interface, shown as Figure 20:

Figure 20: Vlan

VLAN configuration parameter is mainly for each port. Configuration parameter in Global VLAN Configuration and Port
VLAN Configuration are closely connected, so configuration parameter in Global VLAN Configuration can not be treated
separately.
⚫ Allow Access VLANs – This configuration parameter only applies in Access mode. When the Port Mode is
Access, its Port VLAN value needs to be added into Allow Access VLANs, otherwise data can not be forwarded
by the current port normally. Allow Access VLANs value should be separated by comma, and for sequential
values, dash can be used, like:1,10,11,12,13,200, and also can be 1,10-13, 200
⚫ Ethertype for Custom S-ports – This configuration parameter only applies in S-Custom-Port Port Type.When
the Port Mode is Hybrid, and Port Type is S-Custom-Port, users can define TPID value through configuring
Ethertype for Custom S-ports value. Original value is set as 88A8.
There are mainly three port modes for each port: Access mode, Trunk mode, Hybrid mode. Configurable parameter can be
slightly different afterwards, at different port modes.

2.2.7.1 Access mode

At Access mode, users only need to configure two parameter below. Other parameter is not configurable.
⚫ Port VLAN - Configure the PVID value of this port, and only one value is configurable, ranging from 1 – 4095,
originally set as 1;
⚫ Forbidden VLANs – Forbidden VLAN sheet, originally set as blank.

2.2.7.2 Trunk mode

At Trunk mode, users only need to configure four parameter below. Other parameter is not configurable.
⚫ Port VLAN - Configure the PVID value of this port, and only one value is configurable, ranging from 1 – 4095,
originally set as 1

Page 20
ZTC-S IDU Manual V1.0
⚫ Egress Tagging – This configuration parameter only works for the port output data flow. At Trunk mode, only
two parameter below optional: Originally set as Untag Port VLAN
 Untag Port VLAN –To divide port output data flow from its Port VLAN
 Tag all – To not divide port output data flow from its Port VLAN
⚫ Allowed VLANs – This equals a VLAN forwarding sheet, and users can add or delete VLAN permitted by the
port, Originally set as 1 – 4095
⚫ Forbidden VLANs –Forbidden VLAN sheet, originally set as blank

2.2.7.3 Hybrid mode

At Hybrid mode, users need to configure seven parameter below:
⚫ Port VLAN - Configure PVID value of the Port, only one value configurable, ranging from1 – 4095, originally
set as 1
⚫ Port Type – Configure the type of port. At Hybrid mode, user can choose one out of the four types below to do
the configuration:
 Unaware – Downlink applied in QinQ;
 C-Port – Recognize VLAN information of Ingress frame. Mainly at Access and Trunk mode;
 S-Port – mainly applied in QinQ Uplink. To revise TPID of data frame.
 S-Custom-Port – Almost the same as S-Port function, the difference is users can define revise TPID value
through Global VLAN Configuration;
⚫ Ingress Filtering – If chosen, VLAN of data frame will not be inside port VLAN, then data frame shall be
disabled.
⚫ Ingress Acceptance – To check and accept port input data flow. At Hybrid mode, users can choose one out of the
three ways to do the configuration:
 Tagged and Untagged – Pass Tagged and Untagged frame;
 Tagged Only – Only pass Tagged frame
 Untagged Only – Only pass Untagged frame
⚫ Egress Tagging - This configuration works for port output data flow. At Hybrid mode, there are three parameter
below optional. Originally set as Untag Port VLAN:
 Untag Port VLAN - To divide port output data flow from its Port VLAN;
 Tag all – To not divide port output data flow from its Port VLAN;
 Untag All - To divide port output data flow from its VLAN tag。
⚫ Allowed VLANs – This equals a VLAN forwarding sheet, and users can add or delete VLAN permitted by the
port, Originally set as 1 – 4095
⚫ Forbidden VLANs –Forbidden VLAN sheet, originally set as blank.
