My insights and realizations about our concept is that umm community immersion or helping the

community umm is a really good strategy in community organizing that is sought to imbibe among the
students or NSTP trainees a better understanding and realization of the different community concerns
through the exposure on actual life situations specifically in the remote places or (malalayong baryo)
and also underprivileged communities. Aside from that, I realize that there are many benefits of helping
community or community immersion to students like us example is that umm it provides an opportunity
to apply academic learning to real life events and it also builds relationships and ‘social connectedness’
with peers and adults, and exposes us to diversity and multiculturalism. Also, it improves our lifelong
communication, interpersonal and critical thinking skills. That’s my insights and realizations about our
concept.
