career (HGJPS-IIIf-16)
III. Introduction: At your stage now, it is good to think about your dream career. As you
notice, you are halfway of reaching your dream. The next three years, you will be in
college or working or having your own business. So, it is good that you will assess yourself
if the career you are about to choose fits your personality and character. In this activity,
we will help you in assessing your character that will be relevant to your chosen career.
May the activities be of great help to you.

make in the world and the way you want to live. This is clarified and defined by your
values.
1. Recall times when you have been so absorbed in what you were doing that you hardly
noticed the time. What were you doing?
2. Think about the things that you find meaningful. What do you think of? Include ideals,

Process Questions:
Instruction: Please feel free to answer the following questions. You may use the other
sheet of paper.
1. How do you see your values with the career of your choice?
2. Do you think your values have an impact on the career of your choice? Can you
cite example?
3. What are now your plans on the learning you have? Whom will you consult with?
Instruction: Draw a road of which your destination is the career of your choice. Take note
that you are now in Grade 9. On the side of the road you may write or draw signages or
symbols that will help you to reach the destination. If you encounter some other options,
you may put some crossroads. Please do it heartily so that you can have a material if you
wish to consult your school guidance counselor about the career of your choice.
You may use a separate sheet for this activity.
