Ms. Wei-Tzu Liao works full-time at National Taiwan Normal University as a counselor
(consulting psychologist). The Counseling Center at National Taiwan Normal University
(NTNU) was established to assist and enhance the mental health of its staff and students. With
the objective of improving the mental well-being of all on campus, we provide psychological
counseling, consultation, education, research, and group counseling (consulting). To achieve
this aim, we use a three-stage preventative approach in collaboration with administrative
offices such as the Office of Student Affairs and the Office of Academic Affairs: prevention,
development, diagnosis, and treatment.
Intimacy is essential to the process of forming and maintaining intimate relationships.
Marriage's major role has evolved from providing security, stability, and raising children to
establishing a lifetime of love and intimacy because of modernization. Previously, successful
marriages were based on duty and role competency. Modern marriages need more
interpersonal competence as well as equality in peer connections between couples.
Relationships that not only generate secure families but also offer couples with a lifetime of
love and friendship are sought after. Intimate Relationship Skills programs offer a complete
method for increasing self-awareness and developing the ability to maintain enjoyable intimate
relationships. Intimate Relationship Skills unique and original approach integrates and offers a
wide range of theories and approaches from psychology, education, and psychotherapy in an
educational format. Intimate Relationship Skills serves to bridge the gap between therapy,
marital enrichment, and marriage and family development.
