BCSE 2022: Preliminary Examination details

The Royal Civil Service Commission is pleased to announce that the Preliminary Examination of the Bhutan
Civil Service Examination 2022 will be conducted in two locations viz: Thimphu (in six different venues) and
Mongar (in Mongar HSS) as detailed below:

1. Schedule:

Date of PE : August 7, 2022 (Sunday)

Reporting time : 9:00 AM at the Examination venue

3. Materials required for the PE:

Candidates are required to bring the following:
✓ e-Admission Card;
✓ File board (should not have any writings/inscriptions on it);
✓ Pencil;
✓ Sharpener & Eraser;
✓ Calculator (fx 100 and below).

4. Candidates are urged to refer video tutorial on the procedures to use OMR Answer Sheet for the PE,
available on our website www.rcsc.gov.bt/bcse
5. No personal belongings, including mobile phone/smart watch would be allowed into the
examination hall/room. Therefore, candidates are requested not to bring such belongings. RCSC
shall not be responsible in the event of loss of such belongings.
6. Declaration of the PE Result – August 24, 2022

Health safety protocols

In order to ensure the safety of the candidates, all are strictly required to adhere to follow the
following health safety protocols:

1. It is mandatory to put on a Face Mask by all the candidates. Candidates without a face
mask will not be allowed an entry to the Examination Centre (School).

2. Candidates must Wash hands with soap before entering the examination hall/room.
