ABSTRACT

This thesis presents a proposal using Monitoring And Speeching voice via
Google Assistant and AI Chatbot. The system is implemented Using ordinary
household appliances Natural language voice commands are given to the Google
Assistant and with the help of IFTTT (IF This Then That) application and the
commands are decoded and then sent to the microcontroller, the microcontroller in
turn controls the relays connected to it as required, turning the device connected to the
respective relay On or OFF as per the users request to the Google Assistant. The
microcontroller used is NodeMCU (ESP8266) and the communication between the
microcontroller and the application is established via Wi-Fi (Internet). A chatbot is a
computer program that simulates human conversation through voice commands or
text chats or both. Chatbot, short for chatterbot, is an Artificial Intelligence (AI)
feature that can be embedded and used through any major messaging applications. A
chatbot is an automated program that interacts with customers like a human would
and cost little to nothing to engage with. Chatbots attend to customers at all times of
the day and week and are not limited by time or a physical location. This makes its
implementation appealing to a lot of businesses that may not have the man-power or
financial resources to keep employees working around the clock.
