4 Details

１） Phenomenon of problem

The conventional transistors used on CAH-1960/CAH-1960-S were already discontinued in

production, then the new transistors do not need the insulation sheet.

２） Information or countermeasures

Transistors TR4 and TR5 (2SC2540) for drive amp stage were discontinued, therefore they were
changed to the VHB40-12F5 in 2006.
The insulation sheet that used for 2SC2540 is unnecessary cause VHB40-12F5 is insulated
structure.
Install the new CAH-1960 without the insulation sheet when replacing the unit.
Even if the insulation sheet is installed with the new CAH-1960, there is no problem.
