Curricular and Cocurricular Activities and English Proficiency

I am a hard-working and competitive individual. In 2016, I got 76.5% in 10th. After that, I chose the
science stream. In 2018, I obtained 74.92% in 12th. I have done my schooling at Gujarat Secondary
and Higher Secondary Education Board. I have completed my engineering degree from GTU as a
Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) pursuing a career in Information Technology. I enjoy both travelling
and programming. My ability to interact with people on a personal level is enhanced by travel. As a
hobby, though, I may enjoy my alone time while carrying out my daily tasks through programming.
I took the IELTS exam on October 30, 2021, and received an overall band of 6.5, with listening scores
of 7.0, reading scores of 7.0, writing scores of 6.5, and speaking scores of 6.0. The obtained score
satisfies Conestoga College's English aptitude standards for admission.

Technical Skills and Internship Information


I aim to enhance myself through self-learning and hands-on experience. Throughout college, I have
added a few languages to my skillset like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, Python with Django,
React Js, Node js, and Express js. And for databases, I have learnt MySQL and MongoDB.To get
corporate world knowledge, I have done an internship for 3 months at Enlighten Infosystems. Where
my duty was to make an E-commerce website for smartphones. I worked on a project named “Apna
Phone”.

Family and Finance


My father, mother, elder brother, and I make up the four members of my family. My father is a
diamond businessman. My elder brother is studying, and my mother is a homemaker. My tuition
fees for the university have already been paid in full at 18,019 CAD. I already have a 10,000 CAD GIC
account with CIBC set up to take care of my accommodation and daily living costs while I'm in
Canada. Throughout my one-year stay in Canada, my father will be the main financial backer of
whatever expenses I may have. All required additional documents are included with the visa
application.

Why Conestoga College for Web Development?


Conestoga College, founded in 1967, is one of the country's top 100 institutions of higher learning. It
has consistently been ranked first in Ontario. The majority of academic and career-development
courses, including Full-Time, Part-Time, Open, Degree, Diploma, Graduation, and Postgraduate
programmes, are offered at the primary school. Graduates of this college's web development
programme can find full- and part-time work as web developers in corporations, small- and medium-
sized organisations, the government, the entertainment industry, the healthcare industry,
education, and the not-for-profit sector. Graduates will create websites and web services as web
developers. Additionally, they may start their own freelance enterprises.For those who want to work
in the field of web-centric business application development, the college where I chose to enrol in
my course offers comprehensive, hands-on training. The program's main emphasis is on user-
centred design, which is backed up by considerable back-end coding and front-end use of graphic
design, multimedia, video, animation, and e-commerce tools to facilitate a fully functional website.
This meets my criteria, thus I choose to enrol in this college.
