Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF) is the largest food product marketing organization of India. It aims to provide good returns to the farmers and also to fulfill the requirements of consumers by giving them quality products. Amul was formed in 1946 by an apex co-operative organization, Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation. AMUL means "priceless" in Sanskrit. Amul products are used by millions of people. Amul Butter, Amul Milk Powder, Amul Ghee, Amulspray, Amul Cheese, Amul Chocolates, Amul Shrikhand, Amul Ice cream, Nutramul, Amul Milk, and Amulya has made Amul one of the leading food brands in India.
