Prince Tangcalagan Evaluation

Ever since I have entered the grade school up until the present, there were already subjects
that correlates about our history in the country, the Philippines. Readings in Philippine History mostly
talks about our culture, beliefs, races, and many more. My learnings in this subject, it still talks about
the history of our country, but it focuses on how our political system evolved overtime. Our political
system was affected from the different colonizers that conquered our lands, they influenced our
ancestors on adapting a political structure that could create a foundation of rules and regulations to
determine what is good or bad as a Filipino and for the country. This subject also helped me
understood what constitutions are and how they affect the country. The said subject also gave me a
better perspective in everything that happened in the past and how we should be vigilant to our
future especially in terms of voting wisely. I have also understood that the ones, the aspiring
government candidates, can also be the people who are trying to sabotage the whole system due to
unfavorable political parties. Though this subject has taught me much about the evolution of our
political structure and system, there are still unanswerable questions in terms on how we could
achieve the path on becoming as a developed country.
