Answer these questions:

1. Why REVOLUTION is still unfinished in this modern generation? (100 words)

-Revolution can never be finished. Our world is so dynamic that it created a very diverse
population leading to different opinions of every citizen in a state. Promises made in the politics in
talks of peace, order, prosperity, economic growth, and lawful justice can never be achieved
anywhere in the world. How? Well, because of the diversity in our population, we are always divided
what we believe. Even the most advanced countries are still trying to make themselves more advance
because there is no such thing as absolute success in a country, this is due to our dynamic world and
our never-ending growth in terms of population.

2. Philippines has a multi-party system in politics, should this system be removed in the congress?
Why? (100 words)

-It has its own pros and cons. For me, I believe having a multi-party system in politics is fine,
there is nothing wrong with that. One of the pros in here is that the certain political party could
easily create a political structure which they know they can work together as a team, they can
endorse it to the public on why they should vote straight. One of the cons is that after election, it is
really a big possibility that there will be a mix party list that will win, in this case, it will be hard for the
whole political body to work together as one since they belong to different political parties.

3. What are the causes of government corruption?

-The Philippine National Police (PNP) is recognized as one of the most corrupt agencies in
the country, and the Philippine police system is at high risk of corruption. There are multiple reports
of national police officers and 4,444 military personnel involved in criminal activities such as
blackmail, corruption, and involvement in regional struggles. Private companies also report that they
cannot rely solely on the support of police, half of whom choose to pay for private security.
Corruption of the Filipino judicial system is also a big problem. Bribes and irregular payments are
common in exchange for favorable court decisions. Although the judiciary is independent by law,
wealthy and powerful groups and individuals control and influence the judicial system and influence
the outcome of civil and criminal cases. Financial investment disputes often take an unnecessarily
long time due to staff shortages, resource depletion, and corruption of the judicial system. Law
enforcement officers' low wages help exacerbate bribery issues in exchange for benefits. The
judiciary has also been criticized for making opaque and biased court decisions. The political world in
the Philippines is not organized around party elections but is organized and run primarily by families
or family alliances. [10] A person called the Padrino system gains support, promotion, or political
appointment through family affiliation (nepotism) or friendship (nepotism), not through his own
merits. The Padrino system is the source of much controversy and corruption in the Philippines.

4. What is RED TAPE?

-Red Tape is the over-regulation and bureaucracies in dealing with government documents
that have caused severe damage to the Philippines for years. This culture of delay and negligence
fuels corruption and the country's disastrous achievements in the preparation of annual reports.
5. State your learnings in this subject.

-In this subject, I have learned so much more history in our country, especially in its political
systems and its evolutions. How the different colonizers have affected our political system and how
they influenced us as citizens. It also taught me on why we were colonized, why colonizers were
specifically drawn to us, and why we kept on losing the battles against different colonizers. Lastly, is
learning the significance of history and how this affected our constitutions.
