In this specific fourth chapter, the autor goes on to talk about the way that critics
and artists first conceived the idea of separating an artistical object from the idea
itself, in other words a concept.
In order for the artistic vanguards of the time to attempt to decontruct themselves
into concepts they had to try different ways to make the most of the initial ideas
behind every piece, most of the popular representations such as, land art and
body art struggled to find their identity defined as a concept, this pure
reconfiguration of the meaning of art suddenly became a pseudo transition
period of time specifcally because of the fact that many artists were still on the
way to found themselves deconstructing all of their future art pieces.
As expected, a tedious debate about the defintion of dominant art started, some
of the arguments that wanted to discard the conceptual art from objectual art
were mainly focused on the process in which all the pieces get done.

Personally i think the way that the autor dissects the content seen in the fourth
chapter is to be honest kind of complex, in the sense that the whole chapter
goes for a more chronological approach by trying to explain how conceptual art
tried every once in a while to infiltrate between some of the main ideas of the
artists and their respective vanguards of each group of them.
