The Start of The Journey
It was just an ordinary day at Cherry Lane Primary. But it was not just normal for the three boys Joe, Dhruv and
Sam. These three boys were jumping like mad. When school ended the three skipped over to Joe’s house. They
quietly shut the door of Joe’s room.

Joe said “Everyone ready?”

He pulled a book out of the shelf. A large hoop with a pad popped in front of them.

“Ah my beloved porthole1 maker!”

Joe started pressing buttons like a piano on the pad. The machine was working, it was creating a porthole!

Trrrinngg!

The porthole opened, the three boys swung on their back packs and marched.

“Now let’s go!”

The three kids jumped through the porthole and landed on the cold metal floor plane.

“Owe!” screamed Sam, rubbing his sore bottom.

Through Time
Readers, it’s good that you know what’s going on. There are four locks and four keys glass, air, fire and water
which is locked in Earth, ‘The Begin of Life’. A bunch of mad aliens were trying to destroy them. They shot it but
instead of breaking the keys, they travelled through time.

Due to this everything in the universe is going out of control!!!

So, to restore peace in the universe someone has to put all keys in their locks. The three kids have braced
themselves to save the universe. Sounds easy? Well it isn’t apparently. The alien team is still after it, so it won’t

be easy.

The Way
“So where will we go first?”, asked Sam.

“Vikings empire”, replied Joe.

“Why?”, asked Sam.

“Do you know the history of Vikings?”, asked Joe.

“No”, said Sam.

“Then you’ll never know”, replied Joe.

Then out of nowhere Dhruv came into the scene.

He announced “What’s going on?”.

“No, nothing. Sam wanted to know why we’re going to the Viking empire to find the glass key.”, informed Joe.

“It’s obvious. The Vikings were the best at turning glass into different things.” said Dhruv “That reminds me, I
bought you these.”.

He threw 2 packs of ‘Mr. Rings Lemon Flavor Rings’ to Sam and Joe.

“Mr. Rings” exclaimed Sam “I love these! Let’s eat it quickly as our plane’s destination is coming.”

Now in traveling time plane had reached its final destination.

Vikings
They landed on soft grass.

“We’ll need a disguise, take one invisibility tablet2 ” said Joe.

“They’re bitter.” exclaimed Sam.

“You didn’t expect them to be sweet. Did you? “asked Dhruv who was happily gulping his down.

Sam pitched his nose and drank it.

“Okay, everyone I have a plan. ” whispered Joe.

He discussed the plan with Sam and Joe. Sam would be on the lookout for any enemy attacks. Dhruv would be
going to find the glass key and would call Sam if he needed any help. And Joe (himself)would help Sam to
navigate and stop the aliens from attacking.

“Well you have got to admit that it isn’t a Masterplan” said Sam concluding.

“Yeah.”, said Joe still admiring his plan.

“I thought he didn’t hear you.” said Dhruv in a hushed voice to Sam.

“I think you meant to say that ‘I think he didn’t hear you’”, said Sam correcting Dhruv.

“That’s what I said!”, protested Dhruv.

“No, you didn’t.”, argued Sam.

“Oh, just shut up would you!” attacked Dhruv.

Sam was clearly hurt, but he tried hard not to show it.

“I’ve locked two portholes*” Sam reported “can’t close the 3 rd”.

“No worries, I’ll keep an eye on it.” replied Joe crawling to it. “First of all, where is it?”

“Can you see a sea market?”

“Yes”

“Over the center of it at an altitude of six hundred feet”

“Six thousand what?”

“No, six hundred feet”

“OK. How’s Dhruv?”

“Oh him, he’s sure that radiation of the glass key is coming from a longhouse.”

Dhruv’s Mission
“The glass key! I knew that it was here.” said Dhruv, he could see the key floating in the air. He stepped forward
but the block fell.

“RASIT’S trick” he whispered “I know this. Now where did I keep my marbles?”.

He jumped while throwing different color plastic marbles. The marbles had an effect on the system as it bent the
aiming light in different directions. At last he grabbed the key and said: -

We’ve won!

The Attack
Oh No! The aliens armed with a dozen of fly ships, started attacking.

Dhruv with the glass key created a layer of glass around the village. Joe did the best attacking the ships with
magic potions. Sam who knew Latin, informed the Vikings.

“Impetum! Hoste fugiens in caelum.”, said Sam.

With the extra help from the Vikings they managed to stop them but couldn’t put them in the dark realm. They
had some relief as the aliens had stopped attacking.

But after some time, their force had weakened. Taking advantage of their weak opponents, the fly ships started
attacking again.

BANG!

A child was flying in air.

‘Rita, fancy seeing you here” screamed Dhruv.

Rita taking no notice said,” Dhruv! Make a glass capsule around the ships. Joe, can you turn the glass into
rubber. I’ll put it back where it belongs.”

“Sure” replied Joe.

And in no time the ships were put in the dark realm.

Dhruv asked, “Rita, keep the glass key in a secret chamber.”

The three kids began their hunt for the air key!
