This is the best small appliance! Its so much safer and easier for
me to use than a stove top kettle or glass pot. Its just the right
size, not too heavy, and heats up quickly and efficiently. The
automatic shut off is an added bonus. It would be ideal for a
student in the dorm, and as a gift for a bride, or someone who
moves into their first place away from Mom and Dad.

I've had previous ones (white color) which lasted about 2 to 3

years. Hope this one lasts longer as it is a very useful product.
Black color is very nice. It is lighter and shorter than previous
models which makes it easier to maneuver. Hopefully the
electronics holds up.

heats up the water uniformly. Although if you put a large volume
of cold water inside to heat, it consumes very high wattage and

Does it heat water fast? Yes. Does it have the features I had on
my more expensive version? No. You be the judge. Firstly, the
cord is very, very short. The top will pop open if you pour the
water at too steep of an angle which can cause splashes and
burns. Once you take the pot off the base to pour water and

heats up really fast and even looks good on my counter. You
really can't beat all of that for the price. I still kind of wish it was
metal though, but time will tell if I really I fall in love with it.
