Important @ Check if the dust bag has been inserted correctly before you use the appliance for the first time. @ Never suck up water or any other liquid. Never suck up ashes until they are cold. @ Don’t use the vacuum cleaner to suck up inflammables and glass or metal splinters; don’t suck up surface covered with plastic, cement, stone dust or flour, ® Sucking up fine dust may cause the pores of the dust bag to become clogged. This will obstruct the passage of air through the bag, If this happens, the dust bag will have to be replaced, even ifit is not full yet. @ To avoid damage: Never use the vacuum cleaner without the motor protection filter. @ = Ifthe appliance has breakdown, it may only be repaired by the maintenance center. Never dismantle it by yourself blindly. © If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard. How to use the appliance To connect the suction hose: insert the suction hose into the opening. To disconnect the suction hose: press the buttons on both sides of the suction hose and pull out the hose. To connect the tube to the handgrip To adjust the combi nozzle to the type of floor to be cleaned:(for carpets) or (for hard floor) To switch the appliance on: To adjust the suction power: To carry the appliance: lift it by the handle Insufficient suction power? Please check: @ Ifthe dust bag is full? @ Ifthe nozzle, tub or hose is blocked? @ To remove the obstruction, let the air flow through the hose and/or tube in opposite direction Accessory @ Take out the accessory (combination nozzle, T-shape brush) and connect it to the handgrip. Storage @ Switch the appliance off @ Remove the mains plug from the wall socket. @ Rewind the mains cord by pressing the cord rewind button @ Attach the lower tube to the vacuum cleaner. Replace the dust bag @ Ifthe dust bag is full, the dust bag should be replaced. @ Open the cover. @ Remove the dust bag holder. @ Remove the full dust bag.Insert the new dust bag into the dust bag holder. Insert the dust bag holder into the lower housing. Close the lid (‘ticktack’) Note that it is impossible to close the cover when no dust bag has been inserted. Dust bags @ Dust bags, motor protection filter and exhaust air filter are available from your dealer. Please note that they should be the same type number. Cotton dust bag If you use the cotton dust bag instead of the paper dust bag, the bag can be used and emptied repeatedly. For removing and inserting the cotton dust bag, simply follow the instructions for replacing paper dust bag. You can empty the cotton dust bag in the following ways: @ Hold the dust bag over a dustbin. Remove the clip by sliding it off the dust bag sideways. @ Shake the contents of the dust bag into the dustbin. ®@ Close the dust bag by sliding the clip back onto the bottom edge of the dust bag. Tf you use the cotton dust bag, we advise you to wash the motor protection filter in lukewarm water once a year. Make sure that the filter is completely dry before you put it back into the vacuum cleaner.Replacing a motor protection filter Replace the motor protection filter when you insert the first of a new set of dust bag. Replacing the exhaust air filter @ Remove the holder. @ Insert the bottom edge of the new filter properly into the ridges of the holder. @ Close the holder by pressing it home gently.
