Today we’re going to talk about Chapter3: Different Systems in


Human Body. These are the reporters for today and these are the topics that we’re going
to tackle in this meeting. So, let’s start with the first topic.

The Importance of Focusing on Health Maintenance as a means for Disease Prevention

Preventing disease is very important. There are several ways we can prevent disease, and most
of it depends on focusing on health maintenance. Diet and exercise can do wonders in keeping
an individual healthy, but sometimes additional techniques need to be used to give the body a
boost. Traditional medicine shouldn’t be the only answer and it often doesn’t help in
preventing disease but is used when a person already has a disease. Alternative medicine is
able to prevent disease by using the latest advances in functional medicine. When we’re
young, we don’t really think about the importance of preventing disease, but as we get older, we
realize we need to focus on our health for several reasons.

So, why did I put this part here? kasi alam naman natin lahat na, dahil sa mga diseases,
viruses, bacterias ay nagiging mahina ang katawan so alam na natin yung kalaban natin
so mas madali nalang satin na alagaan yung katawan natin. So, sinabi dito na isa sa mga
solusyon para ma-prevent natin yung sarili natin sa mga disease, viruses na ito ay diet
and exercise para magkaroon tayo ng healthy na katawan at mas malakas na immune
system. Sinabi din dito yung Alternative medicine is able to prevent disease by using the
latest advances in functional medicine. So, satingin ko ay ito yung mga vitamins (ex:
enervon, poten-cee, centrum) ganon na tumutulong din para mapalakas yung immune
system natin. And nabanggit din dito yung mga traditional medicine so traditional
medicine ay yung mga herbal treatment or hebal medicine ganon and example din is
yung chiropractic medicine pero itong mga to ay nai-aapply lang kapag may sakit na tayo
tulad ng chiropractic medicine which is maiiwasan naman natin ito kung mageexercise
tayo araw araw. So, next naman is.

Healthy Immune System Prevents Disease

We all know that having a strong immune system means our bodies can more easily fight off
disease, viruses, and bad bacteria. However, most people don’t know how they can improve
their immune system, especially if they experience a chronically low immune system. While
there are vitamins that can be taken to strengthen the immune system, there are other ways to
improve the immune system, such as vitamin infusions and ultraviolet blood irradiation. By
improving the immune system, our bodies have a better chance of fighting infections and
disease, along with decreasing our risk of getting a disease.

So, nabanggit na jan yung ibang way para maboost yung immune system natin gusto ko
lang idagdag jan that apart from vitamin infusions and ultraviolet blood irradiation we
can also boost our immune system through not smoking. Eating fruits and vegetables.
Exercise regularly. Maintain a healthy weight. And If you drink alcohol, drink only in
moderation. And lastly is Take steps to prevent infection, such as washing your hands
often and cooking meat thoroughly. So maraming pang iba na way para iboost yung
immune system natin nasa satin nalang yung gawa para mangyare lahat ng iyon.

Improving Your Heart

When you focus on maintaining your health, you’ll also be improving your heart. A healthy heart
plays a vital role in preventing diseases, such as heart disease, strokes, and heart attacks.
Having a good diet, removing unnecessary stress and getting enough exercise are all great
ways to have a healthy heart. Functional medicine takes it one step further and provides you
with a plan specifically for you and your body to improve its health and ensure your overall
health is maintained. A healthy heart means the body has proper circulation, which is important
for your health and preventing disease.

So, based on the article na nabasa ko, A healthy heart pushes out more blood with each

iimprove natin yung puso natin pero hindi lang dapat physically kundi pati emotionally
dahil malaki din ang magiging impact ng puso natin satin kapag ito ay masaya walang
sakit na nararamdaman. So, next is..

Sleep is vital for our bodies to ensure they aren’t overworked, but exactly how much sleep
should everyone get? The number of hours a person needs to feel well-rested varies, but in
general, everyone should be getting anywhere between six to eight hours of sleep each
night. This allows the body to recover faster.

So, bukod sa makarecover ng mabilis ang ating katawan ay matutulungan din tayo ng
sapat na tulog sa pagkakaron ng mababang chance of serious health problems, like
diabetes and heart disease. Bat kasama diabetes? So, base sa experience ko every time na
napupuyat plus stress ay nagugutom ako palagi at kadalasan ay matatamis ang kinicrave
ko gabi gabi kaya yon kung maaga tayong nakakatulog mas mababa chance na kumain
tayo ng kung ano ano sa gabi and aside from it, getting enough sleep reduces our stress
and improve our mood. And lastly,
Maintaining Overall Health Provides Several Benefits

While maintaining your overall health is great for preventing disease, it also has a number of
benefits. When you maintain your health you are more likely to feel energetic and happy.
Furthermore, your body will be in better shape, you may find that you sleep better, and you’ll
just feel really good. Best of all, you’ll be able to prevent disease and your likelihood of getting
sick will decrease tremendously. By getting better sleep, exercising, having a proper diet, and
including functional medicine into your health routine, you’ll be able to enjoy life without worrying
about getting ill.

So, it is indeed na mahalaga na alagaan natin ang health natin dahil ito ang magiging
daan para sa mas mahabang buhay na gusto nating lahat.
