1. What are your first overall impressions of the films?


- The difference of time then and now because of how they are just documenting the ocean and put
harm to sea creatures.
2. What contributions did the Cousteau Team make to Oceanography and Marine Biology?
- Cousteau contributions is important for the people of that time to discover rare films like that
because technology are still not that advanced unlike today..
3. What significant discoveries did they make/observe/document that is still valid today?
-That the more they go deeper the more vibrant the color of the area is and that there is still forms of
life in the very deep part of the sea.
4. What practices/methods made by the team during their time are still valid/practiced today?
-That scuba diving is essential to discover more life in the unexpected part of ocean
5. What practices/methods made by the team during their time have been lost or are not followed
today, even though they seem practical and useful?
-Bombing the sea creature of dynamite and hammering the corals to easily get samples.
6. What practices/methods made by the team during that time may be considered controversial,
illegal, or unethical today? How would you defend their actions?
--Bombing the sea creature of dynamite and hammering the corals , and killing the shark.
