Part One: Modeling and sketching 3D objects (30 minutes, 10 marks)
Create a 3D model of the bracket in Figure 1 using SolidWorks.
Hint: Use the custom sizing option in the Holewizard menu to create a counterbore hole with the given Spec.

Part Two: Modeling and sketching 3D objects (45 minutes, 20 marks)
a- Create a 3D modeling of the component in Figure 2. using SolidWorks. After individually creating the part, discuss within your team how many features you have used. Anyone did it with two features only?
b- Create third-angle-projection orthographic views of the created 3D model using the
“Making drawing from part” feature in SolidWorks.

Part Three: Orthographic drawing (25 minutes, 10 marks)
Solve problems 15, 18, 19, and 21 in chapter 1 in the textbook.
Part Four: Project Progress report (10 minutes)
Team Captains report the weekly progress of the SolidWorks and Final projects to the tutorial instructor. Teams must meet at least once a week to work on their projects. Please make sure to meet all the posted deadlines on Canvas. Please pay attention to the documentation of important discussions, ideas, internal/external communication, etc. in the team logbook.
