Fine motor skills

Dear parents :
Kindly be informed that ( fine motor skills) are skills that involve a
refined use of the small muscles controlling the hand, fingers and
thumbs.
The development of these skills allows the child to be able to complete

tasks sutch as writing,drawing and tracing.
This part has been designed to help your child strenthen his/her small
muscles to prepare your child for the academic hand writing.
How can you help your child to enhance his/her fine motor skills ?
You can let your child do some of these activities:
• Coloring with crayon because the crayon is more

effective for enhancing the fine motor skills.
• Cut a long a straight or curved line with plastic
scissors.
• Play with play douh .
Together we will help your child learn and have fun.
