CAMP AWESOME® is a drop off only beach camp. Parents or authorized guardians listed on the
Registration Form must check-in and check-out their children from camp (children will not be
released from camp to someone who is not on the Registration Form as an Authorized
Guardian for safety purposes). If you would like your child to be released to someone who is
not on the Registration Form under Authorized Guardian, please update your account under
Registration to include that person(s).
If you have signed your camper up for regular hours and wish to switch to extended hours, you
may do so by going into your account, and adding Extended for the day or week to your cart. If
you wish to change from regular to extended hours the day of, it will be an additional $10,
which you can pay on-site by check or cash upon drop-off or pick-up.
CAMP AWESOME® sessions close at 4pm, 5pm, and 6pm. A late fee will be charged starting 1
minute after your designated pick-up time (ex. if your camper is signed up for regular hours, the
late fee would begin at 4:01pm). There will be a $10 late fee for every ten minutes the child
remains with CAMP AWESOME® staff. For Example: If you pick up your child between 6:01pm
and 6:10pm the late fee would be $10.00. The late fee will be charged per child. For Example: A
child picked up at 6:16pm the late fee will be $20.00, if two children are picked up at 6:09pm the
late fee per child is $10.00, the total will be $20.00. If the child is picked up at 6:30pm the late
fee will be $30 dollars, etc. If a child is not picked up by 6:30pm, the Police Department will be
notified.
There will be a one time warning for a late pick up (this will be documented and a form will
have to be signed by the parent and staff that states that you have received your first warning).
After the one time warning, if the child is picked up late, the late pick up fee must be paid.
Payment of late fees must be paid through cash or check when the child is picked up late.
Campers will not be able to attend camp until late fees have been paid

Camp Awesome® Staff / Special Needs or Disabilities/Camper Rules/
Camper Expectations
CAMP AWESOME® staff have experience working with youth of all ages. The staff must pass a
fingerprint and background check. All staff will go through CPR and First Aid Training. CAMP
AWESOME® offers volunteer opportunities.Volunteers will assist staff on leading, planning, and
developing activities.
SPECIAL NEEDS/DISABILITIES
All children are welcome to attend camp. If your camper has special needs, we recommend you
to contact the Camp Director prior to their first day to ensure we can provide the best and
safest experience for your camper. If extra attention is needed, parents are required to provide
this service with a certified practitioner and they will need to be with camper throughout
enrollment.
CAMPER RULES
*Parents, please discuss the following Camp Rules with your child before the beginning of camp.
Campers must respect camp property and other campers’ property (no stealing).
Respect your environment by throwing out all trash, and returning equipment to its proper
place after use.
*Remember you are at camp to have a fun, exciting, and awesome time while making new
friends, trying new activities, and building positive self-esteem in a safe environment.
CAMPER EXPECTATIONS
CAMP AWESOME® is designed for campers ages 4-13. In order to have an awesome
experience, campers need to have some level of self-sufficiency. While staff will be closely
supervising the children, campers need to be able to communicate with staff if they need to use
7
the restroom, if they're hungry, thirsty, don't feel well, lost an item, etc. Staff will periodically ask
campers if they need to use the restroom or need to get water throughout the day; if your
camper does not speak up, we can't help them.
Campers also need to recognize when it is lunch time. Staff will announce lunch time, and at this
time, campers are directed to find a spot in the shade and eat their lunch. While staff will make
every effort to ensure campers have their lunch and are eating, campers are ultimately
responsible for eating their lunch. If campers do not have a lunch, get sand in their lunch, etc.,
campers need to tell a staff.
If you think your camper may struggle with the above issues, please let us know ahead of time
so we can work with you and your camper to make sure they feel comfortable communicating
with our staff.
DISCIPLINE
CAMP AWESOME® reserves the right to dismiss any camper for inappropriate or unsafe
behavior. The Camp Director will always make an effort to discuss and resolve any issues with a
camper with their parent(s) or guardian(s). If a problem persists and cannot be corrected, the
decision to dismiss a camper will be made by the Camp Director in consultation with staff. No
refunds will be given for children who are dismissed from camp due to disciplinary reasons.
Campers will be given a warning first depending on the severity of their behavior.
The second time, if behavior persists, camper(s) will be removed from awesome activities for
5-10 minutes.
If the behavior persists after multiple warnings, the camper will be given a consequence form
which will need to be taken home and signed by parent or guardian to return to camp.
If a camper receives more than three consequence forms; or fewer depending on the severity of
infractions, they may be suspended from camp. The length of the suspension is based on the
severity of the offense. If this occurs, the camper’s parents or guardians will be notified of the
issue. If the camper is allowed to return to the program, the camper will be placed on probation
for the remainder of the summer. If there are any further incidents with the camper, he/she may
be expelled from CAMP AWESOME® .
*Note: All consequences depend on the severity of the offense. A camper can be immediately
suspended or permanently expelled from CAMP AWESOME® upon their first offense. Physical
assault, threats, fighting, possession of any item that may injure or harm anyone, theft, and
vandalism will not be tolerated.

What Not To Pack
No sodas, energy drinks, or caffeinated drinks allowed. Water, sports drinks, juice, and milk are
acceptable.
No personal electronics such as cellphones, tablets, music devices or other portable video
games devices. If brought to camp, they are the camper’s responsibility and CAMP AWESOME®
is not responsible for theft or damage. If parents want their child to carry a cellphone, it must
remain in his/her backpack and CAMP AWESOME® is not responsible for it being stolen or
damaged.
Campers are not allowed to share food due to safety purposes (some campers might be allergic
to some food products such as peanuts, milk, and seafood).
lost.
No weapons, fake weapons, or objects that may cause bodily or emotional harm.
No snacks that require cooking since there will be no place to heat it up at the beach.
No card games such as Pokemon,Yu-Gi-Oh, Magic, etc. since these often get lost, stolen or
damaged.
*Remember CAMP AWESOME® is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
WHAT TO PACK
CAMPERS SHOULD BRING BREAKFAST, LUNCH, AND SNACKS. Food should be kept in a
lunch bag to keep seagulls out. It is mandatory for campers to bring their CAMP AWESOME®
shirt. Please bring plenty of water since campers will be outdoors in the sun; water will be
needed to keep hydrated. There are drinking fountains available, however we recommend that
campers bring their own water. Sandals with heel straps or CROCS are preferred. Flip-flops are
optional, but campers need to bring some form of footwear for an active schedule and hot sand.
We encourage campers to stay in their swimwear the entire day. Changing is often not feasible
given the number of campers and the time it takes to change. Therefore, it is strongly
recommended that campers do not change and dry off in their swimwear.
9
Campers should bring a beach towel since they will be sitting on the sand and because they
might need one to dry off when they go in the water.
SUN BLOCK is crucial and should be brought to camp everyday. Please note: staff may
help campers put on sun block if needed; if you do not want us to put sun block on your child
please inform the camp director; if this is the case your child will be responsible for putting on
his/her own sun block. CAMP AWESOME® is not responsible for a child getting sun burned.
CAMP AWESOME® will have the campers put on sun block continuously throughout the day. If
a camper refuses to put on sun block, it will be documented and the parent(s) or guardian(s)
will be notified (Rash guard is mandatory if child is going in the water).
Campers should bring a backpack where they can store all their belongings. CAMP AWESOME®
is not responsible for anything that is damaged, lost, or stolen. It is the camper’s responsibility to
take care of their belongings.
*Note: Campers should pack a hat/cap, CAMP AWESOME® shirt, water bottle, sunscreen (spray
preferred), swimsuit, rash guard, towel, shoes with heel straps, breakfast, lunch, and snacks.
*Camp shirt will be given the first day child attends CAMP AWESOME®. Once camp shirt has
been received it is mandatory for campers to bring shirt to camp everyday.
AWESOME FRIDAYS
On Fridays, CAMP AWESOME® will have awesome parties. Campers will have to bring $5.00
on Friday for lunch that will be ordered by CAMP AWESOME® staff. The lunch will consist of
CAMP AWESOME® staff buying food from a fast food or restaurant location. Staff will
announce Friday's food choice a couple days in advance. This is optional, if a camper doesn’t
want to participate he/she will have to bring their own lunch to camp.
As a parent/guardian of a CAMP AWESOME® child, you will be able to follow up on your child’s
activities at the camp by going online through our social media sites.

In the unlikely event that an injury or illness requires emergency care, you will be notified
immediately. The director will contact 911, and paramedics will transport your child with
accompanying staff member to an emergency care facility. Parents or the designated guardian
will be responsible for any medical fees incurred.
If your child receives a minor injury, such as a scraped elbow, staff will administer basic First Aid
and will inform you of the incident when you pick up your child.
We strongly encourage you to administer any regular medication your child takes at home. Staff
will NOT administer any medication. The child, parent/guardian, or caregiver designated by the
parent/guardian will be responsible for administering any medications at the appropriate time.
Staff will try to remind the child of scheduled medication, but staff or CAMP AWESOME® are
NOT responsible for ensuring medication is taken. Staff will not carry medication; that is the
responsibility of the child, parent/guardian, or caregiver.
In the case of severe weather, CAMP AWESOME® reserves the right to cancel any activities
that may endanger our campers.
MANDATED REPORTERS
CAMP AWESOME® staff are mandated reporters by law. If there are any suspected cases of
child abuse or neglect, the staff will report directly to the appropriate authorities for
