 HOW PACIFIC JEANS HIRES EMPLOYEES

SYNOPSIS
As part of my BBA program, I will complete my three months internship program
at “Pacific jeans Ltd", which is the largest among locally invested garments.
Moreover, it is the second-largest among all garments in Bangladesh. Pacific jeans
Ltd is a 100% export-oriented garments manufacturing industry. During my
internship period at "Pacific jeans Ltd”, I will work with the HRM department of
the company and try to acquire knowledge about how they execute their
recruitment and selection process. Based on my experience working with the HR
professionals of the company I will compose the report regarding “How Pacific
Jeans Hires Employees”.
In this paper, I will try to focus on and analyze the core Human Resource functions
of “Pacific Jeans Ltd” and what kind of value-added services they are providing to
their employees. In the report, I will discuss the activities that I will conduct which
will be described in detail. The services include CV screening, Data entry, Job
posting, assisting in interviews, helping candidates at the time of joining etc.
In CV screening I will discuss the Executive Search of candidates from BD jobs or
other relevant sources. In Pacific Jeans Ltd joining process is very strict and
confidential. In the case of training, I will try to explain the different areas of
recruitment and selection. These areas would be the current situation of
recruitment, how to advertise and attract candidates, succession planning etc. In
this report, the problems, scope, limitations and various analyses will also be done.
For collecting primary data for the report, I will apply 4 methods which will be the
interview, questionnaire, observation, and discussion with various officers and
workers. For collecting secondary data, I will depend on various sources of
information like the internet, articles related to the topic and documents provided
by the company.
In this report I will also explain the whole profile of Pacific Jeans Ltd.
