaping from the Ankyloursus is approaching near the village,
why they should care, and since they would continuously patrol around the
village they’d make sure to inform them if there are changes. Hearing this,
everyone seems to aagree
✓ But with the situation still uncertain, Agnia tells them that today’s
hunting will be cancelled, and since one of the hunters caught a big prey,
they would still have food to spare and some extra fruits to booth

✓ He continues by telling everyone to inform the others who are not with
them, and the rest of the matter will be discussed along with the elders

✓ Everyone then spreads out and shares their opinions to each other, no one
disagrees Agnia as they know that while the forest gives it blessing to them,
it could also bring forth destruction
✓ Agnia walking along with Ganen, one of the headhunter, asks if it would
be better to immediately inform the other villages about the situation, or to
grasp the whole situation first before informing them

✓ On a standstill, Ganen then says that it’s better to ask the elders, but since
Agnia doesn’t like the hard-headedness of the elders, it would be better to
piece out their opinions together and make a decision

✓ Agnia continues to convince Ganen, by asking if she knows enough

about the threat of Ankyloursus, he continues by saying that discussing the
situation with the elders would just prolong the matter

✓ Convinced by this, Ganen then says that she can take over agnia’s
guarding job for over a day to investigate the situation with the
Ankyloursus

✓ As they continue to discuss, a very loud roar from the forest echoes, and
they felt that it was really close by, hearing them say it’s close made all the
dark elves feel anxious

✓ Everyone then speaks out their opinions about the situation, they seem to
think that the Ankyloursus is really running after a prey who entered it’s
territory, they mention that they shouldn’t let it enter the vicinity of the
village, that doing so would get the village as targeted as a feeding ground
for the beast

✓ Agnia who’s been hearing opinions one after one another claps his hand
and told everyone to stay alert as the situation currently unfolding is
abnormal

✓ Agnia continues, he tells everyone that to defeat the beast, they need the
help of everyone, especially those who can use magic, he mentions that it
would be possible to defeat it through the means of magic

✓ He also mentions that they should take the initiative to fight, they don’t
have to gather and consult the elders. He then tells one of the head hunter
that he will leave the job to him

✓ The head hunter then orders that half of the soldiers will stay to fend off
the beast and the rest will warn the villagers and keep them away from the
impending danger

✓ Agnia then continues to assign each of the head hunters a job to do and
tells them move now immediately

✓ Impressed by his leadership skills, one of the headhunters tells Agnia that
he should become the village leader next time, but Agnia brushed it off
since being the leader will be troublesome and that doing so might spring
up conflict between the villages since his family is not known among the
dark elves

✓ Agnia breaks up with the head hunter and then proceeds to run to the
direction where the roar was heard

✓ With everyone doing their job successfully, Some time has passed but
they couldn’t hear anymore from the Ankyloursus

✓ This made the tension among them diminish, they thought that the
Ankyloursus may have finally caught it’s prey

✓ Each of the head hunter lines up to each other and says that they should
investigate the beast’ territory as soon as possible and one of them says to
leave it to him

✓ But with Agnia looking at the direction where the roar came from, he
suddenly saw something moving behind the huge trees

✓ He suddenly made a bird-like sound, and it alerted all the dark elves
around him as they knew the meaning of him making the sound
✓ One of the dark elves uttered the word Ankyloursus, and everyone knew
in that moment, that the big shadow moving behind the huge trees was none
other than the Ankyloursus

✓ As the shadow gets closer, the dark elves saw that the one approaching
them is too big, it is then mentioned that among the magic beasts in the
forest, those whose growth is abnormal are considered as the king of their
whole species

✓ A normal Ankyloursus itself is a huge threat to the whole village, what

even more, the very Ankyloursus King itself is slowly approaching the
whole village

✓ One of the dark elves mentions that the King’s territory should be near in
the other dark elf village of aju, hearing this made the other speculate that
the dark elves of aju may have been eaten by the King, they also thought
that maybe the Ankyloursus near them have became a King as well and that
the other king is still near in the village of aju

✓ While they spoke out their speculations, the Ankyloursus King has gotten
closer to them, tension and despair has spread out in the atmosphere,
everyone is anxious

✓ With everyone knowing what’s about to happen to them, they lose all
hope, but suddenly, Agnia made a loud cry “Move!”

✓ one of the headhunters then asked Agnia if he knew that it’s coming, and
out of panic, Agnia answered that he didn’t know what to say in this
situation

✓ But as the Ankyloursus gets near, they started to notice that it’s moving
in an odd way, it’s moving slowly, normally, they’re magic beast that would
instantly run after their prey, but the king isn’t doing that

✓ One of them then suggests to throw oil to the Ankyloursus King and
summon a fire spirit to burn it up, due to it’s huge body, it’d be easy to
throw oil at it

✓ And to avoid burning up the whole forest, they also suggested to summon
a water spirit.

✓ As the Ankyloursus continues to approach them slowly, they thought that

it’s teaching it’s child on how to hunt their food

✓ But suddenly the Ankyloursus started to rush after them, confused by

how the beast is moving, the dark elves still continue to run in the village’s
bridge

✓ Entering the village, the Ankyloursus suddenly stood up, it’s so huge that
it can reach the bridge

✓ The dark elves saw that the beast is destroying each of the elven trees
around it

✓ Seeing that there’s no one besides the beasts, they realize that it wasn’t
teaching it’s children on how to hunt, so Agnia thought that maybe a dark
elf attacked it and made this whole mess

✓ Seeing the beast destroy the Elf trees, they thought that they should
abandon the village, and leave a meat for it to eat for awhile and come back
later when it’s gone

✓ Someone then ran in the village center to fetch some meat to give to the
Ankyloursus but suddenly, the Ankyloursus started to destroy the elven
trees faster than it was doing on the first elf tree it destroyed

✓ panicked by it’s sudden wild movement, Agnia and the others shoot their
arrows against it, however, the Ankyloursus continued in destroying the elf
trees
✓ Not wanting to let the Ankyloursus reach the village’s square, everyone
jumped of the bridge and run towards the magic beast

✓ In a short time, Agnia reached the Ankyloursus, he threw his bow, then
made a loud cry and jumped at the back of the magic beast

✓ The Ankyloursus then rampages and is trying to shake off Agnia from it’s
back, it’s intensely shaking it’s body, but Agnia endures on continues to
hold on its back

✓ Seeing the villagers and the others watch him, he shouts telling them to
run away, responding to this, the beast got even more intense on rampaging

✓ He continues to hold on to its back and is trying to stab It with his

dagger, but it’s not penetrating due to it’s tough hide

✓ After a short while, the Ankyloursus slowed down in rampaging, with his
hands holding on its back firmly, it became numb, seeing that it slowed, he
raised his body and thought that he should stab it’s eyes or nose

✓ But after letting one of his hand go, the magic beast continued to
rampage again, as he falls down, Agnia let go of his dagger and took out a
leather bag to support his body

✓ Falling to the ground, Agnia can’t move his body, seeing that the beast
has stopped moving, he thought that it will now eat him up, so he resolved
himself to his death

✓ But suddenly, the Ankyloursus continued to destroy the elf trees again,
seeing this, one of the headhunter tells Agnia to stand and hurry up

✓ As the beast destroys the trees, suddenly an arrow flew out from
somewhere and hits the elf tree that the beast is trying to destroy, just like
how the elves stopped moving, the Ankyloursus stopped as well
✓ “Umm. That’s about it” a cute voice echoed, it’s Aura, she suddenly
appeared from behind a huge tree.

✓ Seeing Aura, Agnia couldn’t help but mutter the words “how beautiful”,
he felt as if the world around is glittering

✓ As he looks at her, he sniffed a strange smell, it was a fragrant smell

coming from Aura, and he also notices that she’s holding a bow with a good
design, he thought that it must’ve been a powerful bow but he brushed off
the thought and continued to focus on her

✓ Aura then tells that she won’t let any more violence to happen, hearing
her voice, Agnia thought that it was so cute, he noticed the Ankyloursus
Lord growling and realized that it was afraid and wary of Aura

✓ But Agnia also thought that the Ankyloursus must’ve been charmed as
well, but he brushed it off and rebuke himself to stop thinking stupid ideas,
he repeats and thought that it must’ve been overwhelmed by the beautiful
dark elf

✓ Aura then tells the magic beasts to go, afraid of Aura, the Ankyloursus
rushed and ran away, the dark elves seeing this situation before them, was
amazed and is maybe saying words praising Aura

✓ Hearing them all speak after another, he got annoyed as he can’t hear the
beautiful dark elf, and as they went on, he could no longer hear the
footsteps of the Ankyloursus

✓ Aura then asks Agnia who is on the ground, if he is okay, with

excitement inside of him, Agnia said in a weird manner that he is doing
good, seeing him act like that, Aura looked at him strangely

✓ Agnia apologizes and says that he’s like this because of the fear he felt
against the magic beast
✓ One of them then thanked Aura for shooting her arrow.

✓ Agnia also bows and thanked Aura, and since the others saw that he is
acting weird, they thought that it’s because he’s injured, so they brought
him a stretcher, then he let himself be carried by it, and as he ponders, he
realized that he is inlove, for the first time in his life of 254 years

✓ The scene then transitions after a few time, Aura is seen to be following
one of the head hunters, and in her back, are some dark elves who’s
following as well, they’re on their way to the village elders

✓ Aura notices that the villagers don’t seem to think that the Ankyloursus
has any connections with her, and she also ponders about the instructions
that Ainz gave to her, she wondered why Ainz didn’t want to let anyone in
the village to die?

✓ The instructions that Ainz gave her was to create a friendly standing
position to the dark elves, but she thought that it’d be more better to let
some of them to die first then arrive later to save the day

✓ Aura who’s pondering calls unto Albedo and Demiurge and asks their
thoughts about Ainz’s plan with the Ankyloursus, but Albedo can’t think of
anything, and Demiurge suggest that Ainz probably thinks that he could
have some more use for it later

✓ Aura then remembers that Ainz told her not to kill the Ankyloursus in
front of the dark elves, probably due to it being a rare kind of beast and that
it’s strength has value in the new world

✓ She was then told to just follow Ainz’s orders and she won’t make any
mistakes, but Aura can’t accept that kind of thinking, she thinks that just
like how excellent the two is in serving Ainz, she resolves herself that she
won’t lose and do her best

✓ Aura then stares at the headhunter walking before her who’s been silent
the whole time, she thought that a child like her just saved them, shouldn’t
he ask her some various questions

✓ She thought that maybe this is normal for some dark elves, or maybe he
just don’t want because he is unfamiliar with her, so Aura decided to jump
the gun and talk with him

✓ She says hello and asked the headhunter if he is an elder since she didn’t
saw him while the magic beast is rampaging

✓ The headhunter then suddenly asked if she calls an Ankyloursus just as a

magic beast, she blatantly lied and just said Yes, she then proceeds to say
that she wants to know more about the elders

✓ The headhunter then tells her that they’re on their way now to them, Aura
continues, and asked how many there are, he then mentioned that there are
3 elders

✓ Aura who’s walking behind him, runs to walk beside him, then continues,
by mentioning if the city has elders as well

✓ The headhunter then mentions what he knows about “City” that it’s just
like a village but bigger and with more residents, and with a king on it, so
he mentioned that if it has more people, then maybe 3 elders won’t be
enough to rule over them?

✓ Aura then mentions that there are almost no dark elves in her country, so
she didn’t know anything about what he is saying, Aura who doesn’t to say
much anymore just gave up on collecting information about the dark elves
from him

✓ The headhunter then asks her that she’s travelling so far away from her
village, but as she says, the country she isn’t from is not what he is thinking
and has almost no dark elves in it

✓ She then continues by telling him that several races like human and
demi-humans are living together in the country, the headhunter replies
seems to imply that he wasn’t that much interested about it

✓ But seconds later, he said that it’s impressive that despite of the diversity,
they’re all living peacefully with one another

✓ Aura then thought that this is because the country is ruled by her master,
so she thought that all races in the new world should be ruled under the
name of Ainz Ooal Gown, and that if the Supreme One offers to rule over
them, they should accept gracefully

✓ Aura also thought that she feels pity for the dark elves who didn’t knew
her master, Aura then continue to ponder about the Supreme Beings, she
thought that they are beings comparable to god, but she also feels
disappointed that there are people outside of Nazarick who are on the same
level as them

✓ She thought that Ainz being wary is because of them, She continues to
think that if there are anyone whose powers is comparable to the Supreme
Beings in this world, then they should be famous or well-known in history

✓ But since there aren’t any information about such beings for now, Aura
resolves herself to stay vigilant, especially when events such as turmoils
and wars happened again, since someone will probably intervene again and
show up to attack

✓ As Aura ponders over this, the headhunter spoke, he mentions that

they’re not really that strong, but despite that they try their hardest to
struggle, have conflict, or maybe cooperate with other races to live in a
safer place, he continues by asking if the monsters outside the forest is
really strong

✓ Aura who heard this thought that he is probably implying if she was
really strong, but Aura replies by asking a different question, she asked how
long have he been in the village and why he didn’t know about the outside
of the forest.
✓ The headhunter replies that the elves said they’ve been here since 300
years ago, and since then, no other dark elves has gone out of the forest

✓ Hearing him say, she then mentions that she was born 300 years ago as
well, but changes it into saying that she’s been living for almost 200 years
already, she then notices that the headhunter change his expression, so she
tried her best not to look at him so as to stay natural, so the headhunter just
convinced himself then what is will be it.

✓ Aura then suggests to him to go out of the forest, she then says that the
Sorcerer Kingdom is a nice place, and that while they may find trouble,
they will be supported along the way so that they can live in it

✓ The headhunter believes that the place is really wonderful as she said, but
also says that moving to a new place will be quite cause anxiousness to
them, he mentions that he’s fine where he is just now

✓ Aura then suggests that if he doesn’t want, then maybe some other dark
elf could try to go instead to visit the country, the headhunter says that it’s
not a bad idea, the only problem is to confirm whether if anyone wants to
go and how many will, so he mentions that it’d be better to get the opinion
of the elders, but also says that some of them might disagree to this idea

✓ Aura proceeds to asks him if the elders she’s about to meet are a pain in
the ass kind of people, but as she asked that, they finally arrived to their
destination, the elf house where the elders are gathered

✓ The headhunter then calls on the elders saying that a guest has visited,
then two men and one woman dark elf came out, they don’t look old but is
comparable to a 30 years old human

✓ The headhunter then introduces the elders to Aura and says that she is the
guest who drove out the Ankyloursus Lord away from the village.

✓ Seeing them, Aura slightly bow to them, as she thought that she has to
make a good impression to form friendly relationship with them for the
future as Ainz commanded her

✓ She introduces her name and the elder in the middle greets in return, the
other elders rebuked him and said that he shouldn’t just call her name with
familiarity and to say their gratitude first for saving the village, the other
elder agreed with this, so the elder in the middle has express his gratitude to
her

✓ The elder woman then proceeds to talk and seems to bicker with the other
two, Aura in front of them ponders that maybe the elders wants to get her
on each of their side, she also thinks on how she should act and what action
will bear the most benefit to Nazarick

✓ so she thought that she should ask Ainz for an advice, but she thought
that the reason why Ainz told her anything was for the sake for her growth
as a floor guardian and is expecting her to think for herself, but Aura seems
to feel that it’s too much for her

✓ She continues to think that she should be careful and not to make a
mistake, so she thought that she has to find a way to find something that
could benefit Nazarick

✓ As she ponders over this, she saw that the elders is still bickering in front
of her, so she thought that maybe she could take advantage of this situation
and that it may be convenient for her, she then realized that maybe this is
Ainz intention from the very start.

✓ She then mentions that if she didn’t come all the way through here, then
could they beat the magic beast themselves? She continues that she wants
them to show her what they can be proud of, hearing her say this, the elders
went silent

✓ While it’s true that she drove off the Ankyloursus Lord, the way she is
acting is still cheeky and might make both the opposing elders go against
her, but she thought that may not be the case
✓ She thought that if one would be go against her, then the other elder
would be on her side, although the mission was for her to establish friendly
relations but it doesn’t necessarily mean that all the dark elves has to be on
their friendly side.

✓ The elders then proceeds to ask her why she has come to visit the village

✓ Aura then says that they could call her as Fiora, since it’s her surname,
she continues by saying that she heard a rumor that there are dark elves
living in the area and that she came in to stay and interact with people who
are of the same race.

✓ she is then asked if she’s alone, she replied that she’s alone from now, but
she has companions. She mentions that she was asked to go first since she’s
good at travelling in the forest.

✓ She then mentions that in atleast 3 days, her uncle who is also her master
and other companion might be able to come as well, she says that her
master’s name is Ainz Ooal Gown, the elder confused why she is calling
him uncle has asked why she is calling him that

✓ Aura replied that her real parent is missing and that her uncle is raising
her, and in her mind, Aura apologizes to her creator

✓ The elders hearing this says sorry for hearing about that, and since Aura
has the ability to drive off the beast, it’s perfectly fine for them to let them
stay in the village, so the elders confirmed if she really wants to stay

✓ Aura then confirms with a yes, and the elders command the headhunter to
lead Aura into the best elf tree in the village, and they also suggested that if
her uncle and little brother comes in three days, then they could throw a
welcome party for them if it’s okay for them, Aura gladly accept it

✓ They continued that if it’s also okay for her to tell more about the country
she came from, as they don’t know anything from outside of the forest
✓ Aura thinks for awhile, she thought that there’s no merit in doing so, that
she couldn’t let information just flow easily, but she couldn’t just leave and
say a lie about it, so she thought that it would be better to consult Ainz first
regarding this situation, as he would come later

✓ But since she has no option for a reply, she thought why Ainz didn’t told
her anything and is hiding things from her, so she thought that if she
wouldn’t receive a message, then she should think about it herself and give
the answer

✓ Since she’s pondering for awhile, the elder woman asked her if she’s
alright, so Aura immediately replied that she can talk about her travel
stories and “fairy path” the elder and the others who heard about are
amused and thought that it’s just a legend

NOTE: The Fairy Path described here is the 9th Tier spell [Blessing of
Titania] a spell that summons a fairy, that can lead someone to a much more
safer path along the way of their journey

✓ The elder woman continues and asked her if it’s alright to call her Aura
instead of just Fiora. At first, Aura felt uncomfortable but she thought that
she has to endure since Ainz instructed her to build friendly relations, so
she agreed and said it’s fine

✓ The elder says that it’s a nice name which made Aura happy since she
felt that the Supreme Being was complimented indirectly

✓ The elder woman who’s in a good mood continues to talk with her,
saying about how the dark elves living from the north used the fairy path to
travel to this place, It is mentioned that the ones on Nazarick doesn’t have
the ability to travel that far, while she is glad to get that information, she
thought that she made a slight mistake and and in heart, she wanted to
clench her fist

✓ The scene then transitions to Aura reaching the elf tree that the will
accommodate, guided by the headhunter
✓ It is then mentioned that Ainz who is using [Perfect Unknowable] has
been trailing Aura this whole time, he sighed a breath of relief

✓ Ainz heard someone say to eavesdrop on what the elders is talking about,
so Ainz decided to do that, he then used [Fly] to go to the elf tree where the
elders resides

✓ Ainz then went on to listen to them, one of the elders mentioned asked
the opinion of the two, if they think that what she says is true, then one says
that he don’t think she’s lying since difficult to travel in the forest without
fairy path, the other agrees, since she has the power to drive off the
Ankyloursus Lord

✓ The elder says that it’s because of her weapon, that it shines like a gem
and is maybe a gift from the fairies

✓ The bow was originally from Ainz, listening to them, Ainz thought that
maybe they should advertise runecraft here as well

✓ Ainz continues to eavesdrop, one of the elder wished for her to stay
forever, but debunked that wish since it’s impossible and that they may visit
the other dark elf village to interact with them as well

✓ And since they want to know why she came to visit them first, she
thought that they should make a flashy big party for them

✓ A party so memorable enough that even if they visit the other villages,
they would remember this place more, and for that, she will prepare food
for three days

✓ The other elder then ask if he hates young people but shrugged that it’s
not like that, he just can’t help but cooperate to this plan as well
✓ He continues to say that during the welcome party, they should asks her
uncle about the fairy path, since the elders has already lost their fairy
blessing, the other elder says that he’s doing it to have a good reputation in
the other dark elf village

✓ But he denies that remark and says that if they hear more about how she
received her fairy blessing, then they might as well know how to get back
their own as well

✓ Ainz hearing their conversation concluded that the fairy they’re talking
about is not a race but is instead the spirit kind of fairy, Ainz says that fairy
blessings exist in Ygdrassil as well but also thought that maybe what
they’re talking about has a different power, or maybe it is a special job class
that enables them to be friends with fairies, a class that might enable them
to use the fairy path

✓ Ainz who continues to eavesdrop thought that they may have visited the
wrong village, as it’s elders only wanted to use Aura to fix up their village’s
mess against the other villages, but the elders discussion shifted into about
the welcome party, they mentioned that they should make a good
impression to them through this event since the guests will spread rumors
about their village once they come back to the Sorcerer Kingdom

✓ Ainz then decides to go back and used [Greater Teleportation] and

deactivated [Perfect Unknowable] and as he gets back, Mare greets him and
says that it nothing seems to happened while he is gone

✓ Right next to Mare are some undead and as he looks around them, He
asks if Fenrir is not back yet, Mare replies that he isn’t yet, it is mentioned
that Fenn’s job is to lead the Ankyloursus Lord back to this hideout after
doing it’s job in the dark elf village

✓ Since because the dark elves has Aura with them now, Ainz thought that
they may send a subjugation force to eliminate it, so as to not let Fenn and
the Ankyloursus Lord leave their traces, they had Fenn equipped with an
item that conceals the traces of their movements
✓ While Ainz could just carry it and use fly to bring it back to the hideout,
he is busy in gathering information while following Aura and making sure
that in the case of emergency, he is with her and can help her retreat, so he
just left the job to Fenn

✓ Ainz then asks Mare if she received any messages from Aura and Mare
answers that he received word that she successfully infiltrated the dark elf
village, the communication item that Aura and Mare can be used to direct
info if there is an emergency, but If a strong enemy appears, Aura cannot
inform Mare since she has her hands full and that her equipment was
changed to an extent during her infiltration, so Ainz made sure to secretly
follow and guard her

✓ It was mentioned that Ainz didn’t put any guard for Aura and kinds of
regret not doing so, such as putting an undead to stay besides her

✓ But Ainz also thinks that doing so has two merits, first is that he can
saved up summoning a monster only until emergency comes, and the
second is that Aura wouldn’t think much about Nazarick and can focus on
making friends

✓ Ainz then mentions that there’s a fatal flaw in the plan he has made,
instead of becoming friends with them, Aura instead became their savior, so
he thought that she couldn’t have any equal standing to anyone of them, so
Ainz thought that he should take action to change the situation and just turn
Aura into another child not bounded by her title as the village’s savior

✓ Ainz pondering over this then looks at Mare, he thought that it’s not only
Aura who should make friends, Mare as well has too, However, there is a
problem with Mare, and that’s because he is dressed to look like a girl due
to his creator’s hobby

✓ Ainz who secretly infiltrated the village with Aura saw that the dark
elves are wearing long trousers, while the women is also dressed with skirt,
they’re wearing something similar to tights
✓ As he continue to ponder, Ainz then thought that he should try to look
into what Mare is wearing under his skirt by flipping it while using [Perfect
Unknowable], Ainz then started to have an inner conflict, saying that he
wants to test this experiment to find out if just flipping his skirt will disable
the Perfect Unknowable spell and also he wants to know what Mare is
wearing under the skirt

✓ Ainz debuked the idea as it is improper and should try it on Albedo

instead of Mare, so he continues on what he’s thinking earlier, Mare being
dressed to look like a woman

✓ He thought that Mare might be isolated from the dark elves if he’s
dressed like that, Ainz sighs in his mind and expressed how he never
thought that Bukubukuchagama’s hobby would stress him this much

✓ Ainz then breaths and glances at Mare and told him that he wanted Mare
to stop being dressed like this, with Mare having a change of expression,
Ainz continues trying to explain things, by saying that just like Aura, he
wants Mare to come into the dark elf village as well, he says that he should
wear a costume and that he has a mission for him to accomplish

✓ Ainz then thought that it seems unfair to say this only to Mare, he should
say the same as well to Aura, Ainz can’t put up words anymore, he can’t
think of excuses to make to Mare

✓ Ainz then remembers Aura who has changed her equipment and outfit,
Ainz explains that it wouldn’t be good if the dark elves notices that their
equipment is too strong and has high stats

✓ Mare impressed by how Ainz considered this, says to leave it to him,

Ainz says if it was okay, Mare replies that since it’s for infiltration, his
creator Bukubukuchagama would understand

✓ Ainz felt and thought that he should apologize to Mare for making him
do this, he then told Mare to get ready to join Aura, and thought that the
plan for the two make friends is in its final stages

✓ The scene then transitions to Aura in the forest, she is holding the bow
that the dark elves lent her and is hunting a magic beast along with the
village head hunters, Ainz sees that Aura seems to look serious just like the
other dark elves besides her

✓ It is mentioned that Ainz is tailing her again using [Perfect Unknowable]

and is watching the hunting operation of the dark elves

✓ Ainz notices that this whole time no one has noticed him except Aura, As
he watched them, Aura shoots her arrow out and it reached the Giant-
Horned Deer, but even if after receiving a headshot it didn’t fall or stumble,
then Aura continues to hit it again in the head and it rolled down

NOTE: Just as I mentioned earlier it’s a bow that the dark elves lent her and
not the one that she usually have and uses that’s why it’s weak

✓ Agnia praised Aura and Ainz noticed that this dark elf is just like one of
Aura’s followers, someone whose admiration and respect for her is on
another level, looking at the dark elf man reminded Ainz of Neia Baraja’s
expression when he revived her

✓ It seems that this is the second time that Aura tagged along with their
hunt, and Ainz thought that this isn’t how the man acted on the first time
hunt with Aura, but suddenly he changed.

✓ Ainz thought that this man is her number one fan, and that he’s just a
hindrance to Ainz plan in having the twins make friends, Ainz thought that
killing him would be his last resort

✓ Aura then asks if it’s good, Agnia then replies that it’s good and had the
other head hunters to tie the magic beast with a rope and hung it up on a
tree branch
✓ But due to it’s huge body, the 3 dark elves is having a hard time to lift it
up, Aura then come forward and lifted it up by herself and hang it in the
branch, seeing this, the dark elves praised Aura (anyway, they’re calling her
as Fiora-sama) and Ainz agrees to their praises to Aura, but she thought that
what she did is just normal and felt like she was being ridiculed.

✓ The dark elves proceeds to dismantle the demon beast, one of the dark
elves used a spell on it to cool it’s body down, then they cut down it’s neck
and collected the blood that flowed down

✓ It is then mentioned that they cooled it down to keep bacterias from

growing in it, and that they use it’s blood for cooking, the hunter then
mentions to throw away the internal organs and the head in a hole they dug
up, the dark elves continues and chopped down some of it’s body parts
using their own way of style

✓ After that, the dark elves brought it down and tied it up with a stick and
continues to head back to the village, Aura who’s job is to watch out for her
surroundings isn’t helping them

✓ Usually it takes them a long time just to be able to hunt one, but thanks to
Aura, they were able to hunt one easily and come back faster, one of the
headhunters then praised Aura’s skills, but she brushed it off and that there
are more amazing people than her, just like her “uncle”

✓ The headhunter then replies that her uncle and younger brother will come
tomorrow, he asks if they’re forest rangers like her as well, but Aura says
that they are not. The headhunter was still impressed since they managed to
travel through the forest even if they’re not a forest ranger and he continues
to ask on what they can do

✓ Aura brushed off the question by saying to remain vigilant around them,
since she’s not sure on how much she should say about them, the head
hunter went silent and Ainz that maybe he got angry with her and that she
might lose her good reputation with the way she is acting, but his worries
were useless
✓ One of the headhunters apologizes and Aura says that it’s okay since
she’s doing her best to check up on their surroundings. Seeing this
conversation, Ainz felt happy as he saw how she handled it is a sign that the
NPCs is growing

✓ Along with Aura, they then successfully came back to the village without
encountering any beasts, losing his tension, one of the headhunters shouted
and said that Aura caught another prey for them again

✓ Ainz knowing what will happen had his palm on his face, but he
understood that this reaction is normal, having caught a huge prey should of
course be celebrated, but Ainz didn’t want the dark elves to highly favor
and admire Aura even more

✓ The villagers gathered together to see the huge prey that they caught and
Aura proceeds to go back and leave the demon beast’ corpse to them, and
the head hunter accepts and says to leave it to him

✓ As Aura heads back to the elf tree she’s accommodated, she looks back
and saw that Ainz had stayed behind, it was mentioned that he did because
he wants to hear words about what the dark elf villagers think about Aura

✓ Aura thought that she would continue making good relationship with the
dark elves just like how Ainz instructed her to do. As she went back, more
dark elves gathered one after another to look at the prey they caught, some
children came as well.

✓ The dismantled meat was then distributed to each of the villagers, the
head hunter says to make sure to thank Aura for catching them another meat
again, it seems that dark elves get to rarely eat meat due to how the dark elf
hunters usually failed to catch one

✓ Ainz wasn’t displeased that the dark elves were thankful, however one of
the head hunters mentions that they wouldn’t mind entrusting the whole
village to her, not only she has the power to drive off an Ankyloursus, her
hunting skills are top notch as well

✓ Some dark elves who hears this opinion seems to agree to it and some of
the children were listening to the opinions being shared.

✓ Then one of the dark elves remarked that isn’t she too young to do that,
one of the head hunters changed his expression and remarked that age isn’t
an indication to being a good ruler, but the ability and talent is the greatest
indication to make them qualified, since being old and experienced alone
won’t be enough to help them survive in the forest, but excellent talent
would do, Ainz agreed to this

✓ But one of the dark elf woman agreed that she’s too young, and another
follower of Aura remarked that isn’t her word just like what the elders
would say, this triggered the woman and they started arguing about
dismissing the elders and assign leaders who are more capable to do so.

✓ Ainz observing them frowns and says in his heart that they should stop
since that’s not the reason they came in this village, he also thought that if
Aura were to see them like this, then she might decide to take over the
village and expand the Sorcerer Kingdom

✓ But Ainz doesn’t want her to do that, as the dark elf adults continue to
bicker about the leadership in the village, Ainz took a glance at the children
who’s watching them, and the whole energy of the atmosphere went dim

✓ Ainz then thought that unlike Suzuki Satoru’s world, a child should’ve
been approaching Aura, but there wasn’t anyone. He thought that the
curiosity that the child should have for Aura may have been suppressed due
to how wary they are of the Forest’ dangers

✓ But Ainz remember what he overheard from the dark elf adults, he
remembers that the children was told not to approach and disturb Aura, and
as the situation unfolds, he sighed and thought that she wouldn’t really
make friends if it stays like this
✓ Ainz thinking that parents could be such a pain at times has decided to
use [Greater Teleportation] to go back

✓ The scene transitions to Zesshi Zetsumei who just had a lucid dream, a
dream about her childhood days where she is always beaten up by her
mother

✓ She also remembers in her dream about her Aunt, who used to cook food
for her but is already dead, she mentions that her mother never cooked food
or ate something with her, all her mother has ever done for was to put her in
a “training” to beat her up

✓ Deep in her thoughts, she knew that her mother hated her, as she was
child conceived through rape, her mother never called her by name, nor
celebrated birthdays with her.

✓ But since her mother never attempted to kill her, she thought that she
wasn’t hated, she also remembers that her aunt used to stop her mother and
tells her mother to give Zesshi a break

✓ She remembers her mother healing her wounds through magic, but her
face looks lifeless and cold and she remembers her mother saying that even
if she dies through the training, she could be resurrected

✓ Someone knocks and woke her up, but the woman who entered was kind
of scared by her, so Zesshi told the woman not to be scared, and she took
out a jacket and wore it.

✓ As she goes outside to the other room, the woman who woke up is there,
she apologizes for taking a long time but the woman says that it’s alright
and Apologizes as well for disturbing her sleep

✓ It is then mentioned that she is the 11th seat of the black scripture, the
trump card of the Theocracy and the defender of mankind, whose magical
powers is on another level as well
✓ Zesshi offers the woman to sit, but she refused so Zesshi tells her that
even if she sit, she won’t get angry, after all, they’re colleagues

✓ It is then mentioned that the woman before her is a member of the black
scripture as well, and just like the other members who got cocky/cheeky,
she was beaten up by Zesshi Zetsumei

✓ It is revealed that Zesshi’s job as the extra seat is to make cocky members
of the black scripture to humble themselves, since all of them are on the
realms of the heroes, they used to be cheeky. And the woman before her is
the most obedient to Zesshi after receiving a beat up

✓ The woman then tells her that she would like to say something to her, so
Zesshi asked what happened, the woman replies that the elf subjugation
army has continued further invasion in the country and that Zesshi is asked
to prepare herself to head out.

✓ Zesshi who heard this smiled creepily and the woman got scared, she
then tells herself to calm down and have her usual calm smile

✓ The third chapter ends with Zesshi wondering if something good will
happen soon.

✓ There is no epilogue, but there is an intermission after the third chapter

✓ The intermission starts with the introduction of Night Liches in the story,
it is said that they are beings more powerful than elder lich and can use
magic from the 6th tier up til above. They are beings very few in the New
World and is feared everywhere

✓ They are powerful enough to go head to head with normal dragons, and
has many undead underlings around them, most of them lives in
Impregnable fortresses
✓ One is a ruler of a nation, and there are 3 famous night Liches whose
territory is comparable to that of a small country

✓ A night lich character was introduced, named Banazeri Anchas, a night

lich with 2 heads and 6 arms with him. He is one of the founders of the
Undead Organization known as the “Corpuss of the Abyss”

✓ It is said that the organization was founded for the sake of settling peace
between each night liches in the world due to the fact that they may fight
against each other due to pieces of magical knowledge

✓ However due to understanding that it’s better to cooperate with each

other, they have come together and created the organization starting with 3
members until it grew into another number

✓ It is said that the organization has few rules, but once you violated one,
all the members will go after that violator

✓ And after 200 years, the organization grew to have 55 members, with 9
undeads on the council whose difficulty level is considered to be 150

✓ But due to most of them not being directly involved with the living, the
existence of the organization was only heard through rumors

✓ The next scene implies that the council members are gathering to have a
meeting

✓ It is then said that the most powerful of the three founders wasn’t invited
to their meeting right now. And only 7 members are present, it is mentioned
that the organization was established 400 years ago

✓ The names of the 8 council members was introduced: Ganko Kenrou

Bangunro “Abyss”, White Saint “Granz Locker”, Death Rider, King of
Corruption, Red Eye Prince, Wolf, Eater, Yellow Ghost
✓ continuing, the only one who’s not present is the White Saint, Granz
Locker, an undead woman wearing a white veil and is the very first night
lich to learn of 8th Tier magic and is aiming towards learning the 9th tier,
while her skills is acknowledged, most of the council members seems not to
like her due to her boasting her strength, taking their research but is not
making any contributions or giving some help

✓ The scene transitions to a flashback before the meeting, Granz speaks to

Banazeri and says that she wants to talk with him in their usual place, after
this, Banazeri left and used [Teleportation] after going in the dark.

✓ He teleported to the castle residence of one of the council members, the

“Red Eye” Kunivela, whose castle is usually used to hold the council
meeting. Arriving on it, he was guided by an undead underling to the
meeting room

✓ Arriving, Kunivela called out to Banazeri, it is mentioned that Kunivela

was once a human but turned himself into an undead.

✓ Banazeri who sits has asked the members if they truly wish to start the
meeting after Granz has arrived, there Are no objections. And since their
discussion is about their plan of rebellion against a certain someone whose
power is overwhelming

✓ They met in order to create a deterrent, it is also mentioned that the

council member can confirm that no one has atleast betrayed the
organization since Banazeri and the others are still safe

✓ Banazeri and the others concluded that “certain someone” are not aware
of anything yet, and within deep in his mind, he thought that he won’t let
them exploit them any longer

✓ The intermission ends with Banazeri thinking of the giant figure he met
earlier and throwing the thought away from his mind.
