What I Can Do

1. What do you think will happen if a sinkhole will occur in our home?
 If a sinkhole happens in our home, I believe we will experience wall cracks,
floor cracks, uneven flooring, door frame cracks, window frame cracks,
and difficult-to-close windows and doors.
2. What damage can it cause in our home?
 Doors will become jammed and will no longer latch. Windows that were
once easy to open have become difficult to open, stick, or refuse to open
or close completely. We may find that our cabinet doors and drawers aren't
closing or opening properly.
3. How do you think we can prevent this kind of scenario to happen?
 Sinkholes can be avoided by following water conservation guidelines and
enforcing drought restrictions.
4. How can we lessen the damage it can bring?
 Always check the water flow and don’t do anything to worsen the partial
impact of the sinkhole.
